521  Economy / Economics / Re: Collapse of crude oil prices on: April 22, 2020, 09:04:22 AM
Everyone now is asking how to buy some oil barrels lol.
Production >> demand, no place to store it as it is barely full, long term contracts are getting hard to be signed and the producers are paying you to do this. That's a nightmare for them!

This is the first time I am haring that prices have slip in negative and people are even not ready to buy because the storage is much more expensive than even buying this contract. So hardly demand for the future contracts in buying side as well. This is happening because of the several countries under lock down and thus there is not much consumption happening and as a result the storage capacity is almost full of US now who is the biggest exporter of all.

522  Economy / Economics / Re: returning to normal on: April 22, 2020, 07:36:12 AM
According to the research, the world health organization are not perfectly overcome the pandemic virus particularly in Italy and US except the country of China, so it is very close to clear that this lockdown has been extended throughout the world and it is probably that this coronavirus is also impacted the job to all people.

Recently WHO stated that worst is yet to come and this is a very horrifying thing if still the situation gets bad from here then the world will be a different in next year with less population, economy going back by couple of decades and chaos everywhere. Unemployment would be all time high, business would be filing for bankruptcy etc.

523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 22, 2020, 07:30:24 AM
for me that's a bad decision, why? you are not controlling your emotion, remember in gambling you should not make your emotion dictates the tempo in gambling, lets say you win you just got lucky, 90% of the time you'll loose, there are other ways to bet small but the risk is slim , i suggest you try other ways, because its too risky.
In gambling, emotions really ruined your game. Each time you deal with your bet and suddenly you use this kind of strategy then losing streak followed up with you it will surely bust your funds. Make sure to analyze and know how to deal with any adjustments to take. If you seen that your strategy is not working quit pushing and changed up or quit for the day to avoid losing big.

Gambling is not for everyone and for those who cannot control their emotions or does not have self-discipline it would be worst for this people once they start gambling as they would like to continue it for longer time and if they just want to make money then higher chances that they may end up losing lot of money along with some side effects like bad relationship, adverse effect on health etc. Doubling is another bad thing that could happen if you do it and lose that money also. People actually take loan to gamble which is the worst decision as per me.

524  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading strategy on: April 21, 2020, 10:26:53 AM
I've been trading for roughly 2 years now and I've been able to use some strategies that work quite well for me. I'm sharing my idea here for both new and experienced members.  Comments and Additional ideas would be appreciated

From your description, i have to assume you're a daily trader. Nice strategy you drafted out for yourself and I'm glad it's working fine for you but the mystery about trading is that this strategy can't work for many other people. I've been in this space for years but unfortunately, i not good with daily or short time trades as I've do end up burning my account any time i try it.

There is no harm for people to share their strategy, but one should not assume that the same strategy might work for them as well. It may or may not as everyone has different risk appetite and difference in strategy used. Some may be ready to stay invested for long term and other may not be ready for such long term. One should develop their own strategy which suits them the best.

525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This guy gambles and wins a total amount of £400,000 and quits while ahead. on: April 21, 2020, 10:22:56 AM
Definitely a fortune made by that person and was lucky enough to win twice in so short period of time. Not sure though if he will gamble or not but if he maintains discipline and uses this money rightly he could make more money in coming future by investing in right asset allocation during this times where many business opportunities exists at discounted rates. So other than gambling also could make money if he stays invested in good stocks or crypto coins.
526  Economy / Economics / Re: China will rule world as economy king after crisis end? on: April 20, 2020, 09:03:09 AM
If we compare China with the United States now, there are a lot of interesting things that can be noticed. Chinese economy came under tremendous stress, but there was no news of mass layoffs and economic collapse. But within the initial few weeks, millions have become unemployed in the United States and the economy is near breaking point. This just shows that which economy is more resilient.

One thing we can’t be sure about China is the news which they tell it. World knows that China media is controlled by government and only what they want us to show or say they will only telecast that since they are not a democratic country where media is free to show the reality. So even if there is a mass unemployment the government would not make it show just like how US is telling now that the death in Covid 2019 in China is more than that of US but they are not showing it.

