1061  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I only have 200$ per month ! on: December 14, 2017, 08:23:01 AM
Rather than waiting for the moment to see where to put the funds, $200 is already a good amount to convert from fiat to bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency of choice as the case may be. If he had done that just in some few weeks back, without doing anything, there is already a huge percentage increase on the $200.

Who knows one day, it might turn to some big amount also and then the OP will be sure to gladly make use of it to do other things he would wish to.
Yeah, the truth is that the crypto world is going to at least be here for a long time, and with the look of things and the way some coins have been increasing, it is something that can really end up paying off in the long run. Imagine if he had diversified such even some few days back, into BTC, LTC and ETH, there would have been a lot of smiles on his face right now.

$ 200 is not a big deal, but it's a good enough investment. If you can make a deposit of $ 200, you can make a huge profit with the investment.
It is not a big deal at all. I do not know the level of the OP's pocket, but that is some amount worthy to risk and leave in bitcoin for the long run. That would have given him something pretty tangible now if he had invested a long time ago. We do not know the future and he can just try to diversify into some altcoins with some good future.
1062  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Will Change Everything on: December 14, 2017, 07:34:26 AM
Surely indeed bitcoin will change the worlds think of what is economy and what or who is the true movers yes dollar will fade slowly
But only if fix some of the major problem about bitcoin transaction,
Not sure if Dollar is going to fade but at least I know it won't happen without some pretty huge fight. It is good that bitcoin is really getting more established, each and every day and that has been awesome. The lives of those who are in the show now and have been in the show right from the onset have changed a lot and with new elites being created and with transfer of wealth, there would end up being lots of opportunities to go around.
1063  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL bitcoin? why and why not? on: December 12, 2017, 06:41:27 PM
HODL bitcoin? why and why not?
We should HOLD bitcoin rather than to sell even if the market value is already exoensive because as the demand is increasing, chances are high that same thing will happen with Bitcoin's market value so it is exoected to be more expensiv3 in the future and obviously, holding will be advantageous than to sell at this moment.
Holding has really proven to be more effective than selling.  For those who were even having a hard time saving when the traditional system was in place will even have a better reason to even save more now, knowing that we have arrived in a market where things are getting even better and you can save up the little that you have and see it increasing hugely in the future. How better can it be?
1064  Economy / Speculation / Re: Not selling my coins... as futures trading starts in 5 mins on: December 12, 2017, 11:01:54 AM
Futures were opened and the price went from $14,700 to $16,300 in just matter of minutes, i saw huge sell walls of more than 200 bitcoins, and huge buy walls of more than 50 - 100 bitcoins.

The whole market is crazy right now

Been mining since 2013 and will hold my coins. I don't see where the futures will help us other than give us some more legitimatize from the main stream. We will see what happens as they start in 5 mins...

I would not sell anything though, i will keep holding my bitcoins until i see a reasonable price, maybe twenty thousand dollars, or twenty five, i dont have weak hands right now.
The good thing about all this is that the market is already proving extremely strong even before the whole future thing which would make it impossible to try any bullshit or manipulation.

All the above, the future market is totally different and whatever they are doing is for their own pocket, but here in the crypto world, things are different and I am so optimistic that we are heading straight to the moon with the rocket being fast this time around.
1065  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which knowledge is important for crypto trading? on: December 12, 2017, 06:44:29 AM
I already started crypto trading. But i cannot understand how to get profitable in crypto trading. How to understand which coin is the best for buy. I don't know how to become successful in crypto trading. So guys, please tell me which knowledge is important for crypto trading. Thanks...
You better stop trading if you have no idea how to trade or how to read charts, that is not enough to make you a winner but it is necessary if you are ever going to make any money, there are many videos on youtube you can watch and learn from.
The funniest part is that he mentioned all the things necessary to do to be able to trade successfully but does not have the answers to them. I wonder why people have questions and they just find it hard to use those questions to do some research and use the findings to improve their knowledge.

