Magsayo is coming off from a big lost against Rey Vargas and the same with Figueroa against Fulton. So they really need to win here to get back on track to become another wold champion. Figueroa is a volume puncher and the work rate is amazing but the question now going into this fight against Magsayo is if he could bring that work rate and power to the Featherweight division which is the natural weight of Magsayo, that's what makes this fight 50-50 for me. As we can see on the last fights of Figueroa, he is a slow starter so i think Magsayo should exploit this weakness and attack early to get the KO or at least filed up points so that if this will go the distance, he could win by decision. |

If that run from Magnolia manage to snatch the game from TNT then It will be a big concern especially with the coaching side, that's a huge lead that they will again blownout, not a considerable outcome after the last defeat from NLEX, though they manage to secure the win after making therir own run and gain back that comfortable lead.
Magnolia now is in need of wins, twice in a row and almost but didn't complete the comeback.
Probably TNT learned their lesson and focused more on their mistakes to prevent another big come back from their opponent, its good that they still get the win despite of the run of Magnolia. Magnolia on a 0-2 run is quiet unusual because for the past conference, they are one of the top teams to lead the standing but now they are struggling a lot. If they want to advance to the next round they should start addressing this problem now. Magnolia being on a 0-2 hole at the moment is not a cause for panic because they have been in this the same situation many times and before you know it, they are in the top of the standings at the end of the eliminations. It's just that they encountered first a strong opponent in Converge and TNT. They are now the weakest of the SMB teams and rumors had it that Mo Tautoa will be heading to the Hotshots to reinforce the team hehe. I won my first game bet, I got a live bet Phoenix ML when they are down, the odds is 2.00 and I'm happy for it. Now, going to the 2nd game, I think I'm now tempted with the odds of ROS, they are still winless, so I'm expecting that they will play harder to beat the undefeated converge team.
If you are to bet now for ROS at the end of the first half, the odds ML is @4.30, attractive odds and Converge only leads by 4 points. The Elasto Painters are very much still in this game because like you said that they will play hard as they are chasing that elusive win. Jonathan Simmons is an explosive import but Hudson got more support from the locals so i think NLEX will be having a hard time winning this game, as of this writing TNT is up 11 points but still a lot of time remaining, 16 minutes to play to be exact and i'm taking now NLEX +9.5 @1.76. Hope Simmons will continue to explode in the fourth and make this a close one.
Congratulations, that 4th quarter big run give you a win, not only that they cover that +9.5 but they win the game. they only need one quarter to beat the TNT because TNT has been dominating the 1st 3 quarters, nice game it was a very close one but the import of TNT has become predictable in the 4th quarter. That huge 4th quarter run of NLEX changes the directions of the game, I'm pretty sure most are shock especially those who pick TNT's handicap, I don't expect that with that rally there's no time out that take place, not sure what happen with TNT's squad allowing NLEX to cut that decent lead and snatch this game away from them. TNT is one of those team who are good in protecting decent lead, like what you mentioned the import become predictable and NLEX take that advantage to rally back and complete the win.. TNT's field goal percentage in the first six minutes of the fourth quarter was very low, missed some point blank shots and even missed couple of free throws which stopped them from pulling away in the ball game instead the NLEX Road Warriors catches up on them but they played lousy fourth quarter as well but it's just the breaks of the game favors the Road Warriors. Damn, the ML odds when the Katropa was up by 11 points was NLEX @4.30, should have put some few dollars on that one but i'm not of a risk taker guy hehe but at least i won on this game with that +9.5 HC. |

I want Magsayo to win but as always, I am not convinced by his skills and stamina. Magsayo is just like Deontay Wilder, low-skilled and relied on their power punches to land hoping their opponents can't take it. So just like when I voted for Vargas earlier to beat Magsayo, I think Figueroa stops Magsayo this time. This fight might be a war if Figueroa decides to brawl. Although Magsayo is probably the bigger guy and Brandon might not be able to take heavy punches in his new division. May the best man win.
Lol, that's a bit sarcastic bro but i definitely agree with the bolded text above. Magsayo has always had problems with his stamina, have observed that when he was still with the defunct ALA stable but in fairness to him, he has improved a little with this department but he can't be with the big boys if he always gassed out in the championship rounds. Just realized that Figueroa and Magsayo have a common opponent in Ceja which if we gauge that one, Figueroa has the advantage as he almost won on that one while Magsayo won by KO but Ceja was leading in the score card which makes me think that it was just a lucky punch that made him won that match. Being a compatriot of Magsayo i hope that he could land those heavy blows to do some damage to Figueroa and won by knockout as this is the only way for him to win and become a two time world champion. |

