Don't let the Newbie tag fool you. This is Bitcoin_Mafia. Some of you may have seen mention of the unfolding saga of my account being hacked. Well, with no love forthcoming from the forum admin, I had no choice but to bite the bullet and create a new account. I was just getting a nice little flow of coin promo commissions when all of this happened. Oh well... life lesson I guess. Anyway... You: You are a coindev or member of a coindev team for an altcoin that doesn't suck, isn't a PnD or a scamcoin Me: I'm a mother, wife, geek (ette), gamer chick, web developer, writer, SEO maven, and crypto fiend. Seriously, about the web developer, writer and SEO thing? Been doing it for almost 2 decades now. What I can offer: - web design / development - social media promotion (1300 Twitter followers and growing daily - all crypto related) - hosting giveaways / contests - setting up and running faucets - blogging about your coin - setting up an info section about your coin on my site - http://bitcoinmafia.com - for news updates, PR, etc... - waxing lyrical about your coin on IRC, Reddit, on the boards, and in Poloniex's trollbox If any of this sounds like a fit, send me a PM! Cheers! Cynthia

I remember reading the thread where you explained how your real account got hacked. Good luck with the promotion. Thanks - I've more or less given up on getting the original account back Now I just have to move forward. Just sucks because I had good momentum going on that account.

First, don't let the Newbie tag fool you. This is Bitcoin_Mafia. Some of you may have seen mention of the unfolding saga of my account being hacked. Well, with no love (no response at all really) forthcoming from the forum admin, I had no choice but to bite the bullet and create a new account. Bitcoin_Mafia_Me isn't terribly original, but it is...well...me. I was just getting into the groove of promoting altcoins when everything went sideways, so now I'm starting from scratch here on the forums. You: You are a coindev or member of a coindev team for an altcoin that doesn't suck, isn't a PnD or a scamcoin Me: I'm a mother, wife, geek (ette), gamer chick, web developer, writer, SEO maven, and crypto fiend. I'm almost always lurking... Cheers! Cynthia

Is this from the same developer as Honorcoin?
Hell no, AXIS coindev is NOT the same coindev from "Honor" coin.

As I can see 13yhuJJ6idggJWxjN3P8TiovP9ykyvd8HH is your address. Why dont u ask Theymos to provide u an address and send him a predefined some, say 0.0007 BTC, to prove u r the owner. This is the simplest way u can get back your account. Already thought of that, and even suggested it, but so far have heard nothing back.

Sigh... back to the drawing board. I am not new to Bitcoin Talk. I've been lurking and posting here since February as Bitcoin_Mafia. Yesterday some nimrod hacked my account and changed the email address so that I can't reset the password. I'm stuck until admin either recovers the account or deletes it altogether. About me... I am the mother of two boys, ages 19 and 13. The oldest just graduated from high school (yay!). By day I am a web designer, developer, SEO maven, social media butterfly, and writer. By night I am a crypto fanatic. I love everything about crypto-currency...the variety, the roller coaster ride of value fluctuations, the possibilities and the accessibliity. I've started doing commission work promoting altcoins - the odd blog post here, social media mentions there, Reddit, IRC, etc... One day I would love to make the move to doing crypto work full time, but barring something extraordinary happening, that dream is quite a ways off. In the meantime, I run a crypto site - Bitcoin Mafia - where I blog about coins, host giveaways, list (and run!) faucets and other freebie sites, etc... When I'm not working or rocketing around the crypto 'verse, I'm usually gaming. Sometimes with the kids, but usually with my husband. I'm not talking MMOs (though some of those are awesome as well!). I'm talking old school paper and dice D&D. Believe it or not, I actually met my husband at a D&D game we were both in. We still game most nights of the week Anywho, that's me. If you you have a coin that you need promoted (or if you just want to say 'Hey!') drop me a PM. I'm always here somewhere... lurking. Cheers, Cynthia Bitcoin_Mafia

Then you're probably screwed. Did you not send any payments using another address associated with the account?
No, that's the only BTC address I have associated with that account. I've still got system messages that were sent to the email address associated w/ that account as well. Those, coupled with the fact that I have the same BTC address associated with this account as with the hacked one, should - I hope - be enough to prove that Bitcoin_Mafia is, indeed, my account. Keeping fingers crossed! Cynthia that's wishful thinking. you either have a GPG/bitcoin signature or you don't. theymos already stated if you don't have either, he's not going to bother with alternative methods because it will take too much time. just don't get your hopes up. There's another option that would take a few minutes @ most. I already offered to make send a token BTC payment from that address to one specified by him to prove the address is mine, but haven't heard anything yet. We'll see, I suppose... Unless you can provide a GPG/bitcoin signature I seriously doubt Theymos is going to restore the account. Sending a trivial payment from another address isn't going to cut it I wouldn't think. ~BCX~ But it isnt' from another address. It is from the same address associated w/ the original account.

Yeah, I got that one too and actually DL the damn zip before I came to my senses. Running a full on virus scan now Did you use the same pw for the Hirocoin registration as your account here? Tell the truth now Sigh... yes. And I *know* better. GAH. What a clusterf*ck this has become.

OP, you registered for the Honorcoin wallet and you must have used the same password there for the registration that you use for your account here.
Honorcoin is clearly a huge scamming project.
Other people have received pm's here with an invite to 'test' an attached RPG game.

I don't know if I can. The address is a generated one from Cryptsy.

Hey all,
I posted before as Bitcoin_Mafia but the account got hacked and I'm trying to get w/ Theymos to retrieve it. in the meantime...
I have 4 of the round gridseeds arriving this coming week and I need a good USB hub. I'll be ordering it from Amazon.com so if anyone has any good recommendations that I can get from Amazon, that would be awesome.
Thanks so much!
Cynthia

Theymos,
I sent you a PM last night, but just in case...
My original account - Bitcoin_Mafia - appears to have been hacked, or at the very least locked. I can't log in with what I know are the correct username and password. Also, when I go to reset the password, the email that contains the reset password link never arrives. I check my junk mail and my spam folder, and nothing. I know I can receive system messages from the forum b/c I still have notification emails from when other users have replied to PMs in the past under my Bitcoin_Mafia account.
Please help!
The BTC address associated with this account is the same one associated with my hacked account.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Cynthia

until I can prove I am me and the admin gets me back in, I'm stuck w/ a new account I guess admins know your twitter account. You can tweet about what's happened to your account here as a prove that you are the real owner. Try to keep changing your IP address. Already done the IP thing. I still have notification emails from the forum from replies to PMs, etc... so that should count as proof of something. The advice about Twitter is good though. Thanks!

Hey all...
This is Bitcoin_Mafia. Either I got locked out or some dimrod hacked my account. Either way, until I can prove I am me and the admin gets me back in, I'm stuck w/ a new account.
I know I was in talks with some of you about coin promotions, and others I was actively working with you to promote your coins. Please PM me on this account until the matter of my Bitcoin_Mafia account is resolved.
In the mean time, have a good one!
Cheers,
Cynthia
