1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't gamble if you don't have patience on: May 22, 2023, 09:51:34 PM
There is a saying that gambling is a matter of patience. He who cannot endure should stay away from gambling. Otherwise, the results will not be good at all. The gambler can gain a great advantage if he knows his own limits. Sometimes you can avoid big losses by reducing the amount of money you play. There are many different methods like this. However, in summary, we need to learn to be patient.
It is about being patient and also knowing how to manage ones money. For example, when I roll dices and my budget is relatively limited, let us say, 20$. I would not wager all of it at the same time in a X2. My session would the over before I reached the first 30 seconds of logged in.  Tongue

To be honest, I am not sure what has more weight over a good gambling session, we are talking about patience, but does patience even matter when one is having a very lucky day? That is another debate we could have, I guess.
Luck is an unexpected thing and it can occur anytime, so patience obviously plays a great role even during days when you are lucky. Let's take the example that you used to describe this. If you have a budget of $20 and you spend it all on a single bet with a 2x multiplier, you might lose the first bet because we all know that there is a house edge and luck in gambling plays a bit differently.

If you divide that budget into 20 bets with each bet being worth $1, you might end up getting something unexpected, but for that, you must be playing in a slot machine since you can't win a lot with a dice game.
Luck is something that couldnt really be influenced
Luck isnt something that could be altered
Luck isnt something that could be known whether you would be lucky on a certain point

This is why you should really be having that realistic approach towards gambling. You cant really be lucky all the time and also in basing on what OP had mentioned about delayed withdrawals due to
high tx fee then you would be likely be spending those balance because you cant really just wait before the fees would normalize or else you would be needing to pay up.
It is really all according into your decision because there are ones who doesnt really care that much about  those fees as long they would be able to pull out their
funds on some platform then they would really just accept on the fee deduction no matter what the cost. Basing up on recent spike on fees then it is sitting around $20+
i think which it isnt really that big for most gamblers.
1102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lets Brain storm on how to limit losses... on: May 22, 2023, 08:52:22 PM
Every trader has come to that point in their trading history where the had to battle many things when the made their major loss. Some might have had so many bad thoughts flying through their minds while others struggled with emotional trauma. Losses is what no body ever plans for but it happens to be one of the major experience every trader must taste.

Most traders have also had their greedy moments turn out too hash on them. Some out of taking revenge on the market made tribble loss and many who feel extremely confident even when they are making wrong analysis have also tasted losses. Some even jump into trading premature maybe after getting an overview of what trading entails the feel confident and wants to explore themselves.

What led to your major loss in the market as for me it was staying too long on a trade i was making good profit before it turned all red and while waiting for the market to finish the correction moves i ended up losing everything.  How about you?
Losses are inevitable and instead on freaking out and getting afraid of it, it would be better that you should really be accepting that fact and keeps learning from those mistakes that you have done.
Come to mainly think that market is really that unpredictable and there's no way that we could be able to make out precise trades every single time on which no matter how hard you would really be making out
those technical analysis and fundamentals, it wont still give out that 100% sure profit in regarding with your trades. Dont make yourself that a perfectionist because this would be mainly be the reason
that would really be pushing you to make immediate action or simply would really be affecting your emotion because you would really be that desperate.

One thing you should really be that mindful is that you should really be setting those risks management in tact on where despite of those losses you would be still ending up profitable in the end of the day.
1103  Economy / Gambling / Re: This guy gave a whole prototype of "how live roulette scam us" on: May 22, 2023, 07:54:25 PM
Scamming through roulette is definitely possible. However, can I ask you to gamble a same size bet on all 36 numbers except 0 and see if the casino manages to bring up number 0 only in the very same game? If they do, can you please repeat it and see if they do it again in the next game too? I'm not favoring any casinos here and I know that such practices do take place in roulette, however not all of them would do it.  As well, it's not the casino specifically but the game provider that does this and if that's true, we should never play games from such game providers because they'll only try to loot your money by making you lose every single bet. Even in the game of cards (be it blackjack, poker, andar bahar, etc.) I have witnessed that most of the times, dealer wins. So it's possible that they have something behind the scenes that we don't know about.
The problem with that is, in online casinos there are a lot of people betting on various numbers and other things like odd and even etc. So, unless you find a time when the whole casino is empty, its probably not gonna work. Also, I'm sure they don't make it that obvious if the casino is actually rigged. I'm sure they are smart enough to no rig it everytime or it would be blatantly obvious and easily caught.
They obviously don't make it so obvious, even a kid would know that he is being cheated if this kind of practice is done with them where he leaves only one number blank and only that number comes up every single time. Even if a casino cheats, they do it in such a way that their gamblers won't even realize that they are actually being cheated.

