1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fun new coin! Lotto coin (LOT) on: December 16, 2013, 10:25:50 PM
how you could had mined 100k in a few hours?
What's your hashrate?

There are prizes (aka superblocks) a couple a times a day, so he might have grabbed one.

But it is a nice coin, and the prizes are reflected in the name of the coin "lotto"

1162  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: (Warning) Whats going on with cryptsy.com every one is losing there coins on: December 16, 2013, 10:01:34 PM
I was going to deposit $300 into coinbase and then use cryptsy to trade but now that I read about this I dont know what to do anymore.

Any other sites that trade qrk, dev etc?   I dont want to miss the boat on the pump and dumps.

bter.com does qrk and so does coins-e .... the Chinese exchange (forgotten name was supposedly adding it, too)
1163  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: (Warning) Whats going on with cryptsy.com every one is losing there coins on: December 16, 2013, 10:00:02 PM
I can't make any trades, and I just got landed with another negative balance on LTC. This is despite not transfering any in or out for a while. It is an account with hardly anything in. I could pay it back if it let me sell the QRK or Bitcoin I have there, but no, coins are all "error" prone. I could transfer my QRK and BTC out of the exchange and leave enough to pay the LTC debt, but it won't let me.

Really recommend people not to attempt sending money there.

To above,

Cryptsy isn't fun if you are getting screwed - yet again I have just had a debit land on my account, this time after doing the self-audit!

I've hardly any trades on the acconut and I'm suddenly minus a small amount of LTCs - how the f--- can that happen?

1165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LOTTO COIN - The coin thats a game! Released 12/12/13 on: December 16, 2013, 07:17:08 PM
thats pretty damn good.

by the way we should put in application at coinedup as well... cos cryptsy really does seem broken..

Is coinex.pw not worth looking at?

I've used it a couple of times without issues.

I only wish the webmaster there would put the coins in columns and rows with a neater font because I have trouble making sense of the layout (my brain is a bit wonky sometimes).

p.s. THANK YOU for showing animals respect and kindness ! pEACe Grin

10 years and counting, mate. People think it's weird and I live in a country that exists almost solely on pork and dairy products. It's not always easy, given lack of access to basic ingredients and produce (was even asked to bring my own food once to restaurant for a familiy gathering WTF?! (peasants))

Also, I don't even have to be vegan merely to respect animals (although that is why i am vegan). I find that the smell of meat, raw or cooked, and dairy now makes me wanna puke.

So disgusting - if only people knew

Thanks OP

And no thanks to Cryptsy that told me a few months ago ORB would never, ever be added. Fair enough, you might think.

But one night Big Vern tweeted Orb has been added to the BTC market. So I rush out to coin-e and buy lots of ORB at really good prices.

Next day, ORB was not there, the tweet had disappeared and support told me ORB would not be added (no reply about Big Vern's midnight tweets).

So I sold the ORB at a loss thinking it was finished.

Nice that Cryptsy manages to screw me over yet again.

Cheers guys!

But anyway, I'm glad ORB has been added, it's a nice coin, nice small numbers (for a change), cool wallet, cool name.

What more can you ask for?
1168  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fudda'd by muddafudda on: December 16, 2013, 11:25:31 AM
Vegan coin, sounds kind of cool - and I am a vegan

But the wallet does not synch, I assume this is because of the dispute?

Whoever owns this, I'd consider taking it on assuming it works and nobody is looking for 5 LTCs for it!

Muddafuddda, if you want to adapt it a little bit (rewards per lock, a small premine), then let me know.

Otherwise, good day to you Sirs

1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / DOGE - Fix your qt-client on: December 15, 2013, 10:20:37 PM
The Client I downloaded is broken. I have tried two downloads. I go into it and try a command - I have tried "getmininginfo" and even "help", and the client actually quits, like I have just closed it.

For all the fuss with doge, this isn't so amazing or funny or likely to make me want to assist in the doge get rich scheme.

If there is a better client (maybe I downloaded a duff version), what is the latest link?

You're also on cryptobounty.com as "doge sucks," which I guess is meant as a reverse joke? (lol, I am not renowned for guessing correctly when it comes to the world of alts)

Anyway, please put the client right, and I'm sure with this hype you'll get it to Cryptsy soon Cheesy

If someone wants to buy with paypal

1. Open an ebay auction of any item, like personal painting Wink
2. Sell the item NOT the coin
3. Give the coin a free gift with it
4. SEND the painting, with a witness, all postage papers and so on

So its very hard for scamers to tell ebay, that they want their money back. They still can, the ebay paypal account got hacked trick, but then we talk about serious crime here.
So maybe dont sell more then XY$

Quote
But I think if the guy did a "gift" through Paypal nothing can be done.
Lol, i hope you are joking. No way you can be serious.

