how do u sell what u don't have? Huh

and how am i suppose to do what others aren't, when i don't know what are they not doing? Undecided
He just means don't ride the hype, trend, or whatever they call it nowadays.
It's the basics of trading but sometimes it doesn't go that way. There are instances where an asset will keep on pumping while you already left the boat.
So, you need to be careful with all the decision. Just think about if you sell at $1 then it pumped again making a new bottom which is $2. Now, will you still buy that same asset when you consider how expensive it is with the new price even after a dump?
That's when you monitor the price, be sure your sell point is high enough so you won't have doubts when you buy back.

Gala coin. No doubt.
Background checked. The creators of the game have the experience of making good games in the past and even injected in social media.
Plus, he is known so there is no backing out or his credentials will be tainted which will lead to a worse position if he ever want to create another gaming platform.
I am invested with Mirandus and waiting for the launch. I wish it will be as good as they say it.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 20, 2022, 01:34:21 PM
Nah, I just feel that he is trying his best but he is not really fit with the team. We have lots of players in the past that were not so effective in a certain team but when get traded they were so valuable piece in the roster. I remember one player, do you see the performance of DeRozan this season? he is so impressive, right? well, this man is the center of criticism when he was still playing wth the Spurs, but look at him now, he turns into hero.
Not just Spurs, way back with the Raptors. He was pounded by different criticism but he didn't take it to heart. He just improved his game and where would it be best to do, with Pops. He learned discipline and being a team player and now we are witnessing the fruits of it.
About Westbrook, I think he got used to being the leader, he was even branded as "stats paddler". He was a ball hog, there is no doubt about it and I think there are still remnants of that behavior that's why he's having a difficult time to adjust with someone else who had been a leader ever since the Cavaliers era. Lebron James.
1104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bounce back to 60k in this year? on: March 19, 2022, 05:54:01 PM
Anything is possible but given the economy of the world due to the war that is happening then add the new Covid variant, I think that a bull will not be an easy thing to happen. World events do effect the demand and if people are starving who would even think about investing their money in Bitcoin.
All I could see is businessmen who will take advantage of this and we are not sure if Bitcoin is in the corner of their mind to invest with.
$60k is possible, I am not losing hope about that, but assurance that it will be this year is blurry.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins will explode in 2022? on: March 19, 2022, 04:35:37 PM
XRP should be considered as they might win their case.
Ethereum also if they finish the POS.
Hmm. What else? You got a good long list to pick there. Gala seems like in a good position with their game developments and more investors are buying their nodes which for me is a bit expensive but there are buyers so its cool.
LUNA seems to be a good choice after it overtakes SOL and ADA.
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 19, 2022, 11:29:48 AM
6- Sixers loss due to Simmon's low basketball IQ,... kidding.  Smiley
Cheap shot.  Cheesy
See, we don't like that. Social media will be filled with fake basketball analyst again if all this injuries will happen before the playoffs. We don't like that.

The game results today seems to not side with the spreads. Hawks was underdogs but they won against the Grizzlies. Lakers was +10 if I remember but they managed to win in overtime. That's one of their best games after their losing streak, except for the Lebron madness with two 50+ points.
My Nuggets team losing against the Cavs and Nets not covering the spread. A lot of gamblers might've loss a lot of money today.
1107  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a place in the world you could live like a king via sig campaigns? on: March 19, 2022, 08:54:09 AM
That tells me that there's something to it, because there's no way father, sons, mom, and whatever grandparents are still alive would be bounty hunting if it weren't at least a little bit lucrative.  So I'd love to know how far campaign earnings ($1500 per week for 5 people in my example) could be stretched.  Are there actually places out there where one could not only survive but thrive by earning bitcoin on the forum?
Thrive, yes. Live that would provide shelter, food, and necessities and maybe more, yes. Depends on each person if they would share equally.
But this thing will just be effective if those 5 people that earns $300 each (per week? am I right?) are all single. Living the life.  Grin
That amount though will not suffice for a man who needs to feed a kid and a wife. I mean the $300. It's way different if you singlehandedly shoulder everything. I've heard stories about that it can in other countries but I doubt it can bring a kid to college.
Edit: Sorry I forgot it's for a week, my mind keeps on telling me it's for a month. I am changing to yes, it will suffice.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which two coins should I add to my portfolio? on: March 18, 2022, 06:32:09 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5348383.180

Most people say that they prefer MATIC over SOL.

