I heard that the ethereum is much better than the BTC that in fact is the same as BTC but improved and that is the reason why it is rising a lot of price.

I don't think so, btc is much better than eth. We can follow their history price, graphic volume and how many speculation happen on those coins?. BTC is cooling down now and eth is rising, but that's usual on real market. We can only predict depend on our strategy but market always get their own answer. It looks like all altcoins dump 10-20%. What is the reason?  I am very sad  Many reasons, but I only can say it's just supply, demand, and speculation. Actually, we can only predict but can't make sure what happen exactly. That's way we need to use stop loss on our investment and trade. For me speculation depends on news is biggest reason why altcoins dump and sometimes jump out over our expectation. Bitcoin (BTC) has a valuation of approx $40 Billion USD but smaller Altcoins like FOOTYCASH (FOOT) and Tatoocoin Limited Edition (TLE) have seen 5000% increases in the past week. Are Altcoins becoming the new penny stocks?For me altcoin is much better than " new penny stocks ", it's changed alternative payment and investment platform becomes more challenge and profitable. Altcoin maybe can't replace currency as major investment but coins are not penny stocks. You can see their price action, volume that's sometimes become reason why we choose altcoin as an investment. Too many coins, you should buy 3 - 4 coins for investment. Long time period investment need more money ( martiangle strategy ) and patience, never forget that. For me 3 - 4 coins is enough for investment, take low price coin with stable volume and buy it with only 60% from our money. But if for many coins is good for investment that's your choice, good luck. |

For now, I say yes, the price rise comes up and has significant volume transaction. But litecoin will never become number one coin, bitcoin still the best. Every coin has chance to increase their value but also becomes scam. We only can predict and follow trend, like this moment, litecoin is the best investment. I am trying to study and understand what makes some ICOs so successful and sought after while other do poorly and go completely ignored by the community.
Is it the team behind the project? is it the project itself? Is it the benefits for the investors?
What is in your opinion the main factor that influences the success or failure of an ICO?
For me, I only see price, volume and exchanger that accept their coin. If the price comes up, has stable volume and accepted by many exchangers, I'll say that coin is successful. Behind successful coin there's solid team with clearly goal and friendly platform doing hard work to increased the coin volume. As investor I only see that, nothing else. The Huobi development team announced that users will be able to trade Ethereum starting from May 31. I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.
What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?
I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.
If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.
Altcoin also has future, even every coin has it. We can't say because they have little volume and never become number one coin it doesn't have future. I think investment with eth, monero and xrp is the best way you can do. If we see their price action history and volume transaction is stable and sometimes become higher. For me it's a good news, time for litecoin to grow up. Today we need alternative beside btc as a payment method or business. BTC has high fee and price action is slowly than others. Depend your strategy and how much money do you have?. More time to get profit will need more money ( long time period time strategy ), and money is just management pattern. Why you not try to see price action history on graphic exchanger to find buy and sell area, not cheapest.
