What a welcome sight!
The Wall is full of haikus!
That must mean something...

Push-ups or coffee?
Young ones push, old geezers sip,
Coiners buy the dips.

Craig Wright on trial.
When will he ever give up?
Asperger's does that...

That's enough, Saylor!
Leave some corn for us, will you?
Yeah, right, I thought so...

Here's some Wall wisdom:
Alpacas ain't no llamas.
Both make great socks though.

First it was 1k,
Then it was page parity.
Soon, post parity!

Onwards and upwards.
AYH, ATH, moon.
Confirmed by proudhon!

#7wodigestsundayhaikus

I have to add, though:
Not all aspergers are cunts
only a few ones

Very true.

There are geniuses with Asperger's. I would even risk suggesting that a degree of autism could be a necessary condition for excellence.

Sadly, this is not the case for CSW...

Just noticed we hit 33000 pages.

Wow. Remember what a big deal it was to reach 1000 pages?

Or the "when page parity?" posts some years ago...

We've now ascended to the "when post parity?" level. Cool

My coins now reside on a teeny weeny piece of paper and some neurons in my brain. It feels odd, powerful, scary. I know they're there, but the inability to physically verify is affecting me. I need to buy a h/w wallet. What to buy? Maybe the Trezor Safe 3? Probably that.

BitBox is quite nice, if you peep it.

Will check it out, thx. I've grown fond of the Trezors over the years (the Model One was probably the only one in existence at the time), but I see now there are so many to choose. Got to be standardized, so I can recover my seed, etc., and open-source for obvious reasons.
125  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 10, 2024, 07:49:14 AM
Right. Sideways. Again...

Boring AF.

Come on, Bitcoin, do something!

OK, so I gave my nephew my Trezor (after wiping it clean) as a gift for becoming a coiner. Yay! He's bringing mushrooms next weekend. He says I'll like it. Cheesy

Alright. Got to run. Keep posting, brothers. I sense A{Y,T}H is around the corner.

Buy when you can, sell when you must, NYKNYC (my nephew got this!), HoDL, the usual stuff.

Haiku's block tonight...
Not much intrigue in The Wall.
But it's a Sunday!

Fuck-you status talk.
Hopium for low-coiners.
A tenth of a coin?

First they laughed at us.
Then they declared war on us.
Now they advertise?

Godzilla less one.
So much praise for this movie.
Added to watch queue.

What's this chart I see?
Optimal allocation?
Rat poison tastes sweet...

Iran on a map?
What did anyone expect?
They're right and they're wrong!

When feeling wounded,
It's so soothing to listen,
To Cohen's sweet voice.

So many posts, so little time... Wish I could reply/comment more...

[...]

A wise man once said:
One tenth of a coin's enough,
To set you up good.

That is pushing it.

I am not sure if I would go that far, but anyone who is starting their bitcoin journey may well take some time before he is able to even reach 1/10th of a coin, and so in that regard,  I have trouble understanding why it would be an amount that someone would be wanting to bet in the context of gentlemen rather than in the context of showing (or faking) how BIG your balls might be.

[...]

Yes, it does sound like pushing it.

0.1 BTC.
Set for life.

Can you imagine? Will there be a time when this teeny-weeny amount of coin could get one up to "fuck you" status? Let's see... 1 sat = $1 --> 0.1 BTC = $10,000,000. I know this may seem like a super-rare, super-optimistic, super-bullish, super-long-term scenario, but never say never. That's what I've learned throughout my journey in these here parts.

Regardless, I feel that those of us holding BTC in the double digits are already quite close to "fuck you" status (only a matter of 2-3 years to attain it). Those with 3-digit corn are already there, but, surely, this also depends on where they live and what their desires and life targets are... It's all subjective to a degree, but 3-digit corn is surely a safe "fuck you" status level currently, for the typical down-to-earth westerner not intending to go to excesses when it comes to LHB activities.

So, yes, the above mentioned Sunday haiku is, indeed, aiming far into the future, but is also taking into account that Bitcoin time does tend to run faster than our clocks, so there is a chance that "far" may not be so far after all.

Pavement or brick wall?
Coiner flies high in Dubai.
Have one for me, Dude!

Grayscale Bitcoin Trust,
Dumping a shitload of corn.
I just pity them!

So, price dropped a bit...
Chickens worry, coiners buy.
Welcome to Bitcoin!

Cheap enough to buy,
Yet, far too precious to sell.
Bitcoin 101.

What's cheap in one place,
And expensive somewhere else?
Potatoes and sex!

A wise man once said:
One tenth of a coin's enough,
To set you up good.

Price is picking up.
Halving's coming in three months.
We're all blessed, brothers!

Today's #Bitcoin sent to Coinbase by $GBTC/Grayscale comes out to be 18.3K $BTC or ~$740M worth.
https://twitter.com/DaanCrypto/status/1749438652390732048

Now they are down from 619 000BTC to 534 000BTC, which is 13.7%. Today's outflow is not counted in
https://bitcointreasuries.net/entities/50

This can be a poll question: when this outflow will stop: at 0BTC, 1-100BTC, etc. Or when it will stop - this week, next week or in, say, 10 weeks.

Pretty relentless, sustained selling. It has to end soon, surely?

We’re down from $49,000 to $39,700 since ETF approval today.

Fuck Grayscale.

Yup. That's a 20% drop. We are used to these, but still, after the pre-ETF euphoria, this feels odd to say the least. Not too worried about it, but it does feel like a let down if I'm honest. I even persuaded a friend to invest in a couple of coins pre-ETF... Losing $10k+ in 2 weeks is no fun for a Bitcoin noob.

