1041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 09, 2022, 11:52:59 AM
Another good example is Dirk, he didn't leave the team, and he won a ring against Lebron and Wade. So I guess the blue print is there already, the Nuggets management just need to piece together good players around him. Hopefully, with Jamal Murray and Porter Jr, Jokic can achieved an NBA championship maybe in the next 2 years. He just need to stay healthy though.
Well said.
Said names are all young guys. They have a lot of years to look forward for a championship.
Jokic at 27, Jamal Murray at 25, and Michael Porter Jr. at 23 years old. Jokic is in his prime while the two young guys are still being built up and we already witness how good they are even at young age.
They can do it as long as the management keeps them. There's just no telling when but I have high hopes they will as they progress in the sport.
Joker has no issues at building chemistry, I mean look at Aaron Gordon playing like he was part of the team for years.
1042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in early stage projects is the most rewarding way? on: April 09, 2022, 10:19:21 AM
Investing in early stage projects during their Initial DEX Offering launch is the most rewarding way?
Yes and no. Yes if you did invest in the project that has the real goal and no for the fake ones. I have read stories about those who managed to make tons of money during IDO or even the ICO craze but I don't know if that still happens now. It seems like it had been better to just go invest old school with Bitcoin and Ethereum and be a long term investors. You will learn your lessons once you become a victim of hit and run offerings.

But researching and finding high-quality ventures and investing might be tough. However, AdLunam has made it really simple and convenient.

AdLunam is the industry's first Proof of Attention Speedpad and Launchpad for Web3.0, benefiting both Projects and Investors. Here's where you can learn more about their services and receive early access to some exciting new projects: https://twitter.com/AdLunamInc
Thanks for the offer. Will try to check it out.
1043  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach its all-time high? on: April 08, 2022, 07:04:52 PM
I always try to look at long term movements when it comes to Bitcoin.
Did you now that at October of 2020 BTC was valued with just $10,000. It is not even 2 years yet and we want it to break a new all time high.
You should try contacting Elon Musk and thank him for making a hype and putting it at $60k. But that's all a short-term movement.
If this is our new bottom which is $40k then be glad about it. It just took 2 years to make $30,000 without even doing a single thing. Just keeping 1 BTC in your wallet.
1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 08, 2022, 02:43:45 PM
^^ Yes your are correct, the last time I checked, (about a month ago), Embiid was all over the MVP race and he is the odds favorite.

But recently, Jokic and Giannis is doing good numbers statistically and bringing their team to a win why the Sixers, even with Harden is losing games right now. But for sure it will be a close fight for the MVP between the 3.
Gobert was interviewed and said if it was making the team better it was all Nikola Jokic. He approves about him being MVP which I think is right. It's the value of a  player that matter and he had been lifting the Nuggets when Murray and MPJ was injured. They have Gordon yes, but the Joker had always been the center of their everything. He even made a new record that was not done since the start of the league. That should be a big plus to consider if ever the voting system will have the higher percentage to win.
1045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins To 10-100x This Year on: April 08, 2022, 08:19:14 AM
They do those streams to boost the potential of what you are expecting. 10x. Why? Because they are also a part of it, investors to be precise.
I like streamers who are honest about it. Like I found one gamer/youtube vlogger who tells how much money he puts in one game/project and even at small amounts he would still try to hype it with correct details and features of the said platform.
There are those who are just paid, I don't like that and it's obvious when they discuss it. A lot of altcoins that are in progress may be a gem that just needs polishing, but you will need to risk the money first.
1046  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which rookie candidate will make a better trader and quickly too? on: April 07, 2022, 07:03:50 PM
There are successful traders who did it themselves so I guess there's no right answer here.
With the broad amount of tools in the internet it is not that hard to learn trading anymore. I have seen younger guys who managed to make profits out of learning in watching streams and reading articles.
If there's someone to teach, it will depend on both listener and how good the teacher is. Not all have the patience to answer foolish questions from a beginner.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 07, 2022, 05:52:20 PM
Yet another super ugly loss by the Chicago Bulls, I just don’t understand why these guys simply can’t beat any good teams at all. Thankfully they haven’t lost even more games or they’d be in the unfortunate position of having to face off versus either the play-in teams like the Nets might be or fall so far they’d have to face one of the very top teams in the east (Philadelphia 76rs, Milwaukee Bucks etc). I still have little faith they can do anything else other than maybe win one series, no way they can win two.
They were hit by injuries. That's one reason I could see into why they keep on losing against strong teams. If it ain't Lonzo, it will LaVine or Caruso.
There is no consistency with their roster and I bet that's what makes them weaker. DeRozan cannot shoulder everything and LaVine should be back on the energetic type of a player.
7 points in 27 minutes is not a good number. Lack of roleplayers could also be their difference with other teams. If their stars sits, it gets uglier.
1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful around massive APY projects on: April 07, 2022, 02:21:02 PM
In simple terms, "too good to be true".
When a project is like that, that's a no go to me. It may be an obvious scam or they are trying a click bait system to get investors and just realize the truth once you are invested in it and no way to back out.
I'd rather take the long road of little amounts of annual profits but more secured rather than that. Or, just stick with Bitcoin. No returns, do it yourself platform if you want to make profits in different ways.
1049  Economy / Speculation / Re: Billionaire Says Bitcoin May Significantly Exceed Its Previous 2022 Goals on: April 07, 2022, 11:36:04 AM
Someone's trying to copy the other billionaire.  Roll Eyes The only difference is the direction, he wants the path to be on Metaverse and Web3.
The first billionaire focused on Bitcoin and then animals. 4 legged ones. Barks.  Grin

