441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 07, 2020, 09:34:01 AM
~snip~
If the T20 world cup will be moved next year how they are going to manage to schedule everything and what about the series that were scheduled, will they move those series or abandon everything and continue with the fixture.
Every match, series or any circus will be moved automatically. let's say cricketing world think that year 2020 never came in the first place.

----------

On a lighter note.... Read between the lines  Grin

I wish we could have a reboot button to start all over again and stop this shit virus from spreading. I am frustrated sitting inside my house for nearly 42 days now.

I have finished most of the Netflix and Prime series. If cricket could have been played I would have enjoyed the lockdown with out any frustration watching the IPL.

People who had welcomed 2020 on 31st Dec with large spending would be now looking back and thinking was it spend to see this day or so. 2020 has really being one of the forgetting years till now as it has made the world to standstill which has not happened till now for long. Also, it has killed millions of people all around the globe and not just due to positive cases but also some may die due to hunger, some may get heart attack if their businesses are being stuck and debt is rising etc. Such cases also account for this death whose numbers are not being accounted for.
442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some People Cannot Stop The Urge To Sports Betting And Gamble Even In Pandemic on: May 07, 2020, 09:30:05 AM
When you got free money just because of pandemic and you can afford to lose then there is nothing wrong with gambling on it but if people are gathering in a place which can cause the spread then that should be punished by the government.

It is not wrong to gamble as such and yes crowding a place definitely is not allowed at this time unless government has lifted the restrictions and free movement can take place. But just thinking from longer perspective this money could be so important for those people if they do not have enough money to survive some more months if lockdown does exists or businesses would anyways be impacted due to this and jobs may be losses by some people on account of this covid situation so this money will be little helpful for them only.

443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are u buying alts? on: May 06, 2020, 05:09:43 PM
of course now is a good time to buy Altcoin that is in the top 100, such as Ethereum, RVN, Waves, Ripple, etc.,
I predict after Halving there will be surprises for Altcoin, Hold and just look  Wink

There seems to be no sign yet, major coins only rise but the others remain bearish, I think it would take time and maybe it will not happen this year, unless Bitcoin will create a new ATH and I like to expect a bull run will happen just like in the past, for now, I can't go with the hype, it does not convince me yet.

Each person has a different opinion about the altcoin because people will always grab the coin which has huge potential when their prices drop in the market. So, we should always aim for the coin which has higher volumes and has active developments. It is good to choose potential coins always.

As one should not keep all eggs under one basked in the same way one should not be just holding btc. In order to diversify one should also hold some very good altcoins and not be depended on single coin. This way one can take leverage of market rise or fall or some particular coins doing well even in the fallen market will help you sail through during those difficult times.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to survive if you lose more than 80% of your Capital? on: May 06, 2020, 05:07:39 PM
if you have lost so much, there is no other option but to gamble, or it will take you a long time to get it back.
except that you know exactly when to buy and sell at the right time, otherwise it will worsen your balance.
or you can do a future trading, that give a big profit also risk too, because it very risky, you can lose all your funds in a minute or second.

Well one should be then ready to lose everything if someone is choosing to gamble . If they can sustain even if they lose remaining 20% in gambling then it is fine as that risk if turn positive can help in making some money else with remaining 20% one should be waiting for market to fall and buy only the top coins during dips and keep booing profits when market rebounces.
445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some People Cannot Stop The Urge To Sports Betting And Gamble Even In Pandemic on: May 06, 2020, 12:36:46 PM
In the Philippines some people who gets the money from the govrernment they use it to the gambling and other bad activites.
Instead of buying their daily needs they are using it to gambling even they gambl8ng inside their home or backyeard like tongits or other games cards I hope that bad activities will change it's not bad to play gamblig as long as you have extra money.

This is something their personal choice but yeah when there is a urgency in life one should be saving money and utilizing it properly and we know we cannot be sure in gambling of making money or getting back the money we play our bets. So in such situations one much be staying away from it and once we get surplus money can gamble back later on. This is where our self-discipline comes into picture.

446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: May 06, 2020, 12:34:24 PM
I don't see the point of doing it at all why would we keep track of our gambling expenses?
Would it be beneficial to us and how would it help us at all?
The only thing that we would get from doing it is head ache and mostly regrets because of the sum of all the money that we lost so I would never do it.

