601  Economy / Economics / Re: How long this crisis will be? on: March 28, 2020, 08:21:47 AM
It would really take a while if you look at how things are unfolding especially how things seem to get worst for some countries. Italy has now overtaken over the rank as it has now recorded the country with the highest death.  Things are also not looking too good with the US and I fear it could get worst in the next month. Let's pray they find a remedy to this disease as soon as possible.

We all wish that this gets to end as soon as possible, and vaccine gets found quickly so that people can recover as well. Also the way it is getting spread in the world and US this days it is very scary and also another thing is that is it any specific country that has purposely spread this virus in order to hit the economy of the world and to reduce the population in the world is another question that arises now.
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: March 28, 2020, 07:53:57 AM
It's easy to find way to that, there's online gambling where they can gamble and still continue their addiction and how they live. There's always a way if you want to! And I think if the casinos is going to back again on their operation, there will be a lot of gamblers that will go there, maybe a small part of the gambling addict will be cure but, I am sure that, the majority will still be a addict and going to gamble there and continue their addiction.

For people who like to go to casinos and do not enjoy the online gambling would find it difficult to adjust to this because they are those people who would love to meet new people, enjoy the ambience and have a fun time. Those do not enjoy sitting at one people in alone and gamble online so it is going to be a difficult time but even this phase will pass out soon.
603  Economy / Economics / Re: India - Complete Country Lockdown - Is it on the Verge of Economic Crisis ? on: March 27, 2020, 04:13:07 PM
Lucky are the Indians they are only locked for 21 days. We're up for 3 months maybe extended to another 6 months. Only the Chinese are having a feast.

Which country do you belong to where 3 months of lock down has been declared? Also as far as I know country may say 21 days of lock down but considering the world is witnessing the pandemic to spread widely in this days the lock down could even be increased to 1 month or more depending upon how the situation now unveils in coming time. Also, hopefully everyone stays safe and it stops quickly.

604  Economy / Economics / Re: How long this crisis will be? on: March 27, 2020, 04:06:15 PM
With the the unemployment rate just went up to 3.3 million and the fed printing unlimited money and with the rate cuts going into the negatives then i say this is only the beginning of the end. Eventually the inevitable will happen after and a recession will take place, this might end even other fiat and goes default. This is really crazy times, i suggest to look for alternatives to store your money.

For me recessions already in because economy of few countries were already being slow and this impact of Coid 19 where many cities or countries are lock down eventually it has taken a economical hit. Now when everything will start functioning is in known and how much effect it will and has caused only coming time will tell and also huge losses of job will happen in this process so unemployment will just rise in many countries. This is not a good sign for 2020.

605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: March 27, 2020, 01:59:06 PM
Are you gambling everyday?
twice a week?
once in a never again?
if you gamble everyday, can you stop whenever you want or are you fully addicted?
would love to hear more on your habits here on the forum.

Before I do not play much but now mostly friday night. I just play a house gambling with my friends if we do not have office work on the next day. Most likely we play card games like Tongits and pusoy. Its kinda small betting of our coins. Sometimes, it is just for fun. Sample game rule : if you lose, co-players will paint a charcoal on your face. We do not go to physical casinos. Online casino ? I am not sure if they are familiar with it.

This is a real fun type punishment where you do not involve money and still enjoy the game and punishment as well. People who have being gambling occasionally or just to entertain them self within their limits is no issue as such only thing when they lack discipline or just play making money from the gambling this is where there are many consequences people may face form it.
606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: March 27, 2020, 01:54:20 PM
Almost all the sports have been postponed. There is no matches left for betting on sports. What are gamblers(sports) doing exactly now? I know it is very boring days. Locked down in home, no matches to gamble. Are you switching to other casino?
This situation bothers me very much, i took a break from betting for a while because all the sports are actually delayed. We just have to wait calmly, i bet at online casinos these days. There is almost no possibility of virus infection in online casinos:) I could not find another solution.

Situation is really bad and it is the world war type situation where only safety is to stay indoors and being quarantine for some time. This is also a time where try to focus on how far you come in your past few years vs what you had planned and what in future you need to do it. Also have just kept away from the gambling and as far I know hardly anything happening in the sports events now.

607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: March 25, 2020, 04:24:05 PM
Well, the correct answer for your question is both. Gambling can be fun or threat to yourself or to others and also fun for yourself and the others. Gambling can result in theif and also selling personal stuff just to have money for gambling. I'm sure you know what I mean. My answer is either a threat or fun that really depends on the person being a gambler.

exactly:
balance is the key.

remember that we can even die of drinking too much water.

so, even water could be in a balance between health and being a threat.

