The ML and the spread, of course there's still a good chance as TNT is now the favorites per live betting. TNT read the strategy of ROS very well, allowing him to take the ball and fouling him to bring in the FT line, Mikey Williams and Poguy are really a scoring machine for TNT they both have a good help, together with the rest of the entire squad they mange to win the game, it's a good start for the ROS but local players are the big difference.

If you are only relying that much on your import, it will backfire on you once started to show exhausted, missing shots or making turnover. It's really tough if local players are not really helping.

I don't know the exact details but it seems that TNT's issue with Williams won't end. At every conference, there's always news about Wiliams's sudden change of personality and behavior.

With Jolas Lastimosa as their coach and one of the people who criticized Williams before during its last shown of being a diva, expect that there will be a personal issue between these two.

Nevertheless, I thought that the ROS will get the victory yesterday, but the TNT made a comeback and stealing the victory. Like I said, one game isn't enough for the ROS import to be judged. He exploded for 35 points and 17 rebounds though they lost, but that's a huge jump of performance compare to his first game.

Actually, the most inconsistent of the team is Mikey Williams. He is now playing like a superstar but comes the playoffs, that will not be seen consistently and that will make their team fail again. Of course, they have to stop the drama, let them play and be professionals because this line up is capable of winning a championship again.

Yes the current import now of NLEX will only play for the first 4 games and after that, he will fly to China to play there so maybe at this moment, they are already looking for a replacement import that will replace Simmons after his 4th game. It's a good thing though that the former NBA player shared some good things in our league like how the physicality is and how players are playing is far more than he expected. I don't know, I think his camp choose not to play him as he will be traded soon.

Yes, I was thinking that Meralco will once again dominate their opponent, but DYIP surprise them.
It was a low scoring game but Mcdaniels still able to tally a big production, 29 points and 19 rebounds. I know that their import is good but he also need a support from the locals.

1st game @4:30 PM, we have Converge vs Magnolia ( Converge will be tested here, they are on a winning streak, so let's see)
2nd game @6:45 PM, it's SMB vs Phoenix Super LPG, this is a tough game who are still winless this conference.

I think it was mentioned that NLEX is trying to make him stay but we will see in the near future if they can convince him to stay. He has a stellar performance tonight. I watched him play tonight and I think he is a good match with the locals of NLEX.

Even without Bollick, Northport was able to make the game a close one. Nlex was just able to pull away from Northport mid the fourth quarter. But in the quarters before, Northport was able to stay close to Nlex. I think Northport's import is good but easily distracted and loses focus with the physicality of the game.

Like what I mentioned they will be tested once they will face another top caliber franchise, Gin kings with Brownlee while SMB got a healthier Fajardo and Romeo, something that they need to prepare and make sure that the chemistry among players and coaches are still intact, else, they will not be able to matchup with these two all-star squads.

Too early to judge them, as we need to see them playing with each other, or much better seeing them in the next round and see
who's going to advance to the semis and finals!

If I'm Bollick, I might try my luck overseas and play in the B-league. I mean B-league already gave sign to him that they will get him if he will play there. More money, more experience, more challenging.

Agree with you, Bollick would make a lot of money compared to the amount he would receive even if he will get a max contract. The love of basketball and money should go together because even if you are too loyal in your team in the PBA, you will still be traded when you are less effective.

That's not new already, we've seen plenty of players who are already traded and eventually lose their career.

Robert Bolick is already aware of how big the difference is in terms of salary between playing locally and as an import overseas. However, it's not just the salary but the obligation and responsibility in order to maintain that big contract on foreign teams that are highly expected.

Once a local player considers playing outside the country, there's a low chance for that player to return to the PBA that's why it's not easy for long-time PBA players already to just accept the offer from other countries since there are lots of "what if" here.

What if got injured? What if not playing well? What if the expectations of the scout didn't meet? - might be some thoughts of those PBA players.

Well then, there's a rumor that Bolick is now in Taiwan but Pido Jarencio himself clarifies that it's not true. Who knows though?

2 days to go and Bolick's contract will expire and yet nothing hear from his side. Why it takes too long to decide? Hmmmm...
