1141  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What I got from my Friend about Bitcoin on: October 03, 2023, 09:43:25 AM
What are you looking for? Are you looking to use Bitcoin as an investment against inflation or increase your assets, or do you want to trade, or learn more about decentralized cash, or make a profit from the forum, or what? The first steps are always difficult, so describing what you are looking for will help you get good information.
You cant get all in one in one thread
1142  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My First Advice To Beginner Traders on: October 03, 2023, 08:22:17 AM
Even after knowing these two reasons, you will not be a professional in trading. It is like saying to a student: If you want to succeed, stay up all night and read hard. It is true that they are good advice and will lead you to success, but they are general and cannot be benefited from. To help in success in trading requires the person to know the basics of analysis. Technically, then build a long-term investment strategy. With more experience and experience, you can make trading a part-time job
This if we can say trading is good for newbie which is not.
1143  Economy / Reputation / Re: This forum is just for high rank member on: October 03, 2023, 08:06:32 AM
why not member does not take newbie report seriosly. Why allow newbie to register. banned all newbie so you big member free, check below and bann
Some reports are created by newbies, especially if the account rank is high, to avoid any future drama. Therefore, the degree of seriousness in dealing with these reports depends on their strength and influence. Finding an account farm with many accounts that spam will have a greater impact than two newbies.
In general, he received neutral trust from one of DTs, and if you proved that he carried out some negative activities, I might give him negative trust. We cannot ban the account, only mods can, and here you must find that he broke one of the forum’s rules, such as plagiarism.
1144  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is cheapest way to buy Bitcoin? on: October 03, 2023, 07:46:20 AM
The cheapest way depends on your country and the payment options available to you. For example, if you are from country
Therefore, unless you mention the name of your country and the payment options available to you that you can make, you will find random suggestions.
Bisq and Binace P2P are where you find these people, and if you are lucky, you may find a user here, and then the fees will be zero.
1145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hacks a double edged sword on: October 02, 2023, 04:44:18 PM
As much as the crypto ecosystem has experienced several hacks over the years which has seen millions of Bitcoins lost to this,  there is actually some good that comes from them besides losing of coins,

The term crypto ecosystem is supposed to mean the crypto ecosystem related to these currencies and not the economic activities associated with Bitcoin. During the past years, and other than Libbitcoin Explorer (bx) are insecure[1], we have not heard attacks or problems related to the crypto architecture associated with Bitcoin or even cryptocurrencies.
What is happening is with software and economic activities related to Bitcoin, from wallets to exchanges to bridges and others.

Share your opinions what do you guys think for Bitcoin/crypto run companies and the security landscape..

All the mistakes I mentioned are related to central platforms and tips such as:

 - Do not trust centralized platforms or withdraw your funds immediately after trading.
 - Use decentralized platforms.
 - Use multi-signature wallets so that if there is a problem with one of them, you will have the opportunity to transfer your funds safely.

[1] [WARNING] Wallets created with Libbitcoin Explorer (bx) are insecure!
1146  Economy / Exchanges / Re: This is good news. I just hope they improve the su got licensed In Singapore on: October 02, 2023, 04:26:32 PM
This is good news. I just hope they improve the support team's services because there are a lot of complaints regarding dealing with the support team.
Does the license require a special domain for customers from Singapore, or is it for settling transactions in the local currency, or is it just allowing users to access bank accounts directly from Coinbase?
I see that they are working on developing products and services specifically designed for Singapore so it seems that the Singaporean market is filled with many traders.

@OP You need to edit the source because it's not working.
1147  Economy / Economics / Re: Honda Now Accepts Bitcoin and Ethereum As Payment Methods on: October 02, 2023, 04:15:59 PM
I read Honda's success story and how it started from a problem between the founder and his wife and how the company developed thanks to the research and development department. The only constant in this company is its awareness of the value of future things before they happen and their acceptance of Bitcoin is a good indicator that the currency will have a good future in the short and long term. I did not read the reason for acceptance. Whether they will keep Bitcoin directly or whether they will convert it into dollars in their bank accounts.

Does it include all Honda dealers and all industries as Honda bikes?
1148  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is it possible to lock change by default? on: October 02, 2023, 03:49:15 PM
But is there any wallet which provide feature to freeze all the addresses at once?
If you freeze all addresses, you will not be able to spend. You are telling the wallet not to use any address as input for the new transaction, and therefore your total inputs will always be zero, and therefore you will not be able to spend.

Freezing some addresses is useful to enhance privacy and reduce fees.
1149  Other / Meta / Re: use bitcointalk usercripts on android on: October 02, 2023, 03:27:17 PM
In case someone is unaware.

Install any extension supported browser (Kiwi/Lemur/Mises), install and open tampermonkey and paste the script.

Bitcointalk scripts can be found here.

