Both, land-based casinos and online casinos, use different marketing and customer retention techniques. While land-based casinos offer free food, event tickets, or rooms to stay for a night, online casinos offer VIP privileges like extra bonuses, higher deposit bonuses, more chances to hit a jackpot, etc.

It's difficult for an online casino to offer more than this to its customers. And about small rollers, I agree that they should also get at least a little bit of compensation for their time and consistency towards the casino. If an online casino starts to offer something like that to its regular small rollers, it will probably get more traffic, as we all know that there are more small rollers out there than high rollers. So retention of small rollers should be a part of their marketing strategies.

for small rollers, online casinos can offer contest like what i've seen in betfury, the $150 free-to-play funfury battle. you can get certain amount of funfury token and use it to bet, and you don't need to spend real money to join. you can test how good you are in betting to get high profits also. so casinos can think of similar concept to small rollers just to engage them in being active on the site. this idea is not hard to implement, if they have dedicated individuals to take care of this feature. they don't need high amount to launch. and look at how many players will join the event.
Similar to this bitsler have provided access for its users to claim bitsler tokens regularly. These tokens can be used to play on the platform. There is regular wagering race separately for bitsler tokens and for the other cryptocurrencies. Winner of the bitsler tokens wager winner also paid in bitcoin.

How many teams have got different squad for test and other formats of cricket. Yesterday England team played test match against New Zealand and lost it. Today England team have played against Bangladesh and won the match. This is good, because more players get opportunity to play for the country than just the same team playing every format of cricket.

India can try this kind of different squad for different format of cricket. BCCI have categorised the players on some category and have different salary slab.

The way South Africa started their innings, I thought they would declare an inning after 500-plus. But apart from the two openers, I have not seen a better performance from any batsman. Opener Dean Egar scored 71 runs and Marakram's collection was 115 runs. After losing 8 wickets at the end of the first day, South Africa collected only 314 runs. It was not enough to beat the West Indies. The match looks more likely to be a draw now. If South Africa's middle order had batted with some responsibility, they could have won this match.
South Africa lost first wicket at 141, second on 221, and after that, wikcets keep on falling. I would say 314 is still good enough to get lead against West Indies though SA still have 2 wickets left. The match will end in a draw or we have a result is mostly dependent on how West Indies play in there first innings. West Indies have a good come back in bowling as they have got 8 wickets on day 1, same is required in batting.

In the first innings, South Africa collected only 342 runs. But if they can collect more than 400, they can be in a safe zone. Because the pitch is not helping the bowlers. It will not be difficult to collect big on this pitch if you bat carefully. Bassett Indies managed to collect 71 runs in 20 overs. But they lost two valuable wickets of openers Brathwaite and Chanderpaul. However, the West Indies squad has several talented batsmen. I guess they will be able to collect more than 300 in the first innings.

On the other hand, India's batting disaster happened in the match between India and Australia. India lost all wickets for just 109 runs. And Australian team lost only 2 wickets to collect 111 runs. India is in crisis. If Australia's batsmen can bat responsibly, they are sure to win.
Even now South Africa is at the safe zone, because West Indies doesn't have the stable players who contributes. West Indies have lost two wickets for 70 runs. Possibly they'll reach 200-250 runs. The 100 runs difference will be the match decider. I find South Africa on the advantageous part.

With the Australia vs India match, this is sure win for Australia. Every time we can't expect miracles to come from the all rounders of India. This time Australia have come prepared to take revenge of the previous matches.

No more tail wagging this time around.

Not every time Jaddu-Ashwin-Axar will bail out the team if you continuously fail at the top. In the first 2 matches, these 3 were the main difference with the bat between both teams. Today they failed and look at the Indian scorecard. It should give the top order some reality check.

Smudge did well today, he's a proven skipper so no surprises there.

LOL.. one of those rare occasions when the triad (Jadeja-Ashwin-Axar) failed with the bat. India bundled out in just 33 overs, and now they have 56 overs today against the Australian batsmen. KL Rahul has been finally kicked out of the India team, and I am wondering when they are going to do the same with Cheteshwar Pujara. His record since 2020 has been just horrendous. BTW, I don't have any high expectations from the Australian batsmen as well. The pitch is offering a lot of support to the spinners and I would be happy if they can get to a first innings lead.

