You're giving these XST trolls more credit than they deserve. After all their efforts they've achieved nothing but thread pollution and reports on their accounts. They're doing nothing more than publicly displaying their ignorance to the entire crypto community. It's ok though, it's a venting period for them. This thread is nothing more than a baseless scam accusation. It's product of a review of XST's StealthSend whitepaper which never made it into production. The XST developer promised to deliver his spec without testing or having it peer reviewed. This is by definition vapor and as a result smart investor exited Stealthcoin. Rather than accept reality they've chose to smear one of the leading pioneers in the privacy space, Shadow.

The review happened on the fly by a few of the Bitcoin core developers: Greg Maxwell and Andytoshi.

This thread serves as a recovery for people who chased riches without doing their due diligence before investing in XST. BobSurplus who is a known scammer was pumping Stealthcoin and people still refused to recognize the scam.

The devs are in a testing cycle so the spec changes based on results. The reason why you didn't get more info is because the spec is changing after each test cycle so the information you initially would of received would of been inaccurate.

Shadow is the farthest thing from vapor I've seen in this section of bitcointalk. It's delivered on every one of it's promises. There isn't a spec for SS2 yet because the devs are finalizing and reviewing it before posting. Unlike vapor it's already in the testing cycle. The spec changes as a result from testing cycles.

You were the only person I saw come into the channel and ask them legitimate questions about XST. I was offline for that bit, but I have respect that you fact checked the information provided by longandshort instead of resorting to them mindless trolling like the guys invading this thread.

Viper1 you are correct, this whole thing is pathetic. It has nothing to do with SDC and everything to do with XST. Longandshort started this investigation by inquiring about the feasibility, not me. In fact, you should take your queries back up with Greg he's the one of the guys who gave his expert opinion on it, not me. Devs shouldn't post specs as promises when they haven't done their homework.

Nice attempt to take my words and twist them around. You think that because you found a post for a coin which topped all the exchanges and pools it was on for the 3 days it was in existence somehow translate me trading and mining the coin into hypocrisy?

The lesson learned here: No matter how good the coin is doing and how great the presentation is by the developer at the time - you need to fact check otherwise you will be left getting scammed. I mined that coin and because I have my own rigs it didn't cost me anything.

Yep, everything is good on SDC's end. There's just a lot of upset XST investors look for a place to vent their remorse. it has nothing to do with SDC though. The XST whitepaper was reviewed by some of the bitcoin core devs and they came to the conclusion that it was unfeasible. As a result, they are looking to blame SDC because they didn't take the time to research their investment.

Learn from your mistakes and make better investment decisions that are based on logic and reason - not vaporware.

Neither longandshort, gmaxwell, andytoshi or myself had any financial motivation or gain from this recent vaporware exposure. If anything we've shed light on on investor ignorance, greed and misplaced trust. There are a handful of investors that realized it was vapor and exited the market. I'd like to believe we earned respect from at least one of them and to me that's all the motivation I need.

As a matter of fact I do care. Dev's making promises to uneducated investors results in a transfer of wealth from the uneducated to the educated. The endless cycle of sucking new investors dry never ends unless people like longandshort, bitcoin core devs and myself fact check claims by developers.

Not one person in that community decided to have that paper peer reviewed before investing to see if it was feasible or not. Now that is either ignorance, greed or misplaced trust.