For people and for me it is as important as we keep a track of our bank accounts and the transactions we monitor it. For people who know value of money or has limited money would like t to manage the money in the best possible way and losing in gambling too much would mean that they are in deep trouble to live their life. This tracking of expenses or money won/lost help them know is it beneficial to either gamble after getting the results or is it worth too loose so much just in gambling. At times this will be an eye opener as well.

447  Economy / Speculation / Re: What inspired you to buy BTC? on: May 06, 2020, 08:05:58 AM
grow and get rich. Well, it is common for us to try various businesses, especially bitcoin. however, we are inspired to become very successful people using the internet, and bitcoin can be the way to it. Well, I have long known about crypto, especially bitcoin, and am still inspired to keep developing.

Something that strike me was the features I could see btc could be used in and could solve many of the problems which we used to face in sending and receiving money abroad etc. Also as things would be going digital in future so this will be playing a leading role and as its the kings of all coins this will remain favourite for many.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never Before Experience On Gambling...!!!! Stay Safe. on: May 06, 2020, 07:28:50 AM
You can continue to play gambling actually. But remember to let jer know first and explain to her that gambling is just temporary and you will not be drag into the game again. You just need to learn from your past mistakes.
Some girls will not understand why we play gambling because they think that gambling is not good for every people, especially to her boyfriend/husband/or brother. They will suggest us to leave gambling before its too late to realize because gambling is one activity that uses the money to enjoy the moment.

Learning from our past mistake will help us to realize what we already did so we can slowly change to better than before.

Sometimes it is also possible that people fail to understand why their girfriend is saying them to stop it or minimize it if that person is losing money or quite an addictive to gambling. Their would be case where she may have seen her friend, reltives how they have lost in gambling or how it has effceted their health over a period of time or some other experiences which she would like to prevent to happen same to their boyfriends.
449  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-04-08] Mining Bitcoin Just Became More Difficult by Almost 6% on: May 05, 2020, 05:16:19 PM
Unfortunately, today mining has become really difficult and unprofitable. But I still hope this isn't the end.

I think in last couple of years if we take a ratio compared to 2017 and to 2020 there would have being a significant drop as many miners who understood it is not real worth as it was before as already quit and moved to something else. Also now I do not think it is feasible as well for a individual person to even consider this option any further. If anyone is doing here and would like to share their experience will be great.

450  Economy / Economics / Re: The positive impact ~ on: May 05, 2020, 05:13:14 PM
I fully agree with the positive impacts on the economy caused by the COVID-19 disease outbreak. I see many new areas that will develop in the future as a result of this epidemic. For example, teaching online or online meetings through the Zoom or Google Meet applications. Besides, cryptocurrencies will be more used by people to buy goods online. This makes it very clear that Amazon's sales increased many times before the pandemic occurred.

Definitely thing will and have change over this course of time and will continue to evolve for better only. Many things will now become digital and home will become the new office for some people. Commercials may take a hit in such scenario as now companies will try to save the cost by asking employee to wfh. many online courses or teachers would be required to teach to students and computer literacy rate will shoot as still many people in few countries are unaware on how to operate it.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Coronavirus never happened on: May 05, 2020, 02:32:06 PM
I think bitcoin has still a bigger price for the market than gold/silver even if coronavirus is still wide-spread in the world . After coronavirus I bet the price of every stock will be pumped hard

Market may fall as things may not be as smooth after opening because their could be quite a few other problems like demand, workers, cost of raw materials rising leading to rise in prices. Also, people may lose job and switch back to saving mode etc all this factor will not create much demand and stocks of such companies will fall back. Crypto may remain or continue to rise if investors turn money from stock to Crypto in coming days.
452  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH after halving? on: May 05, 2020, 02:27:19 PM
As you can see the price of bitcoin is already increasing while we are in pandemic so possible bitcoin could hit $10,000 after the halving.

The price is really not swinging much though we had send some rise lately in btc and this would happen considering halving in coming time. Hopefully the price continues to rise upwards slowly and steadily so that the fall does be the major one and this could help btc be in a certain range. Hoping the price to rebound to 10k levels in coming time.
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 05, 2020, 09:37:11 AM
Agree with you, it's a gamble because some people does not have symptoms but they are already infected with the virus.
The fact that the Philippines lacks medical equipment to determine if a certain person is covid free or not immediately, that would put our country at big risk.
So yeah, continuing the PBA 2020 season would be a big problem if the situation of the coronavirus pandemic in our country is still at high level. How about, the big risk after the ECQ would be lifted at 15th of May. It occurs that those 20 year old above are now allowed to go outside. That's scary.