When cricket fans starts discussion on the social media about the replacement of better player in his place we'll get to see the support and opposition for the same. Understanding the scenario the selection committee might take necessary action. This time I believe Australia batsmen will score good. Atleast 250+ runs will come in the first innings. Matthew Kuhnemann had his test career best with the best economy of 1.78 rpo(16/5). It looks like Jadeja have begun his performance taking the wicket of Travis Head. In 3 overs Australia have made 14/1

It's high time that Australia should also make an inspiring comeback in the BGT series. This tour must be looking very long from the Aussie's perspective, hope this long break helped their outfit in some way.
Australia is getting inspired as India already lost their 4th wicket and the Australian spinners are troubling the Indian batsman  Cheesy. Ravindra Jadeja was promoted but he failed to stick on for a while and now Shreyas Iyer looks like he chopped one in and India is struggling now as the 5th wicket is gone for 45 runs and it looks like Virat Kohli wont be having any partners to build a good partnership.
Australia have brought the right spinners into the team. Matthew Kuhnemann playing his second Test match and moving towards five wicket haul. In every match bottom order players have contributed good to the India team win the previous matches. Even today something like that needs to happen, if not this test match gonna end in three days time.

India vs Australia - 3rd Test, Holkar Stadium

India have won the toss and chosen to bat.
Sharma and Gill have opened the innings.
Starc and Green opened the bowling spell.
Pitch is dry, and chosen to bat first.
Rahul replaced by Gill.
Umesh have come in for Shami.
1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC women's T20 World cup 2023 Discussion Thread on: February 28, 2023, 07:04:03 AM
I have to say, I was very surprised with the quality of Cricket that were played by some of these teams. I watched several of the matches and it was way beyond my wildest expectations.  Wink

I actually lost a bunch of money in the final, because I thought the South Africans would de thrown the defending champions on the day, because they were so good in their previous matches. (It is a pity that one of their best batters, where not fit enough to play in the World Cup, they needed her for those 16 runs difference in the final)

Well, congratulations to Australia.... and thank you for a very enjoyable World Cup!
There is big change in the women's cricket. Most of the teams played really well. In every tournament the semifinals and the finals have got big expectation. To the expectation every match was good to watch and no match went one sided. In every match the fight for win lasted till the final over.

With the season of WIPL the women's cricket will have more improvement as well as supporters. The next Women's world cup will have much more competence than this year's. South Africa should've done it, but some unwanted mistakes at the last moment made the team runner up.

What a match. I was just checking the score and saw 2 runs required in 35 overs. Next time I check it was New Zealand won by 1 runs.

Each and everyone made their contribution. Really great work from the New Zealand team. The odds for New Zealand was above 4.5 and all that who placed bets will be enjoying now.

It was Joe Root who took the match towards the win, and finally Anderson wasn't able to stand against the bowling from Neil Wagner. Complete disappointment for England cricket fans and celebration for the New Zealand cricket fans.

The same James Anderson scored a boundary against Neil Wagner two overs before. But when it mattered, he couldn't score a single run. Anyway, it was a good fight from the England lower order. Luck wasn't with them. But I enjoyed watching this match, despite the fact that I normally don't watch test format. Both the sides were of almost equal strength, unlike the recent matches between India and Australia which were dominated by one of the teams. The absence of Trent Boult and Kyle Jamieson is still a big blow for New Zealand.
Luck wasn't with them. Now England team might've thought of declaring at 435/8 a wrong decision. Maybe few runs to the first innings could've helped them reaching the target. Other than Ben Stokes and Jack Leach none played as if like playing a test format cricket. Look at the runs scored by the players and the balls taken. Earlier it was in the year 1993 West Indies won against Australia by a run and now after 30 years New Zealand have done it against England.
1110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 28, 2023, 03:15:56 AM
I was watching this live on Amazon PrimeVideo, and I can confidentally say that this is one of the greatest evet test match finishes that I managed to watch live. New Zealand won by just 1 run, as James Anderson got out to a spectacular delivery from Neil Wagner. Feels bad for the England lower order batsmen, who worked so hard to inch closer to the target - especially Ben Foakes, Stuart Broad and Jack Leach. James Anderson also tried his best, but today was not his day. Leach did a fantastic job, by surviving for 31 balls. But in the end, he ended up in the losing team.

Every PSL match is full of energy, the scores have begun to reach close to 200 runs in every match. Some matches are getting so close while chasing target. In today's match Lahore Qalandars have scored 134/3 against Islamabad United in 14 overs. Shafique scored 45 runs of 24 balls and missed his half-century. Team to win the match will be on the second position on the points table as Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars were with the same points.

Anyone watching the ACC Men’s Challenger Cup? All the matches are being broadcasted live on ACC official YouTube channel:
https://www.youtube.com/@AsianCricketCouncilTV

A total of 8 teams are participating, and the top 2 teams from this tournament will qualify for the 2023 ACC Men's Premier Cup. The winner from the second competition will quality for the 2023 Asia Cup to play along with the 5 test nations from Asia.

