1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 09, 2023, 04:05:23 PM
Meanwhile, it is still very possible that PSG will get the Ligue1 trophy this season, although I hope that another team will be able to get it this season.
PSG win the title most of the time because barely no team could stop losing easy games when PSG waste many points. We are 4 rounds from the start of the season, PSG already lost 4 points while Lens and Lyon are sitting in the last places, Nice and Rennes around the middle of the table, Marseille got 2 draws like PSG and Monaco already got a draw vs Nantes..
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: September 09, 2023, 03:55:03 PM
I'm very surprised about how difficult game Belgium had against Azerbaijan. Yeah, they won, but damn, they struggled a lot.
Ukraine - England, it's difficult to see upset here. Over 2.5 goals looks like good bet, but I'm risking here with BTTS. Estonia - Sweden, another game with heavy favorite. Going with over 2.5 goals @1.80, though from h2h results of these team, they usually ended with under. North Macedonia - Italy, same bet with over 2.5 goals. Switzerland odds against Kosovo looks attractive, but I'll skip this game, don't really trust in Switzerland.
Azerbaijan 0 - 1 Belgium was a poor victory from the Belgian side. Azerbaijan isn't a good team, yet Belgium couldn't score more than 1 goal. They were ranked first according to FIFA? I cannot recognise nor trust them.
I find Switzerland pretty much similar to Belgium. I mean both teams dropped significantly but I think they will win vs Kosovo. Italy, England and Sweden are favourite while Andorra - Belarus is quite random tho.

It's nice to have a thread like this to discuss another matches/competitions
If anyone is interested I created a thread about South American qualifiers to 2026 World Cup: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5465893.msg62805054#msg62805054
But no one has posted so far... Tongue
Here on the forum I've noticed that not many people are interested in South American soccer, people like and know more about European soccer, and even talk more about Arab soccer  Cheesy
Yeah yesterday I was about to create a topic about Conmebol qualifiers then I said no need to do that since if there is a lot of discussion, people would created it years ago in this section.
It is true most members in Bitcointalk are interested in major European leagues and competitions with a glance in Saudi Pro League and African national teams games. American and Asian competitions are rarely discussed here, that's why it would be better to make a unique topic about all of them until we see that they deserve their own thread Wink

Brazil punished Bolivia with 5 goals to 1, good performance from Rodrygo and Neymar who both scored 2 goals. Uruguay 3 - 1 Chile, I expected more from Chile, at least a draw..
Next round will take place in 3 days with Bolivia - Argentina and Peru - Brazil mainly.
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / ⚽ International Football Prediction and Discussion Thread ⚽ on: September 08, 2023, 08:30:56 PM
In this thread you can share your predictions and your discussion about international competitions that don't already have dedicated topics like UEFA EURO or AFRICA FOOTBALL DISCUSSION.
This topic can include national football teams or even clubs playing in official international competitions or friendlies.

Right now we have 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification - CONMEBOL matches that started yesterday with Paraguay 0 - 0 Peru, Colombia 1 - 0 Venezuela and Argentina 1 - 0 Ecuador.
Two matches left for this round between Uruguay - Chile and Brazil - Bolivia.