This is the first time I've heard of these browsers and I've been ignoring Lemur and Mises due to the low number of downloads but Kiwi seems like a good project.
I searched a little about it and found that it is not a browser that focuses on privacy. They also promote themselves as the fastest and safest, but I am not confident in these claims. In general, I will try it on my spare phone, but thank you.
1150  Economy / Speculation / Re: Even Seasoned Analysts Can Get it Wrong on: October 02, 2023, 11:15:31 AM
This is why it is called a prediction. The person needs to know the future, to be sure of the direction of the price, or that the price can be manipulated, but without these two reasons, it is all an expectation, and it differs from the prediction of a random person in that it is coupled with evidence and analysis, so the percentage of its occurrence is still high, but they are not facts.
Always try to have a range when you want to predict the price of Bitcoin or write orders based on that, because in many cases the price moves randomly, and here your alternative plan must be ready.
1151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should be my next move? on: October 02, 2023, 11:02:02 AM
Why do you need an offline wallet when you already have an airgapped device? You need an online wallet connected to the Internet in order to broadcast the transaction. Create that wallet in a safe environment, such as creating a new, clean, open source operating system next to your operating system, or using an old computer and making sure that you delete the old data and use an open source operating system.
As for wallet options, you have Electrum and Sparrow (if you want easier integration with hardware wallets).
1152  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Notification that you should never click on: October 02, 2023, 10:21:18 AM
Try to limit the places where you post your email, especially if it is your personal email.
Customize filter options to reduce spam and try as much as possible to avoid clicking on links. I don’t know why Gmail has limited options for filtering incoming messages and reducing spam and phishing, but using protonmail will provide you with a lot of settings, such as the ability to check the link before clicking, better filters for messages, and checking the message extension.
1153  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How To Buy A Domain Name With Bitcoin on: October 02, 2023, 09:12:17 AM
I respect your effort, but does this really require creating a topic? Charging a balance in Namecheap or buying a domain with Bitcoin is not much different from using Bitcoin to make payments, and even in Namecheap all you do is replenish your balance with Bitcoin and use that balance to buy domains and not buy a domain directly, which is different from, for example, buying an Ethereum domain and mining the domain using gas fees.

Even if the service provider does not support Bitcoin, you can use gift cards or pay using Visa cards that are charged with Bitcoin.
1154  Other / Meta / Re: Question about trust systems and feedback ? on: October 02, 2023, 09:04:26 AM
You don't need to think much about the trust system if you don't want to conduct business or send money to any of the accounts, but if you do, do it with members in good standing who have a good number of green trusts from multiple users, or ask the other person to use Bitcointalk escrow service.

I remember that it took me several days to learn how the trust system works, so you will learn with time, and read this post if you want to contribute to making it better -----> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5191802.0
1155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About Bitcoin Privacy on: October 01, 2023, 04:34:44 PM
1. Always try to use a new address to receive payments
2. Try not to publish your bitcoin address to the public.
3. Try to keep IP addresses undetectable by using tools like VPN.
4. Avoid using closed source wallets for storing bitcoins.
Maintaining privacy is a continuous learning process. Everything may change after a month or a year, but as long as you learn and do not trust a third party, you will enhance your privacy. These tips are good, but they are not enough to stay safe from currency tracking services, I might add:

 - The best Tor is because in the case of a VPN you need to trust the service provider.
 - Do not use block explorers.
 - Run a full node and your own block explorer.
 - Use a mixing service without linking your inputs.
1156  Economy / Economics / Re: What would you do in this situation? Invest or save? on: October 01, 2023, 11:11:25 AM
Without knowing the nature of the commercial activity, the work is a feasibility study for it, there is no need to give you advice, and that the commercial business varies according to the market, legislation and taxes, your experience in the market and the extent of your relationships and activities, distinct from investment and profits after deducting taxes, but in general, if Bitcoin is legal in your country, the tax specialties are lower. You can wait for two years to start your project, as investing in Bitcoin will be positive, as as a result, the price rose to more than 70k within the next 24 months, with the possibility that the price will decrease.

This is not investment advice, DYOR
1157  Other / Archival / Re: Non-printable characters on: October 01, 2023, 10:26:46 AM

This doesn't happen when I copy from a windows device, so I was wondering if there is a fix for this?
I noticed that some codes or even formats look different in Android encoding. Perhaps the reason for this is Unicode Transformation Format UTF-32. I am not completely sure of the cause of the error, but why not use a third-party service to host the code and then post the link here, I suggest you ---> https://pastebin.com/

Can you add a link to the code you mean?
1158  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Trading Strategies You Could Be Ignoring on: October 01, 2023, 10:13:31 AM
Are you tired of the same old "Hodling" crypto trading strategies that everyone seems to be talking about? If you're looking for a fresh approach to maximize your crypto profits, there are some strategies you might be ignoring
If these are some strategies that you may be ignoring, what are the common or used strategies? Almost all of us may have heard or used Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA), Arbitrage Trading, and many lazy people hear Copy Trading or use it without knowing its name.

In any case, the trading strategy above is the first step, and the more it increases, the more complex and profitable strategies you will use, but it is better to divide it into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.

The levels he mentioned are for beginners and are naturally common.
1159  Economy / Services / Re: Trading bot looking for patterns which occur prior to a bounce on: October 01, 2023, 09:56:12 AM
From now on, all results will be available here http://bitassist.duckdns.org/

There are only two trading pairs and there is no option for Bitcoin in either of them. Are there any plans to add Bitcoin or allocate a specific pair, or is there a problem with the site?

It basically takes a snapshot of the crypto market on a given exchange every 15 minutes and compares the results. It is looking for the data equivalent of a hammer / bullish engulfing / morning star and then generates a signal based on it. I will not make it open-source. I plan to run it for free for a bit then take in 10 subscribers in a private channel.
your service does not differ much from technical analysis indicators, as they all take price data and apply certain calculations to it to give the results either in the form of charts or intersections that determine whether it is better to buy or sell. You just give the user signals instead.
What do you mean by Accuracy: 50.00% and how is its average calculated? Is it over a weekly, daily, monthly or what? An accuracy of 50% is not good.
1160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade only Bitcoin on: October 01, 2023, 09:43:38 AM
Long-term trading with altcoins pairs is considered useless in the long term and may cause losses, so it is better to limit your trading in altcoins to medium- and short-term trading. If you are a professional, short-term trading over limited periods may be profitable and make you earn more Bitcoin, but the greater the risk, the greater the profit, the less security, and the greater the possibility of losing your currencies. Therefore, if you have sufficient experience, I suggest that you risk 10%, if you try to avoid risks just invest in Bitcoin and avoid trading.
