I just really wish someone would crash the site permanently so we could all move on with life after LTC gear, I have written the money off and see it for what it is one elaborate scam.
I do believe that Chris may of been mining to start off with, and his product were fairly expensive, however then came the 1yr anniversary sales, and I imagine he made so much money it wasn't funny. He then stopped those sales just prior to the black friday sales. Now up to this stage we all got paid and those who bought in August had ROI + profit. So then the 40K packs at $12,000 a piece and 3K packs at $800. Now I saw so many group buys it was not funny, I at this stage decided not to invest for one good reason, and that was unless Chris had built a who knew block of warehouses and built a power plant there was no way that this new hashing power was ever being turned on.
See people got greedy and lost out, I do not feel sorry for any one as no one forced you to buy, everyone needed to do their own research and make their own minds up. If you lost tens of thousands of dollars, live with it and move on.

Of course its good news. I hope the price drops even further so more of the newbie (I'm gonna get rich on this overnight) crowd leave (hopefully having realised a loss so they dont return). What I do know for fact is about 12 mths ago a well known dev was in the process of taking over & resurrecting the coin and the original dev stepped in & put a stop to it.
It wouldnt surprise me if Homero has paid the original dev a relatively trivial amount of money to acquire 'rights' to it.

With everything that's happened I wouldn't be surprised if the only person who knows what's happening is Josh. Every new announcement sounds like he's making it up as he's going, and the rest of his team is trying to keep up with the changing tide.
This has been the case for many moons. I did make money from his first 'hashlet' venture but then bailed when I saw the profits starting to dwindle. I should be grateful I guess, but then I did make money at other people's expense as he was unable to 'keep the ball rolling' due to his ineptitude (IMO you dont go to Vegas for a party when your business is just taking off and needs your full attention). He was someone with a great idea (ie move from hardware to cloud/shares) but a terrible businessman that failed to pull it off. I also get the distinct impression that since then he's been someone who's been forced to keep the game going in order to pay his liabilities, but every plan he has put into action so far has failed miserably. I'm glad I'm not in his shoes right now. |

I guess it is useless to report missing affiliate payments since no one has received them. O, well  . Reporting 'missing' affiliate payouts for the last week (week ending Dec 19) and payouts for Dec 26 is pointless as they were never paid and so are not actually missing. |