True that balance is the key but greed is what makes people go out of way. And since gambling involves money and people think it is very easy and quick way to make money from it this is where many gets addicted to it and in process of making huge money, they lose out a lot of money. Unless people who have self-control and can resist, they are in a good position to quit any time else it would be difficult for people to exit. So those who play for fun will always be fun for them else it can even become threat for people who just play for money.

608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 25, 2020, 04:17:59 PM
Exactly, 28 years ago on this day, March 25, Pakistan won their first ever One day International world Cup in 1992. It was a day to remember and a rejoice for the nation.  Smiley   Happy Memories.

The Pakistani team of 1992 was legendary. They were captained by their best ever captain (Imran Khan, who is now the Prime Minister of Pakistan). The Pakistani pace battery back then was probably the best at that time. They had bowlers such as Wasim Akram and Aaqib Javed. Even the batting lineup was very strong, including Inzamam-ul-Haq, Aamir Sohail, Javed Miandad, Rameez Raja and Moin Khan.

That was the time when Pakistan had really very good fast bowlers and who were one of the best in the world. As the years pass by once all this legendry retired then we dint had many who were there for a long time. Many came and gone for short duration but not like who had served the country for 10 years or so. Shoaib was one of them who was very quick and did well for his country.

609  Other / Off-topic / Re: Coronavirus Prediction Thread on: March 25, 2020, 10:43:20 AM
I would go with Q2 considering all the top experts in healthcare are working on finding the vaccine for this virus and definitely we would have the anti dote soon . So, once we have it this would be distributed in the entire world or country may prepare accordingly and people will get the medicine of it and will start recovering in this time frame. So, by Q2 end hopefully things would be sorted and all will be in the good heath again.
610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 25, 2020, 10:40:18 AM
This is really worst situation as developed countries fail to control this so developing countries like India and Pakistan have no enough resources to control this so this is case Most chances we will not able to have any good activity in next few months because watching on media numbers are increasing very quickly and lock down is going to increase for many weeks.

Well I have my hopes high coz of how well we have handled the situation. Considering the population we have I expected quite some large figures but we are doing great so far. So if this lockdown becomes successful then maybe we have chance of seeing some IPL this year.

But now I think there will be a lot of time even after lockdown being spent on discussions and stuff so it's likely that we could have a cancelled season.

From what I have heard, the rules being laid for the lockdown are extremely strict. No one can venture outside their own homes, without explicit permission from the authorities. And I don't think that they'll lift the lockdown completely after just 21 days. The restrictions may be eased in a phased manner. And for the IPL, the BCCI needs to get all the arrangements done, at least a week before the tournament. For example, they can't get the pitch ready in a day or two. It takes at least a week.

Yeah then in that case seems very hard to have IPL this season. Can't we have 2 matches a day and make the season a quick one?

Certainly, considering the population things are better and still under control and lockdown was necessary as well because 3rd stage as reported in other countries have really a ripple effect. So by far taking decisions have being quick and now it is upto people to continue and follow the same. But what I feel is that even after 21 days on a precautionary case few things may open but not 100% as would still give some time so that it does not happen again. So, in such case April would be over and now how much flexibility does BCCI would need to know as there would be upcoming series of different countries which would not allow the players to skip that and join IPL. I hope somehow, they can manage it but seems very difficult.

611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling cause you to have difficulty in sleeping as a gambler? on: March 24, 2020, 04:58:56 PM
Yeah I felt that, but I never again let myself get back to that point. It really feels like you want to play more to win back what you lost but I think this is a very bad habit that makes gamblers go broke.

Initially I also had faced difficultly because as was new and became greedy at times which eventually ended up in a loss and had some difficult time to move away from it. But when understood that it needs to be played for enjoyment and anything won consider it as a bonus thing became much better and simple after that and now it is more of a fun and enjoyment.
612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 24, 2020, 04:56:59 PM
I am not sure if you guys have read this news. Still thought of sharing it with everyone in case if you did not know.

A decision on IPL likely to be taken by the end of this month. Chances are it would not be delayed any further if the virus goes out of hand in India.

Unfortunately there has been a surge in the number case in India. So the chances of it getting cancelled this year is very high.

Source - https://www.indiatoday.in/sports/cricket/story/ipl-2020-delay-likely-to-be-extended-amid-rising-covid-19-cases-in-india-1658682-2020-03-23

With the government decision of locking down for next 21 days starting from tomorrow it seems that most likely that IPL may get cancelled as even after 21 days it will depends how the situation is and still would require some gap in order to juts take some precaution. So now this year we have to stay without IPL and quite heavy losses to many people and business associated with it.

613  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you prefer to buy bitcoin or do bitcoin mining? on: March 24, 2020, 12:02:13 PM
I'd like to speak at the present situation, it's much more preferable to buy Bitcoin now, it is 25 to 30% lower than last week price, Bitcoin mining is considered a thing of the past, not a good option it takes a lot of time knowledge and money to mine Bitcoin now when if you buy you can do whatever you are doing and just look at the price from time to time.

