121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AT THE END, ONLY YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURSELF on: April 11, 2019, 02:33:35 PM
WHAT IF?
What if men like Warren Buffet makes a U-turn and praises the bitcoin that he had not fully study it and understood it during the times he did criticized it?

that still should NOT change YOUR mind Wink

you are saying it yourself. YOU will be responsible for whatever. so it should not matter what Warren Buffet or anybody else is saying about bitcoin. you should analyze it yourself and only dump your fiat for bitcoin if you saw the benefit of that otherwise you should stay away even if others were doing otherwise!
122  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Could Blitz Beyond $150,000 During Next Bull Cycle in 2023 on: April 08, 2019, 08:50:56 AM
I don’t think we will have to wait until 2023 for the peak of the next bull run. It’s more likely to arrive in late 2021 or any time in 2022.
I hope it will happen in this year and the next year because the signal still on the green candle and maybe this week, we can see a new highest price at all market. And if this week, the price can increase higher, then we can hope that in this month will be a great step for bitcoin and altcoin to rise again and change the trend from the bear market into the bull market.

it is simply impossible to reach $150k (which is a 4900% rise) in one year for bitcoin because it is not a pump and dump altcoin. but it is going to be easy to get there in 2 years starting from 2019 meaning hit the ATH this year's end and rally up in next year.
123  Economy / Speculation / Re: I SMELL FOMO on: April 08, 2019, 08:31:18 AM
What's your opinion on this?? Bitcoin seems too be accumulating value since Tuesday morning... the bull is here.. ?? Or it's bait??
To me the bull is here and it is not FUD or FOMO.  We can see steady grow in bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies market price since the middle of last month and it is still growing.  Bitcoin may cross $6000 this week and it means if you have bitcoin you should keep holding it.
If the price does not move on a natural way that can be associated because of the FOMO.
Well, hopefully you are correct that BTC would reach $6,000 anytime soon as that was the price where I thought BTC already dip.

although not reaching $6000 right away is no indication of FOMO or anything like that but i have to say we are already seeing a lot of positive signs in the market that is a pointing towards the recovery that we were waiting for ever since price went below $6k a couple of months ago. and from there we can be sure of the beginning of the next bull run to reach $100k+ in 1-2 years.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO PROMOTE BITCOIN MASS ADOPTION? on: April 08, 2019, 08:21:57 AM
In the first place it is depending on legal regulation and financial baseground that are necessary for mass adoption both by individuals and businesses.

you are basically saying that bitcoin has failed!
as a decentralized currency the whole point of bitcoin has always been to NOT need regulations, government intervention, or anything like that. so if you are saying adoption of it depends on regulation by the government then you are saying bitcoin has failed.

and that is not the case. bitcoin doesn't need regulation and for the past 10 years it has continued being adopted without any regulations and will continue doing so just as well.
not to mention that in most cases regulations only means more taxes and limitations and nothing constructive.
125  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the next economic collapse trigger massive crypto adoption? on: April 06, 2019, 09:38:11 AM
during a financial crisis people always look for more security specially because they are scared by that time due to the events that led to that crisis itself which was mostly due to their bad investments like what happened in 2008 where banks fucked up the world.

cryptocurrencies, mainly altcoins are considered the super duper ultra risky investments in the whole world. which means people will stay away from them and we can easily see a very large scale altcoin dump if a crisis like that happens.

i would separate bitcoin from the herd though because it IS different and unlike most altcoins it is decentralized. so for example if 2008 repeated and banks were going down, they will pull out of a lot of these coins that they helped create like Ripple and Ethereum so you can be sure of their demise.
and at the same time it means a stronger bitcoin due to all the altcoin dump, the people exiting their corrupted financial systems to a clean decentralized system that has never seen any traces of corruption by banks,...
126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you be satisfied with steady, gradual rise of BTC price? on: April 06, 2019, 09:24:17 AM
this could only satisfy me if the price (like the current one) was a healthy one then we could have had a healthy stable rise from there. but when we are in a price that is the result of an unhealthy manipulation (dump) that has brought it in an unstable state, all we can expect is wild rises because this low price is just as bad and unstable as the high price at the top of the bubble.
127  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash having nices days! on: April 06, 2019, 09:10:30 AM
what happened was very simple and very common. bitcoin price went up about 30% and altcoins got dumped around 10% to 20% and that difference showed up in their USD value as "rise" so people thought they were also rising.
When Bitcoin price raising up altcoins also should be swinging their price either it will pump or dump because of the dollar price. However, we could not blame people of what they are thinking regarding the price sudden raising up. Because we all hoping that the price of bitcoin become bullish in the market and now we feel the presence of a bullish trend.

No doubt with BCH that it has the potential to have a profitable coin someday like Ethereum.

i am not blaming anybody for what they think i am blaming them for what they say because it is wrong.
as for the pump, they always happen because bitcoin owners want profit on their bitcoins and the best way to do it is to pump altcoins. one of the better ways has been to fork bitcoin and call it bitcoin-something and make millions from the process like what BCH did. these coins have no potential whatsoever apart from their pumps which only last a short time before they get dumped again.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meet the Wealthiest People in Crypto on: April 06, 2019, 08:55:06 AM
Quote
Forbes recently released a listing of the arena’s richest individuals in phrases of cryptocurrency.
Give us a source of this. I would glad to read to know the names of the wealthiest in crypto.
Some of the richest I know was the founder of BitmeX and Binance.

you can easily find the "source" on the internet if you search the topic with the name "Forbes". but let me tell you that you will be disappointed because there is no "names" in that list, there is only speculation and bitcoin addresses that they are evaluating the price of.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mempool: from over 75000 to less than 10000 on: April 06, 2019, 08:42:21 AM
no it was not coffee purchase and it was not spam attack. it was price rise.