When it comes to roulette, I think cheating on it can be pretty easy since there are a lot of outcomes and no one would even doubt if the outcome has been manipulated or controlled by the management in any way possible.
There's no way that they would be making out too obvious for some gamblers would be able to caught up on what they've been doing secretly. Somewhat you could really be able to assume out that the possibility is there specially that we've seen out this kind of way or method of cheating which we cant even tell if this one had already been done out on some cases or simply just newly been busted up or it cant be possible
since its way too obvious?

On the time that you are playing and you've noticed out something in your very own eyes, Then what you would gonna do? Would you really tend to make up some moment on suing them out directly?
What if your accusations were wrong? For sure you would be having doubts on pushing out that kind of justice just because you do have those hunches that you've been cheated.
This is why if ever someone do make out some possible observation or have odd feeling then they would surely just keep it on their own rather than on making a scene.
1104  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this considered a safe practice on: May 20, 2023, 08:29:12 PM
If the gambling company is well-reputable, then spending that kind of amount to reach the bonuses may be a good idea to save money in the future.
That is definitely be frowned upon considering it's gambling and there's no certainties that you can win and save money on those bonuses. Let us say you collected a staggering bonus yet you're on a loss, that for sure will be a bad practice. Moreover, banks doesn't consider gambling for credit score.

Maybe he can get that bonus but he has to remember that in gambling, we can't always win after getting that bonus. Many of us experience loss even though we get bonuses, which is why we don't need to chase bonuses if we feel they are difficult to get. It's better to just play gambling as usual without purpose other than just to get pleasure from gambling. And using a credit card just to get a bonus is not a good idea considering we have to prepare some money to be paid to the bank and we also don't know how much we will lose.
Conditions must apply to qualify for the bonus. If those conditions cannot be fulfilled properly. Then there will be no possibility of getting bonus. However, if one's personal information is shared for the purpose of getting something of this uncertain nature, then there is danger involved. Providing information in countries where gambling is not currently permitted is a risky proposition. There are many ways to make a deposit but I would never support it with a credit card. Also, if there is a new site to do this kind of work, no matter how big the bonus amount, I will not be attracted until I am sure about that site.
I think you are just like me, because for me, bonuses have never really been a thing to take seriously, most especially bonus from casinos, and this is because most of the bonus being offered by casinos are nothing but a way to lure gamblers into wagering much more than they can afford to lose.
Bonuses I am mostly interested in are bonuses without any strings attached, like the monthly reward shared among gamblers based on the amount wagered by the user in the course of that amount.
As long it wouldnt really be having those terms or wagering condition then it would really be considered good but for those who do still require(normal) or casual thing then it wouldnt really be giving out that kind of
shock anymore specially into those gamblers who are really aware on how these bonuses do works and what are the terms attached to it. If you are a complete noob into this market then you would really be definitely
be seeing to these bonuses to be that amazing just because you would really be having those thoughts that these are things which would be giving out that kind of advantage since your bankroll is really becoming
more bigger or simply been widen up on which means that you would be thinking that it is really advantageous but on the time that you would be needing to wager or aware on whats are those typical rules,
then this is where you would be saying or telling into yourself that it is really that impossible to reach up such threshold before you could really make out some withdrawal.
1105  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this considered a safe practice on: May 19, 2023, 11:57:27 PM
Is it safe or dumb to use your Credit card for online gambling because of free bonus rewards on signup and initial 3 months purchase? Will you take such risks with your card for such rewards? A friend informed me that some casinos gives better reward if you have a credit card with high credit score at around 800, he mentioned how he make 200$ from Freedom Flex after using over 600$. He also mentioned other like capital one