20% Ethereum (ETH) - 4-7% staking
8% Terra (LUNA) - 3-6% staking
8% Solana (SOL) - 6% staking
8% Avalanche (AVAX)
8% Polkadot (DOT) - 12% staking
8% Shiba Inu (SHIB)
8% Polygon (MATIC)
8% Cosmos (ATOM) - 12% staking
8% Decentraland (MANA)
8% The Sandbox (SAND)
8% Axie Infinity (AXS)

Is there another coin of my portfolio that can be dropped? Or should i keep all of them?
It's hard for me to keep SOL when 9 out of 10 people say MATIC will have the better future ...

I voted for Terra so that's not one of the choices, imo.
Is Axie Infinity that still good for an investment. I checked the movement before and I have given up on it. Sure, there are still a lot of players but the value of it went down at a substantial rate so I have already sold it and moved on.
I don't know about others if they think there's still a good future for it, but for me I am done with it.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 18, 2022, 04:41:43 PM
Playoffs would be boring if the stars will not play.

We need to see Curry and Chris Paul in their uniform in the playoffs because that makes the playoffs more exciting and we will see a deserving team to win the playoffs. On the news that I read regarding their injury, it didn't say that they'll be out in the season, so we have to be optimistic that they will return soon.
Yes, so true. Also, that takes out the bad reasoning being done by the fans of each team. Like "Phoenix Suns lose because there is no CP3." I don't like to hear that. So it would be better if all of them will be healthy although that is impossible with how they play at full force during the playoffs.
Something bad will always happen, either a punch to the face, an elbow, or a foot being left at where the shooter will land.
I still want to see them play at that time to avoid those kinds of reasons by the bandwagons and it's more entertaining to see them silenced and bleeding to find the cause of their respective team's defeat.  Grin
1110  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin VS Oil VS Russia VS Ukraine on: March 18, 2022, 12:44:21 PM
The first effect I saw was when Ukraine was accepting Bitcoin as donations. That increased BTC price to $43k, not accurate, somewhere that number.
But then, it needs to be spend to provide the needs of the people affected by the war and so it went back minus $4k or more.
What I want to see is for it to go back up due to the value of Ruble going south. They will buy other commodities, exchange it for another currency, or cryptocurrencies to retain its value. But it's not happening yet so they might be purchasing other types of investments.
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive Income From Staking Stablecoins? on: March 17, 2022, 05:16:48 PM
It sounds easy when said like that. But have you ever thought about or imagine what you would really do if all that money is in your hands? For real.
In my case, I won't go crypto.
I'll try to secure everything first for my kids. I have a house which is not paid fully, but I do want a business that would make me passive money and not in crypto just yet.
There are other things you could invest with and it'd be better if you can see it and try to grow it.
You can put some in crypto but it should never be all. Better would be a fall back and where your wife and family will be happy too.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 17, 2022, 02:37:57 PM
~
SEE!
Thank you for the update.
Kevin Durant is right. People are going in and out different facilities now and most are unvaccinated. First reason, after 6 months it should wear off and take a booster. I doubt everyone took it because of the pain it creates after you take the shot. Most of the time a 2 day no movement, fever, and body ache. Who likes that?
I think the point of KD is they are playing with him in different States but no one is infected. Same locker room, sitting side by side in the bench and even hugging with other players.
But the reason for the other party not letting him play might be to avoid people doing the same thing as him. If they just let him go, it might spark chaos.
1113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand or know the whale's next move? on: March 17, 2022, 10:11:43 AM
Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if there is any forum, website, subreddit or a threading discussion in this forum about what the whales are going to do or if there is a channel where they talk/share their next moves.

I've read that some users here read about this kind of topic but they didn't share any post or link to the source.

