Quote
Down dropt the breeze, the sails dropt down,
'Twas sad as sad could be;
And we did speak only to break
The silence of the sea!

All in a hot and copper sky,
The bloody Sun, at noon,
Right up above the mast did stand,
No bigger than the Moon.

Day after day, day after day,
We stuck, nor breath nor motion;
As idle as a painted ship
Upon a painted ocean.

Water, water, every where,
And all the boards did shrink;
Water, water, every where,
Nor any drop to drink.

Nice one

Alliance took out my best accumulator.

Still had a few small wins.
1066  Economy / Speculation / Re: Globb0 BTC charts on: June 15, 2020, 01:27:03 PM
Well see what I mean, we went nowhere really, we are stuck in the dead range

Grind out a floor and lets build from there
1067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: June 15, 2020, 11:26:04 AM
Like in martingale the longer its there the longer its a risk.

In martingale, you have same risk with every bet (and this risk is not worth reward). No matter if you just started or just placing millionth bet.

Id love to see a lot more figures and over varying timescales and really understand these numbers.

They don't need to for nothing, some reason is there. I guess they take profit no matter what but backers take the hits.

Yolodice share its data.

https://yolodice.com/#stats/investor

As we can see in short term we can see dumps (whale wins) but in long term there is only profit. I suggest everyone to not gamble with this investment (because that's what avoiding whales is). Just put your money in and check once a week if there are no scam accusations (exit scam alerts). And whale is only a person. He can win but he can loss too.

Thanks for that link

So interestingly 2BTC is about 1% of the backing and the return would look like 0.1BTC from past 2 months, If I interpreted that correctly. That's the recent story.

I just delved deeper and found these 3 examples. All 6 months long so more useful data on the longer term potential.

Looks like they started all 3 with 10 BTC balance, 6 months = about 12% apparently
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: June 15, 2020, 09:00:01 AM
Looking at your profits I feel that I should have invested instead of trading with my coins.

I have to somehow cut on my expenses and start saving up and investing some of my campaign profits especially since this is so easy for someone who's already in a campaign.
The only thing standing between me and more profits is the need to spend some every month Wink

Hindsight is 20/20  Cheesy

It looks like the investment is running good, but just like trading you can have a bad day at investments also.
A whale could come in, have a lucky day and have some good winnings to put a dent in his investment....

Like in martingale the longer its there the longer its a risk.

Id love to see a lot more figures and over varying timescales and really understand these numbers.

1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 14, 2020, 08:58:08 AM
It says in the story Tottenham also lost a friendly to a bottom side.

I'm excited for the start. Looks there like there will be games on sky (advertising around the story), I wonder what package will be needed. Cos I thought it was going to be on terrestrial TV to stop people congregating?

I had talks with sportsbet, they weren't too interested plus their software sucks big time indeed...

Also couldn't join this from the uk. Redirects to a no poker version. I don't know what other countries are affected.

Exactly I pooped nothing. But I did notice we are stuck in a range we have all discussed is irrelevant.

Waiting to see where we go.

1074  Economy / Speculation / Re: Globb0 BTC charts on: June 12, 2020, 02:25:30 PM
We can say goodbye to my nice fun up to 10k trendline. Awesome thanks for the taste of over 10k on the daily close.

Now we are stuck in our boring channel. Lets hope not too much cold feet happens.

1077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 11, 2020, 12:25:00 PM
Interesting discussions. We said that was weird the Newcastle thing never quite getting closed out.

Cant wait for things to get restarted.

I'm excited for the total reset we have had. You know you didn't do something you love in ages. Whatever it is its extra nice.

I bet there will be some amazing games as players release all their pent up aggression and eagerness to just play.

I'm also wondering how much the reset will level the playing field so to speak.

It might be about which teams can adapt quickest to the new rules and ways.

Let hope things like this last minute match cancellation don't  come along and ruin it for us all.
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: June 11, 2020, 09:35:12 AM

1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Series format discussion - Let's keep them all in one place. on: June 11, 2020, 09:26:35 AM
I don't think it has to be linear.

Keep your top places valuable. Below a certain point just give 1 point to the rest.

Might also generate some action mid table, because people might have to play to get safe.
1080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: June 10, 2020, 11:35:06 AM
Grinding up slowly.

Not much dota again today,

Secret v Nigma

OG v Alliance

Have an accumulator on it.

More in CSGO but I don't know many of the teams.