We should not take this seriously for this has purposes. Yes, for their own benefit of course.
Well, I will do the same thing if I have the name, the power, and the money if I want to increase the value of my assets. It's the simple strategy now taking into account the number of people who are using the internet today that may bumped into it. You just did, then shared it which makes it successful.
1050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 06, 2022, 06:40:37 PM
In fact, they accomplished two and the other one was they officially removed the LA Lakers from participating in the play-in tournament. Now that they just have 3 games left to play and the playoffs season is approaching, they can rest a bit and regroup again to practice for the playoffs season.

They have to prepare fully because there are also other top contenders like the Grizzlies and other top teams in the East who's also aiming the very same goal just like them. This will surely an interesting season, and maybe this time CP3 can have his ring.
I hate injuries but it's part of the game. I just wish CP3 will stay healthy until the end of this post season. He is the big key to keep the Suns energy working. I saw him change the pace of the game whenever they are down and boost them back up. Without him the chances will be slimmer for the Suns although I think they can manage as long as whatever CP3 thought them will be used in the floor or mentally.
The Grizzlies is strong built by their long chemistry but I think having a veteran has an upper hand.
1051  Economy / Economics / Re: New Financial Year Begins | Are you ready? on: April 06, 2022, 03:46:26 PM
I didn't know there's such a thing but now I do so Happy Financial New Year to you too.
I am kind of intrigued so I tried to read more about it and a lot of surprises was discovered, mostly in UK.  Wink

My goals? I think what I will do is just the same as the past years. Save as much as I can even with the inflation and try not to run dry when it comes to the needs of everyone in the family. It works so there is not much of a need in changing it. I guess there will be a big change when the kids starts growing and the school opens up again. (physical, not virtual). Because there will be more expenses when that time comes.
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does staking even make any sense on: April 06, 2022, 12:41:57 PM
It's a stablecoin, what do you expect? There is less risk in it as you are secured there is no volatility. It will give a percentage almost near the amount of what they give in banks. I'd just be thankful you received some. That's still 10 percent for a year while banks will give you lesser or worst none.
If you want profits that would surprise you then go for high risk coins. But remember, there's also the possibility it will be gone without any information of why or the return are high in amounts but in less value because of the market change.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 05, 2022, 07:01:47 PM
Trading Westbrook is going to be next to impossible.  They will either have to take on a longer contract for a player some other team doesn't want or package WB with young talent and/or draft capital so that another team will take on Westbrooks contract.  Either way Lakers are in a lose/lose situation.
Certainly. Stats base he is down by a high percentage. His shooting is also unacceptable but he still have the agility to attack the paint which we can still witness up until now. Teams on the lower seeds now will just risk it with the draft for a younger player and not expensive rather than an old one with his contract intact.
A good comparison of a difference is CP3 and WB. Both do not have a championship yet and with high stats on their prime but I think most team owners would pick the former. Even OKC did great when CP3 was inserted in it and even went to the playoffs with no chemistry whatsoever just the leadership.
1054  Economy / Economics / Re: WTF? Food prices expected to raise up to 50% in German supermarket. on: April 05, 2022, 05:51:09 PM
Covid pandemic + shortage of gas = inflation.
An economists would expect it but if an average Joe also knows it then time will just tell when the inflation will begin. It's not just Germany. My damn electric bill is going up every month and I am freaking out.
Our electric usage is the same, it's a routine. It even shows in the graph history of my monthly usage consumption. This is the time. They need the money back and people will pay for what they received for free in 3 years.
1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 05, 2022, 04:20:42 PM
Preparations? That's an interesting question.
I usually keep myself busy at looking for projects that I can invest with during a bear market. Because there is nothing to be done. Idling is also a strategy for making profits. If you just keeps on moving then it invites more risk.
Don't move your coins or join the parade of purchasers coming in which will pile up and may help to create a bull run.
A bear is a time of rest, don't force to make profits out of it, imo.
1056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 05, 2022, 01:21:10 PM
^^ Yeah, I think there is still some revenge in this game and the Warriors wanted to eliminate James for good and not give them any chance this year.