What are the disadvantages of using a credit card on online casinos? Any? Would you dare do such to earn more money?
Using credit cards for gambling doesn't seems a great practice but when you have the money and intention of gambling as well then you can use the card to access the available perk and just repay the credit card bill even before the bill generation so it won't affect anything also will help you to obtain the available extra perk. But when you do it with the intention of making money then its wrong and imagine what if you didn't win bets and you don't have money to pay back the bill on time?
Gambling often causes to lose extra money in our budget, this can happen in many cases also. But the point is that if you keep the money under your control then you can obviously get into gambling at some point from that situation. Credit card gambling facility is accepted as a really good facility but if the bill is not paid at the end of the month then the gambler has to count the extra money. Don't consider gambling as your another income source. Just try to accept it another place of entertainment.
Everything should really be on controlled manner specially with finances because on the time that you would really be losing your control then this is where things get messy. You would really be definitely be able to
experience the worst if you are really that irresponsible with your spending or you would really be having that kind of uncontrolled manner. Getting some bonuses on using up your card wont really be that bad
but always stick with your budget because on the time that you would really go with those limit lines then this is where things becomes complicated and if you dont like for this thing to happen.
So better stop now and avoid on using up your CC. Im not saying that cc spending is bad but most likely people do really have  that worst experience and nightmare on using up
these cards but not all the time.It would always vary on a certain individual.
1106  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: May 19, 2023, 09:52:58 PM
[quote author=Wend
In conditions like this i think it comes back to his own perspective whether he really wants it or not.
My point is that when we borrow money it doesn't mean that it's also the wrong thing to do because everything has its own conditions and strategies in investing. for example we know that Saylor is someone who is very rich compared to us ordinary people but he borrows money with the aim of investing. He was aware of his condition and doing so was not a stupid move but had his own strategy to carry out.
But for me, even though it's not my fault, it's better to avoid it because I'm aware of my own capacity because that doesn't mean I can't afford to get a refund, but I think it's actually making it difficult for me so I won't be in any kind of loan for investment as for for other people, especially those who are stable in financial condition, even more, I will not suggest or forbid because it is their right, regardless of right or wrong, they know the consequences that will get.
Credit is always a risk if we are talking about investing with this credit money. I have not seen a single example with evidence here, when someone took a loan, bought bitcoin with this money and was able to make money on it.

The difficulty lies in the fact that it is too difficult to determine the price movement, or you can get into a long period of flat movement, or even worse, a fall. I see no reason to take risks because I value my investment and the most important thing for me is not to lose it. It is possible that Seylor has a much greater financial capacity and can calculate the risks, but I do not see myself using a loan for this purpose.
As i said, this depends on perspective, because in terms of what conditions we feel and what other people feel is clearly different.
We have to be aware of our own condition whether we are able or not to borrow with the aim of investing and I also emphasized before that such a thing is also not wrong because those who borrow to invest have their own strategy.
Regardless of whether there is evidence or not, the most important thing in this case is to know yourself. If indeed you are able to do that then it's not a problem as long as you know the risks but vice versa if indeed you feel you will have difficulties and hassles with loans like this then don't do things that will make it difficult for you in the end.
We are the ones who do make out our own future and situation on which it would really be just that right that we should do on what the best for us or something beneficial. If you do look that taking a loan and investing to Bitcoin would be a good choice then its your call, as long you are really that responsible on paying up those dues on the time it would really come. In overall its not really that something recommendable if we do speak about investing into Bitcoin, we do know the risks behind which we cant be sure on what the future holds, if you could bare up with the risks and could gamble out then its your call.
Just really be that so sure when it comes to risks management because not all would really be that risk takers and some are making some impulsive decisions just because they've been just simply
hyped up or being fomo with someone and this is why always be on your mind and you own senses on the time that you would be making out such decisions like this.
1107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: May 19, 2023, 07:55:47 PM
Meanwhile, here is Eddy Reynoso's say on KingRy. He might be welcomed again but he needs to follow Reynoso's rules and not his. But I have doubt that this will happen if Canelo will face an uphill battle next with the likes of Bivol.
---

Well, that confirms the story of Ryan's trainer, Joe Goosen, as he also said few weeks ago that Ryan Garcia was indeed a lazy type of boxer who doesn't do a lot of training to help him with his movements because he's so reliant on what he have right now, which is his left hook. I wonder why it took some couple of years for Eddy Reynoso to reveal this and make a statement because people have been thinking that he just got no time with Ryan because that's what the kid said but in reality, it's Garcia who does have a problem and not the people around him.

