1201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 211: Miocic vs Dos Santos info and Prediction Thread on: May 06, 2017, 10:52:20 PM
This is what I'm thinking.  The problem now is what to bet on.  The under 1.5 rounds at 2.41 on Nitrogen?  I don't think it's giving us enough value to make the bet worth it.  I'd start putting some BTC on that starting at 3.00 and above.

I wonder what the other bookies are laying on the over/under.  Any suggestions?  Looking for bets on under 2.5 rounds and 3.5 rounds for Miocic vs Dos Santos with decent odds.

I think most people are expecting JDS to fight moving backwards, like he did when he fought Ben Rothwell, Cain Velasquez and Mark Hunt.

If JDS is moving away from Stipe the whole fight, it will likely be harder for one of them to land a knockout punch.

The fight will probably go on longer if JDS avoids standing toe to toe with Stipe. Heavyweights usually tire quickly. If they don't get a KO in the first 1-2 rounds, they're usually too tired to get it in the 3rd, 4th or 5th rounds. Especially if there's lots of wrestling and grappling.

1.5 odds could be too low. Should probably be 2.5 or 3.5.

I think we will see JDS playing a defensive game, trying to lure Stipe into his trap, then he will rush to him and take it to the ground and try to break his arm or something. JDS is brutal if he catches you. Stipe can ground and pound and that's all, his ground game is not as good, but the dude is huge so it will be hard to keep him down, his striking is also sharp. Thought day of work for JDS.
1202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 213: Bisping vs GSP Info and Prediction Thread on: May 06, 2017, 04:05:20 PM
Isn't Michael Bisping the guy that lost an eye during a fight? I think he just should retire, fighting with 1 eye only is an huge disadvantage. He is great at commentating, so I would stikc to that.

GSP is great, but out of his prime, this may give Bisping a chance, but again, fighting with 1 eye vs a MMA legend is just crazy.
1203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Whales stockpiling cheap POSW before the big pump to $1+ on: May 06, 2017, 03:21:30 PM
id like to believe you but its getting absolutely crushed today a whale wouldnt crash it that much one would think.

Look at the 2 BTC buy, it got filled in. So the whales are getting what they want: buying in chunks at cheap prices, now it's back to 6k still at support line. There's a lot of fake news and FUD about this coin to keep it suppressed. Sooner or later it will properly pump to $1+ and holders will have the last laugh.
1204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How does Luke Jr expect segwit to be activated? on: May 06, 2017, 02:31:56 PM
Luke JR is on record claiming Litecoin is a scamcoin:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=23768.msg3815348#msg3815348

He is also recently on record claiming segwit will eventually activate:

So the question is clear... how does Luke Jr expect segwit is going to get activated? when is "eventually"? How isn't LTC going to keep going up while BTC has all this drama about segwit?

We are never going to have 95% consensus, and all other alternatives don't look good and don't bring certainty. UASF and so on, could end up badly.

Are you just praying to mother Mary or something? tell us. We want segwit as much as you (except the usual trolls) but let's be realistic, I don't see it happening, which means it's time to pick up some cheap LTC.
1205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: extended soccer analysis, european leagues only on: May 06, 2017, 12:48:08 PM
In Europe, football is very cruel.
Basically this year we have seen a lot of ups and downs of many club. By the way, first leg semifinal game already happened and it's more or less clear which team going to UCL Final.
For my prediction,  Real Madrid will face Juventus at Wembley. hopefully it will be a memorable game, Bufon deserves a great farewell that's why Juventus should be winner.

I don't think Juventus has any real chances to beat Real Madrid if Cristiano Ronaldo is playing his usual top game. He will score quickly again and put pressure on Juventus. Another goal and hopes are dead for Juventus. The only way they can avoid this is if Bufon has one of those magic nights he stops all the goals, but I think he is past his prime and just needs to retire and enjoy his millions.
1206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC has to correct before it rises on: May 05, 2017, 10:44:20 PM
I don't believe the rise will be sustained. We are going back to 0.009 before the price consolidates and finds a solid floor above 0.01. There's also the risk of investors selling the news again just like what we saw with segwit getting locked in. One last dip before the rocket ignites.

It's also going to need continued good news otherwise the price will tend to stagnate until we see solid LN usage.

You know, price does not rise because of shorters, that do not give a shit about product, rather than earn a single satoshi. Despite that everything is possible, it will not go to 0.009, forget.  It was correcting for a month or so, now only up.

Fuck you shorters, lets prove LTC value! Smiley

I want LTC to rise, but it's looking to sharp of a rise. Also let's see how serious community is about LTC after segwit, because "sell the news" can happen, and we are going to see a big dip if that is the case.

