Anyone have any results yet for the RX 580 - 570 cards?

I noticed they are keeping prices up on the 480 line  Roll Eyes

Please post

Hi,

I'm having an issue with my Gigabyte R9 280x (windforce OC).
The card hashrate is at 300+-, (core clock at 1100) but after a while, for no reason the hashrate drops at 50% (and I have noticed that the core clock drops to 501).
I have do reboot the system or disable/enable the card in device manager to hash at 300 again (for a while, after it drops at 150 again)

Anyone else having the same issue or any idea what is causing this?  Huh

Thank you in advance!
are you running just the one card?

What fan temp control software are you running?

Sounds like it getting hot and throttling down the clock

Hi friends!

For those who has 290s. Im getting 360 h/s. But the card runs at 80 degree celsius. 76% fan speed. Is it normal for that card? I have several 280x. And they run at less then 70°.

No one knows ?

I'm getting 310 h/s on 3 x 290x and 383 h/s on a 390

Temps I have capped not to exceed 83. I am fighting the heat of the south now in my garage. But have had higher hashes during the winter. I don't want to burn em up lol

So I would say your h/s vs. temps is very good and about right  Wink

and yes on the 280x's I run 11 of those and the 4 x 280x rigs average 1.1 kh/s and run cool around 72. Great cards for ZEC  Smiley

Bottom line is, Bitcoin is in moon territory now or at least this is as good as it been in a very long time and in a much better way  Shocked

To me Bitcoin is a payment system first, then it has or gains value based on that demand. However since real world acceptance to use bitcoin for buying things has not really happened, it has become more of a stock, really just like a big poker game in the end lol when to hold and when to fold Grin

Exiting week ahead, $1400-$1500 is very plausible followed with a decent $100-$200+ dump.

Alt-coin bubble pops will make bitcoin rocket to $2000  Grin
Nah I really don't think Alts are in a bubble, but they tend to bounce up and down lol To the contrary I think a healthy Alt market helps BTC stability and price and creates demand  Shocked

Nice to see everyone in good spirits tonight! including myself lol, but.... time will tell, although I see no reason for BTC to hold back. Alts doing well too  Grin

Why is there a $45 spread between Coinbase and Bitstamp?
I sold .50 BTC today on Coinbase to pay the electric and the spread was around 20.00

When I sell its a greater spread but when I buy, its more spot on, closer to averages. I have always assumed that's just how they make their money... buy low sell high  Grin

Hey gang, well I'm pretty happy with things  Smiley

I think the coast it clear for new highs. Finally, after 3 months of craziness getting to this point lol

Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?

I've been too busy to watch the show but every time I check the score we're further ahead.

How's that for mixing metaphors?

Edit: just hit $1600CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Now that's entertaining. Cool

i'm still fucking fuming over SW being blocked because it disrupts a covert advantage that bitmain have *ahem* totally not been using.
Exactly... seems to all be making sense now lol ....Segwit/Bu

Just saw your comment after I posted lol

Asic Boost?

Maybe this is why Bitmain (Jihan Wu) wants BU so bad  Shocked

Further, it is argued that Segregated Witness would, as a bi-product of its code, make this specific technique obsolete.

Interesting. This may be old news but I just read up on this  Cheesy

Personally I make more money in crypto when BTC is struggling lol  Grin

But I also think that without a strong BTC all crypto's will eventually suffer too
894  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 04, 2017, 01:36:02 AM
it really odd that the ETF denial didnt kill bitcoin.

 Grin
Nah that one thing wouldn't kill BTC, it would have helped it no doubt, but BTC has been holding its own for a while before that all came down.

I'm sure ETF lives on for another battle another day...

Not that I have closely followed those events  Grin

In terms of a crypto as a currency, the only thing that always has haunted me in the back of my mind is its dependence on the internet. Ever take that away we have nothing in crypto.  Grin

Don't see that ever happening on a broad scale... guess we can trade potatoes if it does lol

BTC is looking good today!!  Shocked
896  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 01, 2017, 02:09:47 PM
So what's up with these little altcoin icons under our names? lol Just now noticed it  Huh
897  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 01, 2017, 01:49:04 PM
Well now we see BTC returning to almost normality, and as predicted Alts are returning to their normal line up with ETH back on top. Another day or 2 and Litecoin and Ripple will move back down to normal volumes as well as the rest, with Monero moving back up   Grin

Hopefully we are seeing confidence in BTC coming back...... no sign of a fork  Wink

We going to see 1100.00 today? I think so. Any positive news is always good  Smiley we need it

All these Alt coin pumps are short lived for the most part. Great if you have the various coins to sell, or just jump in and go to the moon. But once BTC settles again... it will be back to the same old line up with Alts... starting with ETH  Grin