To become successful in crypto trading requires being successful in the learning on how to trade and just like you said, he should better not trade at all without those knowledge. Technical analysis is all that is needed to be learned and that alone can take me as far as he wants to go in trading.
1066  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you trade your crypto currency? on: December 12, 2017, 05:52:04 AM

Want to know how you trade and how it works. Thanks
Op, I don't believe that anybody here will tell you exactly how he or she is trading bitcoin or crypto currency. But the total summary of how trading is done it to buy bitcoin or altcoins when their value is low and sell when their market value appreciate.
It is easy to say like that but even when buying low, you must also be very smart about it. Some lows can just fake to be low and then you may see them having some nice dives. I have noticed that shit with BTC-ETH trading recently and that is one thing I always wait and look forward to before taking note of the two bottoms and then looking for a best time to get in.
1067  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Want to invest £10,000 on: December 09, 2017, 08:17:26 PM
Don't know about SALT but ETH is looking solid.
Etherum looks really solid, but the future pump is unpredictable. Bitcoin costs a lot and a little percent can change the price a lot. People are saying that soon bitcoin will reach 15000$ and you can be in actually huge pluse in sooner time.
Honestly, I would not want to put all my coins in just only Altcoin and I am surprised the OP never even mentioned Bitcoin. As far as I am concerned that should always be the first priority. ETH is good and now is even a good time to buy at the present correction. Support is good for it and in a short while he should get some pretty good value increase on the coin.

There are so many coins out there and the best is to just stick with the ones already with a huge market cap and I will not rule out XMR from this most especially.
1068  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Amazon accepting Bitcoin - What can go wrong? on: December 09, 2017, 05:48:12 PM
I think Op is right about the numbers per transaction with amazon members this would totally be a day to two waiting time and that is bad impression to bitcoin.. Maybe Amazon accepting cryptocurrency is much buyable,, so everyone can make many choices to divide this kind of problem or it’s better Amazon will start to planned for an altcoin to be made or support because with they’re popularity that would be successful and many would invest..
Yes, Amazon has a pretty big market and the number of transactions going on every day is huge which is why bitcoin still have some pretty good development to make before then. Things would change, segwit has been on and even though it is not being used that much, time will make it change.

I am really looking forward now to seeing the LN deployed because that is the only way this can work and it is really long overdue.
1069  Economy / Marketplace / Re: LOOKING TO INVEST MY LIFE SAVINGS NEED ADVICE on: December 09, 2017, 01:37:04 PM
Just invest it in crypto, but generally stick to those that are real like bitcoins, ethereum and the like. Don't go spending it on scammy ones that come and go. Stop looking at those fly by night ICOs. Do your due diligence before you even send your life's savings and you lose on that investment. Right now it's pretty hard to determine which investments are pretty good from those shitty ones so just be extremely careful.
There are so many alts that are undervalued right now and only if people can do some research to find them. Waves is one of them and in a short while I won’t be surprised if it ends up having the same boost Ethereum had this year in coming years. Not just waves, there are so many alts and even upcoming ICOs and it is all about being smart.

Like someone rightly tells me, you do not have to work hard; you just have to work smart. I would not consider investing life savings into being smart though as you also have to consider all the risks involved.

I would have to agree its not just those huge altcoins that has the potential, you gotta have the time to research each of them. If you can pick the ones with better project and team, you can exponentially profit than you thought. If I have the money, I probably would buy the cheapest ones but have the best technology. Some of them might just be ADA which I already have some, IOTA and EIDOO a good wallet with their exchange.
IOTA has really been a coin I have always looked forward to it getting huge in the future and so far it has really blown far beyond what I have been expecting and it is still growing. That is one way to invest into a coin with prospect and hope for the best.

Not all coin will survive but there are just some coins that you should not just miss investing in them for the long run. I am having a really good time with IOTA now, after taking the opportunity to buy so much at the dip.
1070  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will crash one day? on: December 09, 2017, 11:43:52 AM
Do you think Bitcoin will crash one day?
Did you think back in 2009 that bitcoin would be over $16, 000 today ? I guess not. No one would know if BTC would crash one day or not, but at least we are still here. I really do not see anything that would make bitcoin crash anyway and a lot of people as so much as they are wishing for it, which is one of the reasons it won't crash.

Right now, I do not see panic selling in the market anymore and all I see is panic buying. FOMOs everywhere looking for the best price and not wanting to miss it. Tell me how something like that can easily crash.
1071  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just in! $16000 in PH on: December 09, 2017, 04:08:26 AM
The title says it all. We are now at $16156.02 here in the Philippines and I think we're the one who hit it first more than any other country(correct me if i'm wrong). As of now our price is ahead of more than $500 in bitcoinaverage in bitstamp.