I prefer to buy and sell as it has a easy accessibility to your capital whenever you require it. Mining first require a huge cash inflow in order to buy equipment’s, setup the place or take it on rent etc which all required the huge capital. Also, levels keep on becoming difficult and ROI would be very long. In trading or investing you can make money if you invest in right coins at good time and sell it when you reach your goal.
614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything could be gambling on: March 24, 2020, 11:58:25 AM
Yes it would only depend on us if we would consider them as gambling.
Back when I was a kid my friends and I would guess the next commercial on T.V and make some bets or the ending of some movie.
Anything could be used for gambling if we want to.

For me anything that involves money especially where you guess and place bets becomes betting and then you are free to gamble on anything as far as your imagination can go. It could just be how many times in a day you sneeze to how many hours you can be quite etc. It all depends on a person on what they want to gamble on and put their money to place bets. Also, sure people would have place bets on more weird one's than this options.
615  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs. Investing. on: March 23, 2020, 03:57:22 PM
I do investing then holding. Trading isnt that good that much specially now the market falls down.

I trade first and then I try to invest How do I hold if I do not have enough capital This is why it will be most effective to invest and hold on after making a profit before trading. So if the price goes up we can make a lot of money.

For newcomer or investor it is better to first invest in good coins and make some money which could be capitalized to do trading. It is risky for nay one to trade and in crypto due to high volatility people can lose out their money quickly so unless one is sure or have that skill set to trade better to invest and make money and once people think they have gained some experience or have knowledge then can start trading as well.
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: March 23, 2020, 03:50:14 PM
Both coins could not trusted when bitcoin still lower price, what ever coin although on the top price during bitcoin never going on we can't trust with any coin because allow with bitcoin price to going down, when bitcoin up we can ever coin because will go on higher price.

I do trust both of coins considering ETH is the top coins in altcoins and BNB in recent years have being the best for the exchanges where people use it and due to which he demands of their coin have jumped up a lot. This is also a good coin after ETH. So would divide the money appropriately whenever I must buy coins so that have a variety and not concentrated on a single coin.
617  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus/Covid 19 Impact on World Economy Hit Bitcoin on: March 23, 2020, 11:28:25 AM
I don't think that it will affect bitcoin that much because these are digital currency we are talking about, the market will surely be affected but I hope that it will not cause a chain reaction that can cause an effect in cryptocurency industry.

Everything would be affected due to the global market crisis because people would have lost huge money in their stock market or their business would have slowed down. Now many would be requiring money and also panic mode is on in people so it could even effect the bitcoin and we have seen how it has fallen from 9k to 4k due to the panic time that COVID 19 has started effecting people across the world.
618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: March 23, 2020, 11:23:01 AM
im betting on a local horse race near at out place but then its now shutdown for some time because of the lockdown so what i did is that i find some alternative online   .

there are horse betting sites that dont use real horses like example on yobit ( yopony )  but i dont play on there because i heard many complaints on yobit before   .   there is no point of giving up if gambling is your life because there are now many versions that we can find online   .

This is the time where ideally those who are addicted or those who cannot stay away from gambling should try to refrain from gambling and utilize this opportunity to move away for their own benefit. Those who play for fun or to entertain that is fine rest those who had being on a losing streak or just cannot come out of it try to grab this lockdown as an opportunity to move away.

619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble right after coronavirus outbreaks? on: March 22, 2020, 08:57:40 AM
It would depend on my situation right after the corona virus outbreaks.
I wouldn't be so sure if I could gamble or not since there are so many things to pay(Bills and foods).

I would not do that beacuse it is very much our responsibility to stay safe and also avoid gathering for some time just on a precautionary measures . You do not know if it can return back or may have any ill effects due to this virus. So on a precautionary basis avoid going to such places .
620  Economy / Economics / Re: a disease or a virus or is there business in it? on: March 22, 2020, 08:54:25 AM
Not good, it is not a chance to become a businessman this time, because the world is suffering from the pandemic corona virus so that we need a UNITY to surpass this kind of problem as ONE and not individually. When we think first about our business the other people especially in the low class of community will not get the cure because of the high price. So that if we give that the cure is for anyone as for free, all people will get safe. I think if someone who will use the crisis as their business they will get punishment by the international government, because it is not the time that we make money, it the time that we need a unity.

Not sure if their is a business in it as it was being tested in a lab and not created by a business man . Also the reason could be more bigger than this business as news is coming that this is being spread purposely by a country in order to evicted super power and break the economy’s of the rest of world which were doing not that bad considering the world’s growth .
