1161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: November 13, 2016, 04:20:33 AM
I agree to disagree with your post. You just can't keep storing and you cant just keep spending it. There something known as balance. If all would only sell price would go down as supply would be more than demand and on other hand if every one only stored prices would go up as supply would be low and demand high. But if you go to see its a balance world. People are spending and saving to. So you can't dictate terms and say sell sell or store store. It's a free world and it's better kept that way. What you could instead suggest is to sell when prices are high or for high returns in a project.

In my opinion bitcoin was developed as a way to create and transfer money. For everybody.
I don't think that it was intended to be a form of investment.
So in general I would be happy if people used it as payment whenever possible.
I think it's the fact that companies accept bitcoin as a payment why bitcoin is the most important crypto currency. And I would like it to stay that way for a while.

Indeed it was created for payment purposes, but it was definitely not to be limited for only payment purposes. Over a period it evolved and people used it very well. We live in a progressive time and have to evolve and we can't be stuck to old methods. Change is permanent, so I feel people should not stress whether it's yet investment or payment. People are smart enough to decide so let's keep it that way.

exactly because bitcoin was meant for payment purposes we have to store it!

because simply you can take a look around and see that there is not enough places where you can spend bitcoin, it is not yet accepted by the merchants which makes it hard to spend but easy to store and take the profit.
1162  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: November 13, 2016, 04:09:06 AM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
We have to put good proportion, but we have to be wise, butcoin is good for investment but it also risky to being hacked. It is fine to hold 10 - 20 bitcoin, but the most of the wealth is in gold. That is my oppinion.

There is no doubt that gold is much safer in compare to bitcoins and it will definitely not disappear in future and we cannot keep same faith in bitcoins as its future is unpredictable and anything is possible in future so best choice would be to invest small part in bitcoins and rest in gold.

so far price of bitcoin has been rising and it makes bitcoin much safer and profitable than gold.

also about security of these thngs on their own, bitcoin is 100000 times safer than gold because you can store bitcoin on a piece of paper and hide it but you can not hide a ton of gold in your desk drawer !
1163  Economy / Gambling / Re: Monthly Best Gambling Site (November) on: November 13, 2016, 04:05:27 AM
I vote to direct bet since sports betting is more chance to win  than the other games..

Newbie vote in the pole should not be counted i try to back read and i saw only one newbie are voted for jackpot racer and we dont know if there is a fake vote there..

More chance to win on sportbetting? Not always AFAIK because not all people have this kind of knowledge to play on sportbetting though, you really need to have good experience to make that one kind of bet, although you have more money doesnt mean low odds always win too. May be many people tend to have some winning from sportbetting because there is no house edge

when we are talking about a skill based game, we are talking about someone who has the skills on that skill based game not everyone. and in sports betting these skills consists of some expereince of your own in betting and also some knowledge you can gain from internet and the history of players in that sports which gives you a better chance in winning.
1164  Economy / Economics / Re: Mexican currency is dropping fast will they use BTC? on: November 13, 2016, 04:01:31 AM
people in all countries around the world will soon realize that bitcoin has a lot of potential and benefits for them and they will start to use bitcoin slowly but surely.

but it is never going to happen over night and just because there was a currecy drop!
1165  Economy / Speculation / Re: Panic sellers got flushed fast on: November 13, 2016, 03:58:29 AM
Ahhh yez, that $800 (that never was) surely is starting to look like a memory indeed.

Lol what a joke. Crypto 2.0 is the future.

