341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling hiding, rules ignored. on: May 25, 2020, 05:44:23 AM
Each government has rules and guidelines when they implement a lockdown if they closed the casinos it will be open under strict guidelines, if the casinos are operating with only their old clients we can say that they are operating it illegally and it's either they are bribing the police department there or they do it secretly, there is connivance going on between gamblers and the casinos.

This could pose a serious threat to all not only to the owners of casinos as it could get seize or as per law the action would be taken, but also people playing out there and if any of them have a positive case it will spread to others as well leading to more getting infected due to it. Country anyways is suffering from this pandemic situation and in order to curb we all have to avoid such type of situation.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: May 24, 2020, 03:53:41 PM
What do you think the WazirX token will make x10?  Roll Eyes
I don't invest in Wazirx but people say that WazirX will reach 5x if Altcoin season comes,
I don't know if they're just bullshit or if the development of the project is good,

It will be good if this coin gives great returns because even I have known friends who had invested in this coin and believe this coin in coming time will be a good success story. Though not very much sure how much it can go far but if it will we will see many people making a huge money from this coin as well. Hope the market continues to rise and this coin also does well.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 alts under $0.10 that can go 100x on: May 24, 2020, 10:37:58 AM
Why people are finding still something new? It won´t work, these low cap coins will grow after Bitcoin shows enough strength for the next bull run.  Wink

Some people do believe that if they can find it very initially that out of the new coins listed or which are very cheap can rise in future so they buy it in some good qty can keep it. As its very less priced coins so in 100$ also they can buy good qty and if it even rises buy some folds, they make good money out of it and even if lost it is marginal amount. I have a friend who follows this strategy and works accordingly.
344  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-03-31] This Crisis Is Good For Bitcoin, But Beware of Recession on: May 24, 2020, 10:15:07 AM
@jossiel. It is a movie about some people who knew that there was a scam in the housing debt derivatives market. They were subprime loans labeled as stable loans. However, the market was pumping until it was unsustainable.

Similar to the coronavirus pandemic. Many people are losing jobs, economy is down, business profits down, however, stock market up? Is this sustainable?

The fear will begin when the lockdown starts to open up and business units starts to function. Then will the real situation come sin front when we know how many people are being removed, how the demand is falling or how much less productions is being done, how much cost of the stuff has increased, tourism is definitely taken the hit for next 1 year etc.

345  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC and Stock vs Oil price on: May 24, 2020, 04:52:41 AM
it depens on investor , and investor about that two are different i guess , so oil price will not affect bitcoin but covid - 19 will, i belive

Investors want the best returns for their money during any situation. And for those they even exit from one country and invest another even if they get 0.5% better rate. So, I think there would be investors who at this point may have or would be thinking to change their strategy and exit the oil and invest in crypto or some other investment.
346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Political Betting Around the World on: May 24, 2020, 04:45:29 AM
Now this one is better, I mean should be better than Sports Betting in my opinion. Because it not only let you bet your winning candidate, but it also give a thrill on what to expect will happen in the political landscape in your county for the next few years or decades. Why not we post our countries popular websites and platforms here so that everybody, especially the political aficionado in us will be able to visit and possibly bet. Unfortunately in our little corner of the world, I do not know why I cannot find anything about political betting when politics is a messy affair. Anyway hope you can share what you visit.

It depends on your choice, sports betting has got a different kind of thrill. Sports betting is available throught the year but political betting is only available before the elections which happens once in five years. No one is interested in betting about political decision and I have not seen any online gambling website offering betting on decision making. Freebitco is runnin US election betting, you can check their website.

One thing is that you will see various sports happening all days of the year some or other teams keeps playing. All depended upon the varied interested people have in the sports and accordingly they can bet as they are aware about the teams and the players as well. This gives them better chance of betting rightly as compared to that of politics. Politics happen at each level or it is difficult to judge that or even known I feel at times.

347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does Gambling really mean to you? on: May 23, 2020, 04:09:42 PM
Gambling. For me it is one way of having fun especially if I am bored or if I want to have bonding time with my cousins and friends. Some make this as their source of income especially if they are lucku while others are the same as mine. During this time, quarantine I find it as a source of income by not playing it, by promoting it instead.

