10441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: May 05, 2019, 04:39:49 PM
I do not see Ripple among the best virtual currencies. Sorry, I cannot call it even the crypto through its centralized nature. It is more interesting to the banks not to the simple investors.

Ripple is a crypto. Just because it is centralised does not make it less crypto than altcoins.
10442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is KYC For Bounty Hunters Good? Lets Share Our Views! on: May 05, 2019, 04:37:20 PM
The last signature campaign ive participated  requires kyc, i provided documents and still pending for almost 3 weeks, and its not clear if we will recieve the bounty cause no one is answering thier telegram group.

All the signs suggest they are scammers.

They really should have been in touch with you by now but their silence speaks volumes.
10443  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: MinexPay crypto debit card by minexpay.com / Minexcoin on: May 05, 2019, 12:18:22 PM
I suppose the major disaster for any investor that got involved in this trainwreck, must be the 'parking' of any significant amount in Minexbank.

This is something I had considered initially myself but never put into action, thankfully being appalled by their constant failures to run a simple card program.

Imagine the horror of someone putting a couple of grand for 'parking' and watching his invested capital being reduced to dog shit.

In this case, the dog shit are significantly more valuable compared to this Minexcoin.

Sadly people fell for the scam. Many believed the 145% interest rates were true and did not realise Minex was set up as milking cow for Boris to siphon-off funds for himself so he could lead a jet-setting millionaire lifestyle
10444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: May 05, 2019, 12:15:57 PM
I think there's a good chance to see BNB go to $50 in 2019 and if we see a long bull run in both bitcoins and altcoins, then above $100 should be possible also this year also.

Maybe the highest price Binance can achieve is $ 75, or about 3 times the current price, of course, Binance is very dependent on the price of bitcoin which is the determining factor for the prices of altcoins.

What happened to the Binance ICO promise of allowing tokens to be used for just 3 years?
10445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: May 05, 2019, 12:15:17 PM
I guess the price could be manipulated with pumps and dumps but any ecosystem and usage cannot be done so easily so going by that BNB for sure cannot be seen as a competitor to ETH.
Not only BNB, but also rest of altcoins hardly to surpass Ethereum (if all two components considered, especially ecosystem market value). Years after its birthday, Ethereum has built up its second largest ecosystem in crypto. Ethereum price, Ethereum market cap can be surpassed by others (even it is not easily), but Ethereum ecosystem market cap will stay strongly at the second position in crypto for too long. Ripple sometimes surpassed Ethereum in total market cap, but its ecosystem has been too small.

Things are not always as clear as that.

Binance came from nowhere in 2017 and had an ICO (Ethereum contract) and went on to become the market leader in crypto exchanges.

Maybe a start-up exchange with innovative ideas will be able to break in to the smart contract field and have a wider bigger ecosystem than Ethereum in a short space of time. I have seen that in crypto world too many things however unlikely to happen still can happen.
10446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: May 05, 2019, 12:11:40 PM
There is no swap but it's the token removal. NPXS and NPXSEK token holders are not affected by it. It will probably reduce the number of converted NPXS tokens from the supply.

So NPXS holders can ask for their tokens to be removed and in exchange receive FX tokens instead?

Is that how it works?

Not exactly. NPXS holders can swap their tokens for FX tokens while this token removal is a different case which won't affect any current holders.

Am I correct in saying that the end aim for the long run is for NPXS to re removed and replaced completely with FX?

I think they do not want both NPXS and FX tokens to be running together and prefer to have one identifier token.
10447  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New Payza Bitcoin API allows for automated payouts to BTC Wallets on: May 05, 2019, 12:05:08 PM
Payza.com is not related to Payza.eu and the address given in this website is probably wrong as on the website it has 3 addresses that don't match.

And Payza was first called Alertpay and it was founded in 2004.

Thank you for the post.

The address on the payza.eu website shows an address not in the UK but next to it clearly states MH Pillars Ltd is the licence holder.

Going by the information they have registered with companies house and the fact they are not even competent enough to file their accounts on time and decide to use a cheap-for-hire registered company address to show on file explain a lot about Payza.

I am not impressed, I think there is a lot more going on here than meets the eye.

I would stay away from payza.eu and advise others to follow suit.
10448  Economy / Speculation / When will we see another Bitcoin 4 week boom such as in 2017? on: May 05, 2019, 11:25:35 AM
Between 17th November 2017 and 17th December 2017 the price of Bitcoin rose from around $7400 to $19300 (according to CMC)

Since that period when almost the whole market was riding high it came back down and hovered around £3000 for a long time. Now finding stability Bitcoin is around $5500 mark.

