1061  Other / Meta / Re: Hero account Integ was hacked on: May 04, 2017, 01:11:38 PM
And now, more than a month of silence of moderators (mainly talking about Cyrus) is enough.
My issue has been resolved, but it decided under pressure from the public forum.
April 14 the buyer of the account was contacted to me and explained the situation.
The account he bought from well-known rogue Pelk for 0,03 BTC, of course, not making sure the rights of the latter on account.
April 15, the buyer gave me back access to my account, but unfortunately, he managed to destroy all my personal correspondence (at least in the restoration of this property administration may help?).
Thanks to everyone who took part in the defense of my rights and ask those who have left negative trust on my account, delete it.
I repeat last request - those who have left negative trust on my account, delete it.
Signature and avatar restored. The posts that I not wrote removed.
But unfortunately, personal messages was removed, they contained very valuable information for me...
I've removed my feedback. Glad you got your account back!  And feedback has been added for Pelk.
1062  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary one day? on: May 03, 2017, 10:05:30 PM

I would like to know If there is a list which displays legendary members, where the number of their posts matches their activity number.

Or in short: does the list of legendary members which are not keyboard warriors exist. Grin

Does anybody here have a number how many are them? Till now, through the forum I noticed at least two of them.

Thanks.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=mlist;sa=search
Uncheck everything except "Search by Position" and then type in "Legendary" and hit search.

I believe there are roughly 1,360 legendary accounts.

I am still surprised I even got the JALAPENO unit from them, I was sure I was going to get nothing, I got it just in time to make 4-5BTC (Slushpool) at the time too.

What was once touted a coffee cup warmer, your precious Jalapeņo could now be upcycled to a portable pocket pussy, rebranded as a Pepper Belle. Simply drill an appropriately sized hole, surround it with fresh-cut organic cilantro and mint, connect some vibrating servos, and you're mamma mia! golden.

The Jalapussy is born, size of hole depends on how many coins you send. Available in 2 weeks. Send me BTC!  Cheesy

Can the servos be over-clocked? Any color besides black, not that there's anything wrong with that? What flavor mint will you be adding?

Funnies aside, I'm seriously guessing that this is business model worth tapping (no pun intended) - the selling of kits to convert ones' favorite archaic computer hardware, newly designed to satisfy those with chronic hard-ons.

"Cilantro and mint foliage. That's what I was missing. This dude's a genius!"
FTFY - I removed the "l" in "over-clocked" in case my hilarious joke isn't obvious   Tongue

There is certainly a market for old mining devices to be reused as something. I'm not sure a personal masturbator is one of them, but I'm sure someone out there is brainstorming ideas as we speak.
1064  Other / Meta / Re: PARTIAL ANSWER TO THE SIGNATURE SPAM PROBLEM !!! on: May 03, 2017, 08:15:23 PM
DT Users could start tagging spammers but for a serious spam cleanup this type of moderation would have to happen on a higher level, from moderators. Tagging them at least removes their profit potential from most campaigns and would probably "burn" the account enough for them to stop using it. But I don't believe this is what the trust system is meant to be used for. I would report more spam posts if I could but my time is usually limited and I try to use it wisely... I'd spend more than half my time reporting posts and wouldn't have time to look or do much else.   Huh
I have been tagging people who were either:
1) Selling accounts (retracted most of those).
2) Heavily account farming (once exposed via reasonable proof).
3) Abusing signature campaigns or SMAS in any way.