I hope everything is good for the long term, but sharp rises have sharp falls and I will be there to buy cheap, sooner or later the good moment to buy will arrive, and no im not shorting.
1207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: extended soccer analysis, european leagues only on: May 05, 2017, 03:33:37 PM
I made some big money the other day when I bet that cristiano ronaldo would score 3 times against athletico madrid and it was exactly what I bet. The big money is in guessing the amount of goals too and not only the team that will win. I was lucky tho but I think CR7 is in his best moment ever. He can't perform as good vs barca but the rest of teams he is a killer.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 211: Miocic vs Dos Santos info and Prediction Thread on: May 05, 2017, 02:24:24 PM
Just look at what happened at the Ronda Rousey fight, she came back after her defeat with Holm, then got destroye again for the title fight. It was ridiculous and a shitshow. Indeed those fights make the UFC feel like WWE. But at least they give us the fights that people want to see. The HW boxing division has been a mess for the past few years, we didn't got the fights we wanted, and Klitschko brothers were too dominant anyway. It was not until we got other skilled fighters with a good reach that we started seeing better fights. They just had too much advantage due their height + skill.
Let us not compare Ronda Rousey against the Klitschko brothers, look at the age of Wladimir Klitschko he is 41 years of age and a lot of boxing under his belt and if this fight was five years back i am sure the result would be different.Getting punched in the face for this long is not a good thing and reflex will deter with age,Klitschko brothers dominated world boxing and they defeated everyone in their prime and let us see how Anthony Joshua will perform after 40 plus fights.

Im not comparing Ronda to Klitschko , im just pointing out at how stupid the UFC is when they give people that are obviously overrated and living from former fights, straight title shots. After being beaten by Holm in such spectacular fashion, Ronda didn't have the right to demand a title fight straight away. But since Ronda is a cash cow, they gave her a title fight, and now her career is over.

If shes back, there's no way she can ever come back and fight for a fight title without beating some people up first.
1209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PoSW may be the rare opportunity to get rich by entering early on a coin on: May 05, 2017, 01:41:36 PM
I'd have few guesses:

1) Pumps in upcoming week(s), it's been rather declining so far and new pump can happen (looking at current market)
2) Continues bearish run and peaks later on
3) Drops to the bottom, loses user base, bye.

It's consolidating its price around 8-9K, it's actually still above support line so we are good. As long as we stay around there smoothly, it will be good. The site is getting increased traffic, updates keep getting rolled, things are looking good. Whales are accumulating and people are staking tons of coins to take advantage of the price while it's still under $1.
1210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin will be number 1 when we reach 100 BILLION MARKET CAP ? on: May 05, 2017, 12:48:13 PM
Still BTC?

May be ltc? eth? xrp ? as yet unknown or unheard of project? or a low rank outsider?

I see BTC touched down to 55% dominance or lower today? that was unthinkable a few months ago.

I realise MC does not mean too much with all these tokens where a handful of people own them all but from the large well distributed projects I wonder if any will crush BTC by the time we hit 200 BILLION if it is not possible by the 100 BILLION mark.

Pretty easy, it begins with B, and ends with N. Yes, that's Bitcoin.

The marketcap dominance thing is useless. I don't know why people pay attention to that. Anyone can create their own altcoin, premine it, then suddendly the marketcap goes to the moon.

BTC is still #1 and no other coin is anywhere close to being #1 so stop dreaming about that. ETH bubble crash sooner or later.
1211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PoSW may be the rare opportunity to get rich by entering early on a coin on: May 04, 2017, 06:08:19 PM
After the strong 60% recover from 5k sats or so, we are seeing a bit of a small healthy pullback to the mean support line as expected. We have to stay at 8k-9k for a while, slow growth will be better.

Eventually this will catch up the eye of a whale and the price will sky rocket into new floors, be ready for that moment, that means buying when it's cheap, because this coin can go $1 in no time.
1212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC has to correct before it rises on: May 04, 2017, 03:25:57 PM
i was waiting for the dip the whole day, and i finally bought now, i might be wrong tho

Im not sure, I think I will keep waiting for at least 0.012. By looking at the past LTC rises, it tends to go up, then spend 3-7 days correcting. Of course we have the segwit hype, which is a gamble in either thinking people will sell the news or buy them after it officially activates. I think a big dip will happen, but we can't know if it's going to happen before this event or not.
1213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 211: Miocic vs Dos Santos info and Prediction Thread on: May 04, 2017, 02:18:44 PM
@Hydrogen. Boxing is dead. The sport has already made it past the silver age and the golden age and has already been declining since the early 2000s. After the days of fighters like Pretty Boy Floyd or Manny Pacquiao I do not know any charismatic boxer anymore.
You should have watched the fight. Wladimir Klitschko vs Anthony Joshua revived the good times of heavyweight boxing that night. It was a more exciting fight than most of the boring UFC fights i've seen lately. Haters have been claiming boxing is dead for a long time just like they claim BTC is dead, but it's always there and always comes back.
I do accept the fact that the fight between Wladimir Klitschko and Joshua was a classic one and it was a break out performance from Joshua as this fight elevated him to super stardom and it is true that we are not seeing some interesting matches in the boxing scene, being a boxing fan it is always great to see good fights and we would like to see some good fights,UFC is becoming a spectacle now a days as people are fighting for the belt right away after a long break of four years and so on,it will undermine the legitimacy of the entire structure.

