1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to invest in right now on: August 03, 2021, 10:43:04 PM
Coins to invest in bear market are always Bitcoin and Ethereum. We may add BNB to this minor list as it grew a lot in business value over time. All other coins are risky as f*ck. And what is hurry even? There is gonna be better time to buy different altcoins.

Every coin is risky and volatile including bitcoin and ethereum but there's a use case for them but that doesn't mean Whales cannot manipulate the price for the short term..Manipulating bitcoin's price for the long term will be hard for them.

Altcoins are easy to play with for whales so there's a good chance of making or losing money in them, it's like a gamble.
1142  Economy / Services / Re: 1xbit.com honest review campaign (open) on: August 03, 2021, 01:41:04 PM
This week's review,

Betting: Can you introduce a verification system for placed bets in 1xGames I'd be happy to verify my placed bets.

Support: Haven't had any issues till now so can't say.

Deposit and Withdrawals: I've successfully deposited and withdrawn around 0.03 BTC since I started playing on the website but I would be cautious with depositing a huge amount on any gambling website

Overall I would say you should work on a new UI as I mentioned previously.

1143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM in a gas station on: August 02, 2021, 11:54:27 PM
An ATM installed on gas station and getting access to pay with bitcoin shows the progressive market and the advanced thinking of the Gas station owner who have come up with this plan.

It is clear to know at present it won't generate big revenue, with time it'll give good profit in the future. Because, now people have got the free access to pay for the gas, if paid with bitcoin it'll cost atleast a 10% fee which is really big and very few who are much passionate using bitcoin unlike its fee go for it.

Wait a sec.. Are you saying they've started accepting bitcoin on petrol stations?
In 2010 a good internet connection was a big deal let alone people accepting bitcoin anywhere and after 10 years it's officially accepted in petrol stations, quite a progress.

Can you tell me which country or state is doing this?

1144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin solve the world's debt problem on: August 02, 2021, 11:47:57 PM
Can Bitcoin provide a way out of the world's debt problem? The current fiat world incentives debt through currency debasement and cheap debt. Too much debt can be a problem for long-term productivity and raises questions about sustainability.

To clear your debts you'll have to work by putting your skills at work by default you cannot do anything with bitcoin - you'll need real fiat to buy bitcoin or using your skills to earn it online.

Don't get me wrong but it's hard for me to understand what's the point of linking bitcoin with fiat debts?
1145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting paid in Bitcoin vs getting paid in Fiat on: August 02, 2021, 11:45:42 PM
Maybe if living in El Salvador we will get salary in bitcoin because bitcoin adoption is legal there, my country has not legalized bitcoin so I have to convert some of my salary in bitcoin for long term investment.
Converting your salary to Bitcoin is one thing and getting your salary in Bitcoin is a bit risky aspect simply because of the high volatility of the market, last few days the price of Bitcoin was around $30k and i would have initiated a payment in Bitcoin because i knew we had a good support at that price range but now the price has hit the resistance of $40k i will not want my salary in Bitcoin at this price, i would rather invest according to my choice and that is the best thing you can do.

I would suggest the same, Don't get your money into a volatile market that you need in life to sustain your living you're not going to be living on the trading funds technically for some time and it's better to invest in trading with money you can afford to lose just like in gambling, I mean it's always better to take precaution.
1146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies price and their effect on gambling industry on: August 02, 2021, 11:43:40 PM
We all know that there are games like Dice, Bustabit and other very popular in crypto casinos. The minimum amount that people can bet is usually 0.00000001 BTC.
The value of 0.00000001 is more than 70x high compared to 2016 year. So, the current 0.00000001 is equal of 2016's 0.00000070 satoshi. How does this price increase affect the crypto business? Do you see less profit in bitcoins and or in USD? Or even very significantly higher?

Most of the people buy bitcoins in USD value and play with them, there are a website Duelbits where you deposit the btc and it gets converted into USD value right after the deposit but I don't see other casinos doing the same, Well, for old people it might be a big inconvenient but there's always an option to use an altcoin if you're used betting 0.01 BTC/bet in 2016.
1147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should online gambling companies be responsible for harm related activities? on: August 02, 2021, 11:39:17 PM
Morally yes technically no.
Gambling companies are just fulfilling a requirement of a market, if there aren't any gamblers then there won't be any gambling industry but there are actually.
The adrenaline rush from gambling or other risky activities is hardwired in most of us.
1148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 02, 2021, 11:35:39 PM
That's where the parents come in, if they let their children be exposed to it without doing anything, I think that they have already failed as a parent, you are the first defense of your child or any child for that matter to prevent them from discovering things that they aren't ready for yet.

Exactly, but what I've seen is there are rare situations where parents weren't able to know about their child until he has become a gambler and is under a huge debt.
Educating children in their childhood is the best thing you can do and hope for the rest of their future that they don't think about gambling as a source of income.

1150  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Small Rabbit - Bounty & Signature campaign SCAMMER - 25000$ on: July 30, 2021, 01:07:15 AM

@Small Rabbit, is there anything you would like to explain?

I don't see him coming back, @least not from SmallRabbit account.
1151  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Small Rabbit - Bounty & Signature campaign SCAMMER - 25000$ on: July 29, 2021, 10:10:43 PM
we in the group began to suggest that NEWINU is a scam project and wanted to scam bounty hunters, and he (small rabbit) agreed.