That said, your thinking aligns pretty much with mine. However, the last time a few people got tagged for this, there was strong opposition from shorena & Quickseller. I'll let you guess why. Roll Eyes

I usually can't find enough proof to bring myself to tag anyone for those 3 things, how do you determine abuse of a signature campaign?  Most of the posts I see can be considered "on topic" but are utterly useless posts or just repetitions of some other post in the thread, same content, different words. In my mind it is a tough thing for a DT user to come up with real proof or justification for leaving feedback. I believe moderators/admins have a better shot at mitigating it because they probably have more insight but I'm sure there is a good amount of work and time involved for them as well.... but aren't they the ones getting paid?   Grin

Just put multiple captcha codes on every post, then you'd have to be really determined to post something.  Cheesy

1068  Other / Meta / Re: Someone hacked into bitcointalk.org and got email addresses on: May 02, 2017, 05:33:04 PM
Wouldn't this just be from the prior database hack, nothing new, just someone trying to use the data... I never put any real e-mail into BTCTalk until somewhat recently - maybe sometime in Jan/Feb this year, I did so to try and conform to the new forum but my e-mail was never in the database that was hacked, and I have not received this phishing e-mail that everyone else seems to be getting. I feel a little left out  Angry
1069  Other / Meta / Re: Email notification not working? on: May 01, 2017, 07:41:55 PM

It's a SPF problem, a misconfiguration at bitcointalk
Any mailserver will reject this emails if SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is enabled

current bitcointalk configuration:
v=spf1 mx a include:amazonses.com -all

But last attempts in my mail.log from:
ec2-52-45-214-107.compute-1.amazonaws.com

this does not match -> REJECT

May  1 14:30:25 mail1 policyd-spf[19143]: Fail; identity=helo; client-ip=52.45.214.107; helo=[Suspicious link removed]; receiver=xxx@xxx.xx
May  1 14:30:25 mail1 postfix/smtpd[19133]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from ec2-52-45-214-107.compute-1.amazonaws.com[52.45.214.107]: 550 5.7.1 <xxx@xxx.xx>: Recipient address rejected: Message rejected due to: SPF fail - not authorized

The domain name itself has nothing to do with the "include=" of the SPF record. Including amazonses.com just authorizes anything covered in the SPF/MX records of amazonses.com as being authorized, not the domain itself. The fact that it's coming from a server with amazonaws.com makes no difference as it is more about the IP address it's coming from.

The same IP address your listing in your SPF fail was passed by Gmail's SPF check not too long (April 20th is the last time I saw a message pass) my first SPF failure happened on the 27th but I don't have any messages to look at between those dates.

SPF's are failing for this IP as of right now but to my knowledge Amazon has only ever required including the amazonses.com in the SPF record to pull in those servers. (http://docs.aws.amazon.com/ses/latest/DeveloperGuide/spf.html)

Based on the dates, my only guess might be that theymos modified or removed an A record when dealing with recent DDoS issues here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1880126.msg18689262#msg18689262

And that maybe it included the IP that is now failing the SPF check?  52.45.214.107

1071  Economy / Reputation / Re: Removal of escrow.ms? Update: Recommend users for DT 2, as escrow.ms is removed on: April 28, 2017, 06:49:17 PM
If you were in my place and suffered even half of what I had you would have commited suicide you little piece of shit.
If you'll point a finger on me, I'll break it and shove it in your ass because I've asked you politely once.
Oh by the way Lauda means dick. So fuck off.
It's a shock somebody like you used to be DT1.

Nothing shocking here. Assuming everything escrow.ms is saying is true, which I don't know if it is at this point, I could certainly understand the reaction.
1072  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: NastyMining Green Energy Project on: April 27, 2017, 08:34:13 PM
There is no way a plug can monitor production.

Sure there is.  Any regular kill-a-watt meter will do it.

News to me.

My utility meter outside shows energy flowing out of the grid and energy flowing into the grid separately. But it is unaware of energy being consumed as it it being generated.
The SunPower meter knows because of configuration being middle man between solar panels, grid and relay panel.

I've used kill-a-watt's before to measure energy consumption, it just measures the flow passing between the outlet & the device(s).

I'll have to do some testing once I get a wind turbine up and running, but I am hoping that a typical smart outlet will be capable of tracking the energy production from an inverter.  As shown in the previously linked video, it is easy to monitor using a kill-a-watt (and there are even wifi hacks available), but I want an out of the box wifi enabled monitoring solution with elegant built-in tracking software.

