1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a point in having 1 NEO, 1 LTC... on: March 23, 2018, 10:42:19 AM
So I can only invest small and have put some funds in some cheaper coins. Then there are these more expencive ones. Is there a point of owning 1 or 2 of each or is there just no chance to make any significant profit that way? Sorry if this is a really stupid question, I'm a noob.

there are no stupid questions when you are learning.

whether this is good or not depends on your strategy in my opinion. if you want to make profit from altcoins (which seems to be the case here) then this strategy that you are using is not the best one.
what you should do is to invest in a coin (any coin) that is about to have a big rise. invest all your trading funds (invest what you can afford to lose) and then dump it when it is pumped to get your money + its profit out. then move on to another coin that is about to rise and do the same with the money or money+profit that you gained.

this is the way to increase your wealth not by holding on to 1, 2 altcoins.
1082  Economy / Speculation / Re: Long or Short since Bitcoin reached 8800 again? on: March 23, 2018, 10:29:26 AM
every time you think the rise is going to start and go above the resistance it stops and falls down. and every time you think this is the big drop which will last and go lower, it resists and goes back up!
i am going to say it now, we have to get comfortable with this sideways market because it seems like it is going to last a while. and that means we will see same prices over and over.
1083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin backed down on: March 23, 2018, 10:20:36 AM
you can believe whatever you want to believe, nobody has the right to force you to change what you believe in. if you think bitcoin will die then stick to that. and if we think bitcoin will grow and have a much bigger future than you can even imagine, then we stick to that belief of ours.
in a couple of years it will be clear which one of us were right and which one was wrong and we will live with the decision we made today, just like we are living with the decision we made back in 2009, 2010,... to not get involved with bitcoin sooner.
1084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: March 23, 2018, 10:12:15 AM
when someone is blind, it doesn't matter how many lights you turn on they will not see anything. and if you go check the post history of the starter of this topic you can see that he is of the worst kind of blind because he has eyes but he chose to put his head in the sand and make himself blind.
1085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum could be the next Bitcoin by its price? on: March 23, 2018, 10:04:21 AM
As we see the ethereum price is getting low and low every day. It was same thing happen with the Bitcoin in the past then it has reached where it is right now. Will we see the ethereum competing with bitcoin in the coming one year?
some people have the opinion that ethereum is one of the candidates as bitcoin competition, but I think ethereum will not be able to compete with bitcoin in price, especially in one year. because now bitcoin is still number one and has a price of 10x from ethereum even more I think the difference is very far away.

it is all about the differences!
bitcoin is a currency while ETH is not
bitcoin is being used in a lot of applications while ETH is only used by ICOs to raise funds
bitcoin is adopted by merchants and speculators but ETH is only used by speculators to make profit
bitcoin has a limited supply but ETH is limitless (supply and demand law)
bitcoin is decentralized while ETH is not
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible that ethereum will be in rank #1? on: March 22, 2018, 08:43:41 AM
everyone is dumping ethereum these days because they are scared of its future. as you said yourself the price of it has gone up only because of ICOs and now that ICOs are losing popularity and are getting banned everywhere there won't be much rise in ETH price either.

and the pump of it becomes harder and harder while bitcoin continues to rise. so unless ETH decides to release 100 million new coins out of thin air i don't see any way for them to go up in market capitalization.
1087  Economy / Speculation / Re: POLL: Where are we now? on: March 22, 2018, 08:34:15 AM
After voting, I've seen a lot of votes for C.
So, people are still optimistic that bitcoin's price will reach higher heights sometime within this next few months, eh.

people are always optimistic about bitcoin price but also whenever you ask a silly question you get silly answers Cheesy

i say we are not in any of these points. things are going to be different this time. we are after a big rise and the follow up big dump so now things are going to be calmer without any major rise or fall for some time. maybe similar to B but i think it will be more of an upward slope than just fixed horizontal line.
1088  Economy / Speculation / Re: Death Cross on: March 22, 2018, 08:26:17 AM
We are close to death cross now and if we don't bounce to 10k quickly we take this cross. Let's discuss how it can impact on bitcoin price. My forecast if we take it, we get bitcoin fall down to 3k at least within one big red candle. Any other opinion?

this is not a Sci Fi movie so that won't happen.
for all we know, we might continue seeing a slow creep up towards $10k within next month and testing it multiple times before breaking it and price may never go below $8500 ever again during this slow rise and resistance test!

my guess is that it will remain in this price level for a while then breaks $10k and heads to wards $11k in 2 days time without any stop.
1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Advertising on: March 22, 2018, 08:19:01 AM
the million dollar question is that who is going to pay for such advertisements?

as you may know bitcoin is decentralized and that means there is nobody who owns bitcoin and nobody got paid when bitcoin was created, there are no funds, ... only users or peers who are using it. maybe someone decides to pay out of his own pocket but in the end there is no one to advertise a decentralized currency.