Just to make things more clear in case of multiple competitions running at the same time, it is preferable to put [Competition name] in the beginning of the post. It is just optional.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: September 08, 2023, 08:13:10 PM
.
I think Portugal is better than Slovakia even without Cristiano Ronaldo.
Slovakia are playing really well without fear and have even been able to create some goal scoring opportunities. They are defending well against a very good Portugal team with many talented players like Ronaldo, Fernandez, Rafeal from AC Milan, Cancelo, Dalot, Bernando Silva, but still no way for them to get their game really going to create any chance. The only chance they have had in this game was from a mistake by the Slovakia defense. If Slovakia win this game, they really deserve it. They have played well with the ball and when not with the ball. They are a hardworking team.
Slovakia was much better then Portugal in the first half and its a shame that they didnt score a goal and after a couple of misses Bruno Fernandes with a beautiful goal punished them and i think Portugal has opened them even more and can score two more goals to finish this match.
Slovakia are trying their best but Portugal isn't an easy team. The score is still 1 - 0 for Portugal and they have to score another goal at least to avoid any late surprise.
In the other matches, Scotland and Croatia are leading with 3 and 4 goals to 0 which make them playing comfortably. Bosnia and Luxembourg are leading with 1 goal difference which isn't reassuring. I see Turkey 1 goal behind Armenia and Spain punished badly Georgia with 7 goals!
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 08, 2023, 08:04:56 PM
The reason why Harry Maguire hasn't been laid off from the Manchester United team yet is that his contract with them will be over by 2025 not this year or next year. Letting go of him before that time, requires Manchester United to pay him off because of that. However, Maguire is demanding for 15million euro pay off from Manchester United, if they want to let go of him. And Manchester is refusing to do that. They prefer to sign him out to a club than losing completely. That's why you see at times Ten Hag will play Maguire in some of their matches to see if any other club apart from West Ham will find interest in him. Not that Ten Hag trusts him, he also wants Maguire to leave the club as soon as possible. And there is nothing else he can do, either wait till the time Maguire's contract with Manchester United ends or get a club for him to sign as their defense player.
Harry Maguire was close to join West Ham but he refused although Manchester United wanting him to leave the club.
I don't know why he didn't go on loan to West Ham for example with a possibility of purchase or if that was ever discussed? Anyway Manchester United stuck with him right now and he is accepting to stay although he was stripped from being captain and almost not playing with the team..
1107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON Qualifiers 2023 on: September 08, 2023, 04:05:38 PM
For the first time in African football history, a country has produced male and female Balon D'or nominees in the same year and that I think is a big achievement for Nigeria and also a very commendable feat that's been achieved by the most populous black nation.
Victor Osimhen and Asisat Oshoala deserves their nominations after an impressive season with their respective European clubs. That been said, I don't think any of them stands a chance to win the prestigious prize when it'll be announced on 30 October at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris.
It is good to hear that news even though I doubt there will be an African player winning Balon d'Or this season. For the case of Osimhen, he is good and everything but Nigerian team didn't achieve big things and the player himself wasn't consistent all the time.
We will know who is the winner and whether Nigeria woll get something.
1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: September 08, 2023, 03:59:11 PM
After the number of teams joining Euro 2024 has gone up to 24 it has become very difficult for big teams to say goodbye to the tournament in the qualifiers. I'm expecting Portugal to increase their points to 15 by getting a comfortable win against Slovakia today. I'm wondering especially C.Ronaldo's performance. I couldn't watch him there after he went to the Saudi Arabia league. I have just seen the videos of a few goals he scored. I have really missed to watch him in Europe again.
Cristiano Ronaldo is fine in Saudi Arabia, after all he is playing with top players in the team vs world class players in the league. Some disappointment sometimes but he mostly score goals.
I think Portugal is better than Slovakia even without Cristiano Ronaldo.
Croatia, Turkey, Bosnia, Scotland and Spain should win their games that will be played today. For Luxembourg - Iceland, I don't have a clue since both teams aren't that good and everything could happen in it.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON Qualifiers 2023 on: September 07, 2023, 10:54:57 PM
These coups were only condemned by African organizations and had some sanctions but they did not have any sanctions in terms of soccer
And they shouldn't have. It is so random to punish a whole nation for so something that might agree or disagree with.. Football should just saw away from politics.

on the 9th of this month my country will play against benin, in this game my country needs to win to be able to qualify for the can, looking at what the corrupt government of my country has done to the national team I would say that my country's team I will lose in this game, in the last 40 years it has been a disappointment..
Mozambique need only a draw to pick the second place just behind Senegal which is way better than the other teams in its group. Good luck and hopefully yoir nation qualify Smiley