I've seen the xbee hack before using a rpi... Kill-a-watt makes a wifi model out of the box but it's not elegant and probably only works out of the box with its own display/receiver and likely has minimal tracking, I doubt it is anything you could pull the data from remotely if that is what your trying to do?  I believe placing the device after the inverter should effectively monitor "production" in the sense that it is monitoring the energy coming out of the inverter

TED 5000C and eMonitor are some others you might want to look at
and "The Owl" might be another manufacturer to look at.

I'd be curious why barrysty1e agreed to repay/refund BTC?  If he had a working client, why offer to refund the majority back?

Is there any proof of him agreeing to pay back .2BTC?

You probably can't say much, but the trial should be interesting. If you are truly innocent and got caught up in the wrong crowd, I wish you the best.
Considering he is in India, you know it's easy to get away with such issues.Court and stuff is bullshit, money rules the courts around here.If escrow.ms bribes a few officers involved in the case, they'd burn the documents and won't leave any traces. And if he use even the smallest political powers ,even better,he'd be out on bail within seconds.Welcome to democracy.

That's a fair point, I'm not entirely familiar with the legal system in India so I can't comment one way or the other but there is certainly a different definition of "justice" in some areas around the world. I'm at least doubtful he is going to get that same treatment in this community.
1076  Economy / Reputation / Re: Removal of escrow.ms? Update: Recommend users for DT 2, as escrow.ms is removed on: April 26, 2017, 02:40:52 PM
I've been here from last 4-5 Years and You can not find a single person who can say I took a penny from him. I've done my deals honestly and was doing my business that's it. It's a funny world where you are guilty until proven innocent. Personally I don't give a fuck about what people say behind my back but if you really want to make a opinion of me in your head, You should talk to me first. Because All those news you've read is not true.

When I read things like:
"Bhardwaj revealed to us that Sheikh would procure data related to debit/credit cards through his sources," said DCP (crime) Bhisham Singh. "His associates would clone the cards and withdraw the money and send it to Delhi. Sheikh instructed Bhardwaj to transmit the money to Dubai through the bitcoin route."

and

"The probe revealed that he had handed over the money he received to a person on the basis of code words sent from Mumbai.
Bhardwaj was identified as the receiver."

It seems like you were aware something wasn't right... code words when receiving the funds? And it appears you knew your source was procuring data for cards?  Where did you think he was getting this data???

You probably can't say much, but the trial should be interesting. If you are truly innocent and got caught up in the wrong crowd, I wish you the best.

You hacked secondstrade.com, or just his forum account? What?

Either way, I'm not sure what you want to reach by hacking this account, you're probably not going to get any financial gains out of this, and the admin will just return this account to secondstrade.com.

Furthermore i don't think they really willing to help you with the issues you were having by hacking their accounts?

Can someone tag this account?

Both and lets me tell u something REAL SCAMMERS ARE GAMBLING OWNERS AND IF U SUPPORT THEM U ARE ONE OF THEM.

Quoting for reference.

It sounds to me like the original agreement was to convert the entire psd document into html, did he do this?  What did he provide?

Yes I did. OP refused to pay. Instead decided to open this accusation thread.

Why don't you post all screenshots OP?

You people need a little bit critical thinking. So I am scamming for $15 ? Haha
Listen to all parties involved before taking sides.

Op called me newbie indian coder  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes hahah my sides!  Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy

There still appear to be missing parts of this conversation but, regardless, the OP asked you to provide an HTML version of the PSD. Your screenshots prove that you did not provide this, you provided different versions that were similar looking but nowhere near the same. I have no idea why you have an issue creating this, I assume you just do not know how to use the slice tool in photoshop or are using some type of HTML generator that requires a specific template?

I'm surprised your choosing to break a deal over such a small amount but you are certainly not being professional and it appears to me that you are not providing the work that was agreed to. Based on your original agreement and the screenshots you provided, the OP seems to have a legitimate reason to be upset.
