121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto oversight legislation be needed in every country? on: January 18, 2018, 01:38:12 AM
Regulations will be implemented simply because governments want to benefit from the profits made by taxing them.
Stop dreaming and wake up... do you really believe the different government (especially in Europe) that always try to pillage everything on a daily basis, especially the defenseless, the unemployed, the workers, the savers... these governments will let crypto-currencies settle, currencies that people can freely exchange?
These governments already wish to kill cash whenever they can.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: January 18, 2018, 01:09:49 AM
No fear. If you invested an amount you can afford to lose then you'll be fine whatsoever. You need to be disciplined, settle for a stop loss in case, and stick to it whatever happens.
Those who sold their house to buy bitcoin are not reasonable, of course I'll fear the situation if I was them but that's not something I would do myself.
123  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advcash | a new "anonymous" bitcoin debit card [EUR & USD] on: January 18, 2018, 01:05:54 AM
EXMO BTC withdraw fee = 0,001 BTC
almost as all other places

localbitcoin withdraw fee ~ 0.00025 BTC yesterday
Advcash do not offer the localbitcoin option. But they have a list of a few exchanges I never heard about (Epese, Yandex, Wex).
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 16:55EST Coinbase locks eth btc and ltc purchases? on: January 18, 2018, 01:01:30 AM
I still cannot verify my account with them though, they are too many registrations lately it seems.
Anyone else?
125  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you check Bitcoin price everyday? on: January 18, 2018, 12:55:36 AM
With the recent "crash" it was important for me to check several times a day since I have set my price at $6,000 to sell if things go wrong. Luckily it did not get close to that price, and I hope it won't ever.
126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin headed to $100,000 in 2018, says analyst who predicted last year's price on: January 17, 2018, 04:32:15 AM
I really doubt it, but I do think Bitcoin will overtake the 25k bar at some stage before the end of the year.
Interestingly, the history of the price shows:
2015: Low was Jan 15
2016: Low was Jan 16
2017: Low was Jan 12
2018: Low was Jan 17? Wait and see, but it is not time yet to panic.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: January 17, 2018, 04:24:50 AM
As far as I am concerned, I do believe experience matters. It helps to be more lucid. If you lose then try to understand why and try something different. For example some services offer the possibility to play just like at other casinos, but you can also be "The House". the "investing" section of the website allows you to earn profits off other players, this is a perfect alternative.
Just always remember to play amounts you can afford to lose, friendly advice  Wink
128  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to fall below $8000 on: January 17, 2018, 04:07:32 AM
I predict bitcoin will go down to 8000 and below due to exchange sites shutting down and massive crack downs in various countries.
Which exchange websites are you talking about? Kraken? Kraken seems to be back and running well now.
Which countries? All I heard about was a false rumor on South Korea banning Bitcoin, "false" in the sense that as usual the main information was misunderstood (South Korea is thinking to forbid anonymous trading of cryptocurrencies, which is not the same thing as "banning Bitcoin").

There is a summit in Buenos Aires soon regarding regulations to be implemented, but no info about this yet and it is in April anyway.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD for small payments, Bitcoin Cash is the FUTURE on: January 16, 2018, 09:53:29 AM
Bitcoin had fast transaction times and low fees too when it was used by almost no one. The reason the real Bitcoin has high fees is because people are willing to pay that amount to be included in the blockchain. Bcash is useless. If you want fast and small transactions you can use hundreds of other coins like Dogecoin, Litecoin etc.

Agreed about Litecoin, which is a better version of Bitcoin IMO, while Bitcoin Cash is pretty much a Bitcoin clone coming from a fork and getting popular because if its name + some big hype from Roger Ver and the likes.
130  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Faucet on: January 16, 2018, 09:50:48 AM
IMO a site that doesn't explicitly say they won't payout on faucet winnings is a site that can't be trusted to payout on deposit winnings either.
That's why you should your homework before making a deposit and choose a website that has good reputation, for example bitvest (they pay you quickly whenever you ask for a withdrawal).
No one can expect to get rich by winning at a faucet but it is a nice way to get some extra money, and then choose or not to play with that extra money to earn even more, it is up to you.  Wink
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin casino. Have anyone played them? Are they trustable? on: January 16, 2018, 02:01:10 AM
Yes I have, you just need to be careful to choose a reliable and reputable website. Bitvest is solid and has good bonus too (tokens for players who are active on their chat). They offer roulette as well, and dice. I recommend it. Deposits and withdrawals are usually very quick.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your first betting? on: January 16, 2018, 01:54:30 AM
First time ever was back in 2010 when I stepped in a casino in Perth (Australia), played the roulette games, applied martingale system and won $140 (still remember the amount Smiley).
Since then I've been a fan of casinos and sports betting, gambling in general, right now I play most of the time at www.bitvest.io because I know it is reliable when you ask for withdrawals. Aiming at the faucet too Smiley
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Relationships! on: January 15, 2018, 02:38:49 AM
If gambling only appeals to one person in a relationship, then that relationship won't be healthy and could even turn out badly if the other person is really against it.

