11441  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any service to buy Google play gift card using bitcoin? on: June 16, 2015, 10:22:24 AM
That site is for Australia only and Google Play Cards in other countries (like USA) cannot be purchased there.
In fact I've Googled that for many times, however I still don't find such a service. For the time being, open a thread here for buying/selling the gift cards for bitcoins at the Digital Goods section and find someone who are willing to do this.
11442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: anyone read this article: The scam called Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2015, 09:45:56 AM
In fact, I have thought of this before I joined bitcoin. I thought that bitcoin was just some matter of numbers, and mining bitcoin is easy because it only requires a computer and I will get rich after I do that... However after I join bitcoin, I found that mining of bitcoin is extremely hard (which I was mislead by medias that it is easy), and the system is more than just numbers. Bitcoin is a secure system, so it MUST NOT be a scam.
11443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Chinese mining pools propose 8MB block size on: June 16, 2015, 09:42:15 AM
Increasing the block size is good for increasing the volume of bitcoin, however everyone's bitcoin program may grow by more than 1GB per day (8MB*144 blocks/day=1152MB/day) because of this, which is a waste of storage (and that's why I don't install the bitcoin core on my computer).
11444  Economy / Gambling / Re: Biggest win you've got in a single bet? on: June 16, 2015, 09:33:06 AM
If talking about my biggest win, it should be a win of 1mBTC from my faucet payout at Primedice, that is completely zero cost but a return Smiley
Today, I am sticking to Dadice, because their jackpot system even gives a higher expected value than the bet (if you don't know what is expected value, Google 'Expected Value'. If you don't want to Google yourself, then lmgtfy).

Why the minimum have to be 0.0006 BTC?! I wanted to bet however I have just 0.00047 BTC in wallet Sad May you consider lowering the minimum bet?
11446  Economy / Gambling / Re: ☼☁ Weathbet.com ☁☼ - Bet on weather condition ✺ NEW ✺ DECENTRALIZED ✺ ANONYMOUS on: June 16, 2015, 03:58:21 AM
If it is betting on the temperature, then I may have a strategy:
The weather at noon are generally hotter and that in night is generally cooler. So if you choose the corresponding temperature change, then you can earn from that.

I would like a badge for achievements here, like Spammer Exterminator. It would be nice to have some sort of recognition to those who correctly report lots of posts violating forum rulesSmiley

There already is one. It's called Staff  Wink.
Then, for how many posts reported to moderator that a user will become a Staff?
11450  Other / Meta / Re: Posting restrictions. on: June 14, 2015, 04:03:35 AM
If you want your activity get pass 16, you'll have to wait until next Tuesday (the time the next activity change), and make enough posts. This restriction is to prevent newbie spammers and scammers.

Error 502  Grin
Same here Sad
min withdrawal 0.001? how raise from 1500 satoshi to 0.001 Cheesy
That is a dice site, so when it is available, I will claim there, use a ~70x multiplier to get ~1mBTC, and then withdraw. I have experience of that to withdraw 1mBTC from these rules on another dice site (but forgotten which it is Tongue)
11452  Economy / Lending / Re: ---el kaka22's testnet bitcoin lending--- on: June 14, 2015, 02:09:57 AM
you do know that you can generate thousands of tBTC for free, right?

https://bitcoin.org/en/developer-examples#regtest-mode
However hashing power is needed and it will have power costs.
I've got some testnet bitcoins recently and I decided to share them for free!
..............
Collateral offered: (it is to prevent spamming and scamming, the coins are for those in need. If you don't return the coins I will sell the collateral)

WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD U NEED COLLATERAL FOR TESTNET LENDING.... THEY CAN BE GENERATED FOR FREE....
I only need some collateral like newbie accounts/few satoshis worth of altcoins to prevent spamming, as stated in OP.
11453  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Generation Social Gambling Dice Experience on: June 13, 2015, 02:17:03 PM
Just rolled a 0.00 but the bet ID is divisible by 2 and the timestamp is divisible by 3 Sad Hope I can get a double prime next time Smiley
11454  Economy / Services / Re: DA DICE Signature Campaign 2.O - Pay Per Post & Fixed Campaign Thread on: June 13, 2015, 02:02:39 PM
Can you explain how does the loyalty points works?
Quote
Earn upto 25 Loyalty points every week! 1 LP = 0.2% of the total payments for the immediately preceding 4 weeks (including the current week). LP will become zero, once the participant leaves or is removed from the campaign.
Converted to Bitcoins when 100 points are accumulated!!
First, how many bitcoins can I get for 100 points? Second, say, if I have 100 LP and got 0.1 BTC for the immediately preceding 4 weeks, that is I will get 0.02 BTC for that?
Third, do I get 1 LP per post during the week?
I will first see how it is going, then I may join this on Tuesday.

Will add that in the FAQ soon. Smiley

Replies:
First: It varies. 20% of the sum of preceding 3 weeks and the current weeks pay excluding bonus.
Second: If 0.1BTC is the sum (and not the average) of the amounts, yeah. Smiley
Third: No. You can earn maximum 25 points a week, based on post count and quality ratings. Loyalty points is to reward those who stay in our campaign over weeks. Smiley

Hope it is clear.
ndnhc
Thanks! I will enroll here once my old signature campaign pays me the last time. Also how can I add the dadice add-on on my avatar? I also want to join that!

11456  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [$0.01] Method to get unlimited Lynda.com premium account -- No CC required on: June 13, 2015, 10:57:37 AM
Even a full member here asking things with no value for 1 cent... Buy this when you think you no longer needs the bitcoin.
Also he is selling the 'Already public' method, that's mean it is only for those who are lazy... (but someone already posted the link here)
11457  Other / New forum software / Re: New rank? on: June 13, 2015, 10:26:03 AM
The forum isn't a video a game. New ranks can be added as and when needed just like Legendary was. The ranks are just a way to show the age / activity of an account.

The forum isn't a video game, but there's no reason why we can't implement gamification in it. The Stack Exchange network does something similar (with points and achievements), and I think it works fine, encouraging people to give useful answers.
When you are saying achievements, I started to think, other than the current activity count, what can we do? Then I think of post counts and time logged in. Although post counts can be boosted by making many useless posts here, the total time logged in must be real time. Maybe shall we make a new rank for those who have one of the highest values of the total time logged in?
11458  Other / New forum software / Re: so when is it coming? the new forum? on: June 13, 2015, 10:21:34 AM
I think that it will not come too soon. In fact, the section 'New Forum Software' (i.e. this section) is created at March 2014 (As the time of the very first post here) and it is already 1 year and 3 months from there. I think that it MAY come in the next 1 year and 3 months, i.e. September 2016.
11459  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling verified PerfectMoney Account! on: June 13, 2015, 10:12:48 AM
How can it to be worth $50? All real person in the world can verify the account using their own name, address and phone number! This may be suitable to those who can't supply these information (due to that they are homeless?), but they will not use this, since there are many alternatives (like PayPal, Bitcoin etc.).
11460  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in - is it even worth it? on: June 13, 2015, 09:46:23 AM
the new lottery feature makes it somewhat interesting again.

you get 2 tickets per roll and 1 ticket per ref

Yes. I've login to my old account there, and I've played few times for some lottery tickets. Hope that I can win Smiley However their payouts (870 satoshis as of the time I was playing) is still not significant compared to signature campaigns here...
