What is the min. payment amount? I think all payment details are different then the ritten in the pool? I need details

Can be found on the http://zpool.ca mainpage... right up top.  It changes now and then... but not often... its only changed a few times recently because of the major changes in BTC price and market flux.

I am thinking of building a new PC for gaming and mining purposes, what GPU and specs would you guys suggest.

Its subjective.

Buy up to date hardware, but spend what you are comfortable spending.

If you plan to mine with it;  higher tier products/models will be more powerful and reliable...   Don't buy older hardware that will become obsolete.

The pc itself doesn't need to be powerful or high tier;  but you plan to game, so id build around the games/things you wish to do with it otherwise.

I haven't been following dash.... Almost 1k?!??!!

Holy crap.

I'm actually surprised at the ETH price given all of its historical problems, max coin supply, and it's code/reg manipulatability.

neoscrypt is pretty CPU intensive; and everything needs to be double checked poolside, so I totally can see it being an algo that could have issues like this.

I did notice more stability between different apps in the past... so hopefully it can be figured out.
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][HashTap™][FlexFee™][SegWit] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ on: December 13, 2017, 03:10:31 AM
I've been getting pretty regular disconnects from zpool every 10 minutes, and reconnects about 30 seconds later. I'm pretty sure it's affecting my hashrate. Nothing's changed on the rigs and they're not having any issues. I've been watching the screen in person to time it and make sure. Using nemosminer v2.2.2. I've been running a continuous google ping script and logging when it doesn't have a connection, and I haven't had a single report of a lost connection yet.

I should be getting roughly 5.5MH/s on neoscrypt, and I have been until earlier today. Thoughts?

Run the neoscript miner alone on its own solid without a profit switching script like nemosminer/etc.

See if it stays connected.

Second;  try a second version of the miner app that is not the same as the one you are using now.

I have historically had issues with profit switching and neoscrypt, and neoscrypt in general.... the apps don't clean up properly;  lock the card into a lower power state, etc.... so this is a good place to start.

Waiting for Weeks to reset my Password.
If they don`t fix it in the next days, i'll be foreced to press charges against them.

So they are liable for your loss of password?  I think not...

I'm sure there's more to the story than what you are saying.
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][HashTap™][FlexFee™][SegWit] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ on: December 12, 2017, 09:18:04 PM
Yea, my bad i left lbry there...
However.. a read too about normalizations.. how do i calculate them?
I saw normalizations for 1070 but would be about the same for 980ti?

typically, 9 series cards are all within ~5% of each other scaled upwards.... so, if you are running 10xx series cards, you can use the 1070 norm.   But, remember, new miner apps come out all the time, so sometimes one algo gets a huge jump later compared to my normalizations from quite some time ago =)

follow the batch link in my sig.

look for the comments on the lite batch file or my old post in the older locked thread;  my link to my normalization how-to is there.
1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][HashTap™][FlexFee™][SegWit] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ on: December 12, 2017, 06:59:42 PM
Lots of rejected shares on scrypt.  Disabled for now.

(nvidia cards)

the scrypt port?   GPU's are like a serious fraction of a asic.......  seems like a waste.

How to set up properly Multi Algo Switching on CCminer?
This is what it put on Batch following example of Zpool
Code:
:start
ccminer-x64 -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://neoscrypt.mine.zpool.ca:4233 -u WALLET ADRESS -p c=BTC,lbry,lyra2v2,equihash
ccminer-x64 -a lyra2v2 -o stratum+tcp://lyra2v2.mine.zpool.ca:4533 -u WALLET ADRESS -p c=BTC,lbry,lyra2v2,equihash
ccminer-x64 -a equihash -o stratum+tcp://equihash.mine.zpool.ca:2142 -u WALLET ADRESS -p c=BTC,lbry,lyra2v2,equihash

sleep 5000
goto start

For my GTX980ti looks this best algos for me

you must make sure your ccminer supports each algo you are using it with... but the errors in your batch are as follows:
password on all should be "c=BTC,neoscrypt,lyra2v2,equihash";  LBRY is not an algo in your batch.  You also need to follow my instructions below to find out how to "normalize" the miner batch to your individual machine so that it's profitability calculations are correct... so each algo will contain a number after as such:
"c=BTC,neoscrypt=0.9,lyra2v2=65.0,equihash=0.95"
But these numbers I put are just examples.  You will know how to set it up with my instructional batch link post mentioned below.

check the batch link in my sig.   Lots of examples, and if you look for the link in that post to my "lite batch", you will find an example exactly like what you are trying to do.