So far, Maldives and Bahrain have won one match each in Group A, while Saudi Arabia and Thailand are in a similar position with Group B. Right now, the Bhutan vs Iran and Bahrain vs Maldives matches are going on.

There is no doubt about this all now we have too many countries are involved in this game and things are turning in good way for better future but here I have one concern now we need to stop this 50 overs drama because this is never been ideal format for the new countries mostly needs to work on only twenty/20 because this is future, and we can bring good things for many countries with this fast game and quick results for them.

Countries like Iran and Thailand surely can do good but as we all know Saudi Arab and Bahrain can't bring native players which is also matter of concern for the authorities in cricket they need to go with stick policy and fair rules for all countries which are going to participate in ICC related events here I am feeling good for the SAARC countries as now we have all seven countries in this game even few are weak but still good for these all seven countries.
This is wrong, mastering T20 cricket can be done by anyone. Playing ODI is different, and I'm sure playing ODI and moving to T20 is better than just focusing on T20 cricket. These countries are slowly making their progress and in the long run they need experience. The matches played will help them face critical situations. More countries into cricket, but we were able to watch quite a limited number of quality games. The change takes place slowly.

Another thing, native player controversy continues forever. Even with the top teams we've got players born in other countries and playing for a different country. When someone doesn't gets recognised in the home country they look for opportunities and when some other country is ready to give chance it is obvious to accept.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hypothetical Question on: February 27, 2023, 12:42:36 PM
More and more number of assured matches can be seen around, but it is really hard to believe. Even I encountered with such a match, but I didn't spend on the match. I kept watching the outcome and the result was the same. Then onwards I believe in such fixed matches, even after that it always gives a hesitation to spend. Spending millions in such matches will sure be risky in my view.

Spending small funds and enjoying the outcome seems to be fair than risking big amounts.
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 27, 2023, 08:48:13 AM
New Zealand could have collected 300 runs in the first innings, the match would have been competitive.
300? Lol! They barely scored 200+ runs thanks to Southee's late flourish which is why expecting them to score 300 runs when they collapsed like a pack of cards is silly. They are batting well in the 2nd innings, but the situation still looks dire for them.
They will probably post a lead close to 200 which England will comfortably end up chasing unless they collapse.

New Zealand's batting in the second innings is surprising everyone. I was surprised to see the scoreboard. New Zealand collected 440 runs losing 5 wickets. After scoring only 209 runs in the first innings, it was unexpected that New Zealand would bat so well in the second innings. Kane Williamson is still at the crease with 123 runs. Bludell's collection is 69 runs. Now it seems that getting up to 550 will not be a difficult task for New Zealand. But the match is more likely to be a draw now.
I predicted Kane Williamson to perform good. Williamson have done the best and rest have made their contribution. This is a big comeback performance from the New Zealand team. 483 runs is a good score and the same have set a target of 258 runs for England. It looks an easy target, but the last day pitch used to be mostly in favour of bowlers. So, we can expect unexpected results tomorrow.

When it comes to football,it is always Europe. For Asia right now it is cricket in my view, because most of the countries have cricket teams and few are the best in the World. Football is slowly making its way into the countries and infrastructure were getting developed. The importance cricket have got is high, and now people have begun to consider football and other games. This makes better future and good players emerging out of Asian countries too.

It really is South America vs Europe.

Any other continent is way below in any kind of metrics you can possibly think of.

Football is slowly appearing in other countries, but even if they are more popular, they are simply not at the same level of South America or Europe, where it is like religion.
Agreed, it is South America and Europe dominating the football. However there is better progress from the Asian countries for football compared to the past. To reach the level of European Countries and South American countries in terms of football quality isn't and easy thing and it won't happen shortly. Now only leagues from Asia is slowly getting popularity with the participation of European players, which too a positive signal for the progress of football in Asia.

I don't have much knowledge about the body functioning, but I've heard that specific amount of protein, specific amount of vitamin and something like that is enough to have healthy running of our body. We need to find those suitable food products and consume than spending additional on different foods. Maybe this way it is possible to cut the expenses on food. Another thing there are ways by which different foods can be made out of the remaining leftover, which is also a good plan.