If you look at the 3 month chart the only thing anyone with eyes and a brain can see is this bubble popping.

instead of the 3 month chart i am more interested in looking at your 3 month post history Cheesy or better yet older history.

and the only thing i can see is you saying bitcoin price will fall to $100 and die but the only thing that happened was a $100 rise each time you said it Wink
1166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH under 10$!!! on: November 13, 2016, 03:55:12 AM
wow...after long time now Eth go under 10$! WTF....

yeah, it is very strange to see ETH going down.

i have always known that this project is going to die and i still say it will someday but it is known that ETH will be pumped because there are millions of dollars of the foundation at risk.

do you think there will be another pump or is that it?
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to spot an ICO SCAM on: November 13, 2016, 03:52:25 AM
it is simple don't be greedy and stop investing in ICO because they are all scams. and the fact that one or two of them goes higher than it is supposed to go and makes you profit doesn't make that one or two coins not-scam but it was a lucky break.
1168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Wallet - More Than 8 Millions Users - How To Protect The Wallet on: November 13, 2016, 03:48:46 AM
This numbers are a bit crazy, one day this wallet can have problems and for sure the bitcoin price will go to the ground even if most people use to hold micro ammounts in the end it's a lot of money.

Anyway untill now it's a good web wallet with impressive numbers.

lol, you don't know anything about bitcoin price and how it changes and nothing about wallets either.

only newbies are using blockchain.info as their primary wallet to keep bitcoin in large amounts. and if anything happens those newbies will lose their coins (and it has already happened once) and newbies don't have much.
1169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is there to do with bitcoins these days ? on: November 13, 2016, 03:44:48 AM
You can always gamble with your coins, there is so many interesting games. In the same time you are investing your money, spending and there is always a chance to finish playing with more money in pocket then at the beginning.
I think OP didn't said nothing new, in order to spend and make money you need a lot of money for start. Its same with every currency and bitcoin can not be different about it. At least with bitcoin potential just with keeping one day we can be rich, with other currencies we can't count on that.

gambling is interesting for sure and it is entertaining but it is also a way of losing your coins and these days bitcoin is worth keeping and not losing it in gambling and crazy things like that because the price is rising and we wouldn't wantt to miss out.
1170  Economy / Speculation / Re: The cryptocurrency bitcoin also jumped to a recent high of $738 on: November 10, 2016, 04:45:05 AM
The shocking news of Donald Trump’s election victory rattled markets across the world, The cryptocurrency bitcoin also jumped to a recent high of $738 overnight, and was trading at around $726 on Wednesday morning according to Coindesk.

this looks like a part of a news article on one of those news site! did you copy paste that? if yes as a courtesy you should always include source

anyways, i think this is mostly hype and less because of anything good.
1171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: November 10, 2016, 04:41:49 AM
99 yes
100 no

What we can learn with this pool? China control a little bit?
I think we really don't know the power of China...

most people who vote on the poll have no idea what they are talking about or what is all of this is about. and many of them are just trolling or want to spread FUD and need others to believe China is controlling bitcoin!!

this doesn't make any sense, if they were controlling bitcoin we would have seen so many more pumps and dumps just like what we see in altcoins.
1172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which Trading Books Have You Read, Have They Helped You? on: November 10, 2016, 04:37:49 AM
I've only read two books regarding trading, I think for the most part they somewhat helped me create a good mindset when trading, but I feel as if I learned the most through trial and error.

The books I've read are 'Trading in the Zone' and 'Harmonic Trading Vol 1'

What books have you read to get better at trading? Did they actually help you?

i have been thinking about reading some books and other resources to learn more about trading and i actually checked some of them out but the problem that i found was that it was too long and it needed a lot of time, a time that i do not have.

and reading some of the comments here i think i did good because it is not really going to help much.
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: zcash soon 0.2 btc! on: November 10, 2016, 04:33:06 AM
as i say few days ago..its come closer and closer...no more panic buy...

Soon $2
Just give it a couple of months....
yeah i am expecting it sooner, maybe at end of this month. It dropped from 800 to 200 in just 4 days, im still glad that i never invested in it.

the high price of ZCash is what is killing it!
no altcoin has the potential to grow that big and the high price of this coin was a clear manipulation and the hype by the whales and nothing else.

and actually it was the reason for the drop because a lot of investors will stay away because they clearly can see how fake the price was.
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Petition: Request Litecoin developers & Founder to give up on LTC on: November 10, 2016, 04:28:23 AM
litecoin has always been like this, being developed and have a fixed price. and nothing has changed about it over the years. right now we are at the stage of low and fixed price.

soon there will be a pump whether you like it or not and price will go up a certain amount no matter how low it gets the rise will be fixed.
1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going all in on a Hillary win bet on: November 10, 2016, 04:24:51 AM
Did anyone go all in on Hillary in the end?