My scripts simplify it though, and the most recent automatic miner has lots of notes on it for easy modification by a new user... and they make it easy to add an algo that is missing that you wish to mine.

Yup, I'm n00b!

I have two rigs, can I point them both to zpool under the same BTC address without screwing myself somehow?

Thanks!

Yes

if you want to diffirentiate them, use an extra flag in the password so you see it on the wallet page:

instead of "c=BTC,scrypt"
you would put something like "GPURIG1,c=BTC,scrypt"

Don't use special characters or spaces in the rig names.  a '-' is ok... but try to stick to letters and numbers only.

Hey guys I have been using awesome miner and using the zpool for the pool.  btc payout. I setup it up yesterday and checked on it today. When I got to zpool I pulled up my wallet info to see how my payout is going and I find this? we are short of this currency. please change from bch to btc. stop your miners. we do not have any more bch blocks.   The hole time I thought I was getting paid out in btc. The wallet address I put in the miner is my btc address. double checked it today.  Is there somewhere I need to go to make this change?
I have a hardware wallet for bitcoin.

cut and paste from zpool.ca mainpage.  I highlighted the part that pertains:
Quote from: zpool.ca
You can also use any valid wallet address from any of the coins we mine. This feature has had minimal testing so use at your own risk
YOU MUST ALWAYS set your currency in your password field that matches your wallet address: c=<SYMBOL>
. The pool has mined hundreds of different coins and many have the same address version. We CAN NOT read your mind and possible know what currency you want. If no c=<SYMBOL> is set, your currency will be randomly chosen from any matching coins we have used. This HAS TO BE A REAL EXCHANGE SYMBOL. Do not use a symbol that has an <ALGO> added. Such as XVG-blake2s or AUR-sha or DGB-skein, these are ALL WRONG. These are used only for the pool to support multi-algo coins.
c=<SYMBOL> doesn't always work. However, if you fail to correct this and/or continue mining with the wrong currency detected you will NOT be able to change to the proper currency once an actual balance has been posted to the address. The quickest and easiest way for you to fix this, is create a new address, update your miners and make sure again you've set c= properly. Do not log a support ticket asking to convert your balance from one currency to another, they'll be closed. If you insist on keeping and using the original address. Your accrued balance will be cleared and the proper currency updated for you. Any blocks still new/immature/exchange will automaticlly convert to the new currency

See the "Pool Status" area on the right for PORT numbers.

If this fails and you wish to use the same address, open a ticket as per the instructions.   The support link is at the bottom of the mainpage.

want to clear something up.  I am an idiot.  zpool made the payment to my supplied btc address, but get this folks...  the btc address i supplied was my nicehash wallet..  sigh...  I forgot to change to my private wallet.  So now I have the zpool payment showing up in my btc nice hash wallet <face smash></face smash>

zpool did everything right it was entire my fault.

Nice I need to get in contact with nice hash (which obviously has bigger issues to deal with than my little problem) to see if they can transfer the btc out into my private wallet.  I can see the funds sitting there

yeah, sadly, there's nothing on the poolside that can be done to swap it out....

Lets say that you are trying to change a payout address for someone else?   you'd need to sign a message from the payout address to prove you control it.....   that's big hurdle #1 since you dont own the private keys.

then #2, you do have the chance to try and recover said funds.... but... given how they are handling refunds/debts.... how do you think they will handle these ones?  this is the worst thing in my eyes...