I followed the first half of Tunisia 3 - 0 Botswana. Tunisian team missed opportunities in the first half and Botswana failed to score a single goal. Later, in the second half, Botswana players are owned by Tunisians
1110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: September 07, 2023, 07:48:15 PM
Serbia just conceived another goal, and it is now 1:2 at home against Hungary
although Hungary scored all goals, one own goal for the matter

interesting match, I would make a bet on Serbia to win, but it is without audience, and does not matter a lot, because both teams will almost certainly progress to next round, so I will skip it
Yeah both teams are heading their group and the other teams with them aren't that good. I can't expect much from Montenegro, Lithuania neither Bulgaria..
Until now Hungary are performing better than Serbia. Maybe in the next half Serbia could comeback?
Poland 0 - 0 Faroe Island in the first half. That's interesting Roll Eyes otherwise normal results until now for France, Netherlands, Slovenia and Denmark.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 07, 2023, 07:32:43 PM
Real Madrid will miss those players who are injured because they are all among the team's best players, and I think they will still be in a strong position even if they do not win the league title this year because they still have a lot of talented players on their roster who can contribute well and put the team in a strong position to win the title the following year.
Vinicius Junior will return by the end of this month, most likely when Real Madrid will play vs Atlético Madrid. If this news is confirmed then he will miss only Real Sociedad match in La Liga and Union Berlin game in Champions League. Well these two games are important for the club.
In the other hand, Real Madrid have other names to count on as you said like Bellingham and Joselu.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON Qualifiers 2023 on: September 07, 2023, 06:34:55 PM
It is an important game for Ghana, they need to at least draw the game to be sure of the AFCON next year.
Ghana News
Africa Cup of Nations qualification matches for the 6th and last round of group stage started yesterday with Libya 1 - 1 Equatorial Guinea. Tunisia and Botswana match will start in less than half an hour along with Group F matches.
Otherwise, Ghana won with 2 goals to 1 vs Central African Republic. Ghana ended up in the first place in Group E followed by Angola.
1113  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 📝[Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns📝 on: September 06, 2023, 09:10:17 PM
Anyway, it looks like Bitcointalk is still a great place to run ad campaign. Based on this discussion currently there's 32 active signature campaign paying bitcoins (if I'm not mistaken). I can't imagine there are many online gambling casino companies doing this sort of thing. Hopefully, this will last for a long period of time just like many others.

There are 28 active ones as per the Overview thread.
Are you guys aware of any other forum in the world that would have similar campaigns?
It's pretty crazy to think that there are people from poor countries making their living just by posting on bitcointalk. The highest-paid campaign currently pays $6/post, which converts to around $910/month. Not enough to survive in "the West" but there are plenty of countries you could live a comfy life with that kind of money.
Since it is a win win situation then I see no problems with that personally. To answer your question, there is (or there was since I am not sure if they continue to do it) some forums that do the same thing with a lower payments mostly. Honestly I don't recall since it has been a long time, the last one I remember is an ex signature campaign that opened up a forums with low payment per post.
For the money, it depends from the country you live on it but certainly in western one the payment won't make a living, maybe to buy additional stuff with it at best.
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: September 06, 2023, 03:27:43 PM
Lol, again women turned everything (sport in our case) into scandal and drama. We should create talk shows about that. Again everything is converted into sexual abuse. People must touch, look, talk to them in a special way, while they all scream about equality. All of them, instead of creating this drama, should better show better results on the field.
Well I don't understand why someone would kiss another one other than his family and friends in front of the whole world..whether it was consensual or not.
Imagine the coach of the nation winning the World Cup was sacked in an indirect relation due to that drama, the guy was just the friend of the president.
The victory was kinda ruined and there is still ambiguity after several days..
1115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 06, 2023, 03:22:56 PM
On matchday 1, there are 2 match highlights that are definitely interesting for me to look forward to, namely Milan vs Newcastle and PSG vs Dortmund.
Regarding history and teams performance right now in their domestic leagues, I find AC Milan better than Newcastle and PSG better than Dortmund. I might say Newcastle United might pick a draw in their away match but I doubt Dortmund could do the same, the best they can in that case is to try to keep goal difference as low as possible.

Meanwhile, on matchday 2 I am interested in watching Madrid vs Union Berlin, Arsenal vs PSV, Bayern Munich vs Manchester United, and Sevilla vs Lens.
Real Madrid is better than Union Berlin and should win that match. Arsenal could do it as well.
For Sevilla and Lens, both are doing horribly in their leagues and I fail to think which one will play miserably than the others..

