The Monthly Bonus have been availed earlier. It is made connection with the Super Bowl as majority of the users predicted. Valentine's Day is really a big commercial day for businesses, but gambling doesn't have anything to do with it. Maybe some real casinos will have bonuses availed for the couples. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
1182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 12, 2023, 11:34:01 PM
The second test between West Indies and Zimbabwe is underway, and it's lunch now. It's not a good start for Zimbabwe, who chose to bat after winning the toss. Five wickets have gone down, and the score is just 70. Seems like Zimbabwe will finish there first innings around 150 as Craig Ervine is the only recognized batsmen left.
Look like Zimbabwe will lose the second and last test match of this test series, they choose to bat first but they didn't score a lot in order to put pressure on westindies batter during chase, the highest runs from entire Zimbabwe batting lineup is 38 which has been scored by I.Kaia while two other batter score just 22, 23 , this is so shameful performance from them but I think we can expect such kind of bad performances from such kind of small teams, they just score 115 in 40 overs, while on the other hand westindies lose his four wicket in 37th over but thier batter already done Thier job before dismissal. Hope they will lead alot tomorrow

I did not think that Zimbabwe would perform as badly in the second match as in the first match. The batsmen needed to bat more responsibly in this match. Their performance today was worse than the first match. They lost all the wickets to collect only 115 runs. Innocent Kaia scored the highest 38 runs for the team. West Indies scored 133 runs and lost 4 wickets. I guess West Indies will collect atleast 250. And it doesn't look like Zimbabwe will be able to score 200 runs in the second innings. The condition of their batsmen is very weak now.
Zimbabwe isn't performing good. By the end of day 1 West Indies leads by 18 runs and 6 wickets left. Match gonna end by the third day. Zimbabwe should've made atleast 250 runs. I don't find anything bad with the batting line-up. With the players they can easily reach 250+ runs. Upto Tsiga it have batting order and if they weren't able to perform as test match, atleast they could've gone for some big shots. An easier series win for West Indies.

In the Bangladesh Women vs Sri Lanka Women at the beginning Bangladesh was in good position scoring better runs amidst the wicket fall at regular interval. I believed Bangladesh would score atleast 150 runs, because during the seventh over it had a run rate of 7.77 runs per over. At the end Bangladesh Women have scored 126/8 which is very low. Sri Lanka Women have won the match comfortably at the 19th over losing 3 wickets with the opener Madavi making 69* and Nilakshi de Silva making 41* runs.
1184  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC Silver and Gold on: February 12, 2023, 11:20:36 PM
I don't know whether it have turned to be a circumstance or it is getting connected to the culture. In our country gold is given much priority, it can be jewellery as well as form of investment. Majority of the people have good volume of jewellery, because this is the one used as collateral when there is need of money. Bitcoin seems to be my choice, but it is quite hard to make people believe it. If it is gold, everyone simply accepts.
1185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People will choose bitcoins more if the number of cryptocurrency option is less. on: February 12, 2023, 11:16:17 PM
Lesser the choice available people will move towards the trusted one for investment and other needs. This is the fact, but the increased number of cryptocurrencies keeps the market highly competing. Being on open market we were able to see more concepts getting evolved out of these. Maybe they aren't successful, but some concepts are really good to be effective on different systematic needs.
1186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which company will be next to accept Bitcoin? on: February 12, 2023, 11:10:17 PM
Just like most of the users says, we rather want that one small brand that we can afford to try buying it using bitcoins in our place in order to really try how it is to buy bitcoins physically. I wonder if there will be some stores that will gonna do that and some services like Barber shops and others. I'm sure it will be a new trend for us and that will be a quick promotion for the owner of the store and shop. Here in our place, we still don't have a Bitcoin ATM machine, How I wish to try it and also post my experience here. Either way, let's hope this year some huge companies will be added on the lists of companies that will gonna accept bitcoins as payment.
Small businesses around makes the change than the big companies. When we come across large scale firms, the usage gets limited and will be followed only by certain levels of people. With small scale businesses this will be entirely opposite. We can see good number of people using bitcoin in small fractions. Big companies accepting bitcoin into their business makes some temporary market push.