Hopefully, the selling spree will end soon and UPpity will resume. Got to play Irish for a little while longer it seems... GTCTTWW.

♦️ Correction before halving (maybe to $30k-$35k)

♦️ A few months of consolidation during the summer

♦️ Bullish Q4 of 2024 and a new ATH of $70,000

♦️ $100k $BTC in Q1 of 2025

♦️ Full-blown altseason where alts will pump 100x-1000x

♦️ Some consolidation and correction in Q2 of 2025

♦️ In Q3 of 2025, the pump will resume, and BTC will hit $200k–$250k in Q4 of 2025.

[...]

Meriting this for the hopium, but predictions like this are more or less Crystal BallTM material IMHO. Regardless, 2024 & 2025 are indeed special, when compared to the previous cycles, due to the ETF approvals, combined with the incoming Halving. Choo-choos will honk many times in the coming 24 months.

Pretty good tweet I saw below. Obviously ignore the shitcoin references.

Bitcoin only.

@Ashcryptoreal
BITCOIN WILL HIT $250K IN 2025

From $250k high to capatulation dump below $100k in 2026.

Excellent trading opportunity.

It is reasonable to expect that wild swings like the one you describe could gradually be "tamed" by the ETF players + regulation, resulting in a slower, but more stable and organic growth, that closely resembles the current 50-, 100-, or even 200-WMA trendlines further into the future. This will be good for HoDLers, not so good for traders. Will see how things play out.

Reading WO's posts/reports about so much corn selling happening lately, it just dawned on me how strong the Bitcoin price has held so far. I consider the current dip as ant-sized, given the amount of selling. Not claiming to be an expert in such matters, this is just a long-time HoDLer's gut feeling.

Just imagine what will happen when the selling stops, big investors pour in, demand increases, and the buying craze begins... And all this happening in a Halving year!

The incoming pump will be stratospheric! 6 digits guaranteed, soonTM.

There was a small dip yesterday and today there is recovery cycle.
No matter what happens to price of Bitcoin, just HODL to have bigger piece of the cake.
6 digit is guaranteed, can't say this year or next.

I think the chances of 6-digit prices this year are significant, but there are no guarantees, hence the "soonTM" in my post above.

I expect mostly good things for this year and the next. Halving years are always fun.

AIs everywhere...
Be sure to count them knuckles,
Before you believe!

Do robots need teeth?
A Terminator sure does.
Clothes, boots and bikes too!

Was once a Christian.
Dated a Christian girl too.
Sweet looks, dirty mind...

Larry Fink et al.,
Hot and bothered about corn!
A sight for sore eyes...

So when "fuck you" come?
How many months will it take?
Time for a baby?

Wanna sell some corn?
Don't even think about it!
Read below, instead.

Friendly reminder.
Monday the 22nd.
You know what to do.

Don't worry about the price drop. Any seasoned HoDLer knows that this can happen.

Remember: Halving in 3 months -- ETFs approved -- Such economic processes often have long dead times.

Don't act like mindrust -- we all know better than this.

quick trip through early blockchain analytics, interesting read

Quote
Satoshi Nakamoto, the cryptocurrency’s mysterious and unidentifiable inventor, had stated in an email introducing Bitcoin that “participants can be anonymous.”
[...]
This is the story of the revelation in late 2013 that Bitcoin was, in fact, the opposite of untraceable—that its blockchain would actually allow researchers, tech companies, and law enforcement to trace and identify users with even more transparency than the existing financial system. That discovery would upend the world of cybercrime. Bitcoin tracing would, over the next few years, solve the mystery of the theft of a half-billion dollar stash of bitcoins from the world’s first crypto exchange, help enable the biggest dark-web drug market takedown in history

https://arstechnica.com/features/2024/01/how-a-27-year-old-busted-the-myth-of-bitcoins-anonymity/

Well, it's a public ledger, whatever the implications of that may be. If the endpoints are carefully handled, anonymity can be enhanced, but it's not automatic by design, you need to put an effort and be careful in order to prevent your identity from being leaked.

Yes.

I'm a former Christian, now atheist, of the agnostic variety, and I find the girl in the painting extremely beautiful. No makeup, natural looks, a little chubby, the epitome of femininity. Those painters of old knew exactly how to capture true feminine beauty. Contrast that image with the current flood of Instagram photos of silicone females with abnormally thick lips, super-sized breasts and exaggerated curves... I won't say "ugly", but I won't say "beautiful" either.

What kind of Christian were you? Catholic, protestant or ortodox?. You can read Chesterton once an atheist and ended up being a Catholic is quite a good lecture and is really rich to learn the religion from other views and not from the normal one. (i dont like fanatics in religion anyways)

Every holy book I've ever read (the Holy Bible, Book of Mormon, Quran, Talmud, cult texts, such as Scientology's, etc.) has made me so repulsed and disgusted by their teachings, that it is impossible for me to even consider accepting their contents as a description of the truth and of how the universe works. I have come to the conclusion that all religions are man-made and tap into the innate human need to belong to a social group and find answers to existential questions. Science is their enemy, as they are based on dogma, rather than scientific, repeatable, verifiable evidence. Science has progressed to a point that their dogmas can no longer satisfy the curious, logical, inquisitive, free mind that seeks irrefutable, fact-based answers. Religions use intuition, sentiment, and false analogies as "proof" of the existence of the divine, and many people, especially those of a lesser educational background, get trapped into them. This is especially true for those who are born into religions, where they are indoctrinated from birth to believe in them and fear the possibility of rejecting them.

The above is not exhaustive or well laid out, I just typed it as it came in my mind.

The message and art was appreciated and all but i think it would be better posted at The Off Topic Board.

Omitting the wall of biblical text would have been sufficient, though.