He's leaning with what he got and think that it's enough to win a fight, yes it gives him those previous wins but against a champ
that skills was being exposed and he suffered a lost.

If the kid will not try to enhance his skills and will continue to think that what he got now is enough, then we might see him suffer to another loss.

It's on him if he will take that challenge to change his mind set and start aiming for good enhancement of his skills, more on
footwork's and stamina.

I thought he already learned his lessons to be a much better boxer when Campbell exposed his weakness but I was wrong as from his trainers words, Ryan Garcia was not displaying any dedication to win a fight because he's not having intense preparations just like what a regular boxer does. It turns out that he was just overrated by the hype build by his team but when faced the Davis, everything has shattered into pieces which kind of explains why there was nobody on his side during the post-fight interview.

Most probably, we all have the same assumptions after that fight because it's just hard to think that his camp and Ryan himself will not be motivated after what happened as that particular fight almost gave him his first defeat and it was Campbell who first made Ryan Garcia an open book for his next foe's advantage. And unfortunately, we had the wrong assumption and even Golden Boy himself was not happy with it either because after he gave Ryan a two-easy fight, he still did not improve.
If he wont really be changing up the behavior then we wont really be shocked that if this man would really be losing up his career due to lots of losses and other criticisms. Its good to see about these sentiments
for him not to follow up orders in speaking about trading routines which it is really that a must thing for a boxer to follow on and something that do talks about discipline. Boxing isnt really just like
chilling and having some small time trading plus those interviews. If you would be having this kind of mindset and on the time that you would realize that there's no one would like to interview you. LOL!
He would be needing to make up those adjustments and should really be that somewhat serious if he do wants to improve more and would really be changing up his course.
He shouldnt really be that too confident on what he currently have because there are lots of strong and better boxers way above or ahead of him. Continuous lose would definitely
make out a huge impact on his career.
1108  Economy / Speculation / Re: FTX recovered $7.3B in Assets and is considering restarting! on: May 18, 2023, 11:10:12 PM
Good news for investors who have lost their money. They should not leave anyone suffering. So what will they do to regain the lost trust? I'm really wondering this. So, will people be able to trust the stock market again, which they trusted as before? They need to solve the problems and take the next steps accordingly. I hope everything goes well and everyone can make up for their loss.
It's a good move from ftx exchange to return money to those who were victimized. But I guess it's going to take a long time or it's just sweet talk. For now I don't follow the developments that are happening here but if FTX manages to return all the investors money of course they will be appreciated as high as possible by crypto players but if they want to start over it will definitely be difficult to attract many investors to trade on their platform.

As if this is news that has been waiting for quite a while but the lack of updates on their Twitter page I think this problem will take quite a long time to complete perfectly. Sam Bankman-Fried he deceived many people just for the sake of his life he deserves to be jailed and charged with multiple articles.
If they would be giving back those funds from their users then we can really commend into that, but trusting them once again? For sure people would really be having those doubts because just like on what others
been saying above that it would really be hard to give back the trust of those users after all the things that happened. Some might really be reconsidering out or giving the chance but most of them would be finding
another place on which they could really be store up their assets or make trading or whatever they do want to do on having those platforms with no issues. Its over for them because no matter how
many times they would be making some rebranding, but still people couldnt really just put up the trust that they wanting. It cant really be just possible even if they would be putting
a new management. Trust isnt something that would really be easy on taking it back fully.