The things would not be settled till the time we have red zones in our areas or in the country. Because somehow if those travel outside or anywhere without they knowing they are infected could create further more positive patients and this way the spread will continue to rise in future till the time we have vaccines available for the same.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some casino gambling tips. on: May 05, 2020, 09:33:56 AM
Those gambling tips that was given is really helpful, especially where we need to limit our budget because as a gambler we can't really tell when we should need to stop playing, even we already experience a lot of losses and wins. So we should only bring the exact amount of money that we only need to gamble for us to control ourselves and leave if we already lose that amount of money.

A simple rule which I followed is that you should always have a budget as you earn X amount and only can spend a certain percentage of X so keep that aside for the gambling. Once that amount is lost ten you cannot play further and if you win it then can play further or quit whatever you would like to wish. This has helped me a lot to stay away from getting carried away.

455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: May 04, 2020, 04:57:58 PM
for me being a gambler is not a bad reputation and should not be for anyone else if it is not an addiction, indeed I am proud to be a decent player...

Online gambling is a perfect place for all such people who consider that their reputation should not be hurt while playing gambling. Online gambling provide us with anonymous gambling and hence no one who is who and your reputation is never at stake. This is another big reason why online gambling is become more popular over the traditional physical gambling.

People may have shifted from casinos to online gambling for those who consider it that reputation may hurt if people will see them or other will know about it. I guess in some religion it is banned so those people may be avoiding it going to casinos. Also, some of others who had lost of money and promised they will not return to casinos and still have to gamble would be also doing it online.
456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: May 04, 2020, 02:59:32 PM
Any one has got any confirmed news that what are casinos doing in such situations, like are they giving the salaries to their employees even during lockdown or they decided not to be give, or are they partially giving them or what is the situation with such employees who had being surviving their families on this salary only? Hope things smoother quickly as possible.

In our country, a friend of mine who is actually an employee in a casino, he was given their full payment even without working ever since the beginning of this lockdown. They were also given their advance payment called 13th month pay, it is a holiday bonus and the casino expanded their help and give their employees a supply of groceries.

That is great news. At least, we know that the casino in your country can support their workers by giving the payment to them so they can use that money to buy their daily needs. I am sure that the workers will be happy because besides of that payment, they can also get a holiday bonus. That is one sample of the casino that cares to their workers because not all of the casino can do the same thing as that casino.

This is true and hopefully if majority also does like this it will be a very good thing. Also wondering what government could pass on the benefits to the casinos owners so that the loses they would have suffered during their shutdown and making payment to employees can be reimbursed sort of for the casinos who does not make good profits or not that cash rich.
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 04, 2020, 11:30:20 AM
We still have plenty of time, we can still remain positive although the rate is still increasing now. PBA provides entertainment for the Filipino people who loves basketball but them cancelling the season is due to a big valid reason, we will accept if they'll do. Total cases in the Philippines is close to 10,000.. everyday there's an increase, only quarantine would be the solution for now.

For many this type of events when get cancelled is heart-breaking as people who are fan or love for this game and passionate about it waits for this event. Unfortunately, Covid 2019 has just being a nightmare which has broken the hopes that this event could still be held due to various reasons. Though we still hope that vaccine if can be available soon things may turn around quickly.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy? on: May 04, 2020, 11:18:26 AM
I think that you can buy and sell at any time, the main thing is experience Tongue

What time you enter the market and when do you exit is what matters the most. Though timing the market is not a good idea but if one can be on right side of the trade like buying and selling at higher price is what everyone is looking at and if can be done is what matters at the end of the day. Though one should set their own gaols and if price reaches at that mark then should exit it in short term unless bought for longer view.

460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Mayor Wants to Re-open Casinos. Thoughts? on: May 04, 2020, 07:38:14 AM
Given that the peak of the epidemic is already behind, I think this is a reasonable solution. It is worth a try. In the end, if there are any problems, then this solution can be undone. I think the business should start to work - with enhanced security measures, of course. Sooner or later it will have to be done. We must learn to work in new conditions.

Surely it has to be done but only thing it should not be done when the situations is bad or cases or on rise still in those areas. If those belong to green zone, then yes can be done or even if it falls in orange zone then with social distancing and only certain number of people at a time in casinos can be allowed. But hopefully the protocol is being followed else if things get worst then it would damage it further.