England Women's team have won against West Indies Women's team in an easier way. This is expected result, and West Indies had good start, but the scoring is maintained at the level of 6 runs per over. Today's second match is going on, New Zealand Women's team won the toss and decided to bowl. Australia Women's team is in good position after 8 overs with 56 runs losing a wicket.

And just like that an innings and gazillion runs win. Well done team India!!

A bit of an extended session but we could still say that it got done and dusted in just 1 session, it took only 32.3 overs to wrap things up.

Lots of soul-searching for Aussies. India also faced a similar kind of humiliation after 36 all out saga back in 2021 but they picked themselves up so if India can do it then they can do it too. They are champion team and a much better outfit when it comes to any touring team in India so hope they come back hard in the next test match.

ICT also needs to think about their top order, you can't expect bowlers to do the heavy lifting with the bat and ball all the time.

India wrapped up test victory on 3rd day. Honestly wasn't expecting such one sided game as Australia is an ever green team in all formats. Its Jadeja and Aswin who collectively picked up 15 wikcets in both innings. So they are the real hero in this victory.
India proved that if Australians are mighty at there home ground then same can be done with them while they are away. Still a long way to go as 3 more test to be played.
None could've expected such an one sided match to end in the 3rd day. Atleast the match could've gone till the last day. I believed Australia to make a comeback in the second innings. Just now saw the result and got surprised. I predicted Smith to perform good in the second innings and he's not out. If someone have supported him, little more score might've got added. An awesome performance from the spinners mainly. In the first innings it was Jadeja and in the second innings it was Ashwin.

What a match going on between Khulna Tigers vs Fartune Barishal. Earlier in this match, we have seen a load shedding and the match was stopped due to this load shedding. Not sure if it's happened before. Seems like a tough match for Khulna Tigers. They need 30 more runs from 13 balls. Pretty much a 50/50 chance for both teams here. Mahmudul Hasan joy Played well so far. Let's see if he can turn the match for Khulna Tigers.
It was an unexpected win for Khulna Tigers. I assumed Fortune Barishal to win this match but Khulna Tigers snatched the win towards the end of the innings. Mahmudul Hasan Joy played brilliantly until the end and scored 66 runs from 43 balls to lead the team to victory but Habibur Rahman did the last job. The strength in his wrists could not be imagined without watching today's match. Scored 30 runs off 9 balls. This young player brought victory to the team with a strike rate of 333. Generally the performance of Bangladeshi players is not seen. After today he will definitely be able to make a place in the mind of the spectators.

Honestly, I also thought it was not going to result in favor of Khulna. I thought it was going to be a win for Barishal. But in the end a great inning from Mahmudul Hassan Joy. He was the reason why the match turned out to be like this. But the sad part is that this is not going to be easy and/or enough for the Khulna Tigers to get into the top four. Because the point difference is very big right now and I think that's one thing that is going to give the top four teams a lot of breathing space.

Everyone had the same thought. The match turned at the last moment. The 22 years old Mahmudul Hasan Joy kept the winning momentum scoring slow runs and avoided wicket loss. At the final moment scoring is completely difficult. To the efforts of Mahmudul Hasan Joy support provided by Habibur Rahman made it winning for Khulna Tigers. They ended the season with a win that'll be remembered for a long. However the performance from the team throughout the tournament is not upto the level. The team have won just 3 matches out of 12 matches played.
1190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 10, 2023, 11:39:44 PM
Seems like India will declare the innings after they gather more than five hundred runs on the board. Ravindra Jadeja looks steady with the bat. Best of luck for a hundred.
More than 500? I doubt that. Am expecting India to be bundled out within 420 which is a great score and the lead would be greater than 200 putting a ton of pressure on the Australian batsmen.

Also, I don't think Jadeja will score a century. Once Jadeja and Axar depart, the remaining tail-enders will collapse pretty quickly.
400 runs mark mean 220ish first innings lead for India. If this happens then it would also seal the fate of this test match.

