Also able to mine BTG using 2gb card and gminer.
But that is slim pickings.

Try mining just eth and not dual mining. If it works at least you can mine the profitable one.

Switch to linux like ... mmpos , hiveos, simple mining os, ethos...etc....
These will give your 4gb cards 60-90 days before the dag will be too large for them.
|
|
|
Well if ETC does the dag cut in 1/2 then it may well get a new lease on life mining ETC. This is still up in the air i believe at this time.
There are also a few other coins with ethash that have smaller DAGs...they are probably not profitable to mine after power costs but there are a couple. Realize when the 4gb limit is hit...going to be a lot of hash looking at very few coins to mine. Unless ETC does its 1/2 DAG then i think hash on ETC will grow....but who knows.

Keep in mind that ETC recently had 51% attacks and many exchanges have disabled deposits. Hence there is a reason why the profitability is better because its more riskier to mine.
Since its the same fork as ETH you can use any ETH desktop wallet as long as you got the private key for that wallet. It will work on the ETC network also. Just do a small transaction writing a raw transaction and make sure it works... it should.
If you want to mine to an exchange... use Coinbase but keep in mind the confirmation time is like 2 weeks. Hence you just need to use your own wallet.
thanks for answer mate i cant do a transaction with etc to test it because its closed to deposit and withdrawals ,i treshold my etc to 0,1 in ethermine i reach out but no payout yet ,why because the etc fork ? when can i get the payout from ethermine ? Well it says on the ethermine.org website " On the 1st and 6th of August ETC suffered a 51% attack. Consequently, the amount of confirmed blocks required for payouts has been set to 80 000. " .... 80,000 confirmations. ETC is currently about 13 seconds per block (confirmation) so about 12~13 days you will get paid. Looks like the minimum is very small on payout but will be once a day for the smaller amounts. So if you mined to Coinbase (or just about any exchange) then it would be almost a month before you could access your coins. 2 weeks ethermine to pay...and 2 weeks for CB to unfreeze once deposited.

I am not sure why to pay for 3080, when I can buy two RADEON VII cards for that price, which have 100Mh/s each...
Well for starters the 3080 costs $699 NEW...you cant buy a VII used for under $700 if you check ebay. Amazon wants $1300 and Newegg has no offering. So for your case 2 of the vii's will cost you $1400 to get total 200mh/s....and you are getting used. For $1400 you can get 2 NEW cards which do 120mh/s each....so 40mh/s more with warranty..... What are you babbling about again?

OP that is some fine work there. Ive got several of these but stop at 13 gpus because i run since 2400 watt supplies but run out of connections after the 13th gpu.
In the past ive found the H110s to be more stable for me, but my 250's were from a couple years ago. May have to check them back out. Thank you for sharing your progress!!

OK you dont set your clocks at the miner...you set them in the ethos config file (remote.conf or local.conf) You set them using cor and mem config lines. There is no reason to set them at the miner Ethos will handle setting them. So if you want 1150 on the mem clock... mem (rig id) 1150 1150 1150 1200 The above line would set gpu0 to 1150 gpu1 to 1150 gpu2 to 1150 and gpu3 to 1200 And yes ETHOS is very reliable. Not updated since 10/9/2018 and still running like a champ with all the modern miners.

Disable Vt-D
At least the rest of looks correct.
Ive got this exact board...currently its got 7 gpus becuase thats all i had for it. Ill see if i can stick an 8th on it this weekend.

