This isn't what I wanted, as I just used the stop as a security in case things go wrong. Is there a way to somehow relate a stop order and a limit order to each other, so when an open trade hits one of them, the selling amount on both of them is reduced, so that effectively only one or the other gets activated?
These are fairly used in other markets and are called one-cancels-the-other orders and they are a great idea. In the long run, I would like "completion of order X initiates order Y" (so you can sell at a certain price, and initiate a rebuy limit order at lower price automatically), but of course those are advanced features, don't know if there is already a proper term for them. More important to get the basics up and running smoothly first of course. |

The weird thing about the current "bubble", is that is going up so fast so soon. Percentage-wise, if it is like previous "bubbles", we could still have quite a way to go, but the daily percentage gains are just off the chart, very reminiscent of a blow-off top. Let's hope it's just an indication of the incredible demand, and there is a mega-bubble to come . |

I'm feeling it... this is better than any drug. How much have you made this month? This month? How much have you made TODAY? I just whipped out the calculator and spontaneously did a happy dance  . I know euphoria is usually prelude to a hangover feeling, but this feels awesome . Paper profits. View them as such. If it drops to $100 tomorrow (without valid reason) I won't care. I know, it can disappear in a blip. If the april crash is any indication, I won't give a shit until 1-2 weeks after the crash. Then I hit myself on the head repeatedly for not selling . |

No I'm long on bit stamp and short on bitfinex so when they recouple, both positions profit.
That's smart, except that they may not recouple for another 12 hours, which is plenty of time for you shorts or longs to get crushed. I think he means without leverage. AFAIK, Stamp doesn't offer leverage. |
