Zeeman, I am an NVO investor. If you were active on their slack you would see that the NVO team takes care in aiding their investors, even those that did not follow the rules of their crowdsale. If you follow the SAFE forum from the beginning, you will see how some members the SAFE community treated the NVO team with ridicule and disrespect, and Imed lashed out on them. Sure, he should have had more self control and took a higher road, but he is a young developer and not their PR guy. NVO has an Escrow to handle their ICO funds. NVO has even taken less out than they are allowed to at this point in their development milestones. Regarding SAFE network - the NVO project initially planned to build on the SAFE network. Imed noticed that they probably would not be ready by the time NVO was, so he began to work on his own solution. It has been stated repeatedly that NVO will use the SAFE network when/if it is ever ready. Imed was originally to help with the validator, and NVO elected to make him a cofounder because of the extent he is going to help them. I do not not know, as well as you, if he will get paid for this or not. Perhaps in the beginning, when NVO thought the SAFE network would be used, Imed's role was smaller. But now that he has to come up with an alternative solution his role has increased and his pay should reflect that, shouldn't it? How are you to judge his qualifications? Who are you to say he is or is not qualified? Who are you to come to his channel and spread negativity, most of it biased and missing the entire truth? Anyone who wants to make a quality judgement on this project can feel free to go to the NVO slack channel and see how he and the NVO team have conducted themselves thus far. NVO will release a wallet by November 1st and the exchange is to be ready Q1 2018. They have not broken any promises, although the wallet has been pushed back a few weeks from the original release announcement due to Imed wanting to synch the coins with the exchange now instead of later. I am not affiliated with Imed or the NVO team other than sending them money during the ICO and later buying more NVO tokens. I have no reason to convince anyone of anything, as the only thing that influences me directly is the success or failure of NVO. But I have come to respect the NVO team through their interactions on the slack, and feel compelled to defend them from crap like this. Wow. it's a good project and I will consider to join this project when I can see the detailed plans for this coin.

The translation is only about the thread, yes it is 50$ in BTC. We won't use the XNO coins for the bounties, only Bitcoin, budgets have already been allocated.
I think this project has a simple concept, but can develop it as well as possible, because the idea is common but still very popular, Xenio applications will grow very quickly as other game market applications.
Effectively, we wanted to simplify the idea in order to make it easy to understand and use for the users, and get a rapid adoption from the different communities, even if the project itself have interesting features, and will have enven more interestinf features as a decentralized internet for example. The main objective is to deliver the message as simply as possible, and as clearly as possible, either for the blockchain users, gamers, and other platform users or cryptocurrency newbies. It will be as easy to use as Bitcoin, some explanation videos regarding mining, usage, will let people to easily adopt the platform and XNO. It is true that many gaming projects used the hype of Ethereum via the ERC20 tokens and smart contracts, however, it doesn't makes it that easy to use as you need ethereum in your account to use it, so depending on the project, it can be somewhat complicated to use it. While with Xenio, it will be fluid, quick, easy to use, a single coin for different usages, it will be easier to use the smart contracts of Xenio as they will be implemented directly into the platform, it is more logical to create a blockchain dedicated to gaming, and then release smart contracts around it. Which will provide a more adapted environment for gaming projects. |

First of all NVO isn't a vaporware, it is an ongoing project, its development is going well. About projects like Enjin, it is a mistake to compare Xenio and Enjin, it is an ERC20 used by a centralized company, Xenio is a fully decentralized project, with its own blockchain which is a marriage between proof of authority and delegated proof of stake, with smart contract capabilities. It is more comparable to Ethereum and Dash, as Xenio lets you create your own smart contracts Enjin could have used Xenio and be part of the network. The blockchain of Xenio is made exclusively for gaming as it incentivise the server providers (managers) and the gamers, which is not comparable, i invite you to read the white paper. Regarding the CTO, i am the founder and CTO of Xenio, i am also the co-founder and developer of NVO's validator. Feel free to ask more questions, but try to be more constructive.

It is not a question of coin, when you come to the bitcoin world, it is about decentralizing projects, and giving the ability to everyone to get access to the network easily. For example, Steam makes a lot of money, however, it depends of a centralized entity, from there, some guys created non-steam and it got a big attention, the problem is that non-steam is forbidden and you can get a lot of troubles with that. Looking closer to Xenio you will see that it is a legit non-steam open to everyone with better access capabilities, the most important is the community who will jon the project. Steam for example have around 10 million users connected simultaneously which is enormous, we want to do the same Xenio, why ? Hosting a game on steam is complicated, promotion, legal aspects, agreements, while on Xenio, it is easier, create a smart contract, integrate it with your game, get some servers, distribute it on the platform, and you are done, your game is launched. You don't even need to ask for the Xenio team except if you need some kind of support.

Like a decentralized Discord. To continue on the idea, Ethereum released its decentralized internet, you can locate the users for sure, you can modify swarm in order to make it annonymous. OP, if you were smarter, you would understand that Lauda's strengh is in its mode of operation, no one knows who it is.You will just find him on some telegram chans, bitcointalk, #bitcoin irc channel, hidden behind firewalls, hashed into a blockchain named "who is Lauda". Interesting idea, but will a one second blocktime not have problems with network spread? A lot of users might have to commit a significant amount of their bandwidth just to keep up with the chain. Did you consider that?
Yes we though about it, do not worry for the details, the github will be available before the crowdsale, you will be able to test it yourself. The blocktime is a target, we still need to run complete set of tests in order to determine the best blocktime. Actually it is set at 30 seconds as we wanted to use whisper for a messaging system, but it would overload the disks and the blockchain size, so now it is a P2P messaging, as we want to be an improved alternative to steam we had to implement it. This is the first staking phase, who will reward everyone, not only the XNO holders, it is made in order to enhance network and keep the peers connected, it is like an automated mini faucet.