But, you can try contacting them.  They should still have control of the wallet, so its a matter if they are honest or not.
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Multicoin Mining Pool for GPU on: December 12, 2017, 02:47:05 AM
Need to know what is difference between zpool and awesome miner. Will i still need join the pools for both miner
id check for the awesomeminer thread; awesomeminer is a miner app;  not a pool.  I have not used it personally, but I have heard it works rather well.  Same with nemosminer, and my personally made batch scripts.

zpool.ca is a mining pool site, and in the pools subforum on bitcointalk.org, there is a thread for zpool that should have links and lots of info on it's 'page 1'.  If you choose to use zpool.ca, I suggest reading over the thread.  Many of the questions you will have to begin with, have been answered many many many times....  Also, be sure to read the mainpage of zpool.ca and understand all of the alerts and details.

I have publicly available batch files that take the place of needing an app like awesomeminer/nemosminer/etc, and there's a link to that thread in my signature just next to the yobit ad.
In that thread, there are the most current versions of my batch files, some special utilities and there is another link that leads you to my "Lite" miner.  That post (which i can no longer edit) is full of information and resources such as older scripts, links to miner apps i use, and much more.
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: December 12, 2017, 01:51:37 AM
its mind boggling to think a 1080ti can be bought for ~0.039BTC....

this LTC rally is nice.   I have been expecting it for the last 6 months;  because every other "staple" coin out there had done it but LTC.... this is the biggest push I have seen LTC make (speaking on a total market cap basis)

Sadly I wish I had bought more, but I think using those funds to double up several times on BUB in the last few months make me not regret my decision to sell my LTC.

That's it! I had enough! I am switching to mining pool hub! Too many bugs with zpool. I was mining all day for a few cents! I was mining with 120 MH/s and the pool reported only 1-2 MH/s.

On zpools wallet page it is reporting on 5 GH/s when on Cgminer i can see it is 55 MH/s?Huh

So far so good on my end.. I had a few hiccups that lasted a few seconds but otherwise it's okay for me.

What was diff?  What device?  How much delta uptime?  Profit switching?

Seems like a config/use issue.....

I am seeing proper data on my connections/miners....
1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][HashTap™][FlexFee™][SegWit] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ on: December 11, 2017, 09:02:07 PM
Me too, awesome miner gives an estimation of 18 Euros per day, but now, about 18 hours since the last payout, the pool gave me less than a Euro. Something is wrong today.....
Please review payout amounts and requirements/conditions on main page.
Remember estimates aren't actual values.
You can only get paid on balance, not total earned because it includes unsold/confirmed credits.

Make sure you reach minimum payout and the coin is not in short supply.  If 24 hours has passed from the point of reaching the min payout and it's still not received, open a support ticket.

Does zpool pay out to segwit addresses (those that start with a 3?)

those arn't segwit those are multisig.

Best thing you can do, it connect a miner with the address and c=BTC and see what the pool thinks.

My bitcoin address is; 3C4DZ5aGsvtgsdGs7XpMbbV3KGus1A84LA

I've been using it for months(not on zpool).....is this okay?
Multisig 3 addresses have worked since day one.

I have the same mobo, i had the same error on windows 10. 4x 1070ti connected to the mobo windows only could use 3 of them, I found a makeshift bios from asrock for 4g option. It did not fix it either. The only fix I could find is just ditching the windows all together and install linux. I have all GPUs working now. For testing I also added another card it can use 5x GPUs without problem.
was your copy of 10 truly legitimate and fully updated to 17xx?  Because they made system changes in the recent updates to fix multiple GPU issues....
1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: December 11, 2017, 04:47:18 AM
Hi JaredKaragen

Thankyou
any more help will be much appreciated

Best Regards
Nemo

Im still horrible with the semantics of powershell coding...

if you have use algo names in variables like my batch does;  you could probably easily replicate my stratum link assembly method from my batch code... here is the most important snippets for your reference:

Code:
SET POOL=mine.zpool.ca
SET ADDY=BTCaddress
SET PASS=PASSWORDSTRING
SET A01=x13
START "%A01%" /min ccminer.exe -d 0,1 -r 0 -a %A01% -o stratum+tcp://%A01%.%POOL%:3633 -u %ADDY% -p %PASS%

I think it should be relatively simple to transpose this way of assembling the stratum link as called based on [hopefully] similar variables referenced in your code =) Given the limited ways you can code things in a windows terminal/batch file... I had to put it in pieces like that.  POOL variable was added by me initially to leave future support for more pools or people to easily edit the script to use it with an untested-by-me pool... it doesn't need to specifically be a variable.