What next for Bitcoin? What are the market factors needed in pushing for another bull run or mass buying spree?
10449  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: MinexPay crypto debit card by minexpay.com / Minexcoin on: May 05, 2019, 11:19:00 AM
I am just coming from a brief interaction I had a couple of minutes ago in the Minexpay/Minexcoin Telegram chat that unfortunately ended sadly.
An admin decided to cut off my words and block me from their precious Telegram group after noticing my comment on their 'high level business discussion' on mining farms.
My now-deleted comment was:
''Mining farms are a joke. You want to know what else is a joke? You better not know. Ignorance is bliss''
Probably the admin got the message clearly, before replying to me with the phrase:
'Any proofs?
and cutting our interaction.
I had decided some months ago to give a shot at this Minexpay card, but after seeing their crashing inadequacy on delivering their project timelines, my 'card endeavour' ended with a simple cancelation and refund.
Of course, that refund was another joke on the series of bad jokes this project actually consists of, bearing in mind that the Minexcoin value had dropped dramatically and continues to do so.
This Thread here is a direct reflection of reality on what is going on with this scam venture, and I am really greatful of what all of you are doing here.

thunderjet has been very active here exposing the Minex and Republia scammers. We are all grateful to him.

I am glad you will not be wasting your time in the Minex scam Telegram any more. It is better to save your money and your time by disassociating with anything related to Minex.
10450  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: May 05, 2019, 11:14:28 AM
I am a victim of Bittrex 's scam ieo ocean. Bittrex sold ieo ocean for their customers with price 0.00002350 btc and got $ 6 million. But price ieo ocean dropped over 70% from the begin trading on the exchange (0.00000650 btc ). And price ocean now is 0.00000484 btc, this is obviously scam ieo ocean.
I lost 80% my money with this scam ieo. I buy ieo ocean because I trust bittrex but all are only scam. Now I am very sad, panic and angry.

Bittrex, please refund money for everyone, or no one will trade with your exchange any more.

I never heard of "ocean ieo". Please explain the back story of who/what "ocean" actually was and exactly how did they scam you?

Could you also please explain why "Bittrex is responsible" and why "Bittrex is liable" for losses incurred by investors if a company comes along and scams?

If for example, Binance receives $6 million for handling the "ocean ieo" then it turns out that "ocean" was a scam, why would Binance be responsible?

If for example, somebody buys advertising space seeking investors on social media or any media such as Washington Post, Youtube, Facebook and CNN (and passes their due-dilligence test) then decides to scam, why would those media outlets be responsible for paying back your losses?

The same logic applies to crypto exchanges too.
10451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: May 04, 2019, 11:59:55 PM
You might be right, ETH might be holding 2nd place in CMC for a long time but I see XRP as a serious competitor and do not see BNB as serious competition at all.

XRP has historical volume behind it. It will be a successful coin for years to come but BNB is a relative baby in terms of longevity.
The key points here are: When we want to compare two coins we have to compare them in two criteria at least:
- One, their price, of course. Most people compared two assets like this, but it is not enough.
- Two, their ecosystem: By mention about ecosystem, I meant how widely use cases two assets been used in real life so far. In addition, how big their ecosystem are (in ecosystem's market values).
Combination of two criteria will help us have clearer and more exact comparisons between two assets (whatever assests you want to compare).
People often forget the second indicator, ecosytem market value, that is very important, but they missed it all.
When applying the combination of two criteria: Ethereum will definite maintain its second position in crypto.

Excellent post.

I guess the price could be manipulated with pumps and dumps but any ecosystem and usage cannot be done so easily so going by that BNB for sure cannot be seen as a competitor to ETH.
10452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: May 04, 2019, 11:48:31 PM
We have heard lots of time about flippenings between Bitcoin and Ethereum at the first position, then between Ethereum and Ripple at the second position, by now, what's happened? Ethereum has never taken over the position of bitcoin, and Ripple, despite of the fact that some time (in days) XRP took over the  second position of Ethereum on CMC, but it did not last too long. And, it is just total marketcap of Ripple and Ethereum. In contrast, for total value of Ethereum ecosystem, and Ripple ecosystem, Ripple has never taken over the place of Ethereum. So, it's time to stop mention that Ripple or BNB, or anything else can surpass Ethereum in next few years.

You might be right, ETH might be holding 2nd place in CMC for a long time but I see XRP as a serious competitor and do not see BNB as serious competition at all.