I did actually.  I thought there was no way Trump would win.  I was completely wrong.  Lost all my coins for what I thought was a sure 100% win, still thinking about how I am going to recover from this but I think it will take some time to do so.

i am sorry to hear that.

but that is the thing about gambling, you never know how your luck is going to turn out to be like. sometimes you lose and sometimes you win. which is why i have always said, never go all in because there is always a huge risk of loss even if you are sure.
1176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling and local laws on: November 10, 2016, 04:21:12 AM
I was just thinking about the people, signing up for online gambling without knowing the consequences of their actions. In many countries, online gambling are not allowed. So even if you win the $$JackPot$$ at these Bitcoin Casinos online, you would not be allowed to withdraw that money, legally into fiat.

A lot of these casinos knows this, but they still accept your bets. They do not have to pay you, if you signed up with their service.

So how many people know their laws and what is allowed in your country regarding online gambling?

i have been asking around about this because i do care about the laws of gambling and online gambling in my country and i don't want to encounter any troubles down the line. but i have not found anything conclusive about the online gambling and bitcoin which is good for me to make the plays and if i win take the money too.
1177  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: November 10, 2016, 04:17:07 AM
Its truly a freedom for us because we  have all  access on  our  money and  no one could able to  impose  tax from it and   no  government would   know regarding on your  money  holdings and  this is  really a good thing. We are  all aware  on that   because we  do  know bitcoin and  its benefits.
On bitcoin in most countries today and, therefore, illegal taxes nobody pays. But if you seek recognition cryptocurrency it is still ahead.

bitcoin is not really being used that much, especially not for payment and in businesses. it is being used in very small number of them and in none of them in some countries.

that is why there may not be some tax laws about bitcoin in some of these countries sometimes.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: November 10, 2016, 04:13:04 AM
What do you think will happen after 1 year?
What sites will still be around?
After 1 year I expect all of your investments will end up in profit and the amount of profit is more than 1btc per site. After seeing these stats i'm thinking of investing some on betking and crypto-games.
yes i also hope so, i think after one year it will really give a decent profit and the percentage of income will increase from time to time.

the problem with this type of investment is that you can never know about the profit and the result even in the long term investment you have.

because there may be some high roller some day or even some hacker who exploits and takes a lot of money in his winning and that means your investment is going down.
1179  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: November 10, 2016, 04:09:21 AM
Passive income means income that comes with little or no work and I don't think that there are any legit passive income opportunities out there that require little to no work. If you want money, work for it.

I think the best that we can come up with in terms of Bitcoin passive income is investing in a Bitcoin casino bankroll. But it is risky as hell, and you should watch closely what's going on around your money thus invested and be ready to withdraw it instantly. Some exchanges might also offer a small interest on the funds if you keep the money in your account, something like a few percentages annually.
I will not keep my money in an exchange with the amount of hacks and stuff, I really don't like the idea of someone else having control over my money instead of me.

you are doing the best thing and no one should really keep their money and bitcoin on a third party exchange that can run away at any time.

but the problem is that you can not make any trades if you don't keep anything on the exchanges, so you are forced to do it for even a short time.
1180  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the best investment holding your Bitcoin? on: November 10, 2016, 04:06:29 AM
I would like to say hello first off, I am new to these forums as a member, but I do often enjoy browsing on my lunch break.

I see a lot of people like to invest in other coins in particular IPO/ICO. But with the volatility of Bitcoin is this not the best investment choice in itself? Keeping your Bitcoins which have a higher value and can fluctuate more? Especially with the recent halving, I can only see the value going up.

Do you see any need to invest elsewhere or is it greedy? What are your thoughts on this?

i am mainly investing in bitcoin to buy and holdit for a long time as my main investment which is the majority of my money also.

but for additional earning possibility what i do is that i trade altcoins. i never invest in ICO and any other super high risk investment like that but but i only do it with the altcoins themselves and sell soon.