Set Bios for intel procs as follows:
set VTd INTEL VIRTUALIZATION to DISABLE. set ONBOARD AUDIO/SOUND (AZALIA) to DISABLE. set IEEE1394 to DISABLE. set PCI-E SUBSYSTEM/LANES to x8/x4/x4 set ONBOARD GRAPHICS to DISABLE. set PCI-E GENERATION to GEN2. set CPU FREQUENCY SCALING to DISABLE. set CPU PERFORMANCE MODE to ENABLE. set FAST BOOT to DISABLE. set CSM to ENABLE.
Start by elminating if its the gpu or the 8th position. Simply unhook and swap gpu 8 with gpu 7. (or any other) but just move the gpu not the cables / riser / etc). If the problem follows the gpu then its something with the gpu. If the problem stays in 8th position its in the slot/riser/cable/bios/power.
So if it stays on 8th position try swapping the riser...then the cable..then the edge card....one by one to see if one of them is the issue.
If that doesnt get it my guess is its power. That your gpu now in compute is consuming more power and has stepped over the limit of what is available. Remember its not just total power but also how much you can get from each on each type of connector. You may have plenty of power on the 12v but there are also seprate limits on the 5v and 3.3v...and also on each chained plug. PSU problems are tough to find if you only have one psu....but if you have more get a simple y cable and keep each card/riser on the same psu’s and you can run the 8th card off the second psu. If it works then...its power. Only way to be sure about power is have more than enough to confirm. Power issues can cause some bizarre issues.

This is the PI Network coin : Coin is inactive. Contact hello@coingecko.com if you think this is an error This refers to IOU tokens. FUBT has shut down so this IOU trading is no longer happening. Main net launch of Pi Network is yet to take place. Check for announcement: https://fubthelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040503052--New-Token-FU-BT-will-list-Pi-NETWORK-futures-on-March-14-2020So dead coin that was never going anywhere is dead. But arcticglobal keeps beating the dead worthless horse...probsbly becuase its stealing people info and at the very least tracking them on thier phones. Why does BTCTALK let non mined coin crap like this on thr board..this is NOT mining and is NOT an alt coin. Its a scam.

if i want to change for example only GPU 3 MEM CLOCK's, how can i do?
http://ethosdistro.com/pool.txtexplains how its done check your config file and will be a line starting with mem i have checked several times this file, but it does not explain if it is possible to set only one GPU in a rig with a lot of GPU's. I can set by worker, by Bios or globalsettings, or set one by one.. but i want to set only one GPU (the third one) on the rig.. Is this possible? EXAMPLE: MEM: default default 2150 default default default default default Taken from the document i linked: WORKER ) # # PER-RIG STYLE CONFIG SETTINGS THAT APPLY TO INDIVIDUAL RIGS (AND THEIR RESPECTIVE INDIVIDUAL GPUS) # NOTICE: c94e13 is a SAMPLE rig/[worker]/hostname, change it to the rig/[worker]/hostname of YOUR RIG # NOTICE: Your rig/[worker]/hostname names are assigned automatically by the OS, do not change them # # SAMPLE FORMAT: # [type] [worker] [gpu0 value] [gpu1 value] [gpu2 value] [gpu3 value] [gpu4 value] # ------------------------------------------------------ # cor c94e13 950 1000 1050 1025 980 # mem c94e13 1250 1500 1500 1250 1250 # fan c94e13 90 80 85 100 70 # pwr c94e13 10 20 15 15 20 # vlt c94e13 0 1118 0 0 1118 # ------------------------------------------------------ It wasnt even very far into the document.

Check all thesein bios:
set VTd INTEL VIRTUALIZATION to DISABLE. set ONBOARD AUDIO/SOUND (AZALIA) to DISABLE. set IEEE1394 to DISABLE. set PCI-E SUBSYSTEM/LANES to x8/x4/x4 set ONBOARD GRAPHICS to DISABLE. set PCI-E GENERATION to GEN2. set CPU FREQUENCY SCALING to DISABLE. set CPU PERFORMANCE MODE to ENABLE. set FAST BOOT to DISABLE. set CSM to ENABLE.

You may try to make the boot delay longer. It may be the bus just needs a second or two more time to fully register everything. I usually use a 6 second delay if the bios supports a delay on boot.
And it is NOT thr cpu....i have sevral of these running 13 gpus for last several years no issue. (g4400 cpuj
