The way i see it, world cricket going through some phase of average batting from every single team but not bowling.
If you look at the modern day batsman they are struggling if there is some movement from the pitch and to make Test matches interesting and to avoid draws the pitches are made that offers some assistance to the bowlers as well while the shorter format pitches are flat and so is the reason these batsman are able to make big runs. I expect New Zealand to take the first innings lead, but there is still no guarantee about it.
New Zealand just trail by 11 runs and they only lost 3 wickets, until and unless Pakistan bowlers produce some magical spells they will take a lead of around 150 to 200 runs. Williamson and Henry partnership changed the game for NZ else even they were struggling once when they lost 3d wicket at just 71. This partnership if plays the majority of the first session tomorrow then lead could well be above 250+ runs easily for NZ and this would mean that Pakistan chances reduces to win the test or even to draw if they play like first innings. For Pakistan to be back they will need quick wickets tomorrow and probably try to restrict the lead under 125 runs if possible else will be very difficult for them to save the match. |

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think each winner chose the equivalent of $ 200k in BTC in the previous rounds of the contest. It looks more profitable than real Lambo. For example, the last winner got 15.27 BTC, and now it's more than $500k. Not sure how many will go with Lambo if they happen to win it, like if I win I would prefer to take away the bitcoin as I would buy some other luxury car by myself and happy to save money rather than having Lambo and invest or buy something else with the remaining amount of left over money. Sri Lanka in a lot of trouble against South Africa. They are at 98/6, with Wiaan Mulder and Anrich Nortje having picked up three wickets each. Mulder is just 22 years old and if New Zealand or England can convince him to get a passport with them, then he is going to be such a good asset for them. I wasn't expecting much from Sri Lanka anyway.. so not much surprised.
BTW, is anyone going to argue, if I claim that New Zealand is having the best pace bowling lineup right now? Kyle Jamieson is playing his 6th test match, and so far he has picked up 30 wickets at an average of 14.33. And they have enough depth in their squad, with bowlers such as Neil Wagner, Tim Southee, Trent Boult, Lockie Ferguson and Matt Henry.
Poor form continues for SL, as in last test match as well they lost badly and the start itself of this test being not great for SL with getting all out in just 157. SA now only trail with just 79 runs and 9 wickets still in hand. So again, chances increases that if they can take lead of 250 as well then SA can win the test match with innings and some runs in this test match too. |

I just hope that the NSW government can get the virus outbreak under control because it could risk the fourth test match being delayed as the Queensland government have closed its borders to NSW. So I really don't understand why they even had to have the test match played in Sydney when it could of been played in Melbourne again. Anyway lets hope that all is safe for this upcoming test match and that we have a great match.
Well they look quite determine to host the test, may be they should go ahead with no spectators if health minister or experts are really concern about the spreader. They should be conducting the test match if not at this ground and if other venue is possible on last moment then should shift if the need be but taking a break/postponement would just break the jinx of the team as now they are highly motivated with the last win and would like to continue without any break . |

I've came across an article online written by a gambler whom was pointing out to himself as a professional gambler/bettor and it is clearly possible to be like him if you accept to take the risk. I'm not a gambler, even if i'm sometimes doing it for fun and not spending these profits on real life things, i might just buy gift cards with them or something like that but people in Las vegas for example made millions out of poker, football and dice betting which includes a huge risk pourcentage.

Mayank Agarwal has now made a total of 31 runs from 4 innings so far in this series.
The Indian team management is most focused on Mayank Agarwal in this series. Everyone thought that Agarwal might be the opener of India team in the future. But he has so far failed miserably. He has scored only 31 runs in 4 innings in 2 Test matches. So far he is not fully ready for the Indian national team. I think both Agarwal and Shaw are over hyped. They both were paired by the Indian management to open the batting but both have failed miserably and I do not think they will get another chance after this series. Shaw is just 21 and lacks the experience. So, for him it will take time especially when playing against the best side on their ground is never easy. Between Mayank and Shaw would be interesting to see if there would be any changes in 3rd test match like will anybody else be given chance or will stick to same winning combination Rahane has impressed and proved why he should be regular with the India team. And good comeback by India after being lost badly in 1st test match. |