don't confuse bitcoin with centralized altcoins like ETH, those centralized coins like ethereum have a centralized authority who got paid when the coin was created. they premined 72 million ETH and ran a huge ICO and got a shitload of money, they also have banks backing them. so this centralized power advertises the coin they are making money from, because are trying to pump it.
1090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No blockchain, No bitcoin on: March 22, 2018, 08:12:10 AM
if blockchain end?

this question doesn't even make sense for anyone to begin answering it!
blockchain is not something that ends, it is not a consumable! blockchain is simply the chain of blocks that are being put together to create the public ledger that we are using.
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO or GAS on: March 21, 2018, 02:45:15 PM
choose both in my opinion, there is nothing stopping you from doing so. both of them have good potential of rise and there is no possible way (at least as far as i know) to tell which one will have a bigger pump in the future!
so invest half and half, or you can buy more NEO because i think it looks like a better option since it will also give you GAS.
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do NOT fall for FUD on: March 21, 2018, 02:32:10 PM
you are posting this in an altcoin board so you must be talking about altcoins in which case you can't be more wrong. after these recent dumps a lot of the altcoins will never even recover and many of them will have bigger dumps and some will end up in the grave yard.
you can do some search about altcoins that have died in the past 8 years and see thousands of them that were the same as these alive coins and there were even more people who invested in them thinking they will recover but they never did and they are now bag holding something completely useless.

your whole topic is only true if you are talking about some legit projects like bitcoin. and we all know they are extremely rare to find in altcoin market.
1093  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll: Do you believe the MtGox trustee is saying the truth? on: March 21, 2018, 02:24:53 PM
since the news about him selling only came out recently and filled the internet (note that the dump was already near the end by that time), i am going to say there is no reason for him to lie about it. it is the truth. if the news came out in the beginning of the dump months ago then you could have doubt the legitimacy of it and could assume he is just moving coins around to scare the market for some reason because i can't see any gains for him to do so.
1094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who owns the most Bitcoins? on: March 21, 2018, 02:02:18 PM
there is no possible way of knowing that unless you can get EVERYONE to start reporting how much bitcoin they own and that simply isn't possible. people say Satoshi has the most but the fact is, that's just a guess because we don't know who has been mining bitcoin back then. maybe it was a 50 person team of developers calling themselves Satoshi who were also mining bitcoin so they each have 1/50 of the reward and also there were others mining who have some of the rewards....
1095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin worth risking your time and money? on: March 21, 2018, 01:56:59 PM
it depends on how much of your time and money you are investing in bitcoin! it is really that simple, you always invest what you can afford to lose based on the reward that you can get. it is a risk/reward relationship that you need to consider here. if you see it worth it, you invest more of your time and money and if not you invest less or nothing. that is up to you.

but whatever you choose you have to live with the consequences of it. for example i know about bitcoin back in 2012 but i never bought bitcoin at low prices like $50 and i am living with that mistake.
1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you agree with Ripple? on: March 20, 2018, 01:53:52 PM
i dislike any coin that is centralized and i hate it even more when they are centralized but pretend that they are not. and Ripple is the later!

in any case XRP is one the coins that can get lots of pumps and they are usually big pumps so i like it too only for the pumps and only for a short time not any more than that.
1097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Differences between XRP and Ripple on: March 20, 2018, 01:30:16 PM
Ripple is also referred to the technology that XRP is using. and XRP is the token or coin that is using this technology!

also i have to mention that i believe you are using 60% only because the current released supply of ripple is about 40 billion out of 100 billion (40% released and 60% remaining) but you are mistaken about saying they control that 60% they in fact control a lot more because they didn't give away those 40 billion, they just made them available. dumped some on top of each pump to become richer. who knows how much they are controlling now!
1098  Economy / Speculation / Re: The short-term uptrend remains intact, price will keep climbing. on: March 20, 2018, 01:22:18 PM
it seems like the yesterday's good news for bitcoin first hit the market and the big players so there was a bigger rise then and afterwards until today and probably a little longer the rest of the traders are hearing about it and seeing the market they choose to invest now and that is why the rise is happening right now.

unfortunately i don't see any bull signs so far but also i don't see any bear signs anymore either...
1099  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will The Price Of Bitcoin Increase Forever? on: March 20, 2018, 01:13:51 PM
As a holder of bitcoin I am always worried that bitcoin may not go down as I am much money in it. I mostly think that I should sell my bitcoin now and make my money but also fears to post the train of bitcoin.

if you think bitcoin price will drop then by all means sell your coins and save your investment. that is your responsibility to protect your money and always make the better choices no matter what others say.

but the real question is that do you really think bitcoin will drop or is it just because you read a bunch of FUD and now you are making an emotional decision?
1100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges to avoid on: March 19, 2018, 10:42:57 AM
i can confirm that Cryptopia has problems these days and if you can, it is best to avoid this exchange until they solve the issues. additionally C-cex have been having lots of problems for a very long time so it should be avoided at all costs.
but i don't know the others.

i would also like to add Bittrex to the list of exchanges that you should avoid. because they scammed a lot of their users simply by changing their rules over night. that proves they can do anything they want without giving a shit and do it if it has lots of money for them.