Plus, Klay has found his touch together with Jordan Poole and Draymond is back so this is going to be fun. And it seems that the Lakers are giving up, so the chance of Warriors to win even at double digit handicap is huge.
But we need to see the consistency from Klay Thompson first before we could say his touch is really back just like old times. Against the Suns, he shoot 1/10 from deep and that's the worst I have seen him play. 5/21 field goals in 34 minutes, he is not even helping at all unlike what Curry did when he is off night. He doesn't shoot that much knowing it will be a miss and just became a point guard who facilitates and scrambles the defense of the opposing team with his off the ball movements.
They may have win against the Kings but the struggle is there without Curry running everywhere.
1057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: April 04, 2022, 06:27:12 PM
I'll be glad if the Suns win it this season, no hard feelings as I am a Nuggets fan.  Grin With them having a complete roster and a balanced one they may take it without a doubt. Nuggets however is missing some key factors to be convincing to  win it. Murray is out which plays a big role for the team as the Joker cannot do it all.
Bucks or Suns. That's my bet after after the Nuggets.
Nets was just a trend at the start but Durant and Kyrie cannot really handle everything. Basketball is not a two man team.
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies list for free? on: April 04, 2022, 03:39:59 PM
Dex mostly have free listing like your example Etherdelta and there's Idex but that was way way before, when ERC20 tokens are growing. I think they are not existing anymore.
There was a time when Binance promotes events like free listing if they win a voting. But that was also an old event and I am not updated anymore if they still keep on doing that considering they are already popular unlike those times where the purpose is two birds in one stone while marketing their exchange.
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 04, 2022, 11:35:50 AM
Gordon really stepped up this season, he is now more comfortable with his new team and he is blending very well. Even without Murray, the Nuggets are still a good championship contender, but like in the past playoffs, they should not only rely on Jokic, they have to contribute and show consistency.

Beating the Lakers is easy, but against the Suns, they should consider taking their revenge so they will play harder.
Don't forget Michael Porter Jr. That guy had his moment but just played 9 games this season because of his back injury. I was actually expecting him to be back this post season but according to sports news that might not be the case. Murray and MPJ's return keeps on moving and there's no timeline said of their return. I wish it will be the playoffs when they need every help they could get.
I am glad they took Cousins in because their problem before was Jokic mildly getting to sit and them losing their games because of exhaustion due to lack of good players. He also played a big role for their recent wins.
1060  Economy / Economics / Re: Read If you are between 18 and 68 years old! on: April 04, 2022, 06:31:17 AM
With what the pandemic did, I think they do know how to invest now for long term preparing when they lose their jobs or they get old.
Somehow, it made us learn some lessons. That's one of the good side of that widespread sickness and giving more time to families who now works from home.
The frightening part is where will you put it. With so many options out there and cryptocurrencies being in the front of it, victims of being scammed is a high possibility. This is why I appreciate those who make video lessons for free. The help we could offer for them is finish their ads and be shared.