What more if both couple are addicted in gambling. Gambling is really not good for a family because it can ruin your family easily specially when the both of our parents always go to gamble. If you really love your family, you will choose good relationships than to gamble. We have a lot of resources to make money, so better to do it on a right way.

Women into gambling are very few compared to men though. But I agree with the advice above, gambling is fun as long as it remain a fun activity.
I believe many men hide their addiction to their wife, and this is not good in the long term.
Casino games should remain fun and a possibility to earn a bit of money with some extra money you can afford to lose  Wink
134  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2018 is death of bitcoin? on: January 15, 2018, 01:50:31 AM
The old must die to make room for the new and today we have the new birth of a child
by the name of Segwit2x and his tiny little fees would make any new mother happy

Stop loss on BTC at $10,000 is what I am doing and anyone that thinks this could never
happen best just get on with it.
A "stop loss" is the best advice for sure. I got mine at $6,000 we are still very far from this price.
The mistakes most do is to hold whatever happens, I cannot agree with this philosophy. A stop loss has saved me in the stock markets multiples times.
Once I bought a stock at $7.00, I sold it at $5.2, very glad I did the price is $1.8 while I am typing this. Unless you are investing with money you do not care about, to set a stop loss is crucial in this field.
135  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2018 is death of bitcoin? on: January 15, 2018, 01:46:53 AM
It's up and down lately. For me the biggest risk was another coin overtaking Bitcoin because it proved to be better and easier to use for the daily usage. Bitcoin has a fees concern and that's why the price began to go down last month. I still believe Lightning Network needs to be implemented.
I have no idea when it will be the case. Actually the technology is said to be already operational but not vastly used yet.
Ethereum has a bright future, so I would suggest you split your risks into two or more coins.
136  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Faucet on: January 15, 2018, 01:36:56 AM
My advice would be to try your luck at reputable service that you can trust 100%. A service that you know will pay you when you win.
For instance, www.bitvest.io has been on the market for a while now and they do pay when you win.
I heard plenty of stories of people playing on other fishy websites, winning at faucet and not getting paid...
137  Economy / Gambling / Re: When a Gambler/Player Dies on: January 15, 2018, 01:30:18 AM
With NitrogenSports, the money stays in the account. I have a referral that has 0.4999BTC sitting in his account for months. Zero bets...
Pretty sure the rules say the funds are kept for 2 or 3 years usually.
But I think you are wrong about Nitrogen, the affiliate section tells you the total amount deposited but it does not tell you if the funds have been withdrawn or not (or correct me if I am wrong).
138  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advcash | a new "anonymous" bitcoin debit card [EUR & USD] on: January 15, 2018, 01:22:38 AM
deposit BTC via EXMO fee, limit ? pls..

EXMO code -> Advcash wallet

You really do not need to use EXMO. You directly deposit fund to your advcash account using BTC.
I see, so I am guessing this is the service of Advcash called Advcash Top Up.
You need to select Bitcoin here > see picture
However I am afraid the rate is not that good. I see for Exmo it is written "Instant"... Exmo rates are usually much better.
139  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advcash | a new "anonymous" bitcoin debit card [EUR & USD] on: January 14, 2018, 02:48:22 PM
Thanks btcwish1. That really helps.
Exmo rates are fantastic, I hope they can process quick payments, I will try to make a transaction soon to see if all goes well.
All the best.
140  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advcash | a new "anonymous" bitcoin debit card [EUR & USD] on: January 14, 2018, 02:05:22 PM
Funding ADV with BTC is very easy - just go to "Deposit Funds" select "Amount and currency of deposit" and "Country" scroll down to "E-currencies Bitcoin" press "Deposit" and "Confirm" - it will display the Bitcoin address for transfer and the amount in BTC.

After that you will receive funds to you ADV wallet ( to which you have ADV card tied-up ).

Hope this helps
Hi psh,
I just saw this option as well. They process the transfer with exchanges such as Exmo, Wex... etc. do you need to have accounts at those platforms (if by any chance you know)?