$20k is still possible this year.

Yea this is pretty amazing. I would not have predicted $16,000 this year for Bitcoin. It’s definitely getting pumped right now most likely due to the upcoming futures market and potential Nasdaq funds.

This ride could take Bitcoin to $20,000 this year at the rate it’s going now. It seems that people are shifting their money from the altcoins to Bitcoin right now.
I would not have either. The thing is that most of us even expected bitcoin to hit the level of $15k before December ending and December is just starting and we have crossed that line already. Also, the rate of movement is becoming crazy and I sure do really hope it is going to be sustained in the long run. As I am seeing with the corrections now though, there is a real huge hope.

I really do not understand what is driving those bithumb guys and they just keep kicking it up like they just don't care. I am scared though and I really hope this would not resort to a huge massive correction, but anything right now is possible with the value and the level at which it keeps rising every single moment without any apology.
1072  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't be late for the crash - you only get so many warnings on: December 08, 2017, 07:59:16 PM
is it just me or does everyone these days create such topics for later on so that they could say "i told you so" in case a crash or even a drop happened.
i mean if you look around everywhere is filled with people saying practically the same thing and the funny part about their warnings is that they are not even selling their own bitcoins and they are holding it tight!

however we all know that even a blind man can see a correction that will definitely happen very soon. and corrections at times like this are known to be dramatic and people always over-react to them by panic selling.
Most definitely and everyone should expect that in the long run anyway. How long this is going to keep up for now is unknown and the reason behind why the huge rise in value is happening is also unknown and crazy at the same time.

The Korean market is just getting crazier and sillier by the day. However, there is no need creating FUDs around it as this in itself would even cause new investors to panic when the correction starts happening. It does not even make any sense at all. I would rather buy in the huge correction anyway. Old times thought me that.
1073  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 1 Year in Cryptocurrency still no luck earning bitcoin. Need some real advice. on: December 08, 2017, 07:15:25 PM
i think you do not how to do trading and you dont know what is this crypto currency. 1 year is enough and i know some people who have made many btc even in 6,7 months and their investment is good. i will suggest you to invest in currencies like DeepOnion , monero, zcash because their price is going to 100× soon.. they are really dominating the market and they will return you much btc
He does not even have to trade. There are so many opportunities that one could lay hands on to do to earn some good bucks asides trading.

In fact, for someone like the OP, I am not sure he would be serious enough to even want to thread the trading line; otherwise it won’t be that he did not earn bitcoin but even ended up losing more. It is not about luck, it is about hard work and being smart and anyone who is not ready to be those two things, then, they aren't ready for life at all.
1074  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will happen with the BTC, if the dollar falls on: December 08, 2017, 05:06:14 PM
bitcoin prices are not affected by dollar prices, even if the dollar price falls, bitcoin prices will stay that way, will not change.
Yes, if dollars are shutting down, peoples will try to find some or the other profitable currency and nothing is better than bitcoin for investment. more and more peoples will try to invest in bitcoins at that situation and the prices for bitcoins will go much more above. Also dollars are spread over huge places like United States of America, Africa, North America, Etc. Also the global market depends a lot of dollars.
1075  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin - new Business Opportunities on: December 08, 2017, 12:33:08 PM
Business opportunities for bitcoin is much bigger, because the upcoming generations will be completely functional on digital platform. Whether it's something related to technology or some other form of usage doesn't matter. Next is the profit expectations, for one to be successful in business its good to add bitcoin as an platform to the conventional way of business.
Bitcoin as one of the ways of business opportunities has a great future ahead. And the next generations will enjoy it digitally as long as they will try to learn all of it's possibilities and all the knowledge needed to be learned in bitcoin. It will have a great potential ahead of time. The profit, the services, the earnings. It will all be a sucess.
It will be definitely a success if the new generations will adopt this kind of opportunity for their source of extra income. Bitcoin for sure will have a great and big success to everyone. Bitcoin already prove a lot to us, so for sure in the future it will increase more opportunity for all of us.
Some of the startups for bitcoins are getting out to be scam, but that does not indicate that we should stop trusting bitcoins. If we could afford to startup a huge project with really Innovative concept then for sure we will have good profits in bitcoins. Bitcoins are not yet known globally to each and every individual and we should try to startup a business where each and every individual can start making profits with bitcoins.
1076  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do people actually buy coins with real life money? on: December 08, 2017, 10:17:02 AM
yes, that is how everyone started isnt it. I know of people who invest regularly with their savings, just like regular savings plan. also people who invested with real cash, when prices rise, take out capital and just let the profit roll. with so many coins around, only invest in those with good tract records though.
Not everyone started using fiat money to have bitcoins. I for example, started with no capital at all. I didn't even invest my money to bitcoins. I just started by joining bounty campaigns here on this forum and then I just convert those tokens into bitcoins. That's how I got my bitcoins.  Smiley
Yeah, so many people started on freelance websites, and most people on this forum had to earn it. The good thing about the idea of earning though is that if you have good skills, you can be earning a lot passively, and if you have other jobs you do offline to earn and you save most of your bitcoin, you had be surprised how much you would end up being worth at the end.

