1221  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC100 CNY exchange reports 80,000btc 24hr volume on: September 29, 2013, 08:30:15 AM
What is the normal volume of this exchange? I'm guessing it's something less than 1000BTC. So how could something that does a tiny volume suddenly do 80,000BTC volume? I would think it to be technically impossible. There simply wouldn't be the liquidity, deposit/withdraw processing, exchange engine, order book depth, etc to do it. I mean I could see it maybe GROWING to that amount over a month or so, but not overnight.
They were steady at 1000+, then this happened 3 days ago:

Either they are manipulating their API stream or China has discovered the BTC.

But why pay additional fees when he can have everything under his own control?
1226  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin reloadable VISA on: September 28, 2013, 11:54:20 PM
Here, I have to "withdraw" my coins to a foreign SEPA account, which is, AFAIK, not accepted officially by exchanges, including Bitstamp. In other words, I need to withdraw to my current bank account, just like I do now, and then transfer fiat to reload my card.
Who told you that? You are acquiring a bank account with the purchase of the card. This is your bank account and thus you can withdraw to it.

So, what I'm looking for would be more like a "real" Bitcoin reloadable card, without going through SEPA.
I still fail to understand that concept. The world unfortunately still works with that antiquated system of FIAT, but you want to load a card with BTC and then? Go shopping with it? Or withdraw BTC at an ATM?

Are you guys intentionally trying to keep away 99% of the world?

Even though this is way off topic just look what has happened in WW2 and all the subsequent wars the land of the free has started.
Smokes became the de facto currency, harder than the local currencies and even the mighty USD.

There will be a new announcement at the beginning of October.
Parts of the Polish cash have been unblocked already, but the public attorney, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and even the Foreign Intelligence Service are still denying access to vital information to finally close the case.
I wouldnt count on a speedy resolution.