Thank you for your time.
Because it doesn't exist or if they are, no one will leak it out or they die.  Grin
These are whales we are talking about and they have the money and power to do so. They won't even think twice about doing the bad thing to protect their identity.
If you insist, try Telegram. I have seen a lot of offers there and I think what you are looking for is a signal from them. Beware though, most of them are scams. But if you get one for free, why not.
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt market today on: March 16, 2022, 05:38:35 PM
Well it went to $44k just weeks ago so I won't consider anything for now.
Time of the year where there is a pandemic, a war, and economy from different parts of the world are giving us a problem due to expensive rates of literally anything.
I don't think there will be more people having the thought of investing in BTC or altcoins if their pockets have gone dry.
Just be patient for now and if everything goes right we might see a bull in a couple of years.
1115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 16, 2022, 11:51:23 AM
On the other hand, the other three games of the night turned out as expected. Grizzlies, Heat and Suns had relatively easy wins. To me, it seems like Heat will hold on to the top spot in the east.
They are balanced. That's what I think which is the reason for their success. Same with the Phoenix Suns, a balanced team that is difficult to defeat because they can play small and also play big with McGee, Ayton, and Byombo just there if they will be up against giant teams like Nuggets or 76ers.
Miami Heat has Bam and he had been productive after coming back from an injury. The paint is secured because of him and he can score right away.
One more player that had been stepping up his game his Tyler Herro. Good future smiling at him.
1116  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanction is the right option? on: March 16, 2022, 08:44:37 AM
It's an option to topple the economy of Russia but it doesn't mean it will be successful.
There are other countries who does need the supply of oil and look at it this way, in their country they will have the higher supply which means better economy, bills going down and gas price sinking. While us who are affected by the sanction will also sacrifice with the sudden price hikes.
Middle East will put a higher value in it because of the demand.
Again, this war is not about them because they are not the ones being affected. It is us below but they will force their egos just to prove who is the strongest.
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 15, 2022, 04:23:04 PM
Also of course since my Chicago bulls are finally playing well. It’s about time for them lol.

They are playing well but recently they have some trouble winning games. I know they are already guaranteed with a playoff spot due to their good standing, however, I'm a bit worried that they might struggle in the playoffs and they'll have an early exit.. I'm hoping it's not gonna happen but I'm a abit worried.
There's no timetable on when Lonzo Ball will return, he was one of the biggest contributor of the team that's why they find success in the first half of the season. Ball handling, play making, and his unselfishness is what made Lavine and DeRozan stand out.
Caruso is back so let's expect some good news while they are finding their way back to achieve better chemistry.
Their next game will be the Jazz and also a championship caliber, this might tell how far they are with that "struggle".
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is NFT basically on: March 15, 2022, 01:38:55 PM
There are different types but mostly in reference with arts.
Photos, videos or clips, and even audios. One example just to give you an idea is collecting NBA cards, Baseball cards, Comics, etc.. That was the old school version of it.
Because only a few of them were made, as long as it is mint and have unique item number they became valuable.
Now do that on a modern version, JPeg versions of NBA cards, clips of baseball winning hits and so on. The same goes with modern arts.
1119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading journals worth it? on: March 15, 2022, 12:23:29 PM
It's not easy to be emotionless during trading so yes, there's a part that it will ruin your plan.
Journals. A simple spreadsheet will help with date, time, entry amount, losses, and gains. But, not all people could do that and just want to trade on spot, do what they can for a day and try to get lucky and make profits. Not lazy people, just don't want the hassle of putting everything on record.
Like for example I put in $1000, while it doesn't go below that or any further below (converted) then one may say he is doing pretty well so jotting everything down is unnecessary.
1120  Economy / Economics / Re: The economy is important for a family! on: March 15, 2022, 11:14:12 AM
IMHO, he/she will learn it eventually. It's in the trend and maybe it will grow even upon our death.
But, if you insist on giving the child to start with then, you could. As long as it's on the level that they can understand. Me? I don't teach my children, not yet. But I do have a high hope that they will bump into it someday and maybe ask me and explain it a little or they can learn it themselves.
Because I think now, even at how much you try to explain it they won't have that delight to listen. It's like politics of our old man back then. We don't really listen.  Cheesy