Australia messed up big time, Steve Smith is struggling in this series which is a rare scene and the credit goes to the bowlers and when their batsman put the score on the board they were able to dismantle the Australian batting line up with ease as if both these teams are playing in different pitches.
Pat Cummins and Green in the crease and they still trail by 27 runs and India will win the match and level the series.
Steve Smith, without any doubt is the best Australian batsman and his lack of form has had a huge impact on the prospects of Australia. David Warner is absent from this series and combined with Smith's lack of form, Australia has struggled in the batting department. Everyone were expecting a 0-4 whitewash for the Indians. If they could win even one match, it is going to be huge. My expectation from this series after first test match was same as India losing 4-0 or might not register a win in this series. But blessing in disguise probably can say as Virat left the team for his personal reasons and Rahane was named captain who took charge and leading the way from the front. From here they are not far away to register their win and make 1-1 series, unless they goof up their 2nd innings batting. |

SA vs SL
2 days done and dusted. 700+ runs scored in 168 overs, almost 4.2 runs per over. Surprised to see that scorecard as you don't expect batsmen to dominate in such manner when playing in South African pitches, not sure what's happening. Are bowlers that bad or batsmen playing too good?
The pitch is quite batting friendly and as well spearhead in bowling is missing from both sides. SA just behind by 79 runs and if Du plessis makes a century then SL might just be in little trouble as SA may take some decent lead here and still there would be enough days left in match to get result and SL would surely looking to wrap up SA as early as possible . Not very frequently we all see like 700+ runs being scored in just first 2 days of match. |

Rahane is talk of the day and with good support from Gill and Jadeja, thing is not looking bad for India as was considering it with Virat out, not much experienced team. But, till now India is completely leading this test match and with 82 lead and 5 wickets in hand at end of 2nd day. Things are in control now and if they take lead of 175 as well, major dependency will then come on bowling as India will have to repeat the same performance which showed while blowing out OZ under 200 in first innings. If OZ go on to make a big score things may slip away from India.

Between Pakistan and NZ, at EOD NZ are 222/3 and Williamson is batting on 94. Taylor was fantastic but could not convert into century and was out at 70. AT one point they were 13/2 but then Taylor and Williamson partnership helped them to come out of that trouble.
In another test match between SL VS SA, SL batting first are going strong with 340/6. Chandimal was out at 85, De Silva is retired hurt on 79.
3 test matches starting on same day. Will be an exciting cricketing time ahead.

As expected, if OZ win toss, will bat first. Bumrah and Ashwin changed the course of game towards their direction and picked up important wickets very early in the innings which dint allowed them to build partnership. From India side, Pujara wicket tomorrow is crucial as he can hold on one end for entire day and if he can get good partner from other end then India might be able to take some lead in first innings else may get wrapped up early.

Another burden of lowest test score will be back of their mind and to come back strongly from the last test will be a real challenge for team. As far as result of the test match is concerned not expecting any change in that with OZ might lead with 2-0. Shane Warne has jumped in and commented that OZ will blow away India in this Boxing day test match. It would be interesting to see how India responds to it. The pressure depends upon the dressing room atmosphere, Kohli was leading the team when they registered the lowest score in their history and with Kohli gone the team management will be under pressure including the coaching staff and the players having nothing to loose and they have a really young team apart from a couple of players and they should play freely than to absorb the pressure and under perform .
Regarding the Shane Warne comment, Australian always perform well for the boxing day match and this will not be any different and India needs to show that in their performance and according to many experts the chances are slim. Even the odds makers have given Australia as a heavy favorite. It is a game of experience when you are playing abroad and that too with one of the best team in the world. So taking youngster and playing when ideally it should have being the experienced lot taking on the OZ as its not in India. If OZ win the toss, they may choose to bat in anticipation of making big score in first innings and giving India follow on and then winning it by innings and few runs. Would be interesting how well India can defend this match. |