each time bitcoin price rises a large number of people (the traders) start moving funds around:
- from their wallets to exchanges to sell and take the profit
- buying on exchanges out of FOMO or as they see the rise signal and moving it out of risky exchanges back to their wallets
- dumping altcoins and moving the bitcoins they receive to bitcoin exchanges or to their wallets to sell or hold.
and all that increases the number of onchain transactions drastically.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can the centralization of Bitcoin mining pools be prevented? on: April 06, 2019, 08:38:49 AM
the risk that we should always try and prevent is the centralization of mining not mining pools because pools don't control the hashrate the miners with actual equipment generating the hashrate and doing the work control everything. and history has proven that whenever they feel like a risk is rising they always change their pools and move to safer places.

it is not that hard to create pools either so to prevent mining pools from having higher hashrates you can start creating more better pools for people to connect to.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Neo based Stable coin will change Stable coin history...? on: April 05, 2019, 04:00:48 PM
every time a moderately new coin comes out people think the same thing, they always say this is going to change everything and be the number one. but each time we are only left with a big disappointment as we see these new coins are no different than the older versions of themselves. they just have a new name and a new face but they are exactly the same everywhere else that counts.
132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wow, the bears are back, if we're not careful they'll eat us too :) on: April 05, 2019, 03:57:22 PM
actually the bears never went anywhere there are those bears who saw the change so they stopped being a "bear" and changed with the market since they didn't want to be left behind and get crushed by the market. and there are those who refused to change and after losing 30% of their investment are now scared and are trying so hard to make "bearish" trades to make back what they blow up in smokes.
133  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash having nices days! on: April 05, 2019, 03:17:47 PM
it is funny how these days i keep seeing the same topic all around the internet where people say bitcoin and XYZ are having nice days Cheesy
the funny part is that we only saw bitcoin rise while those XYZ coins got dumped which was the case with BCH too.

BCH has even risen up to $340. Yes, it was a very good increase. But I am not sure whether it is bullrun. Because the developments have happened suddenly, and I do not understand what happened.

what happened was very simple and very common. bitcoin price went up about 30% and altcoins got dumped around 10% to 20% and that difference showed up in their USD value as "rise" so people thought they were also rising.
134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price should be $14,000 - Tom Lee on: April 05, 2019, 02:59:42 PM
i think Tom Lee is starting to get unusually excited about bitcoin again so he is predicting these unrealistic prices just like he did last year.
i personally think bitcoin has been very under appreciated for the past 7-8 months and its current value should be a lot higher than $4k but even i don't think we are ready for $14k price yet.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Claiming Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin SV? on: April 05, 2019, 02:50:25 PM
if you decided to use Coinomi just remember that it is a closed source wallet that you are using so you have no way of knowing what the wallet file you installed is doing on your device. it may be sending information you are don't like to their servers. and it has happened in the past where they sent the wallet seed to their servers.
136  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum create new wallet with same seed on: April 05, 2019, 02:45:44 PM
This what I found while searching answer to your question.
If you ever imported private keys into electrum. They CANNOT be restored from the seed and if you don't have a digital copy of the wallet. They are lost forever.
have you done it?

you can't both have a seed for your electrum wallet (OP said he has the seed) and also import private keys, the wallet is designed in a way that it simply doesn't allow you to do that for exactly this reason that people lose access!
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy more Dash? on: April 03, 2019, 08:37:40 AM
the best time to invest in altcoins was (as it always is) when bitcoin price was stable at $3900 to $4200. because during bitcoin stability the pumpers always focus their attention on altcoins and the real market (bitcoin) being unprofitable due to stability makes every investor want to invest in altcoins.

but when bitcoin starts rising (like it is now) it becomes a bad idea to invest in altcoins because as you can see they lose value against bitcoin and their USD value doesn't go up as big either so it is best to invest in bitcoin only during these times (as others do the same too and is visible from altcoin price dumps).
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc hodling or a dash masternode? on: April 03, 2019, 08:20:03 AM
it depends on how much risk you are willing to take and whether it is a long term or a short term thing.
obviously Dash like all the other pump and dump altcoins is very risky and will get dumped on you meaning you will lose a lot of money. but also it can get pumped and during those pumps it can be very profitable specially if you also run a masternode. but it is not easy to start a masternode and then dump before the pumps end.

i personally prefer trading during pumps because it is so much faster and easily. you can pull your bitcoins out of the altcoins immediately without needing to spend any time or any additional cost. and you can put them into the next pumping coin right away.
139  Economy / Speculation / Re: THE FOMO! on: April 03, 2019, 08:06:21 AM
i expect a more slow rise from now on compared to big jumps and lots of FOMO buys and it sounds more logical to me too because we are getting out of a big and long bear market that has left the market damaged and the investors confidence in ruins specially with the latest drop which was unrealistic and scared people off.
also last time we were in the same situation, the rise had a spike and then it was mostly slower rises instead of spike-y rises.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkit Update on: April 03, 2019, 07:35:51 AM
Whoever is thinking that Bakkt will help bitcoin economy is not correct. Bakkt is just trying to ride on popularity wave of BTC.
Why a bitcoin user will like to submit him/herself to more regulation and under more control of agency?
It is just a false speculation that bakkt will help BTC.

i was thinking the same thing too although i think Bakkt is going to be effective a little for adoption because after all it is a positive news and can eliminate lots of FUD about bitcoin such as those where banks call it "ponzi".

but in the end this is another centralized company trying to make money from offering services that don't have much of a risk for themselves but can have a lot of risk for their users. and they don't get involved with bitcoin directly either as it is Futures contracts,...