So if you have a variable for the algo currently selected that contains it's name as the contents;  this method should work.

If you are kind of at an impasse at getting it working, send me a pm with some notes about your script where I should look and try, maybe send me a code snippet with notes on where to look.  Id be teaching myself more powershell by doing it... so if you point out the code responsible for naming algos and selecting which to use;  i may be able to figure a simple way to implement if you have trouble.

I remember it taking me ~20 min to go through and figure out how you were fetching the miner apps via your script....  powershell to me was extremely a foreign language when glancing at it.  I took C++ in 98' for my last year of high school, things like C#, Windows API, etc... I never dove into.  Ive always been grassroots types or micro controller based when it comes to coding.

the line is lower because of the delay in processing.   It's called an offset.  take your diagonal line, offset it down to the end of the flat spot... look, its going up MUCH steeper in more than one place, especially at the end.

On a lighter note I wanted to give congratulations:
The round of small TX payments were sent a little bit ago.  I checked the txID and holy crap has zpool grown:
https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/02e3f0d73adda1b45fba244d4eb343b76fdaeaac09a2a8d422802e4daf369c26/
10.9BTC transacted

0.1BTC in network fees paid by the pool.

Keep up the good work =)   I know there have been problems, but I will be patient as I have always been... there are always setbacks in life, what matters is if/how they are handled.
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][HashTap™][FlexFee™][SegWit] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ on: December 11, 2017, 03:15:31 AM
Actually drawing a diagonal line indicates I'm probably missing 2.25 hours of hashes... Recommend others draw similar lines on their graph if they have consistent hashing like an ASIC S9 and see if they miss the end target for the consistent rise...

https://imgur.com/a/F5ROF

those steeper ripples are proof of it catching up;  notice how linear the rest of the graph is at the beginning, none of those ripples...........  Its just delayed earnings posting as all as the DB catches up.

I'm having the same issue with ZPool and Nemosminer. The ccminer command parameters shows a perfect -p c=btc, nevertheless, zpool decided to payme in BCH.

Anyone else?

Please...... scroll up....................... Post #3030........................................................

Just got my weekly payment... for my home GPU's:

2x 960
1x 980
1x 1070
all stock clocks.  the 1070 is run at reduced intensity 24/7 as its in my home media center/tv/gaming pc.

Current USD value at time of RX of payment: 69.87

not too shabby... considering my last payment was 37.15 and was 0.0005 less than this weeks payment. As well as being 31.22 the week prior to that one.....

also considering the nicecrash across pretty much all mining pools as a result of the nicehack...  (we need to use these 'nice' permutations with everything from now on I think.. lol)....  The extra earnings are superb!

12/10 : Anyone else lose 2.25 hours of revenue today while zpool front end was down but pool was accepting hashes?

https://imgur.com/PTIw9hQ

I did, but it was "caught up," afterwards.  There ended up being no gap, it just slowly worked through the coins mined from 2+ hours, and is now down to 20 minutes behind (which is normal for me).  I am still seeing the same gap as you, but all the work done got kinda mashed into it all after the gap.

This is why the wallet page came up with a text warning about the frontend being offline for upgrades.
Now that everything is back up;  I know my miners never got disconnected the entire time; and are not showing on the right pane as connected, but the hashrate is clearly seen on the left....   reboot the miner or miner app andit will be as normal.  this is a common yiimp bug.

notice profitability caught up and found blocks can be explored on the pool status page....

If the pool is accepting work from you, that work is being recorded.

When payouts are processed, the frontend automatically shuts down to allocate resources to make sure the payments are processed properly and efficiently.

Hope it helps guys.