TNT and NLEX are now playing, I had TNT -3 in this game, it's the battle of undefeated teams but I believe TNT is the better team, so let's see if this bet will win. This is going to be a good match as they are #2 and #3 overall ranking for featherweight division and both are #1 in their country both is a great fighter and honestly I am not sure win who's gonna win in this match. Converged improved in both ends, they are a good challenger last year but they failed to move up to the semis, right now they keep showing good improvements and they are really doing well in building good chemistry, the import is being well supported by the locals and that's one of the good thing, they are not relying they are working as one.
On the other end, Mags' next assignment is another great team. TNT might have some internal issue, but I'm sure they are all pro and they can work it out.
I'm shock to see Converge on the top of the standing but the way they played the game, they prove that they deserve to be on that spot. They are more consistent now but its too early to say because for sure no teams here are safe from any losses. Magnolia vs TNT will be another exciting game, I expect for Magnolia to bounce back but with TNT I think it will not be an easy game for them, they have to play their best strategy here and avoid the lose ball. I don't want to be pessimistic but Converge is just in the usual trend, winning in the early games of the elimination then get suddenly kicked out of the playoffs by SMC or MVP teams but still i'm hoping that it will not be the way this time around and it is good for us bettors since games in the PBA will be unpredictable and underdog teams can win anytime. Any news on Berto Bolick guys? Have read that his stint in Taiwan will materialized as NorthPort and him can't agree in a contract. |

We have now the second game which i think a blow-out win by SMB as they lead by a big 29 points at the end of the first half.
No ML market so far in the bookies that i'm looking right now but the spread is 25 which i think is very high but i do think that SMB will cover this one as they are playing with high confidence at the moment.

I believe Bivol would win if the fight will happen. I saw the weakness of Beterbiev in this fight, it's just unfortunate that Yarde was not able to capitalize on his advantage, if he was good, then most likely Beterbiev will struggle due to a big cut above his eye. I know that Beterbiev has powerful punches, but I believe in terms of strategy, Bivol has the edge.
Beterbiev have slowed down maybe because of his age but the power is still there, no doubt about that but against Bivol who is so very disciplined on his defense i think he may struggle but let us see if the unification will happen because as what they said in boxing that "you have a very good game plan but that will change once you will be hit with power punches". The good thing about on Beterbiev's promoter is that they were already saying and hoping that Bivol's promoter will sit down with them to discuss this huge fight in the LHW division that all of us is wanting to see while they are still in their prime. BTW, congrats to those who bet that this will end via KO on round 8. |

Very close weight a 1/4 difference and I think this weight are very recommended to Beterbiev as we all know that this is suit for him and for Yarde he must control himself and find a way out if Beterbiev have the momentum cause we all know how Beterbiev play in the ring he is unstoppable when the momentum is in him. But I assure that Yarde will make a way to counter and have a good timing for his every punches.
Yup, Beterbiev is unstoppable when he got the momentum but with this fight i'm hoping that Yarde could survive the full twelve rounds as my bet is for Beterbiev to win by decision @5.60. Very risky bet but with us small times, it is the way to go to somehow win big with a small amount. The pressure is more on Yarde because there's already lots of people who are thinking that he can't really make any difference and defeat Artur Beterbiev on the process, but I'd like to see how Yarde will prove himself that he's not someone who is complacent enough because he also got some skills that can give some struggles to the favorite champion. It may be hard for Yarde but the reward are so fruitful to ignore if ever he can upset Beterbiev.
I think the pressure to win is more on Beterviev because most of the fans are rooting for him to win and not just win easily but win via knockout as all his wins were via knockout that is why the odds for Beterviev to win by decision is attractive @5.60 but i don't know if Yarde could withstand the onslaught tomorrow.