This is the next level of Scumminess, Accept the payment from a company for work -> Don't do the work -> And Call the people who hired you are Scammers when you're the one.
Overall...ruin a company.

I wonder why didn't he do that in AME...?
He had AME tokens or the Company had it when the price of AME was (AME > 0.12$)
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery? on: July 29, 2021, 06:42:08 PM
He is thinking about winning at some time, but not too deeply because it hurts to anticipate to win. We buy lottery tickets to see if we have a chance of winning, but there are more chances of winning in the crypto lottery because, unlike the lottery in a physical store, where you have a little chance of winning, in crypto there are only a few participants, so your chances are bigger. I tried before buying tickets, but I wasn't expecting to win; I simply wanted to see how it felt, and the result was that I didn't.

Agreed, regards winning the lottery - What if no one took the winning number in the lottery on the online lottery in crypto.
Personally, I've never played any lottery - Mostly Dice, recently sports betting and that's all, But I had the opportunity of participating in the lottery in the past which I didn't take because of thought (To stay away from gambling) but see even after having that thought I ended up with Dice, funny.

Offline casinos are certainly interesting, you can meet new people who might be your friends or girlfriends.  but in this pandemic period, people are afraid to be there, this virus is very contagious, it is much better to play online gambling during this pandemic while hoping this will all end.

I think you're right - I'd be very cautious due to Covid and especially of STDs, btw do you know how any Offline casinos have under 5% House edge?
Btw you can go to the park, to the lake, museums, gamers gatherings, etc. Making contacts in casinos mostly with addicted gamblers is over my league tbh, gl to you for the meme, you made my day.
1155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: July 29, 2021, 06:28:54 PM
I think it's unrealistic to protect children from gambling. Almost every child who spends his free time with his peers at least once in his life has played money in a card game and it's not about upbringing. The point is that each of us gets our own life experience, regardless of whether it's good or bad.

Think about this.

- Government doesn't ban cigarettes because it profits them and disregarding people dying from cancer.
- Government controls what is shown on TV and what I've seen - There are Gambling Ads, Tobacco ads and kids watch that, TV also uses a certain frequency to appeal to what's shown on the TV to certain parts of your brain, but they never tell you this.

Most of the people live to feel good, there's no problem in that - But when they Knowingly promote retarded stuff to an underage audience by showing off their achievements then what impression will it give to those kids? --- The People promoting this stuff are popular and rich and since they're promoting this stuff then it must be real. Rest is History.
1156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: July 29, 2021, 06:11:15 PM

Sometime your kids more smart enough to find the solution ~XD If you want to prevent kids gambling, the casino should be asking "KYC" at the time they're register not after they're playing or even deposit.

I'd replace that Sometimes with Mostofthetime, From what I've seen people (when they grow old) become slow, and their ability to learn new things degrades compared to what it was in their youth.

Many people wouldn't play on certain casinos if they started asking for KYC, on the other hand, what stops these children from using the ID of their parents for the KYC.
1157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: July 29, 2021, 05:21:04 PM
Actually in pandemic situation most of the people without jobs passing out their days with passive income but they find a popular and interesting site with gambling but teenager also have addicted in gambling just a dangerous for future world.

Yea that sucks, gambling can make desperate people become delusional by the train of thoughts by thinking they'll be able to make enough and keep on making enough,
Might work in short term for some but i'm sure that it won't work for everyone.

Considering 1% House edge.
1000 People started gambling with the mentality above.

Our of those 490 are most likely going to lose their deposit, this number can reduce based on how far they went.
1158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Gambling Exposed to children on: July 29, 2021, 04:25:12 PM
These days I'm seeing many Youtubers and Twitch streamers are promoting Gambling websites [Dice, Sports Betting] and Poker Apps.

I know it's ok to gamble for having fun and socially but I don't think young people should be exposed to this when they're in school.
Most of them will only imagine "What 'IF' i win 1000x of this amount and i'll be able to do this and that"

The first thing where will they get the money, even if they get pocket money and use that to gamble then they'll slowly develop the habit of gambling disregarding short-term winnings - if they occur.

They'll pay a huge price with the tension they'll have thinking about this when their whole life is ahead.

Bitcoin is the best online virtual cryptocurrency which have enough popularity among the all classes of people but it is very difficult to know the real practical value of Bitcoin. If it possible then it should be stablecoin. But impossible to be possible it a stable coin.

Oh-my-God.

+ W-T-F

Sometimes I also think negatively that bitcoin is made by criminals so that they can carry out criminal transactions through bitcoin.

We need cash that can be burnt during winter just like Pablo Escobar did. @least it can be used to generate heat that bitcoin isn't capable of

1160  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Small Rabbit - Bounty & Signature campaign SCAMMER - 25000$ on: July 28, 2021, 04:24:44 PM
I personally have no doubt that the screenshots he shared are all faked, he probably got one of his friends(an accomplice) to change the name of he's or her telegram to that of NEWINU project admin, had that chat with him or her, so that he could have something to show as a defense to this accusation as he already knew that this will come up, (this screenshots are what he spent the two days offline preparing)

On a general note, am not saying that Small rabbit is the scammer, (The forum still have to decide on this), but on my own personal assessment, I say that Small rabbit is GUILTY AS CHARGED.

I don’t use the Binance payment method SmalRabbit used to pay back the owner of Bounty so I can’t say much about it but if his Telegram’s and Binance time zone are same which most likely are then it’s proven he lied and case is closed.