A time for get together with friends at a place and chit chat and also to play some games for fun. Have a great time and also can have beverages in the casinos and give you flexibility to hang around with the great ambience and meet some new people and make new friends as well.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Underground Casinos Is it Happening? on: May 23, 2020, 04:07:17 PM
I really thinks it's possible that there is an underground casinos are now happening in different places because there are really stubborn people who will do anything, so they could continue their gambling hobby. That is why the COVID-19 cases is continuously increasing all over the world because they can't keep themselves stay at their own homes.

So they are rising it lot first the national safety and secondly if it is identified government is going to sealed them and other penalties as well unless they are told to open it. So is it worth taking so much risk for those owners who are doing it

349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH might go down below 80$ on: May 23, 2020, 11:38:55 AM
Nothing is impossible in the crypto space but at the moment, it will be scary if such should occur as it is been traded above $200 as at this moment
There is no reason for the ethereum price drop, and so substantial, up to $ 80. On the contrary, the introduction of Ethereum 2.0 improvements in this coin should raise its price in the near future. And the general situation on the cryptocurrency market is now quite good for the growth of the cryptocurrency.
Ethereum prices may not return to basics like before $ 80 because now it is a time of growth in the crypto market, now many things have happened and many even say that the release of 2.0 will happen in years but I can't determine when this will happen.

Yes, Ethereum fluctuation has been overcome and now there is a huge chance to increase the price of ETH. As you can see, we are very close to the release of 2.0 which the price of ETH has a huge chance to increase the price. I hope we won't see the price of ETH below 100$ again.

Hopefully not again and we are seeing it around 210$ per coin at present time and always looking for this coin as it is the best when it comes to altcoin and due to which also has high demand and price as well. Hope we see the upside of this coin in coming months and reach 250$ and upwards as post covid many players would be looking for alternate investment and crypto will be one of the best bet for them.

350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why risk management is so important ? on: May 23, 2020, 11:35:22 AM
Risk is everything in this world and in crypto talking about risk it is at a very high level. If the risk-reward ratio is not favourable, then trading or investing will make no sense as it will only end up losing the money and that too quickly as crypto is highly volatile. We need to measure our steps and ensure that we can mitigate risk as much as possible and take the corrective step in order to gain.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horseracing & Greyhounds covid19 shutdown on: May 23, 2020, 05:10:51 AM
Even though I'm not a fan of horseracing, but my close friends really like horseracing. So I watched horseracing several times. The main
reason I came to watch was not because I wanted to accompany my friend, but I also sometimes took part in horseracing betting. And it
was very fun for me, but because of this covid-19 disaster horseracing was affected. And some horseracing matches postponed like any
other sports. Hopefully the corona virus vaccine can be found soon, so that the spread of the corona virus can stop. After that all sports
including horseracing can run normally again.

It will take months or even a year before things will get back to normal, we will have a new normal now, and it's more on following what the medical experts are saying about keeping ourselves safe from infection, if they can follow those guidelines they can continue, there boxing events being held from other countries, so other sports can follow too.

One thing is sure that world will change its habits and the way we use to do things before this virus and after the virus is gone we will have a different pattern in ourself. Things would be done in little different way and more and more precautions every individual would have to take whenever their is a social gathering in order to safeguard our self. So till the time this could not be followed we might not see much games in action.
352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Crash game more risky ? on: May 23, 2020, 04:58:49 AM
If I can remember, I have tried crash games once in Rocket pot may be. I had spent near 1mBTC but I was not lucky and crashed my balance. I also think that it is too risky. Anyway, gambling is risky. You can also hit bigger piece of cake in crash game too.

I just avoid this knowing that chances of making is hardly than losing it. And playing for fun i prefer other games than this, though it all depends on person what is their choice and for what reason they are gambling it. Rightly said gambling itself is always risky of losing money if played just to make money from it.

353  Economy / Speculation / Re: Possible to Manipulate bitcoin price?? on: May 22, 2020, 05:39:05 PM
It applies to every market, as long as there are whales in a market there will always manipulation not only on Bitcoin but also on other coins, there was a time that a whales or group of whales manipulate the market, to crash the market, some small investors make profits from that, in my own opinion it's ok that the price crashes because that is the best time to always buy that you want to buy.