527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling on: April 20, 2020, 08:59:01 AM
I gamble seldomly so in my opinion it's been so long that I haven't gamble again. The reason why I am not gambling all the time or twice a week or how many times you gamble within a certain time is I always think that losing money is easy and winning money is very hard that's why it's for fun and passing time when I gamble.

This is what gambling ideally should be for fun and to entertain yourself but then people think it is easy or shortcut way to make quick money and in this anticipation many have tried their luck and then many end up losing a lot of money and also get addicted to it and results into many adverse effect on the health. Some may also win it an becomes millionaire but may have also lost quite a lot before becoming millionaire.
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Up or Down, People Hodl on: April 19, 2020, 03:12:25 PM
Majority of cryptocurrency users are not traders. Most have only one knowledge of buying for the long term. I had such orientation when I came in new, my friends told me to buy Btc as much as I can and hodl, to an extent it did me no good because I got rekt which led to my unending hodl.

One should have couple of strategy and goals which could help you to make short term and long term profit as well. Definitely if you had purchase in high rise market you would end up on losing note more than making profits. So it is said that buy during dips and fear during high rise. But generally people do opposite and then regret later.

529  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s second corona wave can it crush it’s economy? on: April 19, 2020, 03:00:25 PM
The first wave made enough for crushing. They say already about the biggest descent of economy. The second will just kill the rest...

It has already impacted the world economy to great extent and also put the world in the recession. If second wave comes then probably the world would go back many years back and humans would be impacted the most because of it and it is more dangerous for the people existence.

530  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: April 19, 2020, 08:58:00 AM
Although it has not yet been proven that China made this virus, but I'm sure China is spreading this virus. Because the largest population of China
in the world, and spread all over the world. Just try to note that in almost every country there are Chinese people, this might be used by the Chinese
government to spread the virus. But this is also just a supposition, investigation is still needed to get strong evidence. That is certain indeed strange
of all countries affected by the virus, only the country of China that looks most ready to deal with the corona virus.

This could be true or not that time will tell but some news coming that suddenly reported 50% of more death in Wuhan city and something is still hidden there. Few reports are claiing that there could be millions of people would have died in this virus and China is not reporting it. Even the mobile operators say that there has being a huge drop in the open connections which look very suspicious as well.

531  Economy / Economics / Re: How long this crisis will be? on: April 19, 2020, 08:55:30 AM

If you look at the Chinese example, we can assume that the epidemic can be stopped by introducing strict restrictive measures.
Unfortunately, a number of countries introduced these measures relatively late, which in the end can lead to the most dire consequences.

Wearing a mask, social distancing and washing your hands after you got home is one of the best precautionary actions but we are dealing with an unknown and invisible enemy and worse of all there is such a thing as asymptomatic people who can infect people,  asymptomatic are those people who do not show any signs that they have Covid but they are infecting other people.

This is refer to as the biological war and might be spread purposely in order to let the world economy fall and also may be some country would want to kill their own population as it would be too much for them. But definitely this would have a lot of retaliation in coming time from countries where innocent people have lost their lives and people have to be lockdown and face huge difficulties in this uncertain time. We need to watch out in coming times as situation would be more tensed.

532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: April 19, 2020, 05:51:55 AM
keep playing online casino if you want to survive a corona infection...
from the news that I heard, MACAU has opened itself up again cmiiw, as long as there are those who do not hear the direction from the government to carry out independent isolation, then this virus will continue to exist.

The threat will always continue to exist till the time 100% of the virus is over form the world and where there are large crowds come it becomes riskier. So would not travel at this point of time or visit any such places where the risk rises. It may take some months now before things get back on track.
533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 19, 2020, 05:47:42 AM
Now this is again a problem: https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/cricket/news/covid-effect-icc-member-boards-running-serious-risk-of-financial-bankruptcy/articleshow/75207196.cms

Their investments are all stuck and all predict that this year there won't be any matches played. This business is so risky? No cricket for a year and they can go bankrupt?

Definitely not a good time for any industry other than pharma or the one's which are working currently. Rest everywhere it is going to have an adverse effect in the world. And more so for small people or board which dint had enough money would be suffering a lot and this articles covers about it. ICC would have to plan out and take care of such boards as well and get them back on the track.

