1101  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or changer on: July 11, 2016, 10:02:53 PM
will bitcoin be able to replace every means of payment in future?
Who knows but yes it might replace virtual transfer currency i.e paypal, etc.
whats your opinion?

Do you know that once you deal with a seller (without any escrow) most of the time you have to send first the money, what happens in the seller does not response to you never, you can't ask for a refund like in paypal, paypal can't be replaced by bitcoin.
1102  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase suck on: July 11, 2016, 09:55:14 PM
Sometimes coinbase delays the transaction (incoming or outcoming) because of the low amount being sent or received.
But since they have replied to you, they should process your transaction manually. Now is it fixed?
1103  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Tesla was sold again for Bitcoin :) on: July 11, 2016, 09:30:48 PM
This deal is really a high amount of bitcoins, based on the article below 200.000 Euros.
And is equal to 335BTC which probably were held by an early adopter or by a rich people.
It's not easy to buy this huge amount of bitcoins at once, and Tesla is going to make a big step supporting bitcoin.
That is really huge transaction in bitcoins!
I wonder how many confirmation's that transaction needed Tongue
thanks to the guy that bought it,we will have our bitcoin more and more demanded Smiley

Guess it was double spent or zero fee Tongue, I think we should not care about that transaction but the fact the bitcoin was used in that deal which is not small. But a tesla does not cost 200.000 Euros?
1104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin can be used as a method of payment online? on: July 09, 2016, 01:29:25 AM
There I was thinking of bitcoin and it is contained in the title of this post. Is bitcoin can be used as a method of payment online?
Seeing that bitcoin has prices that always change when it is used as a payment method definitely prices will change as well. That would make traders must often change the prices in order not to incur a loss if the price drops. What do you think ? Is bitcoin can be used as a method of payment online?

Many popular websites do accept bitcoin as online payment method, for example fiverr accepts bitcoin (even though it take a small fee for processing the order), then we have seen newegg etc. Bitcoin has potential to be included also on popular websites like amazon and ebay but needs time and bitcoin network needs to be imporved.
1105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy halving day on: July 09, 2016, 01:22:18 AM
4 years later after this thread was created the halving is going to happen again, and now there are 93 blocks left until 420,000th block.
It is expected to happen today (UTC time) and let's see what will happen with the bitcoin price, I'm excited to see the surprises.
1106  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: If I buy with credit card, can I transfer to a wallet that is more anonymous? on: July 09, 2016, 12:54:43 AM
If i buy bitcoin with my credit card can I then transfer or sell to another account I make that does not have my CC info or real name etc..??

What is the best site to use a creditcard and not have to add any bank info?

Thanks,
Chris

This is why bitcoin is not completely anonymous, what I recommend is to use a mixer like cryptomixer (can be seen from my signature), they are pretty fast processing new orders. Maybe what you should do is to wait and make multiple transaction.
1107  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good idea to buy bitcoins now? on: July 09, 2016, 12:00:19 AM
Buying bitcoins was always preferred until it reached $1k+ when people were in an awkward situation to sell or to continue buying.
At this stage, buying bitcoin is not bad as the price probably will increase but I doubt it will hit 1k very soon.
For me this time is not good to buy bitcoin because the price was too expensive but if you have a lot of money you will decide if you invest now or not and if your mindset is waiting for the price will hit $1000.

After few hours I made that post the price went down for $55-$65, but the price changes every time.
Now the price is again up to $660 and since the halving is going to happen within the next 18 hours we hope the price to be much higher so those who have the ability and possibility to buy bitcoin let them buy.
The risk around bitcoin, buying it, are huge as there isnt any signal that the price will jump into any new value on the next hours as were expected. For other side till end the year bitcoin must and should reajust and test new value.