There is not safe about using credit cards for gambling  especially  now  that the gambling industry  is full with alot of restrictions and with a credit card, I think all your privacy is gone.
Before using credit cards on gambling  platforms, please ensure you also check the gambling regulations  of that very country if gambling  is allowed or not as since deposit  will be made through debit cards, I believe that withdrawals will also be made through the credit cards and if there is a huge winning, there might be possibilities  of legal actions on you and my advice in general  is that no one should use his or her credit card to gamble so as to stay at the safer side.
No matter which angle you would be looking then reading up site terms or simply their TOS would always been that recommendable not only just via dealing up with gambling space but also in other platforms or companies
that you would be dealing into or simply making out some deposit of funds on whatever options it would take. There's always a corresponding terms into that which you would really be needing to read up and be aware of.
Getting bonuses on using up your CC"s for that $200 add up more then its good to see and getting that kind of offer on which if you are a gambler then you would likely be taken up that offer and would directly
be getting that kind of opportunity which it isnt really that an opportunity at all but rather its a trap or pit hole because if we do consider those bonuses does have their wager requirement which is normal then
you would be likely be still able to bust up all of your balance on the time that you would be playing.
1110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earning online more preferable than offline? on: May 18, 2023, 08:43:41 PM
Earning money online is far superior to working at a physical establishment during the day. Although offline is highly appreciated and difficult. Trading is a great approach to find your true self. It will put everything to the test, including your greed, emotions, patience, discipline, how you handle failure, control, common sense, and resolve. I strongly advise anyone who is going through a terrible time in their life to learn to trade since it provides them a clear sense of purpose other than waiting for jobs. So, which is better, online or offline?
Trading is a good alternative if you want to earn online. However it's not easy as what you think it is because many traders as well decided to quit because of frequent losses. The reason why it is not advisable for beginners to leave their job to be a trader and see for themselves if it is profitable to go full-time.

So, which is better, online or offline?
Online is better, less expenses for transportation and food plus you hold your time depending on what your job is. Moreover, the ways to earn are not only limited in trading (it's just one of your option) since there are plenty of opportunity to earn online and it depends on your knowledge and skills.
When we do speak about expenses then working on the convenience of your own home or simply online does really save you up big time. From transportation until to your food allowance then you could  really be able to
save it up just because you are on your own home, the only thing or issue for some people is that they do really lack some socialization from other people which it is really that true when you do work from home
but there are people who do prefer on this way on which i do even really likes on doing so because it is really that calm and peaceful which is away from other peoples eyes and you could really make out some
relax or make some snacks on the time you do want which is something that you cant do when you are inside of an office. When it comes to salary then it would vary but we cant really deny the fact that online
works or jobs does could possibly be able to give more income on a certain individual but of course it would really be varying on what job you do have online or the things you've been engaging through it.
Not all jobs would really be giving out that huge income and when it comes to competition then you would really be making yourself get hardly be able to get one if you arent really
that good enough.

If you know for yourself that you can manage that and its just for one time swipe only just to take the bonus then yeah its still a safe practice to use your card. But make sure that you only swipe it once and never decide to do that again. Since if you repeat it for many times since you became more comfortable using it due to convenience it bring then maybe you are in great risk to get broke because for sure in long run you cannot notice that your debt became more bigger and bigger.
Doesnt matter whether you are making use of your card neither on gambling or simply on shopping, if you do create that kind of behavior on which you do continuously swipe your card but hardly pays off on the time
that it would really be asking out for repayment then this is where problem do build up. Its a safe practice if you do always set up limits. If you are pertaining about getting some bonuses on using up your cards,
then ti wont really be that bad but if you are already that doing into a certain extreme extent then this is where problems do starts. Everything would really be depending or varying on someones decision and taking
because not all would really be that good or really that getting in line with the right stuff but rather they would really be going into the opposite and this is where they do putting up themselves on trouble.

Hey guys. I’m just want to hear something encouring and confirm my assumptions. 🙏 I want to be someday (i hope that it will be possible in next bullrun) independent of money from my family. I’m since 2010 on wheelchair because of failed surgery and interrupted my spinal cord. I have multiple health problems, mainly resulting from paralysis.  I have little chance of having a high paying job due to my health problems and unfortunately incomplete education. But my expenses are too high. I am able to invest 20-30 euros per month and I really want to believe that one day thanks to this regular investment I won't have to ask my family for help. I’m 14 months in world of Bitcoin! I’m excited and my hope in BTC is probably actually bigger than the fact that one day I will walk again  Grin
HODL and believe with me, please!  Smiley

Sorry for my english, it is not my native language, but tried my best  Smiley
Really sad to hear up your health condition but its good to see that you are really indeed thriving to make yourself way better not only on physical but you are minding on not being a burden into your family. If ever you do able to make investment 20-30 euros per month then it wont be that bad but making up some calculations then it would really be that 360 euros yearly and we know the fact or reality that having these amounts wouldnt
really be putting you into a condition on which you would really be financially be stabled. Im not really that discouraging you but its better not to hope that much and you might be ending up on disappointment and
frustration because you havent gained something that big. Somehow, dont stop on what you are currently trying out to achieve because you would be unconsciously be able to save up and might become
that bigger on the time comes but of course dont expect something because in every investments there's always an accompanied risks to that.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: May 17, 2023, 09:42:34 PM
Never heard this before but I think before the casinos allows you to play and pay later there must be a collateral because the casinos knows that winning is very low and there’s a big chance for you to lose the money so why those casinos will allow you to borrow money?

