1221  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: August 04, 2017, 01:24:07 AM
No, money is NOT above all things because it is just a medium for us to be happy and to make others happy. If we leave this world, we will not be able to bring whatever money we have but what will remain is the mark or impact we have to the people and that I think is the one we should focus on. Doing good things for others and for ourselves is the key to happiness and I believe that above all things is GOD.
1222  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: August 03, 2017, 03:18:42 AM
I know it's good to hear some average people get rich but if more and more people found about this then possibly they will leave their jobs and focus only on bitcoin. The downside effect is most people will no longer work and rely only on bitcoin. I hope this wouldn't affect other industries because everything isn't about bitcoin.

Having more people use bitcoin is good news because it means higher demand and possible increase in price but the downside of this is that when more people knew about the potential income they could earn in bitcoin, they might leave their jobs and work full time earning bitcoin which may cause some problems in other industries. Employees who doesn't like their jobs, hate their boss and wanted to have time freedom would prefer bitcoin over their jobs since earnings in bitcoin nowadays is almost comparable to earnings being employed.
1223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: August 03, 2017, 03:05:48 AM
Gambling should be seen as fun, a hobby if you like not seen as a serious way of making money because more often than not you are going to lose.

Others makes gambling as a serious way of getting instant money that is why instead of having fun while playing they end up losing everything and become addicted to gambling.

I've been into gambling before. Yes I did thought that it's my way of having a huge income because in just seconds or minutes I'm earning a large amount. I did won several times and multiplied my capital but then because of greediness wanting to have more, my time has come when my losses is bigger than my wins and deposited several times even use funds not intended for gambling just to get back what I lose but I still lose because I'm so emotional already not quietly thinking straight. At the end day, I realized what a stupid mistake I did and during that time, I decided to leave gambling.
1224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: August 03, 2017, 02:53:10 AM

I want to generate a constant monthly gain. Is it possible to do this by bitcoin trading? So, can I just do this by dealing with BTC trading?
Are there any people among us who can make a living by trading in BTC?

I think the professional traders can do it. Trading for a living is what they do. If you really wanted to have a monthly gain then practice and practice would be the way. But even if you already practice, there would still be times that you lose because that's the market it can never be predicted. We all trade base on speculations and if we are correct then good but when we are wrong then we learned a lesson and continue to trade to get back up.
1225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: August 03, 2017, 02:38:39 AM
I got disappointed in trading because I did lose but then realize that losing is part of trading. The important part is I was able to learn my lesson and get back up. Now I am more careful with my trades but still losing because not all the time we will win right? When I lose now, I already have a plan of how to get it back unlike before that when I lose, I don't know what to do next. Experience would still be the best teacher.
1226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: August 03, 2017, 02:24:49 AM
I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.

I save bitcoin for investment for future purposes. Bitcoin for me is one of the fastest way to gain profit compared to other businesses especially the traditional ones because it might take years for a traditional business to gain a substantial amount that can be gained/earned in bitcoin for just a year or less. Gains in bitcoin would be use to build another business and the cycle continues until such time when I don't need to work anymore because I can live off with the interest of my businesses which is the true goal!
1227  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: August 02, 2017, 02:44:26 AM
Today a question came to my mind that which site will be more profitable a gambling site or a dating site? Actually I want to find out that in which place people are more interested and where people mostly want to go to get fun.

A gambling site would be more profitable than a dating site because gambling is addicting especially if you always won and gamblers would always go back to the site if they have the money whether just to have fun and pass time or to get back what they lose before so there would be more people flocking on gamblers site. While on dating site, there is an age restriction and usually the adult ones are visiting the site so there is not much market compared to gambling that teenagers have access or much more interested on it.
1228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: August 02, 2017, 02:09:48 AM
When do you decide to sell?

Is it a sat, a % of profit, or even a randomly thought up number in your head?

I am new to trading Crypto, but when I traded other stocks, I would aim for a certain percentage.
This seems much easier to hit that percentage, but much more risky.

How do you determine when to let it go?

My strategy is to sell whenever it reach my target profit which is usually 2 - 3% of the total amount I traded for that certain pair. I usually do day trading and concentrate on one pair at a time because if ever the price goes down then I would have to average down and lower down the target price which is usually reach for that day. If ever it will not reach the price then I would have to wait for tomorrow and then average down again until such time it will reach the target price.