You have to prove you sent the item. Send he painting by guaranteed delivery, signed for. As a free gift you offer the coins to be given when the painting has been signed for,

They'll have a harder time getting you that way.

I had a experience on ebay. I proved I supplied the coins with snapshots of the transactions, copies of emails from buyer at her address and even positive feedback for the transaction.

Yet, paypal still took my money for 6 months before deciding I had no case!!

So maybe my idea above would also fail. Paypal/Ebay look very dimly on crypto trades, although they seem happy enough to take the trading fees.
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LOT / BTC Google Docs Exchange on: December 15, 2013, 03:31:37 PM
Can you remove my order, too. I bought the amount yesterday. Thanks.

(seller was ★ ChekaZ ★, purchased 1,000,000)
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Doge client many bad on: December 15, 2013, 02:50:38 PM

I've tried three times, with the same result

many bad thing I think
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LOT / BTC Google Docs Exchange on: December 15, 2013, 01:42:51 AM
Confirm that I had a good trade with ChekaZ - happy with how it went and with the good attitude of ChekaZ

Quoting oxymoron (sic)

"To say Cryptsy is on a bad path is a retarded statement.

They have contributed more to the crypto community then your punk ass ever will.

The valuation that people put on money differentiates greatly depending on they're own personal situations.  For myself, I would of waited to let Cryspty resolve this technical issue.... but obviously the OP has never touched any money of this nature before and freaks the fuck out like 50k means something.

GROW UP! Cryptsy is not trying to steal your chump change you pathetic, ignorant baby!!"

You like using that word "retarded" to your betters. Yet, you can't even construct a sentence that is not littered with simple-minded assertions, cliches and teenage insults.  I don't know you and I don't want to know you. You're a ridiculous little man with no firm grip on the situation. By all means wear your idiocy as a badge of pride, and seek out other idiots to confirm the falsehood that you're a bright spark with his finger on the pulse.

I just hope to God that you never sit on a jury.

second day running I've tried to gamble a few LTCs from my Cryptsy account - and the second day running they have sat in "pending", meaning my coins arrive too late, and I have to go to the bother of proving to another party that I sent them.

I should have learned the first time, I guess.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Setting up a Crypto Currency Exchange on: December 15, 2013, 12:27:09 AM
bter.com claims to offer a service for you to set up an exchange
1177  Other / Archival / Re: deleted by request on: December 15, 2013, 12:22:15 AM
I saw this coming, got most of mine out.. I am honestly concerned that they have not addressed the site or the complaint today at all...

You have to realize man... to Cryptsy... one little baby missing a few BTC is not even or nor should it be on the radar of a company of this potential.

To address this pathetic temper tantrum would take away from they're credibility.

He's missing a lot of money, so your jibes mean jack sh*t. I'm sure you'd be crying if it was you.

Maybe the BTC/alt community should offer its help to Cryptsy. It's a smart exchange, just had a bad path lately - partly made by itself.

So that means money and expertise to save an exchange that has until about 2 months ago been a fantastic resource.

Stink, are you the FLO Stink?

If so, are you abandoning the coin, or remaining a devotee?

(you made me quite a bit of money just by following your trading pattern)

1179  Other / Archival / Re: deleted by request on: December 14, 2013, 09:05:40 PM
Cryptsy is bringing this on itself. Big Vern promises the site will get better routinely, yet it worsens daily. People are losing trades, have lost money from their accounts but Cryptsy grinds on, adding more trading pairs, promising everything is okay.

It's not okay. Vern should shut the place down, fix the damned platform so it functions properly, then open again for business.

Fact, everyone wants Cryptsy to work. It is the only alt exchange with any volume.

The model, however, does not work and it will collapse unless something special happens over the next day or two (and I don't mean Big Vern tweeting something about a server)

NB: The mods there, Mullick and BitJohn have always been fantastic. They are nice guys, helpful and likable. Just want to point that out to balance my comments about the platform (software related I guess) and 2 of the people that have so far helped run it.

XNC ... Xencoin

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237998.0

Cryptsy binned it a couple of weeks ago (without warning) Apparently the Dev has not bothered with it for months.

Until then it had decent volume and I imagine there are a few holders waiting for a resurrection