Well, I think this kind of offer are only available to their loyal players, have no idea how this works but its strange to see casinos doing this, its like they are more greedy and encourage those gamblers to gamble more even if they have no money at all.

when you talk about casinos, high likely that his friend owed such amount was because he used his credit card or he loaned money from someone else and used it in the site. i don't think any casino would allow the paylater scheme as i never heard of such feature before.
remember they are in this business and they want to make sure their business won't be in the verge of bankruptcy owed to this feature. gamblers borrow money all the time from whoever will lend them money even with high interest.
Come to think with this scenario:

1. Casinos lend money into their gamblers, if they win big then they would simply be cashing out those money deducted from the winning - NEGATIVE - It would affect profitability
They are really just making some suicide decision which would affect out their companies profitability.
2. Casinos lend money into someone to play- If they do lose, what they would get? So its useless.

Its true that there's no such feature on whatever platform that do exist today, which does simply shows or means that his friend might ended up on taking up some loan
into someone or do make use of his credit card for him to play. You cant possibly borrow into the platform which you are tending to play. LOL!
1114  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you spend more-do you get more? on: May 17, 2023, 08:48:29 PM
There is an opinion that the more money you spend, the more you get in return, it is interesting to find out who really works in this direction.
What I know is that the more you invest, the more likely it will be returned Cheesy But we have to realize that spending a lot is wasteful in my opinion and I don't really agree with something like that.

Investment is what we should focus our minds on than spending, which means even though we will be spending money, it must be limited to what we earn and we should invest a larger portion of our money on profitable assets and spend less, not everyone that knows how to achieve this because they believe in wrong theories they have been told several times by the wrond ideas received from those not performing well in theirs.
spending money without rules and continuously will actually make us more seen to be hedonists. In this case, it is different from what we are talking about Investment. Therefore, I have different opinions about spending and investing, which makes me disagree with what OP said.

I think everyone will also understand how when we shop because it also has its own responsibility because when we can't manage things like that and shop continuously without knowing the limit it's not a good thing I think so in this case it's really the difference clear. Shopping is to spend money but when investing it can be another meaning because I feel it is still so much better than that (shopping). doesn't mean I don't like shopping in this case, but my point is to shop according to needs, not just based on desires.
There are types of spendings.

1. Spending on something like liabilities or simply wants or even needs.
2. Spending up and putting it into investment
3. Spending no giving up support into other people
4. Spending without having no plans or other considerations

You would really be finding yourself getting fucked in the end if you dont really have that proper management towards your finances just because you do believe on some sayings or whatsover
with that kind of approach on which you do spend on something which it doesnt really give out any benefits on you on which it is really that very wrong on having that kind of concept or minding towards self.
Spending but not on the sense of investment or business is really something that would be putting up on trouble.
1115  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational Parade on: May 16, 2023, 11:48:36 PM
in the video, it is not explained which region (city) it comes from but it is clear that the parade is from my country, in the parade it is clear what slot players get when they play from the "first" month (still motorbikes are expensive) to month "fourth" (ugly motorcycle).

without direct education by the central and local governments to young people and the general public, I think this kind of parade is not effective enough, it's even obvious, the parade is the initiative of the private community in the area.

do you think, a parade like this will be effective in reducing the level of gambling addiction?
Were those what the signs meant? I wasn't sure since I couldn't read the entirety of it properly. I actually doubt they intended to send a gambling addiction reduction as a message though, it's more like satire in the sense of gambling and if they did, well, they failed successfully. It is kind of funny though seeing that god of Olympus-themed slots being shown like that.