The innings win would be an incredible result from an Indian point of view, considering we lost the toss but for this to happen Jaddu-Axar duo needs to bat another session. I would say bit too much to ask from the lower order, although they are capable bats.

With the form of Jadeja and Axar it is possible to reach 400+ runs. Just 80 runs away and if wickets begin to fall in the first session, then innings gets over within 360 runs. Once after the batting it is Jaddu and Axar again to perform in the bowling to have an innings win against Australia. In the second innings I'm sure Australia will make a comeback and I expect good score from Steve Smith.
1191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: February 10, 2023, 11:27:24 PM

It seems the hope is that Bukele can hold on and/or that any successor would be strong enough and/or able enough to continue to carry on the kinds of work of self-sovereignty and financial independence and the various ways that Bukele seems to be working that angle.. and it does not seem that Bukele is going to rug pull the El Salvadorean people or to run away with the BTC.. even though there are frequently going to be concerned about these kinds of matters including how much disclosures are being made regarding El Salvador's bitcoin stash.
One of my greatest worries about the El Salvador Bitcoin adoption project is the fact that the government may change and Bukele leave how is the Bitcoin project going to be, what of the successor does not have the same positive vibe to bitcoin same way Bukele does.
-And what of the subsequent government give in to pressure re re by following the international monetary funds warning and the other anto bitcoin International financial institution?
-i think Bukele have a lot to do within the limited time he have in this present tenure, to make Bitcoin attain a legal status that will make it hard for anyone to delist or marginalize it in the future.
There have already been several attempts within and outside El Salvador to sabotage the government efforts in making El Salvador economically buoyant a f the Bitcoin project sponsored by the Presiden of the country.

I think Nayib Bukele will win th 2024 election. He was in better position and currently he holds 56 seats out of 84 seats which is 13 seats higher than the requirement for a majority which is 43 seats. The second party on list is Nationalist Republican Alliance which just holds 11 seats. In his tenure he have done everything in a better way. Hope he'll win the election and continue making his country progress through bitcoin.
1192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoiners are not friendly physical? on: February 10, 2023, 11:18:30 PM
Being a bitcoiner is a pride, but people never want the same to be exposed for different reasons. Just my personal experience, I'm from a country where cryptocurrency isn't regulated and the government haven't revealed any official announcement on usage. Just the taxation on cryptocurrency have made people to consider it as legal and use it. In such situation exposing myself as a cryptocurrency user could direct me towards issues if someone is with vengeance with me.

There is no need for the launch of Stake tokens.

Stake already created its own token called "Stake Cash"

They needed to create this token for their "social casino" Stake.us

So that US players can socially enjoy Stake in the US!  Smiley

not a US user so don't want to know much about it but Stake won't launch tokens like other casinos cause mostly it's a waste of time I think revenue share with holders and others Stake is big enough so no need to release crypto tokens like others , but if it's just "social casinos" in the US I think that's fine everything looks good  Wink

Not needed and as the discussion goes with this idea many doesn't like the idea about creating so most provably Stake will follow what people sentiments on this plan. If they create virtual token for certain country well that's fine since maybe they just need to cope up with demand or maybe they need to find ways for that citizen to find easy way for them to place their bets.

Already Stake have provided with the best features in terms of deposit, withdrawal and other things. Maybe this virtual tokens will be provided to the users to stake based on their wager. In the long term surely the virtual tokens will be given monetary value. For many it looks like an unwanted development, Stake might've got different plans for the same.

What you suggest is ideally the best option available for PCB. Do you think PCB will agree to such settlement? Najam Sethi is still saying the same thing that Ramiz Raja was saying earlier. I do not understand what makes them think they are bigger and better than BCCI? In every juncture they have been humiliated against their argument. A small board like PCB should always comply with a big board like BCCI if they want to generate good revenue from cricket for their country.