It is not guaranteed that the price will jump or dump in the next day after halving or during it but if we see the latest trending and if this trending continues then we expect the price to reach $800 - $1000, or the price will go back to $400 as it was before and stay for a long time at that stage.
1108  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: July 08, 2016, 11:00:06 PM
there are few cafes shops in the uk thats accepts coin and i somehow spend some  have you your experience ? and how did you feel? when i was  sending coin  peoplein the cafe was looking at me and asked me about it truly i feelt like im .... hurraaaaaaaa
I have some opportunity to spend the coins like topping up the mobile phone but since the difference by paying in bitcoin and cash is very small I prefer to hold the bitcoins, but haven't seen any coffee shop that does accept bitcoin, will they wait for 1 confirmation until they give me the coffee Tongue

*quote too long

Personally when i was using Poloniex about a week ago ( i still use,lol it is a great market ) i have found that predicting ethereum is pretty easy,
at least for me.
But bitcoin price is higher,so for example i cannot trade bitcoin while having really small deposit ( on poloniex, dunno about other ex )

I have make lots of trading also on poloniex and the main coin that I've traded was Ethereum and it was amazing to see how often the exchange rate was changing and the main role was bitcoin price, as higher the bitcoin price went the lower the exchange rate was.
1112  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency? on: July 08, 2016, 09:51:54 PM
If bitcoin gets accepted in most of online and real stores then people who manage the fiat currencies will try to centralize the bitcoin as we see that there are many attempts from the big worldwide institutions nowadays.
Centralizing bitcoin is totally a shilly attempt as nobody can do it because bitcoin nodes are distributed worldwide and also if one company from one country try to run maximum nodes other from other countries will also increase the no of nodes making bitcoin network more stronger. Bitcoin is community driven, better to say driven by strong and large community.

It's not about how may nodes do you have but it is about those exchanges and other ways that people buy and sell bitcoin. Once you submit your ID details/verification to these websites then they know/ have what to track and who to track those bitcoin, by this you are not anymore anonymous.

You can start trading with those altcoins that are pretty stable on the market and then exploring for the new altcoins (which at the moment are in the ICO phase), the earlier you invest there the higher can be the profit selling them after the ico, but this does not happen always as there are lots of scams.
I don't think that the earlier you invest on an ICO the higher profit that you will get because i tried investing in ICO about RISE coin and i lose a lot of coins because i didn't know that in ICO stage the bigger you have their shares the bigger you will lose if there is new investor Sad.
I've mentioned that this doesn't happen every time, I've also invested in altcoins which the value dropped to 1 satoshi. Since I've been scammed too I don't suggest anyone to invest all the money in these coins.

Altcoins are pretty comfortable indeed for people who dont know trading very well, and so they dont have big deposit.
With small amount's trading altcoins may be amusing, but i would say it is only for getting learned, you wont get any profit out of it.
With bitcoin you can trade with low deposits too, but trading for example ethereum is more challenging as the price changes very often(more often than bitcoin).
1114  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: July 06, 2016, 09:59:14 PM
Hello guys,

how many of you are earning for living just with bitcoin based projects? If some of you do, can you contribute what do you do?

I know people that earn more money online through bitcoin rather than they can have an average salary in their countries.
So yes it is possible to make a living with bitcoin and since it is a new innovation there are more rooms to succeed.

1117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: July 06, 2016, 09:34:36 PM
I put most of my money into bitcoin how about you?

When I started at the beginning yeah i put all my money in bitcoin and also borrowed money from my few relatives and friends.
What people should be aware is that don't risk all your money, it is very risky especially spending/trading online.

1119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is bitcoin most important to you? on: July 06, 2016, 09:20:15 PM
Bitcoin is very important to me because bitcoin has made much easier to deal online, there are other online payment methods like e-banking but it does not give you the commodity that bitcoin gives you. I can say that bitcoin changes my life for good and for bad at the beginning.
1120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Just Too Stupid to Use Bitcoin Right Now on: July 06, 2016, 08:17:53 PM
"People are just too stupid to use bitcoin right now,” I overheard someone argue at a bar a few weeks ago as we were discussing the potential of cryptocurrency. “Society’s understanding of where money comes from is the real challenge.

This is the whole article I read at cointelegraph

It's a fact that bitcoin is not grandma friendly but for people that know about IT and technology they should know some concepts at least they are familiar with bitcoin as beginners by making simple transactions.
But pushing transaction, seeds, and other troubleshoot need some advance knowledge.
