241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are altcoins backed by? on: February 23, 2019, 09:56:03 AM
Now technology is still at the very beginning of its development and so far in the modern world, it is not so useful. but it develops to be such

actually the technology is pretty good and mature already and that is what cryptocurrencies are backed by. but the problem is that 90% of them are shitcoins not altcoins. which means they are worthless and their prices are only based on bubbles that they are in right now that needs bursting.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: No more new task or projects in bountyhunters.io on: February 23, 2019, 09:39:02 AM
the only "job" you have ever found was some alternative form of advertising for the scammers so that they could sell their useless token to more people and make more money while giving you peanuts in return for your hard work advertising for them.

so when ICOs died, all these silly jobs died with them. there is no reason for anybody to create a new one because people don't trust them anymore and their failure means the death of ICOs and the platforms that hosted them.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance DEX is decentralized or not? BNB token will go up or down? on: February 23, 2019, 09:30:39 AM
since they are enforcing KYC on nearly all of their users nowadays and also they are under a lot of pressure from the government and that will only increase over time, i am going to say with confidence that what they create is NOT going to be decentralized.

basically every time you see a "company" create something, it can not be decentralized and even if they call it that, it won't make it so.
244  Economy / Economics / Re: On value dilution on: February 23, 2019, 09:19:21 AM
no i don't think so.
i have seen cases where some shitcoin on top got dumped super hard and it could successfully bring bitcoin price down with itself too but they are not big enough to put a permanent dent in bitcoin price and pull it out of its ongoing rising course over the long run.
245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Plunge to $3,700 Expected, Say Traders on: February 23, 2019, 09:11:38 AM
there was no plunge, what i see is still the same $3920 on exchanges which means any price that you (or the article that was quoted) saw was the normal daily fluctuations and the price is still on the verge of a breakout above the big resistance at $4k which can then lead to the subsequent rises and "official" end of this accumulation phase.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: J.P. Morgan 2017 - 2019 on: February 23, 2019, 09:00:16 AM
Someone who is very controversial because the statement sometimes makes noise. he made a bad statement about bitcoin before but now he is actually making a new coin for payment in his company

I think he measure his statement and make profits from the impact of his statement. JP Morgan CEO is smart man and he or his company must be already buying a lot bitcoin in bear market. JP Morgan plan to launch JP Coin and i think its he see the potential of crypto market in the future
The crypto world offers such great potential in the future. With a market that is already very large at this time, it is very likely that there will be very convincing growth in the future. although according to information that JP coin will circulate limited in the company, but this is a good thing. The more people who believe in crypto, the brighter the future of crypto will be.

i don't really see how that is a good thing. if it was any other bank then i could have understood the goodness in it but for JPMorgan i can not. in case you have forgotten they have a history of attacking anything that they can not control and threatens their existence. that is why they are so afraid of bitcoin. so their coin is only going to mean their increased attacks against anything decentralized.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to replace fiat on: February 23, 2019, 08:54:16 AM
bitcoin is never going to replace fiat so don't wait for it to happen, you will be wasting your time waiting for no reason.
as for the government, and what you said about them. you seem to be forgetting the main fact that bitcoin and the technology that it introduced is meant to be used in a decentralized way which means no government involvement should ever be necessary for it to grow.
if you want otherwise then you didn't understand bitcoin!
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google keyboard with bitcoin symbol and ethereum on: February 20, 2019, 09:59:17 AM
Of course it is difficult to argue with Google but I think that the capitalization and growth of Ethereum says otherwise. Ethereum is in second place after Bitcoin and I think it has a great future. I did not find this post on Twitter, can you provide a link to the post ?) Thank You )

the only thing that having a big market capitalization shows is the fact that the altcoin with a huge market cap also has a gigantic supply which in case of ETH is true also it has a big premine which makes its real circulating supply and its real market cap a lot smaller.
in other words having a big market cap does not guarantee success.
249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why did Bitcoin hit $4,000? on: February 20, 2019, 09:46:07 AM
Upcoming ethereum hardfork is one of the reason why prices were increased particularly with ethereum more than 20% of growth in 72 hours which maybe sudden but its nothing new in the crypto field, actually we faced $3000 price changes on bitcoin prices in a day while we are in 2017 so don't look for the reasons just plan what you have to do with this price bump.

this market has always worked in reverse direction of what you are saying here. which means bitcoin price rises then value of altcoins because of bitcoin price rise against USD, goes up and starts up some FOMO buy. then the pumpers who become more active during these times pump the altcoins more. so we end up with a bigger price rise in these pumped altcoins.
that is why they always get dumped hard when bitcoin starts rallying instead of small rises.
250  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will not go above $4,000 on: February 20, 2019, 09:10:08 AM
ut nonetheless the price seems to be too high (and not too low)

just because the price "number" has 4 digits , it doesn't mean the price is too high. there are assets in the stock market that are worth more than $300,000 and nobody is saying the price of them is "too high".