With quite an entertaining schedule between all the games I'm looking forward to Bayern Munich's debut against Man United.
This game is quite hard to calculate. Bayern Munich is okay while Manchester United isn't that stable right now. Everything could happen, I think Bayern Munich will win but I wouldn't be surprised with a draw too.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 05, 2023, 10:05:30 PM
The European transfer window has closed. Like EPL, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 there is no longer a transfer market. But the Saudi Arabian League still seems to be until September 20. This seems to make up the transfer gap. But I don't understand, can the European players still leave? If this can be of course, there is still a lot of hope for players who play in the 5 competitions above.

Source: https://www.goal.com/

I'm pretty sure it was ending this weekned no?

About that it seems they sent a bid for Salah for 250m €
Saudi Pro League summer transfer window will close in September 7, 2023. That was officially announced by the federation. FIFA transfer calendar isn't accurate apparently since it mentioned the end of the month as the time to close everything.
For Salah, it will be a fair movement for him (salary) and Al-Ittihad (good player) but definitely a very bad thing for Liverpool since they will lose a main player and they cannot ask anymore someone else to join them. Klopp called this unfair and asked FIFA to align every competition with the european one Lips sealed
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 05, 2023, 09:56:50 PM
Yep. Amrabat is a good player, and It was a good signing. Looking forward to him improving United's midfield
Now we wait till Brighton game to see him.
Many players were victim of rape, violence and other accusations that ruined their career before it ends up being totally false.. Benjamin Mendy is the latest victim that was acquitted.

And Drama still goes on...
Manchester United are under pressure to drop Antony after Brazil withdrew the footballer from their squad following serious allegations of physical assault.
Antony announced he didn't do anything and until a prove is given or a provisory detention was done, I find it abusive to reject a player that way.. There is political candidates with serious allegations that are running for top positions and not being kicked from the races. Are football players more important than those? So random Undecided
1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 05, 2023, 08:51:50 PM
For Mbappe, I also don't know for sure about his new contract extension with PSG, I think this is very secretive by PSG management so that it doesn't become a media conversation anymore.
I presume Mbappe clan is in discussion with Real Madrid in addition to PSG to find the suitable contract for him. In any way Mbappe will not accept a contract that limit his possibilities to move whenever he wants.
Mbappe will try to avoid being a new Lukaku and PSG will avoid looking fool this year too.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 05, 2023, 07:50:22 PM
I think that it would be much better for Sevilla to go down to the Europa League rather than continuing in the Champions League.
LOL. You think it's that easy to go down to the Europa League? Sevilla also wants to be in the Champions League even though many doubt it like you, let's just wait until the group stage rolls around.

I will add here the reward system used in Champions League, Europa League and Conference League when they enter and when they advance in each stage.
Playing Europa League only will guarantee around €40m when lifting the Cup if I am not mistaken which is the equivalent of reaching the Quarter-finals in Champions League. Obviously if this seems to be a hard mission then jumping to Europa League might be a better solution.
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 05, 2023, 04:19:08 PM
Yes indeed, Stuttgart in this season looks better than the previous season, and of course with Stuttgart being able to get good results in two matches at the beginning of this season. At least, it is a proof for Stuttgart who is able to recover and rise this season to be better but yes, even so there is still no definite guarantee for Stuttgart to be able to maintain its good performance throughout this season. Because after all, to be strong in the top four in the Bundesliga standings of course is not easy, because the competition in the top four is also very competitive and of course cannot just rely on luck factor.
Stuttgart won vs Bochum, that was normal but what was good is to see them scoring 5 goals. Their defeat vs Leipzig wasn't a surprise but losing with 5 goals was a problem. The last match they played was excellent since they defeated Freiburg with 5 goals.
11 goals in 3 matches is a good record, yet receiving 5 was quite exaggerated. Regarding the transfer market, they didn't make big things, they earned more than they spent but it seems they are going in the right path. Next game vs Mainz will be challenging, the next one should be easy vs Darmstadt. I think they will stay in top position for a while.