Even if it was actually intended, I highly doubt it would've been helpful in the first place. Messages like these are easily forgotten since they're more enjoyable (or easy to ignore) at the moment, but easily forgotten once a few hours have passed unless a really memorable event happened, and these kinds of events that aim to reduce gambling addiction don't really give enough of that imo.
But we cant really deny the fact that it would really be possibly be able to create some curiosity on someones mind about on what it is.If they do see that zeus-like on a parade and seeing that text of God of Olympus or whatever slot games names that been displayed then it would really be creating such exposure which could possibly be able to mold up new gamblers out of that parade that they have done. We know that in any business which exposure and marketing does really plays a great role or really giving out some effect which it would be normal that they would be needing to spend up some funds for the sake of exposure.
I dont see any educational benefit or whatsoever on these type of parades but rather it is really just that casual stuff on spreading out awareness and trying to hook up new players to play those type of games.
Engagement would be entirely be depending on a certain individual whether on the time that he do sees this parade, whether they would be searching further on what it is afterwards or just simply
skip it and forget it right away.
1116  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can copy trading be profitable on: May 16, 2023, 10:53:51 PM
OP, it is very possible to earn $20 or even more in day trading with a capital of $2k because that is only 1%. The problem however is the consistency. I really doubt it. I did this many times before and sometimes with even less than a 1% daily target but it didn't work out.

Are you busy in life that you cannot study trading? Just learn the basics and then start finding someone you can copy trade on Twitter or Telegram or Tradingview. Avoid paying to day traders offering you copy trades or signals because most of the time it won't work.
You did what? Copy trading? Or you are the ones who trade on your own? Maybe you aren't really good in trading, that is why you are struggling to make a good income but if we are only going to copy a trader especially a really good one then they might make us consistent profit. The only way to find out is to try.

It's not that he is busy but maybe he is only lazy or find it hard to learn on his own because you know, trading is not an easy activity but it requires a good head and a lot of patience. Twitter is a social media and telegram is a messaging app, also known as scammers den. I will go for tradingview when it comes to trading matters.
Finding out whether you are profitable on following someone is something that you could answer on your own because we would be following into someone who would be likely on the top of the charts in speaking about profitability and overall statistics. The question is, could we be possibly be profitable? Yes and No and there's only two possible answers to that but in speaking about long term aspect and if you are really that heavily
reliant into a specific trader to handle or follow your trading positions then it would really be that a total disaster if ever he would stop. Would you find another trader to patch up the spot or you would be minding
to make yourself able to have your own trading strategies and ways or something that called analysis with your trades? Its up to someones preference because not all would really be having the time but
in speaking about capital or investment then it isnt really just that ideal that you would really be that be relying into those traders considering that we are just all speculators on this market.

Sharing my personal experience of my recent losses so that no one will commit this same mistake. Bet responsibly. I will stay away from gambling for a while now that mempool is starting to suck once again.

DON'T GAMBLE IF THE INSTANT WITHDRAWAL IS NOT AVAILABLE!
Now is the time for gamblers to have the biggest patience in the world. Staying way from gambling or online casinos the best decision you have make for yourself right now. I am here wondering how many gamblers can share the same of how much losses they have had within the last couple of weeks. I know you may be tempted to keep gambling because the transaction delay but don't. There's nee other way to say more than the OP has.
You would really lose up money if you are really that impulsive when it comes to your emotion on which you would really be having that kind of act on all-in bets just because you do have in mind that you cant really be able to withdraw right away then it wouldn't be that bad for you to play even more while waiting. Just like on what others been saying above that if you are a kind of person who do have that short patience or having that short temper then you would likely to be doing such act on where you would be playing even more. This is why on the time that you do have this kind of feeling then it would be better that you should
really be finding other activities which would divert out your attention. Making some withdrawal request on the time that the network congestion is already that been solved or already fine.
There's no such thing that we can do if the network is something like this where it does have lots of pending request but if a casino could be having that dynamic fee then it wont be a problem but for sure
it would be taking up a huge slice into your balance which is something that we dont really like.
1118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OG Bitcoin Wallet Addresses Suddenly Active - Are they being hacked? on: May 16, 2023, 08:38:51 PM
Recently I was visiting one of my friends who writes code, he brought up this topic to me recently saying that it seems like old wallets are being hacked into, that hackers have targeted older BTC addresses because of their vulnerabilities and lack of security.

