I also am no expert on forking. the way im seeing it is say my wallet wasnt connected right until the last block before the blockchain went down, now im connected and my wallet is going from the last block it processed and making a new chain. So if someone,say trex or cryptsy who would have been connected right till the end connected they would be on the original fork(different). Any transactions made in blocks after the last block i was connected to and before the chain died wont be in the fork im on, So it wld be better to find a wallet that was on till the end to ensure blockchain integrity?? I think? Maybe we can get cryptsy to connect to the node??as long as you have wallet.dat from original fork you can go back on it so im not fukt if i have forked it  sorry for the shit attempt at explanation as for client, im on the mac version, that could be reason for difference maybe, dont think there even was more than 1 ?? edit: i think only people who were on the block it was when it forked or before it would be able to connect, hence prob why you cant!? looks like im running on a fork. We need to get someone who has complete chain to start it, ie: Trex or Cryptsy i think!? That's correct. Maybe Bittrex or Cryptsy will post the blockchain online for others to download. If anyone is smart enough they should fork this chain to Ethereums source code. It would make creating a classifieds site a lot easier. |

Could you guys tell me this. Do ethereum addresses keep funds if you send out part of the funds? If this is true it's going to help out my ethereum backend mobile wallet/app. I've always had scalability issues with the wallet.dat growing too much, especially with PoS coins.

Do people really want this to be a PoS+PoW clone of Novacoin? Ethereums blockchain is way better. I believe if this coin was switched to be an Ethereum clone that my scalability issue with https://hemp.cash would be resolved. Right now I can get about 500 users on hemp.cash for $5 of server fees + a lot of work maintaining a bunch of servers. Ethereum might be able to handle 100,000 users for $50 on 1 server (I haven't tested things out yet). hemp.cash went viral and crashed after getting 10,000 users in 48 hours. Ethereum also has smart contracts. |

The 12M you question was included in the genesis, and the total ether in the genesis adds up to 60M, then this 12M you are ranting about is part of that 60M, so it cant be an additional pre-mine can it. I don't want to be mean but @Fuserleer is ignorant and likes to talk without knowledge of things. I was looking for a way to check coin totals and to look at blocks with geth but couldn't figure out how. I decided to run a script to tally up the numbers on https://www.etherchain.org/block/0. The total amount came out to 72008990.49947993 ether coins in the ethereum genesis block. Thanks for going to the effort of proving the premine even though you didn't really prove it. I think it's safe to say that there is definitely a 12 million Ether premine. No problem. I like transparency when it comes to ICOs. Ethereum was not transparent with the ICO. The devs could easily sneak away with way more coins than just this massive premine through their lack of transparency. |

This app is dying just like I thought so. Nxtty has a fraction of marketcap and has a lot more downloads. for all the pretty pictures no one is using this app. fail
What happened with GEMZ was the ICO was over sold. They didn't need as much money as they raised. They also over estimated the user desire to get some of their XCP fake money. User's don't care if the app gives them fake MySQL money or fake blockchain money. So many apps have fake money rewards built in. How much money does the GEMZ team have left? I would assume they still have like 70%+ of the funds. All they did was link telegram to a bitcoin wallet. How much did it cost to do that? $50,000? I believe they raised like a million dollars. |

 Trading at Bittrex seems to be going fine and we have added another exchange in Coingather. We have our sight set on Cryptsy next. We have the BITZ / Cointopay server up and running and so Bitz will integrate their services shortly and so for the first time you will be able to buy stuff using Bitz.  Coming shortly... Otherwise, nothing else is new. I'll let you know when the Cointopay functionality is active... Good News, thanks for update Excellent stuff dev. BITZ is looking good as always. |

I believe they premined it 100%. So they set the sale price of coins.
It's not actually worth that much. If they wanted to sell off all of the coins the marketcap would drop to a few million or less.