1231  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: July 31, 2017, 01:38:54 AM
I think some of them invest on it because they have people managing their accounts/money and these people needs to be updated always to what is happening in the economy and the world as well that might affect their businesses. Businessman or billionaires always look for ways to retain their status so they should always know any investment that has profit potential. Having some financial advisors that is always up to date would already know about bitcoin and with further analysis and basing on the bitcoin's track record, I think they would be entice to invest in bitcoin.
1232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: July 30, 2017, 03:09:38 AM
Hi guys Smiley May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future? Do you plan to keep on investing on Bitcoin related businesses or do plan to convert it into fiat and ventures on new business?

I'm planning to invest more on Bitcoin related companies and convert some of my Bitcoin into fiat and invest it on our local stock market. How about you?

I also have the same plan as you. Convert some of it to fiat for other businesses because we never know what will happen in bitcoin in the future so having a business that exist physically is like a back up in case of whatever happens. Convert some of it to invest in stock market and other investment vehicle and then trade some of it. The remaining ones would be for trading altcoins and then the rest is for savings because just for saving alone you could earn up to 2000% as what I can see in others for those lucky ones who were able to buy bitcoin on the early years.

1236  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: July 29, 2017, 03:57:01 AM
Nope, I don't think "soon" but I do think after 15 years or so it is a definite possibility. "soon" i guess is a relative term.
Yes agree and I'm not sure bitcoin will replace the dollar in 20 more years, it may take at least 50 years from now. This is because the dollar is the strongest currency of the world.

I also agree that it will not be "soon" because fiat currency is still the one that will be used by people unless there would be a law that will prohibit people from using the fiat and just use the crypto currency but it's near to impossibility that it would be implemented. My guess is that crypto currency will be use as an investment vehicle whereas the mode of exchange of people would still be the fiat. Besides, there are still so many parts of the world that has no internet connection and for others there is still no electricity so how can they use the cryptocurrency if they can't even access it.
1237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: November 20, 2016, 09:56:03 AM
It's possible that bitcoin would be the future of money because as we can observe in our daily lives, almost all the transactions can be done digitally so a digital currency that would be the medium of payment in the future is really possible. Given that what is happening to the world now and the economy in which the value of fiat currency is dropping gradually because of inflation, people will find a way to preserve or maintain their financial status by investing into something that is increasing in value as time goes by and one of the choices would be bitcoin. When there is already mass adoption then bitcoin would not be a foreign word for anyone anymore because almost everyone would be familiar with it. Maybe it would not totally make the fiat currency disappear but it would co-exist with it and people will have the choice to use either fiat or digital currency as payment option.
1238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: November 19, 2016, 06:37:49 AM
With the fluctuating prices nowadays, trading is the best source for me because it is possible that within just seconds or minutes, you can hit your target profit but of course there is a disadvantage in which the price may go the other way but if you have risk management and money management then trading would be profitable. In order to be profitable in trading, experience is needed because through it you will know what strategy is compatible for you with the available time you have in trading. You may choose long term trading or short term trading depends on whatever you are comfortable at.
1239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantages of bitcoin on: October 14, 2016, 10:39:50 AM
The advantage of bitcoin over banks is that in bitcoin for a starter can open a bitcoin wallet anytime anywhere as long as he has internet connection and without the need of any supporting documents and age limit whereas in banks, you need supporting documents to open one and more often they need an initial deposit to open your account. Bitcoin is advantageous especially for those people who lack valid identification cards and in effect they can't open bank accounts while in bitcoin wallet they can open immediately and it doesn't even matter how many wallet they open. As what they said in bitcoin, be your own bank. Secondly, transaction fees are substantially lower compared to transacting in banks or remittance center so it would be advantageous especially for those people working abroad and regularly sending money to their families and relatives back home.
1240  Economy / Economics / Re: Take Redundancy Or Stick With Job? on: October 01, 2016, 12:20:40 PM
It would really depend on her if she really likes the job or not. For me, I would choose to continue to be employed with the company because she have flexible hours anyway and it is not guaranteed that she can find a job that would be better than the job she has for now. And there is a guaranteed raise already so the $20k that she would have to receive when she quit the job could be earn in a few months if she retained the job.But if there is an urgent need for her to have the money then she can take it and maybe find another job or make a business perhaps. It would really depend on her. Just list the advantages and disadvantages of each option and weigh it what would be the better choice.