Kiwis still trail by 24 runs, they lost only 3 wickets but I do not think they will be able to get a good lead against the English side. This English side has been amazing, the coach, the captain, and the team have created a unique strategy that most of us and neither the opposition team management is able to understand.
The English batters are not aggressive anymore they are going after the bowlers which is making this test match more interesting. In this game, the batters and the bowlers of England are contributing in alignment. Regardless of the pitch they have proven they have proved their skills. I would love to see England playing against India in India.
Kiwis have missed the opportunity. Being in the home ground they should've performed better in the first innings. As of now New Zealand is in good position, and this isn't going to be a draw. The match is completely into the hands of England. If New Zealand were able to make a comeback, then it is a big history in the test cricket.  In the match between India and Australia similar scenario happened, when everyone predicted the team to end the innings shortly bottom order players took the score leveling the scoring of Australia. Lets see if something similar to that takes place tomorrow.

The situation in New Zealand is still not good in my opinion. England has enforced them to a follow-on. I feel like New Zealand is not doing well still. They have already lost three wickets and they are still on the trail. New Zealand will have to do really well to give a good target for England.

At this moment I find it hard for New Zealand to do so. But on the brighter side, Kane Williamson is still in the middle for New Zealand. So I think they still have hope.

Kane Williamson is the only hope, but with two days left in the match it is really hard to make a comeback. With the 7 wickets remaining New Zealand team have to stand strong for the entire day scoring atleast 300+ runs as target. Only then Kiwis can think of atleast a draw. For now such a chance is very minimal. Maybe an unexpected performance from few of the players could cause such things in the crease.
1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: February 26, 2023, 11:51:39 PM
The continent of Asia is not that bad with countries at all. It is also good that a number of countries from Asia are directly admitted to this tournament. Europe is of course the strongest continent and that will not change. It's just a long way off. In 3.5 years the entire composition of a team can change completely and I think that will happen with some teams. Belgium seems to me to be a good example of this. It is a pity that Belgium and Germany did so poorly at the last World Cup, they still have a lot of potential and had a great crop in recent years.
Europe is still a reference in world football and I believe that will not change.
South America has always had a few countries that are excelent teams, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, and I believe this will remain so for a long time.

Regarding these countries that you mentioned, Belgium for me was one of the countries that most evolved in football, I believe, when Belgium eliminated Brazil in the 2018 World Cup, several countries began to look at Belgium with different eyes, because she managed to show the world that she has a good team and that she can improve in the near future
When it comes to football,it is always Europe. For Asia right now it is cricket in my view, because most of the countries have cricket teams and few are the best in the World. Football is slowly making its way into the countries and infrastructure were getting developed. Alcaraz is secretly back in the final of the tournament in Rio De Janairo. Especially in the last set (6-0) he made mincemeat of his opponent, the qualifier Nicolas Jarry. Britain's Cameron Norrie awaits in the final, against whom he also played in the final last week in Buenos Aires. I think another win for ALcaraz, but Norrie is also in the top 15 in the world from memory so it won't be a walk over. At the moment a perfect comeback from Alcaraz after his injury last year.
Finally it was a win for Cameron Norrie in the Rio Open final match. From the first set the fight have begun and Alcaraz won the set 7-5. The second one was a win for Cameron Norrie winning 6-4, once again Cameron Norrie have won the third set 7-5 after good fight. As you've mentioned this match isn't a walkover and have outlawed the prediction of Alcaraz winning the trophy.
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: February 25, 2023, 11:28:14 PM
ChatGPT is all the rage at the moment. I’ve seen that people are asking it to predict sporting events. Would you leave gambling decisions up to artificial intelligence? Do you see any potential drawbacks for outsourcing your bets to a software program? Has anyone here tried this yet? Do we need someone to put together a thread of ChatGPT predictions to see how accurate they are?  Any other thoughts?

It's hard to think that an AI, based on old historical data, would be able to predict the outcomes of current matches. I would imagine player quality could increase and decrease by quite a large margin in a two year span. It does feel like there is some sort of algorithm that you might be able to suggest to it, or see what what suggestions it would churn out but you might have to spoon feed it data like current player lists or team configurations. You can bet that gambling companies are also seeking to use these AI programs to improve their offerings as well and they have a lot more resources to fund such research. I don't think anyone can profit on it, but maybe if it was using more up to date info it's possible.
It is been feed up by information into its library which means that it is really that accumulating on whats been able to accumulate and it is really just that not really reliant if you are really that basing your predictions

and betting positions on what AI had suggested because its never been that recommendable but if you do see that it is really  that relevant or effective to yours then its your call.

It is really just that people cant really have the easiest way because if it does really work then lots of people would be making use of it.
AI will use the data available over the specific time period to predict the outcome of the match. At times this can have coincidence with the outcome of the match and when the outcome doesn't favour we should have the mind to accept it rather than thinking we should've predicted it than going for the AI.

The best AI can do is help as an information source. While analysing the past history of teams and player performance it isn't easy, it takes time and we need to watch carefully. With AI the work can be made effective and based on the same we can make the prediction.