Still, that does not mean people are still not buying with fiat but with respect to @ngelcryptopia, not everyone started out buying immediately.
1077  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading vs holding on: December 08, 2017, 08:45:21 AM
Doing both of them are better than only do one thing. You could earn profits from both of them and they are all the best way to earn Bitcoins.
Since I started trading some percentage of my earnings and everything I hold; I have been able to increase my number of bitcoins in a short while. That is the essence; holding will not do that but can only get the value to keep increasing. However, with trading, as you are having an increase in the value, you are also having an increase in the quantity which to me sounds a lot better. All that is required is learning and no one is above or below that.
1078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose the right ICO? on: December 07, 2017, 07:03:18 PM
Its just a team of the ICO's the whole part of the ico it will depends on them because the leadership must do better to have a succes campaign if the team not do teamwork for their company it will last and not succes and the participants maybe lost they gave their better and it will lost the succes of ICO depends on the team to manage it.
Yeah, if the leadership is zero, then the project is zero. I have seen so many projects that looked promising, gave good road map, and gave beautiful ideas and what happened at the end? They ended up a scam, dead or even at some point abandoned by the dev to its own fate.

The leadership and the team will always want to keep their reputations in check and would make sure they give investors the platform to make lot of bucks from believing in them enough to invest in the first place.
1079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE vs Bitcoin. What will banks do? on: December 07, 2017, 04:07:23 PM
I was thinking, due to the exploding stock price of bitcoin, what will the banks do with there coin; ripple? In my perspective, they will do verything in there power to get a large piece of the pie. So they have two options:
- manipulate media and price of bitcoin
- drive the price of ripple to the moon.

If you want to make money on ripple, this is the moment.

What do you think?
I can really imagine what it is going to be like for ripple since it is the banker’s coin anyway and in the process of bankers really seeing how they can get their hands on this coin, it would really shoot the price pass the moon. That does not change the fact that it is still going to be a centralized coin, but anything for the profit at this moment. However, it is good not to expect so much from something that is controlled.

there's even no doubt. Because ripple is the perfect currency for banks, but the bitcoin with its transactions that go for 2 days and commission fees are not suitable for banks
It may be a perfect currency for the banks but not because of the commission fees but because of the fact that it is centralized. I still believe this coin is hyped and overvalued, so I would not really want to bet my 50cents on it. There are so many other projects that would do that for me in the long run, so it just seems better to stay away from a coin that is going to be manipulated in the long run than try to gamble cause of the profit.
1080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me I'm wrong: Does cryptokitties expose the weaknesses of ETH? on: December 07, 2017, 03:26:57 PM
Yes definitely. Prior people were happy about how this shows potential usage for the ETH network beyond ICOs and they were correct...but only if it can handle the volume and transactions. Clearly the ETH network needs some work but the potential is still there which should be encouraging.
The potential is always going to be there and what has happened is really here to answer a lot of people's question about increasing block size to be the best scaling issue. Now they have it with Ethereum and despite that, the network still got flooded with so many huge transactions trying to go all in at once, including the spam ones.

The game really helped in a way to expose this to people so they can understand better but I do not think that should affect Eth in anyway. People really just need a lot to learn about block sizes and why the scream about BCH not being a better option to BTC is correct.