Hello, the development is moving well, the thing is that Yani wanted to deliver the wallet, i refused, as i prefer to implement the coins into the DEX and the wall at the same time in order to avoid waste of time. As the wallet is a wrapper who works with the DEX. So when a coin is implemented into the wallet, i have to be implemented in the DEX, this way we keep a clean work, the wallet will be available soon.
For Safenet, we promised to wait for about 4 monts, there is still a little less then 3 months, if it is not ready we will go with our solution. This is what we promised to do.
Hey i like the design and im a really optimistic investor that helped many people on slack and allways tries to help like the coinpayments idea from me , But (im not sure if i understand you correctly) its a bit dissapointing for me(and many investors becaus they looked forward to it) that you want to launch the wallet with the validator, i can understand that at a developers points it is better to do it like this but we got told from the team that the wallet(so bitcoin holding and sending ) will be ready soon, and how can we trust the word of the team and what they are telling us when its get changed in the last minute? (Hope you can understand what i mean my english isnt the best). I still will support nvo but im really dissapointed now and just wanted to write it down . :/ There is a smal confusion here, the wallet will come soon, but the way i implement the coins into the wallet have to be done the same way it is on the DEX. To be clear, the wallet will come before the DEX, very soon, it is almost ready, just implementing more coins the same way i implement them on the DEX. |

Hello, the development is moving well, the thing is that Yani wanted to deliver the wallet, i refused, as i prefer to implement the coins into the DEX and the wall at the same time in order to avoid waste of time. As the wallet is a wrapper who works with the DEX. So when a coin is implemented into the wallet, i have to be implemented in the DEX, this way we keep a clean work, the wallet will be available soon. For Safenet, we promised to wait for about 4 monts, there is still a little less then 3 months, if it is not ready we will go with our solution. This is what we promised to do.
I am recruiting someone to make a small exchange on the new NVO website, NVST/BTC.
Is that a DEX? I'm sorry, but what if someone think this as NVO's strategy to collect more BTC from traders without meeting what have promised (A DEx) !! I believe when you open only NVST/BTC trade in NVO.io, mostly ICO holders will dump NVST within themselves. Many will loose their $. If you are starting NVST/BTC trade in NVO.io, why not list it in other exchanges as well (there are many who actively lists new coins. Ex: Liqui, Cryptopia, HitBTC, Binance are few) If NVO is equally interested in ICO investors and is confident to meet its promise, NVO should hold selling NVST until you release your DEX with few other coins to trade. It won't be a decentralized exchange, and there won't fees, also you shouldn't forget that some investors invested to trade the token, it was just a small bonus, nothing more. It is not really a priority, regarding cryptopia, they refused to list NVST because they haven implemented Counterparty, however, Coinpayments will add NVST to their platform, they are synchronising the blockchain. Regarding the price fluctuation, it is normal to get a dump, however, with the comming updates and the release of the wallet and DEX, the price will rise for sure.
I think that current NVO holders are quite happy to pick them up at low prices. I will be buying a bunch this weekend, once my funds arrive.
Is possible to buy this within counterwallet? Do we need to buy XCP first to be able to buy NVO or it can be done directly with BTC? buy xcp from rex, polo, bter ----) transfer to counterwallet -----) buy NVST with your XCP (remember to have some little btc on counterwallet) ----) profit I'd recommend staying away from Poloniex. Still waiting on a counterparty withdrawal I did 12+ hours ago. Usually my bitcoin withdrawals or even anything else I've done before has taken a normal 2-10 minutes. This is really strange. Also they withdrawal fee was horrendous. 0.2XCP for a withdrawal. I guess because it's based off of bitcoin transactions but still, why don't they just send it already!? I just want to load up on more NVST while it's cheap! It is not because of Poloniex, as you may know the recent BCH pump rised the mining profitability, which draws more miners, i had a talk with Yani about it and apparently BCH retargets the difficulty very often which risesminers interests. Check the Bitcoin hashrate graph, you will see the reccuring drops, from 8kPh/s to 3-4kPh/s. It is a lack of hashrate who causes the transactions delay and high fees.
Cool to see already people wanna be listed on the exchange . You dont have to ask NVO to list XBC you can list it later yourself due to plugin so the wallet/exchange have a plugin system where you yourself can write a plugin and voila your coin is listed just by yourself . Effectively, you will be able to list the coin yourself with the plugin system, we will provide guidance in that field.

Not completly true, around 3 weeks ago they wanted to give us a new website its true but they communicated in slack that they didnt like the design and that they first concentrate on wallet and than website. Wallet will be finished soon (i guess the real hard work is already done and now they are finetuning it) and so they started concentrating(hiring webdesigner or something dunno how they do it directly) on website, and told in slack that it will arrive coming week. But it looks like there is no dead line set for any of these things to achieve. Every time the answers will be like in two weeks or next month that's why many investors are not happy. I know these things are difficult but they should have a plan in mind and should clearly communicate to the investors. We communicate a lot with the investors, i am here on bitcointalk, yani and ton on slack, sadly i am baned from safeforum. Regarding the website, it is not my first priority as the investors haven't invested into a nicely designed website, they invested on a multi wallet with a DEX.
