Anybody here buying COL, ZET, ADT or ixCoin?
If so can you state how much you're trying to accumulate roughly and if its a trade position or a long term hold?
I'm accumulating ixCoin, DGC, ZET, Quark and a few others for long term positions which I will not sell until long after a Bitcoin ETF is launched.
And then I'm accumulating positions in newer coins like COL, ADT and a few others with the intention of taking advantage of their volatility and trading these coins on a regular basis.
I like ADT, sadly I didn't buy it when hit 0000003 the other week (cancelled a 50 LTC order (lol)). However, I picked up some at a very cheap price at BTCLTC.com - not sure exactly what I paid because it was in CNY (but a lot cheaper than it is there now) - but it's worth about 7 times more than I paid. I did the same with COL, but unfortunately the COL seems to have disappeared into a black hole of a blockchain. I think I'll keep the ADT in the hope it gets the crap pumped out of it at some point (currently looking possible). As far as accumulating coins, it is all high risk. Prices a month or so ago were more favourable. With BTC and LTC being extraordinarily expensive, it makes alts absurdly expensive, too (seeing as they are valued against either coin). Anyway, until the market looks relatively stable I am not keeping coins at all. I do a bit of trading with LTC, which I buy first, then cash out at BTC-e. Dollars seem the safe bet.

i have not been able to buy qrk for days, i just tried again now and my balance decreases and no order appears.
I managed to buy QRK before - it did take a while for the transaction to go through. Bter.com has QRK, too. It was cheaper than at Cryptsy last time I looked.

Is COL having problems?
Nothing through the blockchain for a day, before that another day.
I'm waiting for some from BTCLTC that I picked up at a bargain price. They have sent it, but it does not appear on the chain, and neither does anything else at the moment.

5% doesn't sound too bad really (regarding ADT).
You make the coin, and try and get some money. Let's not kid ourselves that many of these coins function to do anything else (a few noble exceptions, of course)
ORB was about 66%, or so I am led to believe.
PXC was hugely premined, too. Again, I am led to believe about 30%.
Then there were the FTC accusations, never verified whether true or not.
5% premine does not sound too bad? and people bash to death a coin that premined 0.4%?? What are your reasons there? 5% is WAY TOO MUCH. In ADT case, it is 3.6 Billions, which is absurd. Very very greedy the ADT dev, of course it is dwarfed by GLB's 20%. I'd say max 1% premine is considered as reasonable. quoting 3.6 billion is not really helpful. The premine, it is claimed, was 5%. Is that a lot? Maybe it is, but given there are currently 93 coins on Cryptsy alone, the majority of which are utterly useless, I won't get too bothered about a 5% premine. I have no plans to use cryptocurrencies for anything other than to amass more dollars. And to monocolor: IFC is not respected by anyone with a brain. It was the ultimate pump and dump coin, lost people a lot of money, made a lot of people a lot of money, and it has no use value whatsoever. I hope I am not alone in finding the moral tone some people apply to this marketplace quite ridiculous. Invent a coin if you want, make it "unpumpable" (it is possible), and then come back for a big pat on the back.

Worldcoin has some serious momentum right now.
It is doing well, but it always on pumps, which I hate. Watch the WFC offers pile in an at over the low bid, soon enough it is pumping. ut then always ends in a little dump.

just not QRK with all the little shills littering BTC-e at the moment. I bought some of these with some spare change at Cryptsy - cost 0.00000052 Imagine my disappointment that after selling them at double he price, someone decided it was the coin to pump to the idiotic price it ended up at. Add DGC if anything, which has stood the test of time. DVC is a nice coin, too. Or perhaps Shitcoin? I heard it has an honest Dev. lol. Get rid of FTC and NVC.

People won't adopt bitcoin because (1) there is no institutional or legal backup to the currency; and (2) the price fluctuates wildly because of speculation (we could be in a situation now where some people will lose $100k or whatever after investing at a price that to me is wildly unsustainable)
You could add another small reason: it is slow and not ideal in a world in which transactions are often instant (debit, credit card). But crypto in general can be fast so no reason to be hung up on that.
It's a kind of wild west currency, no rules, big players controlling the market, pump and dumps, and lots of fun.
But Granny won't be having any of it.
I'd love to get an insight into how the market really works, the exchanges, the big players, how organised the pumps are.
Quite fascinating.

I've been waiting a few hours for ADT from BTCLTC.com, and nothing is coming through. The coins are just sitting there waiting to leave, but locked and processing. Very annoying, although it isn't a huge amount in cash terms ($35).
Just really bugs me

Yes, leave the "s" off and you connect fine. In saying that, I tried to withdraw some ADT a few hours ago and they seem to be going nowhere but sitting in "process"

I couldn't even sell 500 billion for a dollar when I tried.
I'll give you a dollar for 500 billion

I have 5000, for sale if anyone wants them
Or make me a LTC cut and paste clone for fun - easy as it can be, sort of coin that can be mined by any computer that bothers to mine them. Quick transactions, high numbers.
Or might swap for some ADT n- which I have taken a liking to (regret not buying at 3 a couple of weeks ago)

you can buy extremecoin for only 0.000008 on bter. best purchase price at the moment! grab it while it`s hot
nice bit of "shilling", the price is 10 to 20 times higher than it was a week ago.

Wow exc trading has been busy im sure cryptsy is probably now interested
"Busy" as in someone raised the price about 1000% with fat walls on BTER and CoinsEx at the same time. Disappointed with this event and and subsequently with the coin. Can the Dev give an insight into what is going on?

I have 5000 Zenithcoin, if anyone wants to buy, make an offer
Name a reasonable price. Hmm, I have no clue what is reasonable. I paid 4.5 LTC - so I guess 5 LTC would mean a profit.