I thought that was very interesting and since he is a tech savvy coder his use of relevant jargon and explanation was so good, I just wish I remembered exactly how he put it. I did a quick search though and found this relevant article: https://cryptoslate.com/old-wallets-activate-sparking-fears-of-mass-hack-targeting-bitcoin-veterans/

Could it be that folks have figured out how to crack the codes on these old private keys? IF so, they are seeing some massive pay days, EH?
If bruteforcing Bitcoins privatekeys is indeed possible then for sure people would really be flocking away into other altcoins in the market considering that security is really at risks or something have the issue.
Just like on what others been saying on here that it cant really be that possible that those old wallets could really be hacked. If ever those coins become active once again and made out some
transactions then there's only two things in my mind;

1. Owners had recently found out their keys after a long time of searching
2. Owners had decided for them to snip out some funds or profits on their wallets for a very long time.

I dont really believe that being hacked would really be the case on here on which it is really that something impossible on bruteforcing it out or breaking its security.
Finding a single privatekey on a certain address is impossible.

SOURCE--

in the video, it is not explained which region (city) it comes from but it is clear that the parade is from my country, in the parade it is clear what slot players get when they play from the "first" month (still motorbikes are expensive) to month "fourth" (ugly motorcycle).

do you think, a parade like this will be effective in reducing the level of gambling addiction?

I view this kind of advertisement as positive instead of negative since this parade is unique. Many people that will watch this scene find it new and might be interested to search for the games and curious to the game.

Instead of reduction probably there might be a conversion to gambler result with this kind of advertisement since it’s on a public without moderation of viewers.

People curiosity will always kicks in on this kind of scenario that will trigger them to gamble since this is new despite the negative propaganda. An example for this are cigarettes, Government in my country attached grossed picture on cigarette packs that related to diseases that you can get on cigarettes yet people keeps ignoring it because they like the product. This might be the same outcome on this kind of advertisement.
Unique indeed and this is my first time on seeing that having that Slot games/types kind of parade which does have that particular costume basing up on the slot theme or name which its true that i dont see it for it to be negative or having no sense. This kind or type of parade is neither be prohibited or not but it would all boils down into a countries jurisdiction or laws in correlation with gambling industry. If its heavily regulated or
something that been allowed then its normal that these parade would really be allowed. It would really be just depending on the people if they would neither be playing those slots game
after they had saw it or would really just simply skip it away.It does really differ on personal preference and actions to be made of. Its not something educational because playing
slots doesnt really need that crucial thinking or ways on how to play it. For exposure then its a good one but for educational? Its meh.
1120  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you spend more-do you get more? on: May 15, 2023, 10:48:13 PM
There is an opinion that the more money you spend, the more you get in return, it is interesting to find out who really works in this direction. I spend enough money, but I have a fixed income, therefore I will not be able to get more. I don't have rich relatives, and I don't expect an inheritance either. I want to get rich, not to deny myself, but I have to save on everything. Who really faced big expenses and received even more? How does it work, maybe I don't understand the essence of it correctly?

To me, the sentence just seems absurd.I don't believe it works out that way, that the more money you spend, the more you do it. I might just accept the @hyphen(-) statement that it might just be a proverb or wise saying, but I believe it may  mean something else different.

The only way in which I can see it happening is in a business because, in that setting, capital is what mostly determines profits in a business, therefore the more someone invested the more it returns might be.But extravagant spending without additional sources of income will undoubtedly result in debt.

Anything which is excess would really be always that ending up on a disaster whether you are really that dealing with investment or business or would really be just that typical day of extravagant spending would really be leading into a condition where you would really be putting yourself into so much debt or loans just because you are spending too much more than on what you do earn.No matter or which angle you would be looking, it isnt something that ideal that you must do because it would really be that would really be putting you into a big trouble on the time that you dont have money left on your bank account or simply on your pocket.
If you dont like to have some sort of financial problems or challenges then you should really be that wise on the things that you do spend. Dont tend to believe into those sayings about giving more would really be
getting back. What you do actually expect on getting back on something? We know that if you wont make a business or investment then there's no way on getting back on something. So
there's no point on spending up more which is more than on the amount of income you are getting, you are just simply taking up some suicide decisions in life.
