Comraing to the SL Vs Pak match, Srilankans really surprised me considering at one stage they were trail by 100+ plus runs losing 5 wickets and then managed to make a lead of 80 runs. Currently, Pak are trail only by 23 runs without losing any wickets, so if they could manage a lead over 300 runs, I guess they'll be able to win this game.
I guess Pak team will not be able to claim 300+ runs as lead unless someone who hit 150+ or something near because when their middle order tested so many times they failed to do that,SL has pretty good bowling compared to Pak only good thing for Pak will be SL is the one who has to play last innings which might start spinning more and give too many wickets in no time.

Pakistan has made 133 for no loss and they are leading now by 53 runs which is a good thing . This means that their is a high chance of Pakistan putting a score of 300+ runs and chasing for SL might not be that easy unless SL can get Pakistan all out quickly .
1042  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: December 20, 2019, 03:39:08 PM
I hate with holding when trading or investing because holding is bad way to get much lost and we have waiting more than one year for getting back our money and get profit, I think best way for cut loss because we can recovery with how much loss before and get profit with investing in other altcoin, I don't have option for holding altcoin in long time.

The real money is made in holding this is what I have understood from billionaires. yes if you are a short term investor or trader then selling quickly is fine, but if you know already market is at low and in future price will make a comeback then holding is the key as btc coins can rise quickly which we have seen also.

1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you learn as a gambler? on: December 20, 2019, 01:19:23 PM
As a gambler, we shouldn't be addicted to it because in most cases we will lose money continuously. While gambling we should always gamble on the timely manner because if we continuously gamble definitely we are going to lose money. Gambling itself indicates there is no word for guarantee while investing your money.

Experience is the best teacher and also learning from other experience has made me learnt that gambling consider it for entertainment and not as a regular job where you want to just earn money. Play to enjoy and not to only make money and if you win be more than happy as it is bonus. This will only make you happy and not greedy.

1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 20, 2019, 01:15:04 PM
SL would be happy after losing quick 5 wickets and still manage to reach 271 would give them confidence that even tail enders could contribute. Pakistan started well in their second innings 57/0 and Pakistan now only trail by 23 runs and 10 wickets in hand. IF they can make 300 runs then SL will find it tough chasing in fourth innings.
1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: December 20, 2019, 05:44:19 AM
Some people are losing $100 daily or $200 a week or $500 a week how about you
Have you counted or estimate all your losses and thought what all your losses could you buy, do you sometimes stop and think on all of this.
I'm not a big gambler but I estimate I could already buy a good class mountain bike with all my losses, how about you?

After a big loss that gave me a set back an year ago, since then I started counting my losses , my wins and even control my budget. I always set a budget before joining session and also have weekly budget dedicated to gambling. I also make sure not to exceed the budget , sometimes I do to get leverage but that is controlled too.

This is what I think ideally people should be doing it as many people are budget constraint and this is a good thing to note all the wins and losses and this also gives an estimate to people that how much losses if any incurred in gambling itself. Also have a budget for gambling as it can lured anyone, and people can go after it long way and also losing lot of money if people are not in control.

If Pakistani team is a young new team, what about the Srilanka ? They are also a new team but they are playing better cricket than the home team.
For the last few series Pakistani are playing the worse cricket and i also do not see any hope for improvement. Maybe they need a break from International cricket.
That is what i was telling, Sri Lanka is also having a young team but they have established players in the team who can guide the young players but i cannot find a mentor who could guide the Pakistan players, Pakistan is struggling because they are not good enough to guide the young players, if you are forcing the young players to face the best bowling line up and then face them and play according to their mind set not every player can play that.

Pakistan is making a comeback in the match and they have clinched 5 wickets of SL team for just score of 80. SL still trail by 111 runs and this means that quite possible that Pakistan can take a lead in first innings. Match is now more balanced and seems the result will be out in 4 days itself.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Double Checking while playing Roulette? on: December 19, 2019, 11:57:14 AM
This is a common mistake when gambling. There was an instance when I had about almost $400 worth of tokens in a certain mobile gambling app and I accidentally pressed two additional zeros on my bet while catching up with the round timer. I lost a huge chunk on my fund, which made me furious and ended up losing all my money.

This really hurts because it is like losing free money. You cannot do anything other than getting it right at first place . At times you realise that you made a mistake but till than the time is over and you cannot undo it and you know you have made a wrong bet and will end up losing the money .
1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 19, 2019, 11:51:46 AM
SL started well their innings and are 37/1 trailing by another 154 runs . If SL can take a lead of 100+ atleast in first innings this will be a real booster for them as they would have to bat 4th and that much less runs they will have to make .
1049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: December 19, 2019, 05:14:03 AM
A person should never have to think about this decision, unless they are estranged from their family or something. Succumbing to addiction is something nobody should ever do as it will just make your life worse than it already is.

Gambling or say money is such a thing that people forget the relationships in front of money and this I have seen it practically also . Only a self disciplined or say who have a good control can resist from such addiction else people are prone to it .
1050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 19, 2019, 05:11:30 AM
That was a completely one sided match. I knew this was to happens after I watched the first innings, where Indian bats mend dominated the game from the starting. 1-1 each, the third match will be crucial and existing, both the team will be playing with a different strategy. I do not forsee any changes in the Indian line up. What do you guys think?