you can only say it is too high if you can prove the intrinsic value of bitcoin is below the current price which you clearly can not.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Netflix to make a documentary about the altcoin side of crypto on: February 20, 2019, 09:03:07 AM
I just hope this documentary won't cause people to change their mind on Bitcoin. Though, it nice how the movie industry is creating awareness of cryptocurrency in their own part.
Netflix is huge and this means more bigger audience are been exposed to Bitcoin.

people who are changing their mind about bitcoin because of something they see on TV (or on netflix in this case) would also change their mind by seeing something random anywhere else as long as the advertisement bullshit is strong enough so documentary wouldn't change anything about that.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The big picture they've all been missing on: February 20, 2019, 08:54:18 AM
There's no crypto without Bitcoin
That is like saying their are no Cars without a Ford Model T.

no, actually this is like saying the rip off Chinese product that are copying legit brands like Apple's iPhone wouldn't exist without bitcoin. but obviously other products if are legit and good like Samsung will exist.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Google keyboard with bitcoin symbol and ethereum on: February 20, 2019, 08:49:10 AM
this was a funny find where Google twitter handle says they don't believe in legality or long term viability of the altcoins such as ETH

254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming Constantinople will not have negative security implications. on: February 18, 2019, 10:07:36 AM
this article is written intentionally in a way to be misinterpreted possibly because they want to help make an ETH pump happen since they know it is getting harder and harder to pump it.

what it is saying is simply about the fact that the developers claim there is no "security" issue with the changes that the fork is introducing. otherwise the fork itself is still highly risky and is introducing a lot of security issues.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 12 Best Cryptocurrencies for Long-Term Investment [2019 Edition] on: February 18, 2019, 09:57:02 AM
unfortunately none of the coins that were mentioned are good for "long term" investment. they are all mediocre at best and most of them won't even rise in the long run, instead they go down. the main problem they usually share is their huge supplies that is going to always be a preventing force for their long term rises and instead put a dumping pressure on their market forever.
256  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is currently in an uptrend reversal. on: February 18, 2019, 09:42:25 AM
I think this pump might be related to the ETH pump which is related to the upcoming fork in about 10 days.

I also think that this will be another case of buy the rumor and sell the news after or close to the fork.

Pretty much exactly what happened last time ETH was suppose to fork, huge run up and then... it was delayed and it caused the dump but it might of dumped anyways after the fork just like the BCH fork which created BAB and BSV.

could have been true if the rise started with ETH but it was the other way around like it always is meaning bitcoin started rising and its rise has been increasing the USD value of altcoins otherwise they are still staying pretty much the same in terms of price against BTC.

as for last time, the ETH fork pump was a disappointment because it was tiny compared to pumps that altcoins have during their fork hype! it didn't even last that long either. whales dumped it right away as it got a small pump.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa and Mastercard decided to increase their Fees. And there is nothing y can do on: February 18, 2019, 09:31:34 AM
At the moment it is free to own and use a credit card if you pay the bills on time. Soon a well established company will allow bitcoin or litecoin transactions on card to compete with visa

the whole point of bitcoin is that you no longer need a centralized company to take control of your money and then allow you to use your own money (or not if they decided to block you!). in other words bitcoin does not need a card.

with that said bitcoin debit cards are already a similar thing!
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where can I buy? on: February 18, 2019, 09:22:44 AM
it depends on what you want to buy these coins with. if you want to pay fiat then Kraken is probably better than other fiat oriented exchanges. but if you want to use bitcoin (which is the case with majority of users since they want to increase their bitcoin stash) then using altcoin-oriented exchanges such as Binance is better.

the most important thing to keep in mind is the risks of using these exchanges. do NOT trust any of them no matter which one and how big a name they have. they are all risky. google some "cryptocurrency exchange hacks" and see how many of them have been big and trusted but they got hacked or scammed their users.
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will Btcoin Get Back To $20k up ? on: February 18, 2019, 09:18:26 AM
$20k was a bubble so that price was unrealistic and should not be your point of reference. similarly the current price in $3k range is fake because of manipulation and dumps and that also should not be your point of reference.

look at the bigger picture. bitcoin has been rising on a very nice pattern for 10 years now. at this point price should be higher than this. so we can expect the rise but to reach $20k we need at least a year of rising. i'd say between $8k to $10k by the end of 2019 is reasonable.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: it's been a long time I have access mew on: February 16, 2019, 11:14:06 AM
Seems like most of the eth based decentralized services have recently improved their designs and user interfaces for example just have a look at etherscan and ethplorer as well they seem to have improved as well.

most of those sites (like the explorers) are doing these changes because they are in a competition and they want more traffic so that they can get better banner  ads and make more money.
so if they don't change their interfaces and remain bad, they will lose the race and become obsolete.