XRP has historical volume behind it. It will be a successful coin for years to come but BNB is a relative baby in terms of longevity.
10453  Economy / Speculation / Re: Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt on: May 04, 2019, 11:43:39 PM
Good point, but a person who spent a couple grand back in 2015 on 10 bitcoins isn't gambling much at this point compared to potential future gains, wouldn't you say?
-Just an example, I'm sure there are earlier players who spent a couple grand on a thousand bitcoins.

I agree, those investment examples you gave are excellent comparators.

The timing of when to buy, when to sell and at which price it all happens is the real key to being a success or a failure.
10454  Economy / Speculation / Re: Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt on: May 04, 2019, 11:14:29 PM
It's extremely easy to go broke trading crypto - especially making trades on margin. Short term trading is gambling, nothing more.

Even those holding for long term as also not guaranteed anything, that too can be defined as gambling.
10455  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: May 04, 2019, 10:06:37 PM
Just another question about their 100 BTC withdrawals limit, is there a monthly cap? 100 BTC per day could add up to 3100 BTC a month which currently equate to over $16 million a month in FIAT withdrawals. Do they cap monthly withdrawls to 500 BTC or 800 BTC etc?

No, I've just confirmed it. There's no monthly cap; they are literally allowing up to 3100 BTC a month of withdrawals for each verified account!

From what I can see, newbies accounts are regularly being created for the sole purpose to attack Bittrex. I am unsure what the exact motive the perpetrators have for doing it but I hope they stop.

I am really impressed with Bittrex directly because of your posts. I have not signed up with Coinbase yet but I want to send my KYC to an exchange that will not mess me around further down the line. Coinbase is still an option but Bittrex sounds excellent too..

What are your personal views of Bittrex over Coinbase for example?

Honestly, I can't comment on that comparison as I only used Coinbase once in 2013. I've never been a fan of Coinbase but at the same time, I think that I should've tried (and experienced) it more. Anyways, I'm planning to try it out in the near future, so I think that I'll be able to compare these two soon.

Moreover, never forget, DYOR before risking your funds anywhere! Wink

Thank you for updating

I will do my own research but it seems like the idea of opening an account with Coinbase will take a back-seat for now. I think Bittrex is where the focus is so I hope to get on their website probably Monday or Tuesday to sign up and see what happens. As long as I can get hold of a live chat operator/helper on their website before signing up I think things will go very smoothly.

Thank you for taking the time to chat to the live operators and getting that 100 BTC daily limit confirmed. I will never be in a position to do that but when I do want to send fiat to an exchange and also withdraw fiat from an exchange I just want a seamless transaction with a reputable company that does not selective scam customers or sell their KYC on the black market to criminals.
10456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ADAB - First Islamic Crypto Exchange, based on the Shariah norms on: May 04, 2019, 09:58:02 PM
Really it is a scam? They claim that they are listed BitForex, IDAX, Bit-Z - these exchanges wouldn“t list something what is obvious scam, or they would?

When they claim to be "religious" but are happy to accept ICO funding and other investment from pimps and prostitutes and drug dealers and funding from all illegal and immoral sources - then they are a scam.

As for where they are listed, they will trumpet it no doubt because after having 9 month ICO and after ending their "bounty" campaign over 5 weeks ago they still have not paid bounty to anybody.

10458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: May 04, 2019, 07:41:08 PM
I see a lot of people here worried with BNB getting the ETH market share. CZ was the first to say that Binance is not competing with Ethereum directly. Binance chain does not have smart contracts and Ethereum is not only a crowdfund network but a dapp network. Many things are going to be built on the ethereum network and the team is always improving their code. I would be more worried with blockchains like Tezos and Lamden.

Right now I have no hesitation in saying I would prefer to use Ethereum contracts over Binance contracts.

ETH does everything any business would need it to do. If the only selling point BNB has is lightening fast transations then that is not enough to sway many people.
10459  Economy / Speculation / Re: Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt on: May 04, 2019, 07:39:04 PM
Well yes that happen and many investors can't recover investments if buy on bull run, but i think if they will hold until next bull run will can recover investments and also they can make a good profit.

Sadly profits are not guaranteed. Crypto wild-west has more losers than it has winners....

Racquemis and Cryptorich has been activated recently again in Telegram, trying to reanimate the MNX group. That is a firm sign that some big false announcement(scam) is coming.

In the meantime only about $900 is MNX Buy side deep on EXMO.Below $0.10 there are just few dollars worth Buy orders.

If these scammers are making a come-back on the Minex scam Telegram channel then maybe you are right, they might be co-ordinating some sort of new fake announcement in order to scam investors.

The price is barely above the $0.10 mark now. Within the next 7 days it might fall to $0.05.

Minexcoin/Minexpay/Minexsystem is dying a slow painful death just its sister scam company Republia.
