If I can't sell them at the price I'm asking for then I'll just keep mining with them until I can, they're worth more than what bitmain is selling them for, and when the price of bitcoin goes back up they'll be plenty profitable.
If you're not interested, move along, thanks.
I agree fully once the price of btc goes up so will profits even from older gear that's why i buy cheap now an so will the gear old or used an if you have solar, some one else pays your power bill i hate using the word free for that , or cheap power it shouldn't matter much now . I'm lucky i have solar and running old or used gear i bought last month. an looking to buy another L3 plus might buy a coupon then buy it . got any coupon for sell .. So...your Solar was free??

price increased 606 now Notice the L3++, this one may produce sligthly more or be more effective. No....no it doesn't. Just more Bitmain trickery and deception. They are desperate to clear the legacy Technology from their buildings. Their mining ops are moving to Canada and the US and they don't want to pack all that shit up. They also need room on their shelves for the newer technology units that they will screw us over on next. I can't wait until July or August when they announce the newer Scrypt and SHA256 units and all us guppies eat each other's tails begging and scrapping to get one or two units, while Bitmain sells 1000's behind our backs to large corporate mining businesses in back room deals. Same shit....different flies. When Bitmain opens their Mining here in Washington State, I hope some Eco-terrorists blow the place to Kingdom Come.

The whole town is against this facility and yet the government allows it. Hmmm, I wonder how much Bitmain paid in that bribe. Bitmain = Greedy devils. Never enough money for these parasites.

Latest on what an L3+ 500mh at 800 watts, costs me with electric/data hall costs all/etc at $130 LTC and one L3+ rent/elec at $80 a month...this setup is 'monthly' out of 'courtesy'
24 hours 0.03559155 LTC 4.63 USD 2.69 USD 1.94 USD 7 days 0.24914085 LTC 32.39 USD 18.82 USD 13.57 USD 30 days 1.06774651 LTC 138.81 USD 80.64 USD 58.17 USD
Not really sweating the 12 L3+'s at this rate of pay vs the dubious alts' I paid for them....if this keeps up ...it was a washout either way
damn, the above is ugly, ugly, ugly
Looks like these "data centers" are the only ones making money. I recommend they be burnt to the ground.

Halong is shipping 10NM Samsung chipped 16th miners. You can bet your sweet Satoshi, Bitmain is about to drop a bomb on their ass. As for a new L3+. I'll guarantee it. It's the easiest miner they make to upgrade. The thing is still 28NM. Only reason they didn't do it already is because so many people were blindly piling into mining at "any cost". Bitmain squeezed a LOT of blood out of that turnip.

I have Ordered 16x L3+($462) with 1x 420 and 15x 350 coupons on 10 April. But few hours later, support told me that the order will be canceled due to coupons issues.(the coupons can only deduct no more than 50% of the product price). Then i re-order 12x L3+($462) again with 12x 200 coupons.
$462-$200=262 still sweet.
The coupons pay for the shipping. So you are still paying around $500 per unit after shipping and import fees (assuming you are here in the US) yeah, 4 l3 plus at 2000 mhs and 3200 watts makes $19 a day even at the increased prices from this week. sub .07 cents power nets you $12 a day so $3 a u unit assuming scrptt hashrates stay constant thats six months roi not terrible but i have a feeling bitmain will pull the rug out like they always do, id stay away Why would anyone ever assume that!?!?!?

Why me? Because I don't have trust -2.
You’re pretty stupid. You also haven’t sold any of your overpriced hair dryers either. I’d rather have -2 than a bunch of miners that I lost my ass on. Idiot.

So you are still paying around $500 per unit after shipping and import fees (assuming you are here in the US) wrong 462+99=561-200 = 361 3% tax is 12 a unit so he paid 373 maybe 375 each. that would be 1 at a time since he ordered 12 shipping is 775 fedex to USA so 775 --------- shipping for 12 5544 --------- price for 12 6319 --------- pre coupon price 2400 --------- coupons 3919 --------- net for 12 or 326.58 each 3% customs could be .03 x 6319 = 189.57 highest add 15.82 to each one you get 342.40 .03 x 3919 = 117.57 lowest add 9.80 to each one you get 336.38 at 336 to 343 he did well these are perfect space heaters set them to freq 312 fans 24% you pull 690 watts hash at 410mh and not very loud I would say he scored. unless of course his KWh is above .10. Then it’s a loser no matter what.

Not too bright there champ. You just fell for their "clearance sale". When the 16nm L4 comes out in July you'll still be upside down on those things. When will people learn? ? What do you think the Scrypt hash rates are gonna do when a miner hits that's twice as efficient?

Again, to clarify why I got 6 units each from the last 2 price batches of L3+'s on the Bitmain site....(not everyone will have this angle to try this) Total of 12 Bitmain L3+'s with PSU's etc. or you could call it "The convuluted bigger miner hedge..that may not work..and just moving the deck chairs around on the Titanic project!" To clarify why a few miners (that have Bitmain L3+'s that have ROI'd already...providing an income stream and self-employed solo401k) MAY want to get these Bitmain L3+ units now........
brad
I was thinking this too, buy a small number of these cheap to add to my small production , using coupons and all, with a relatively short term ROI , and "dollar cost average" machines I bought in Jan / Feb ... all which you basically already stated, but my worry is new Scrypt miners may soon be hitting the market (not the 15TH that someone just mentioned...) but the next GEN of SCRYPT that would ruin the idea of buying more ... HMMM ... Also I just noticed that BITMAIN accepting USD WIRE, BCH, BTC, and LTC ... when I bought back in FEB they only accepted BCH and USD wire, and some units I bought in JAN could only be bought with BCH ... wonder why the openness to accept more forms of payment now?? People keep forgetting the L3+ is a 28NM board technology. Trust me, it's coming. It's not that big a feat for them to update it. Look at the LTC Diff. It's parabolic. Bitmain is already hashing the new tech. Here comes the BOOM!!

POS is a complete joke. No real protocol has or will use it. It's easily hackable and it promotes centralized control. Why do you think not one single coin that is anywhere near legitimate, is POS. POS = Piece Of Shit. If ETH goes POS it will be dead in 6 months to a year. It may run as a POW/POS hybrid, but 100% POS? Little Dracula would be an idiot to do that.
Ever heard of NEO, Lisk, and Stratis? Yeah, all are complete garbage and have receded to levels not even remotely recoverable from. $9.00, $4.00 all down 80-90 % from their Pump and Dump highs. I'm glad too because all the stunned brain dead fools that "staked" it are getting their asses handed to them. Deservedly so. POS.... yeah those are great examples. Thanks.

Jenia....I know you know better than this. Did someone hack your account. The freaking things are $400.00 cheaper from Bitmain right now. Is this a joke?
|
|
|
The bitmain is a horrible company. The cost initial was US$800 and now are US$1.800, but in the other Asics, down the cost.
China and Russia are country communist and want the Earth domination.
If the Bitmain sells the E3 more expensively, other ASIC manufacturers will produce, so there will not be Bitmain dominance. Too late.....Bitmain Dominance has been achieved.

The max coupon for the L3+ is a $200 one anyway.
Depends when you are talking about, I paid 2000.00 for batch 1 early this year and had some 500.00 coupons that I was able to use for more L3+, but I also have some 350.00 coupons that when the miners were 800something, I was still able to apply but never ordered, I would like to use them now to get some cheap miners to offset the cost of the gouge I paid at 2K, I just opened a ticket and told them just that...I guess they aren't a billion dollar company for nothing...I want to see what they say... Good luck. They're not usually very accommodating. Or....you could just wait a month when the prices will be cut again.