For whale’s thing may not be impossible though in btc you really need to have that big position to either buy/sell in order to move the market. Or a group of big intuitions or people must come together and do the trade likewise in order to move their ways. It may be done to an extent and thus in those scenarios many small investors fall in the public mode and create more selling pressure leading to more fall in market.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A new survey shows that UKs gambling addiction is getting worst day by day. on: May 22, 2020, 05:36:19 PM
This really hurts when you read what those people would be going through at this difficulty times. But also being said we all know that addition of anything is not good and when you addicted to gambling it really have many adverse effects of humans and their life and this is what is happening with them as well. Hope they can find a solution and able to quit this addiction as quick as possible.
355  Economy / Economics / Re: WHO encourages use of digital payments due to COVID19 on: May 22, 2020, 12:09:37 PM
Of course, it’s very logical to switch to digital payments, including any form of cashless payments, now, in the period of the rapid spread of coronavirus. In order to overcome the coronavirus, people need to go outside less, to touch paper money less, which can be carriers of this infection for a certain time. Cashless payment for goods and services in this case is a good way out. In particular, this will facilitate the use of a decentralized cryptocurrency, as well as stable coins.

Some of the countries will switch of digital currency after Covid situation as would try to make less contact with paper as much as possible. This would encourage them to switch to crypto and make use of them for the best possible reasons. Also, the demand of crypto will rise with this and as a result prices will also rise with increase in demand and consumption.
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Underground Casinos Is it Happening? on: May 22, 2020, 12:02:19 PM
Casinos can't keep up with the current situation, they must make a profit even at this pandemic, do you think it's possible that some gambling casinos are already into underground casinos, where they only allow their old and trusted clients to play in a place that they provided, could be a mansion or a secluded building, but of course, they will guaranty all the necessary preactions to make their venue safe for their clients.

There's also a possibility that some governments will allow it because some casinos are being run by the government or they have a big cut in the revenues.
Do you think it's happening right now or do you know of one in your city?
Its possible, lockdown cant stop the physical casinos for operating especially if these casinos are protected by one of a government official. Money is all for them so even going against the law, they will operate secretly to continue the flow of their business.

We dont know where but for sure it is existing especially in our country wherein there are many corrupt officials.

This is strange and never thought something like that could also be done. Though can understand that money is involved, and government does get taxes and other sources of income from the gambling, but this is going to be risky itself for the operators and for the public as well because as such no one knows who has the cases or not. They are not going to test it other than temperature and it requires a lot of courage at this point to go and gamble where there would be other people as well.

357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online gamblers think about their privacy and anonymity? on: May 22, 2020, 05:35:58 AM
Majorly people would like to stay anonymous and would not like to give their KYC details for various reasons they have it. It may differ from person to person and major reason is that they do not know how the KYC details could be misused by the sites if provided to them.
358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: May 22, 2020, 05:17:50 AM
I guess this differ to a person and their situation because some of them are bored with only gambling as a hobby and there are also merits to it. It's a one shot to becoming a millionaire. But for me i only play with small amount as i dont really play seriously, it's just my way to relieve stress and enjoy some challenges.

One thing that disturb me when people use gambling as a quickly rich making money opportunity is that chances of losing the money is much higher than making it. Also in order to earn money from it if they lose, they will keep playing till they win it and this may take much longer and at times people in this process becomes so much addict that they have many side effects of it.

359  Economy / Economics / Re: The unfortunate event that is Quarantine. on: May 21, 2020, 05:20:37 PM
That is why the government needs to step in.
We shouldn't rely too much on the government that we end up doing nothing for ourselves, we need to find ways to make sure that we can put food on the table, the government focuses on utilitarian policies and that is the reason that they are having a hard time to decide what to do to prevent tipping the scale that will lead to chaos. We people should learn to fend for ourselves at the time of crisis. This is the most overlooked problem by the masses because they are theone causing it and you know what they say, people are blind for their causes.

One thing is clear if govt can help us or in a way their helps reaches till the last level that is the best and should happen as well. But that is not possible when the population is large and dependent on it would be like no looking for other options. We will have to find for this solution ourselves and try to develop new skill which can help us to do some part time work or do online training to theirs and can help to get some extra return.
360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do we trade as anonymous on: May 21, 2020, 05:17:41 PM
I think the only way to trade anonymous is to use a descentralized exchange . If you trade high volume on centralised exchanges it could be possible to provide a KYC and also block/lose your funds . Take care

For high trades their would-be KYC required so does binance for that matter also require it. Only if you trade is limited or want to withdraw less amount you do not have to go with KYC. Also, if country has legally approved it and the exchange is trustworthy then one even go for KYC in such cases.