Just look at what happened at the Ronda Rousey fight, she came back after her defeat with Holm, then got destroye again for the title fight. It was ridiculous and a shitshow. Indeed those fights make the UFC feel like WWE. But at least they give us the fights that people want to see. 1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC has to correct before it rises on: May 04, 2017, 01:26:53 PM
There you go, it's already correcting. I think it peaked at 0.0153 and now we'll go back to 0.012 to test support line. Maybe that is a good entry point, assuming it pumps before segwit is activated and the news get sold to hopefully fall down to a bigger price than the 0.012 entry point.

Who else is waiting for that dip?
1215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Klitschko vs Josua Info and predictions on: May 04, 2017, 12:10:24 PM
Guys, there is another major boxing event this weekend between 2 sons of Mexico:

Canelo Alvarez vs Julio Cezar Chavez. But I haven't seen any thread started yet on the fight? This is gonna be a huge fight don't you think? There should be a discussion board for this one. (Forgive me if a thread already exist).

For me, I understand there is a rematch clause, so I think they will fight again so that AJ can proved that his win over Wlad is not a fluke. I don't see him fighting Tyson Fury, Tyson is not ready yet.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr is the son of the legendary Julio Cesar Chavez, he's a good boxer but not as good as his dad. In this fight, he has the height advantage, the reach advantage, pretty much everything physical he got the advantage, bt Canelo Alvarez is overall the better boxer. Canelo got destroyed by Floyd but he has learned since then and has become a top competitor, I think he will win if he is able to find the right angles.

I agree. Canelo is way better that JCC Jr. Its just so happened that he is a son of a legend that's why he took so many media attention. But they say that he is too lazy in training. He was exposed in the Martinez fight already and lost some of his stardom. While Canelo is rising to be Mexico's darling now. So I'm intrigue on how this fight goes.

It is unfortunate that he fought Floyd Mayweather when he was still too new. The fight of Canelo vs Floyd is really a masterclass in boxing, Canelo looked like a total amateur. Now he has forever a loss in his portfolio, and he could have a perfect record, but of course people would say he ducked Floyd if he didn't fight him.

Looking forward to see Canelo vs Pacman or something.

Unexpected Coinbase addition made the price pump. Anyway, doesn't matter, LTC will correct after the hype is over. We can eventually buy back cheaper. No way im buying LTC at $20. For the price hype to continue it's going to need more than this. Remember that ETH crashed after it got added in that other big exchange.
1218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Klitschko vs Josua Info and predictions on: May 03, 2017, 06:30:30 PM
In all sincerity, although the match has been concluded and the winner has been declared, if I had the opportunity to place a bet a day before, no matter how hard I try, I would have placed it on Vladimir Klitschko because I so much trust that he will win the game but I am equally happy that I didn't lose my money because I would have lost big  considering the amount of trust I had in that guy. But the winner I hope meet his own crusher soon.

The Crusher will be Tyson Fury for sure. Anthony Joshua got exposed, he is not that great, he has been undefeated because he hasn't fought the top 3 yet. We are going to see Anthony Joshua get beaten in a rematch against Vladimir, and if he manages to win again, we are going to see him KO'd by Tyson Fury. Those are my predictions.

I hope Tyson Fury can get back to his old self and fight Anthony Joshua. He is fighting another fight, which is battling mental health problems. But if ever the fight happen, I would also go for Tyson Fury. And I think this would be the next logical mega bout in Heavyweight division. My man Tyson should get back into shape and show who's really the Heavyweight Champ. Grin. He has gain a lot of weight since 2015 win against Klitschko. So I don't know if the fight can be made anytime soon.

I know Fury is awkward as hell to hit but can he be awkward for 12 rounds? Joshua will land one of his triple combos at some point. I can't wait to see how Fury handles it. AJ is smart man he doesn't go for the one punch knock out because he knows in the HW division it takes 2 to 3 punches to put a man of that size down.

Well Tyson Fury was far from dominating in the Wladimir Kltishchko fight, I forgot how boring that fight was. He is good in making the opponent frustrated in an akward way (unlike Floyd which is really flashy and stylish) but we are going to see Tyson get exposed if he cannot back his claims up against AJ sooner or later and he will not have any excuses to make after he loses.

Looks like PoSW got added to a ton more markets. I bought it over a week ago when it was just on c-cex and poswallet and it dipped from $0.19 to $0.10. It's volume is way up today and jumped up 50% overnight. If this is the pump we've all been waiting for, we could be in for a fun day  Smiley

This is nothing. POSW is a $1+ dollar coin, the circulating coin supply is tiny and so is the price in relation to the circulating coin supply, and the total supply is 70 million too, some people are still confused and think it's 250 million.

Im not selling my POSW for less than $1.

Still hoping for a greater LTC crash to buy, I think people will sell the news again once segwit activates but we'll see.