534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: April 18, 2020, 03:17:26 PM
In a crowded place, noise is everywhere. Some are shouting, and some are laughing. During school days I'm the kind of person that can't concentrate reviewing when there are lot of people around me. Well I'm still the same person when it comes in playing online or offline games gambling or not. Loud sounds will just catch your attention so you will look to find that sound the you lose your concentration on that game.

This all depends upon person to person as some just cannot stay indoors and play online as they like to meet new people, enjoy the ambience and have good time in a social gathering sort of thing or be in the crowded place and other type of people would be those like less crowded or would like to live in isolation sort etc for them they would always prefer online only and cannot go in casinos or play their.
535  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip! on: April 18, 2020, 03:13:05 PM
I don't think buying every drop is a good strategy. because sometimes coins decrease in small amounts. it's better to wait until the coin drops by 10%. then just buy. investing or trading cryptocurrency is not easy because the price fluctuations are very high. we must learn a lot and also be good at speculation. and also must always observe the state of the crypto market whether we are in a down or up trend.

As long as you are buying a good coin that always fights back whether the market is in good or bad condition, you are still ok and good to go, everytime the market is down I always rely on the top coins in the market, because I always think long term, we are going to get over this pandemic and the market will be better more than ever.

Definitely one of the things that I follow is that on dips to start buying because when the good time comes or market rebounce it will be quick at times and would not give people an opportunity to time the market or buy at that time. This helps you to make money and also buy at discounted price.

536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance hits 71.2%, alts lagging behind on: April 18, 2020, 07:16:13 AM
Altcoin is trying to survive now, despite the high dominance of Bitcoin, I still see Altcoin still staying at the support level, and it looks strong, I'm sure altcoin this time will withstand Bitcoin when the dump occurs

If some one can pick a good altcoin and stay invested for some couple of years I am sure the rise would be manifold times and can make one a millionaire if invest with good amount. But research and luck will also play good role in helping you to become rich with altcoins and as future will belong to crypto the chances of good altcoin rising also increases.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 18, 2020, 06:56:07 AM
Another Bad decisions by ICC to abandon the Series between Pakistan Vs India Women qualifiers for the world cup and making India to qualify for Wonmen World cup and Pakistan disqualified. Another bias approach by ICC.

Source:-
India qualify for 2021 Women's World Cup after ICC splits points from unplayed Pakistan series

There should be different approach on such important games because splitting or DL system should not be working on such games. Same case goes for the important matches in world cup and have a reserve day just in case if rains comes or match could not be completed on that day due to some reason. This will give competitive chance to all teams.

538  Economy / Economics / Re: is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments? on: April 17, 2020, 05:17:20 PM
I do not think this is possible, because they already have financial power. In addition, if cryptocurrency were invented by governments, then it would not take 10 years to develop this topic.

Nothing is certain and we cannot predict who created it and for what purpose. But whoever created has revolutionize this space and digital payments has changed after the blockchain technology has come into picture. Things could be processed so faster and with almost no fees is the game changer. It has made so many people millionaires who had invested in right cousins and at right times.

539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest winning so far on: April 17, 2020, 05:13:25 PM
My biggest winning was around $3000 but few days later I have lost half of this amount due to the greediness. It was fun to not care about the rest of the funds after every bet but the lack of money management cost me $1500. So far, I am in the negative side of the ruler due to the quantity of lost amount over the winnings.

One major hindrance we human beings have is that of greediness. And gambling since involves money and all want to have more and more results into addictions, loss of money, etc. If people continue in this way it would lead to heavy losses as not everyone is going to make money and one would not be rich enough that they may have enough backup as well.

540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: April 17, 2020, 03:34:27 PM
we should also remember that more than 90% of day traders lose money on the long run
and regarding to gamblers.... I have no idea

In both gambling and trading, we know that some people can make money, but most people will lose their money. So whether we say gambling is like day trading or not, we agree that both can be the way for people who can use the knowledge to make money. And if people don't know anything about gambling or trading, they better not to do that more often because they will get the risk of losing the money.

I consider both are different because in gambling many games are part of you luck where you just press the button and you either win or lose it.  But in trading there are different things on which process may be depended and you need to know many things which can help you make money. Luck also plays vital role but not like you make 100% or you end up losing everything in trading. Gambling in many countries or religion is banned but not trading of legal things.