It is not like the PCB should dance to the whims and fancies of the BCCI. All I am saying is that rather than taking emotional decisions (which can do more harm to themselves), they should introspect and come up with the best possible solution. There are two things to be done for PCB administrators. First one is the short term solution. They should resolve the impasse surrounding Asia Cup. And the second one is the long term target, which is to dislodge the pig-4 system in cricket, which will prevent such issues from repeating in the future.
I would like agree with you in this point Because the Pakistan Cricket Board is not as powerful as the cricket boards of other countries, nor they don't much influence in the ICC prevail. So I think such move would set the Pakistan Cricket Board far behind the ICC and thereby put their cricket sports at risk.
So I don't support what Najam Sethi said, and I hope Pakistan will sort out the issues and participate in the game normally. I only took the name of Pakistan because as the saying goes, Might is right .
Right now whether they take some emotional decisions or they never take part into the world cup. Whatever, it is going to be financially affect Pakistan. As one of the user suggested finding a neutral venue and making arrangements on revenue sharing method seems to be the better choice. BCCI is in a position that no other cricket board can raise a question. PCB is struggling to run whereas BCCI is the richest sports organization. The difference is massive.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: February 09, 2023, 07:11:54 PM
When a new project is launched in a bearish market, the chances of getting payment are very low. In a bullish market, that probability increases manifold. But generally, if you participate in any promotional work for new projects, 98% of the work payment will not be paid. And even if you get it, it is not possible to do anything with that money because the project owners give new tokens as payment which have no value. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the labor if you understand about the project well before joining.
In the past bounty used to pay good to the participants. Those are young days of the cryptomarket. By the time more projects emerged and gave good rewards. Now the process involved with the project is hard and very few succeed. This is the reason why most of the bounties run away unpaid to its participants.
1196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cashless Policy & Redesigned of Banknotes Make Citizens to Use BTC in Nigeria on: February 09, 2023, 06:44:20 PM
The long queue infront of the ATM reminds me of the year 2016 when the Indian government announced demonetisation without any prior arrangements. People suffered much and many lost their lives standing in queue for long hours due to the temperature. Whenever something to be executed, first the government needs to educate the people and then go for it. Same looks to be the scenario with Nigeria government. It takes more time as people needs to understand as everything looks to be completely new for them.
1197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 09, 2023, 09:03:11 AM
Days back the pitch being made in favour of Indian spin bowling is into discussion. To make that true, today most wickets were to the spinners. Other than Cummins wicket, every wicket have fallen on Lbw, bowled out and stumping. Ashwin who hadn't got wickets have finally took the wickets of Cummins and Alex Carey. The match at the tea break, 174/8 and there is more chances of innings end within 200 runs. As said in the previous post, same struggle can be seen with the innings of India.
1198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do small e-commerce businesses are scared of accepting crypto payments? on: February 08, 2023, 11:41:51 PM
Even big corporate firms stopped bitcoin acceptance over time soon after the launch. When they expect something out of it and people weren't much interested in spending on terms of bitcoin this happens. One such example is the Bitcoin acceptance from travel support platform Expedia.

According to me, it is the small scale businesses that are much into cryptocurrency acceptance than large scale companies. This is all because of the trust they have over bitcoin's growth. Only thing these small scale businesses accepting bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are accumulated in specific countries and the same mentality need to widespread all around.
1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how many times have you intended to stop gambling on: February 08, 2023, 11:36:46 PM
almost every time I lose I always want to stop but to be honest the more I want to stop gambling the more difficult it will be so let's just say playing gambling is for fun at least when losing doesn't hurt too much
This is called consoling yourself. We can use the statement we need to use gambling for fun or as an entertainment same as that we spend on a movie or outing. In reality it is really hard for a layman, maybe the rich is able to allocate and do things in an organised without being hurt. According to me, even if we play for fun it hurts when we're on the losing streak.

Pakistan now have big match on 10 February between India vs Pakistan even we all know what is outcome of this match but still in this format any result is possible.
Once again the hype for the Pakistan vs India match have begun. It is quite surprising that I haven't come across much of advertisement promoting the match. With the men's match this used to be big business for the media. Tomorrow the first group stage match gonna start with the host country South Africa vs Sri Lanka.
