1061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets are used for ICO? on: July 04, 2017, 01:16:44 PM
As far as I can see, most of them are using mytherwallet. There are some who are still holding their ICO on exchange though
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ANN] openANX - Real World Application of Decentralized Exchanges on: July 04, 2017, 07:38:45 AM
Congrats on hitting the target, guys. It's great to see this project did so well during ICO. I hope it'll become a huge success in near future.
1063  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of worst decisions do you take when trading? on: July 03, 2017, 05:26:17 PM
I usually hold it for long term but I have invested in some bad ICO in the past and panic selling is another big one I used to do. You have to control your emotions, trying to fight the market will only exhaust you.
1064  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: July 03, 2017, 05:21:58 PM
Cashless society is already here. Most people don't use cash as much as they did before internet boom. I wouldn't want complete cashless society, it gives more power to the bank and government and take it away from people. Do you really want government keeping tracks of everything you buy/sell/own and then sell your information to private corporation who'll abuse it? It's already happening
1065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 main mistakes of Bitcoin newbies on: July 03, 2017, 05:14:08 PM
I think newbies get attracted to bitcoin because they think of it as "get rich quick scheme" but then they lose it all. If you do your research, you can save yourselves lot of headache later on. Every question regarding bitcoin has been answered so newbies shouldn't have any trouble at all.
1066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ReddCoin - The social media coin. on: July 03, 2017, 05:02:42 PM
Reddcoin was great back in the day when it was at 15 sat but then the developer left I think, I haven't checked it ever since.
1067  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is God male or female? on: June 29, 2017, 07:39:45 AM
God doesn't have shape or face, let alone gender. I think best way to describe God would be force but it's not comprehensible by those who are not it. God is everything yet everything is not God.
1068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tipping homeless people with Bitcoin paper wallets on: June 29, 2017, 07:02:16 AM
Homeless man won't have any way to cash it out or even use it. If you choose to donate bitcoin to a homeless person, you should also give them a cellphone too. It's not very realistic at this time. However, it can stop lot of crime against homeless.
1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone Made 100X Profit from Altcoin Investment on: June 29, 2017, 06:55:22 AM
I'm sure people who held ETH for this long easily made 100x profit. It requires lot of patience and you have to forget about your wallet and get on with your life.

1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SKINCOIN - CRYPTOCURRENCY FOR eSPORTS INDUSTRY on: June 28, 2017, 11:51:13 AM
Great looking graphic. I think crypto go hand in hand with eSports. What is the difference between this one and other eSports currency?
1072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex account hacked and all monies traded away, TICKET NUMBER # 273741 on: June 27, 2017, 01:43:55 PM
that sucks. It's not very smart idea to NOT use 2fa when dealing with so much money. I have 2fa set up on every website I use. I hope you get your money back.
1073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: June 27, 2017, 01:40:37 PM
I think biggest concern for average  is hackers. Yes, they can learn to use bitcoin and it's quite easy but keeping your bitcoin protected is not as easy unless you keep it offline. Average individuals who are not tech savvy have hard time. Not to mention MSM constantly smearing bitcoin as some kind of deep web currency doesn't help either. They never tell you other beneficial part of bitcoin.
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay OFFICIAL BITBAY Thread Smart Contracts Decentralized Markets Rolling Peg on: June 26, 2017, 04:57:57 PM
Hey guys, I'm getting "Error! transaction creation failed" when I try to send BitBay to trex from my qt wallet on windows. Anyone know why?

Have you been staking for a while?
One of the flaws of QT wallets is that they create coin piles that create memory bloat over time since every time you stake a coin input, it splits the input in half.
The Client alleviates this as it's the only wallet that organizes coin inputs - so memory bloat is a thing of the past.

If you've been staking for a while with your QT you might not be able to send a large amount of coins all at once to the exchange.
You might have to send in smaller amounts

Maybe adjust your fee as well in the options menu found in settings tab,

I'm trying to send just 200 sat

That could be your issue.
Bitcoin protocol mandates an 'anti-dust' minimum transaction size - all bitcoin clones follow the same principle. I believe every coin has a different minimum tx size.

The typical anti-dust tx size is around 5555 satoshi, and this applies for BitBay as well.

This is in place to hinder users from spamming and therefore clogging the network with small tx sizes.

If you are trying to send a small amount to exchange, try a minimum of 5555 satoshi.

Interesting. I think that might have caused it. I'll have to give it another shot. Thanks
1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy more bitcoin or wait for August 1st? on: June 26, 2017, 04:51:03 PM
buy as it dips. It's preparing for August and you'll see more dump before price corrects. Will it get cheaper in July? no one knows for sure but I think it should.
1076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin sucks! on: June 26, 2017, 04:47:40 PM
It's probably not the best time to accept bitcoin in stores unless you're ready to take the risk...wait for volatility to end. I think lot of buyers wait till price is up before they make a purchase so they don't have to pay as much in bitcoin.
1077  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Bloodbath on: June 26, 2017, 04:44:40 PM
ETH dropped to $0.10, I think that might have caused red alert for investors. Altcoins will follow bitcoin as people panic and sell more. My guess is, it'll dip below 2k before we see another jump to 3k+. Apparently, coinbase is down
