just trying out mining. Wallet v3.2.2.2 will not sync. I added the above addnodes to config, apps data... still no luck. I may have missed something?

A bag full of ETN can be game changer for anyone upon the reversal trend in market. Of course when you buy should estimate risk and time of holding in case market doesn't work as you planned. ETN is one of the highly potential coin for the rest of the year in spite of all the decline in its value. Just don't loose patience in the middle of shaking out phase.
This bag sell get back to stone age. I think seeing this situation holders will start to sell ASAP to get some money back. Because less and less response and changes from the devs, more and more marketing, far and far from whitepaper. The only argument left these 2 mln of "users" - ppl who on error or curiosity downloaded the app, but do not know what ETN is about... in my opinion, i don't think its wise to hodl bags or bag of etn at the moment because for quite some time now all we good see is downward turn on price of etn and less activities in the project, for now am not hodling any etn just following up on project to see new update, might get in again maybe for the cheapness of it, who knows  Well I'm not going to sell at a loss. I will continue to hold as long as it takes. I'm certainly not going to give them away for someone else to hodl lol Aside from any gripes with the devs, ETN does still manage to corner a lot of publicity compared to other coins in its class. So there is still hope for an up tick. Actually ETN trade volume still seems to be relatively healthy and I know BTC holders are feeling the pinch in this up and down climate with crypto as well. If nothing else, its a good time to buy lol  |

Nice big flashy announcement from Richard Ells. Yet the price continues to fall and flounder, so why is that..... almost "all show no go" But anyways congrats on CoinBene! if its so, I haven't looked only read this and supposedly its a big deal? lol ya especially after they switched back to ASIC mining to appease them and others.... guess it didn't work out so good. Actually it seems to work out way better as the GPU debacle than back. At least the coin is 51% attack secure. Actually one of the very view ones that can no longer be 51% attacked. That alone is a huge success and only a handfull coins/projects including ETN is at least safe from nicehash 51% attacks. As far as the 51% attack, its more in theory than a real event. In 5 1/2 years I've never known of an intentional attack on a coin that was worth anything. There was a time with BTC a fork happened unintentionally but was quickly identified and miners took action to correct. And that was in the CPU/GPU days If anyone can identify an attack that resulted in the true takeover of a coin by an entity with malicious intentions please link it here. Id like to know, always a chance I missed it lol You know that when someone speaks/writes about 51% attacks it includes all kind of attacks, beginning from time spoofing up to selfish mining attacks, as with all you need for a given time bigger % of the nethash. A pure 51% take over attack is the worst case, doesn't mean that the other attacks are much better, as every successfull attack is just bad for a given project. A project being secure from whatever such attacks is a huge advantage only a view coins have and right now ETN is one of these view coins/tokesn/projects that due the huge asic hashrate can not longer be attacked. If you need info about 2018 successfull attacks, let me know, can write you a list with at least 20 coins and multi 10M damage/stollen/hacked/spoofed/ coins. EXACTLY!! Couldnt have said it better myself!!! And on a side note, theyve had a Monero Dev hired for months now, along with other highly capable Devs in the crypto space. Those that think theyre lacking in Tech, have been listening to way too much FUD. Though they didnt plan to fork and then fork right back, other than that, they havent made "mistakes", just decisions some dont agree with because they are taking actions as if this is a startup, not just launching a coin. Remember, were still growing and continuing to add users at a faster pace than Facebook and Twitter did at this time in their history!! We are also still on pace to be the coin with the most active users within a year from now. Already, in less than a year, we are more than halfway to passing BTC in total number of users. I was simple referring to a takeover. Just haven't heard or read of anything significant in my time or the coins i have mined /stollen/hacked/spoofed/ coins.

What's going on with Coinbene listing? I thought Electroneum was planned to start trading there on July 24th, but it hasn't. Any info what's up?

They should have left ETN GPU mining, what a big mistake! they just don't get it.
Today #93 on coinmarketcap, seems the asics are doing better for ETN than the gpu's did, i mean the rented gpu hashpower of course lol you are right! People don't even bother to back up their statement when they're talking about GPU>ASIC like they know something the devs don't. Yes, we GPU hobby miners have less coins to work with, but that's no reason for a coin to fail. Well if you read back just a little bit you will see i have backed up my statements on GPU vs Asics. People don't even read in a thread but the last page they are on like you obviously. You show your ignorance by making a statement like that. Ya the devs really know what they are doing LOL!!!! they are ignorant too. How many screw ups now since launch. Poor coding and more? Oh ya and the ETN price is realllly rocking right? a pathetic 157 last I looked and was over 200 and climbing when they wimped out and went back to a ASICS under pressure by outsiders..... ok. Anyone have any issues with hash rate on this pool: https://music.mypool.onlineMy pool hash is about 100 M/h less than actual miners hash rate... Just wondering if pool is skimming hash rate? All else is fine. Thinking about switching to another pool, any suggestions? 100 M/h less even using long average? those averages go up and down but over a longer period of time, you should be getting your real hash. You can try mining using a higher/lower difficulty(via different port). It's best to mine at a difficulty that suits your total hash. Or you can check if you have network issues between your rig and the pool e.g. dropped packets, high ping times Hey ya, even on the long stats. And am mining on port 8005 which seems to be the only port available. Except for a nicehash port 8405? Maybe try that lol Mining Akroma, I had the same miner hash vs pool hash. So just was wondering. is there any hope that electroneum will return to penetrate price above 10 cent? are you still a loyal holder for electroneum? I hope there is a moment for ETN back towards the moon and have a nice ratting in markecap,minimum 10 big in coinmarketcap I think as in all coins, once the dust settles and there is no more weird code issues and its getting more exposure through new apps, exchanges etc, I think we will see this coin really start to move up. The thing with all the buy offers right now, is not people buying to use for purchases etc. they are buying to hold for a better price... speculation investment, which I think right now is prime time to be buying it up. and it it appears many others see it that way lol I wouldn't hold my breath for 10 cents however.... that may be a long ways off yet. |