From two matches we know that it is not a bowlers pitch and only the game depend upon batsman more or less . If batting fails the match is lost and if batting gets clicked most likely math is won . India would my make any changes I think to this combination .
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 18, 2019, 04:32:17 PM
Kuldeep is the first Indian to take two hattrick in international cricket. This game just changed the series and now both are 1-1 which means making third more exciting and challenging . Rohit for his magnificent innings of 159 was awarded player of the match.
1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 18, 2019, 01:38:34 PM
Rahul and Rohit 227 runs partnership actually changed the total direction of the match itself since it was opening partnership this gave team India a good start and also chance to accelerate the scoreboard for the new comers . WI are struggling and have lost 3 wickets for 86.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: December 18, 2019, 09:46:25 AM
We all know that being an addicted gambler is a very tough spot in our life, but what if you need to decide what to choose, your addiction or your family? i.e., the given situation will be that you need to decide on the spot if you want to pursue your "career" in gambling or make a good simple life with your family? what will you choose?
Family is more important than anything else. Money is nothing if there is no Family, we earn money and we work hard because of our family, so it is pretty obvious that we choose family over gambling. Maybe this question is for those who are too much attached to gambling that can't control their mind playing gambling. Maybe it is hard for them to choose of the two.

This is so true that generally people work for family and give them priority . At times they will not buy anything for themself but will fulfill the other people needs and if anything left then they buy for oneself . But those who get addicted to gambling may find it difficult as it involves money and certain humans are greedy more than their family .
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 18, 2019, 09:34:39 AM
Ah well, India lost the toss and Batting first  Shocked. so far very slow start from Indian openers, Both Rohit and Rahul going with old tested technique of India "Keep your head down at start" no need to say both are eyeing on big inning because historically its batting paradise and India need at least 320 score if they want to win the game(Plus 10+15 runs for buffer) otherwise game looks tough for them.

This time India started well after losing the toss and Rahul has made half century and Rohit Sharma is batting at 46. India were 110 in 21 overs without a wicket. They will have to make 325+ in order to make this match interesting and win this one .

Virat Kohli & Co. will look to bounce back as they take on Windies in the 2nd ODI in Vizag today. Who do you think will WIN todays match?

The concern that India is facing is with Bowling department and if India manages to bowl well then they should win the match . Also expecting a change in a bowler compared to last ODI and batting line up may remain the same .
1056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 17, 2019, 01:19:19 PM
@Vishnu.Reang Of all the leagues you have mentioned, I haven't watched any leagues except for IPL and I haven't even heard of SCL and the T20 Global League. It hard to find time to watch all these leagues  Undecided

As only IPL have all the international players come together to play the  game everybody knows about it and I think only that country people might know other the leagues and people also may not have time to watch so many leagues and cricket happening around the globe .

OZ 296 runs win over NZ is really a big win and considering the way they have beaten them is really an achievement as they have shown all round performances in all department and definitely the favourite for 2nd test match too .

They should have enforced the follow on, as it was possible for them to win by one innings. The Australian captain decided against it, because one of the bowlers (Hazlewood) was injured. But even with that handicap, they managed to bowl out the Kiwis for less than 200 in both their innings. Anyway... now the boxing day test match is going to be an exciting one. New Zealand for sure will be looking for revenge.
But its Mission Impossible for New Zealand even they are looking for revenge Australia is very strong at home now they have some good batting and very good bowling which is giving them complete package tage they can sweep this series very easily New Zealand batting is also good but at home in oversease  matches usually they are average which is hurting them.

Yes it will be difficult for NZ to beat OZ in their country and also batsman and bowlers are in form so this would not be an easy ride for NZ to content OZ in modest score . Unless some player stands out it would be OZ for me in next match too .

I once told about the  Mzansi Super League here but no one look interested in that league and therefore we had no discussions about it. Although I was watching this  league actively but did not share anything here buz of lack of interest. I just want to inform you that today is the last day of the leqgue and the final is in progress at  Paarl between TS and PR.  AB de Villars is playing for TS and I hope they can win this one.

To put it honestly, nowadays too many franchise T20 leagues have been started and it is getting slightly repetitive with players such as Chris Gayle and Andre Russell appearing for 5-6 different franchises in a single year. We have the Pokhara Premier League (Nepal) and the Qatar T10 League ongoing now, apart from the Mzansi Super League. It is actually very tiring to keep track of all these leagues.

The chart is very helpful and really explains the thing itself that how many tournaments are being held and I think that each board has to decide which players should be send in what tournaments. Like all the first class cricket players could be made part of this tournaments which will give them good exposure .

Tomorrow is the 2nd ODI between India Vs WI which would be played at Vishkapatnam . It would be interested to see what changes team India does in the bowling line up considering the first match where India lost the match one sided .

Harsha raising very good and critical question but sadly there is no solution to this problem for at least next 5-10 years IMO. its hard to find next Sachin,Sehwag, Yuvraj,Raina.

The point raised by Harsha is really concerning India team beacuse it is valid point and BCCI would have have to work in this direction beacuse it can solve some of the problems of having good all rounders in the team in every match .
