Hi there,
I have 8.800 KH/s Scrypt GPU miner and I am wondering where to point my miners for best profits ( scrypt-n, x11, x13 or NiceHash MultiAlgo ) ?
According to poolpicker.eu there are much better places to GPU mine right now, thing is I don't know how to set up my BAMT & Config Files to do so..
Can someone PLEASE help me out here, I would like to be more profitable with my miners..
I run BAMT and after I purchased my Miners all I had to do is to edit my config file in BAMT with my BTC address and pool data to mine on clevermining..
What do I need to do to be able to mine another Algo ?
Any help is appreciated..
TradeMyBit is a good pool with a large variety of coins/algos to mine. Best to mine either X11 or X13 on there and auto exchange feature to auto trade for BTC. For Scrypt-N, find a pool that does merge mining with Vert and Monocle/Pharallax. Otherwise, you can also mine CryptoNight coins, ie. FCN,XMR,XDN,QCN,BCN and/or AEON. You can FCN merge mine on minergate with either XMR,XDN,QCN or BCN and use Claymore's CryptoNote GPU miner.

Will AEON be added to the pool? If yes, will it have merge mining also?

I don't see any example of .bat file if you wanna mm BCN/FCN pair on only mm pool, which is unfortunately minergate.com, but can anyone copy one for me please or explain it better than in Read me? Is this formate OK:
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 NsGpuCNMiner.exe -o stratum+tcp://fcn-bcn.pool.minergate.com:5558 -u my_mail_I_use_for_minergate_pool -password_I_use_for_minergate
Yup, that is correct. I had to find that one on my own also, but that is exactly how to make MM work on there. Hey Claymore, Why are you hesitant to make the miner work with AMD 14.6 driver? Seems like most miners out there gain a performance of some sort from it.

Seems like a withdrawal issue with XMR/MRO, probably plaguing QCN the same way. FCN and XDN seems to withdraw fine for me.

So, will the FCN MM ports on minergate work with 3.2 fine? Or is even MM working with this new miner version?
Solve my issue with making sure the -u was needed to put the email account for minergate in the bat file. Thanks for the no help crypto world.... On to a new issue: My 7970 isn't doing 450 h/s, but 370 h/s. I did gpu allocate at 100%. What settings are optimal to run is close to 450 h/s? sure mm ports work, but you cant withdraw your coins... i did a test, and first withdraw was in wallet in seconds, now they wont let me withdraw anymore. plz be aware when mining at minergate... I can withdraw FCN and XDN fine, but not XMR/MRO. I'll test throughout the day and see what happens. So far, there a lot of negative comments/experience from others also. Always a risk with new pools that aren't completely established yet.

- Sources: my miners are closed sources, I don't open sources.
The cryptocurrency community was founded and is based around open-source software. That is a principle I firmly believe in. I also do not believe you should do something for nothing. HOWEVER, looking at the dev fees, and the amount of traffic on each cryptonight algo... I would assume that the large population of those mining are now using your miner... which means... you are making a killing. I can't blame you for doing this... however, I do not see the point other than pure greed as to why you would continue to charge a 5% dev fee, when it is widely known that there are quite a few devs working on the OPEN-SOURCE gpu miners (cbuchner1 has one, albeit his own private stash... cuda only kids). There are many working on the AMD open source miner. All I'm saying is... you catch more flies with honey, than you do with vinegar. I don't expect you to do something for free, I wouldn't... but at the same time... don't be greedy. If you're going to charge a dev-fee... you might as well give us the version you're using that is all tweaked out and kicks out a shit-ton of hashes. Everyone knows devs keep the best for themselves, but it makes more sense for a dev who charges a fee with his software to give everyone the best, because that means he's getting more of a return when the dev-fee mining kicks in. ATM this is the Only gpu-miner. Yes, auhtor of cudaminer has one... but he is not sharing atm. So its your choice... Greed makes people do unethical things at times. Open source is the ideal concept, but there a few that don't believe in it, same as the concept of decentralization. Personally I would feel 2%~3% fee would be more acceptable, as this miner isn't exactly close to the hypothetical hast rates and has too many stales shares at times.

But be carefully what you are mining: currently state is ducknote and quazar coin can be withdrawal to wallet , but they dont come from wallet to Bittrex you cannot withdrawal monero only fantom coin goes to market without any problem Try set to 92-95 Ok, I'll try those range of settings. I know about withdrawing to the wallet, then withdraw from wallet to exchanges. Thanks for the help, appreciate it.

Been using an old dual 5970 rig for a long time, it's all worn out and can hardly run stock speeds anymore. I haven't used it much for X11 but have been trying it for a bit now and am getting these weird stats: Does anybody know why 1 core is 50% faster than the others? bat file: sgminer.exe -k x11mod -o pool -u user -p x -g 1 -I 18 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8000 -w 256 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 70-100 --temp-cutoff 100 --temp-overheat 95 --temp-target 78 --gpu-memclock 500-700 --gpu-engine 600-700 --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale Tried a few SGminer versions, this screenshot is from the 14.6 fix one, all sgminers I've tried do this same thing, gpu 2 is always 50% faster than the others. Current driver 13.12 on Win7 64 This does not happen when mining scrypt or Blake or Nist5 with this rig. Also tried running just 1 core at a time, same thing. 2 cores, so you need -g 2 instead or -g 1.

This is bullshit. Hardfork this and fix this before people start abandoning this coin. I'm ready to dump all my coins and move on and I'm not alone. A closed source miner kept private getting a majority of all the coins. Come on. we're mining 5000-7000 coins a dayhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=167229.msg7320842#msg7320842I have nothing bad to say about the dev of the miner because I would probably do the same. But I wouldn't be surprised if people called for changes either. smug sob, dev please fork, your coin is too good to be destroyed by one greed idiot. Hope that's not true about someone having a gpu miner and keeping it to themselves because of greed. That would defeat the ideals of decentralization in the crypto world.

Is http://duck.extremepool.org/ working alright? Shows the pool has twice the total hash of the whole network. Is there a stable GUI wallet for XMR? BBR has a decent one.

Wish there was another pool, other than Minergate, to merge mine with Claymore's GPU and CPU miners.

Is the payments running fine? Is the pool compatible with Claymore's GPU and CPU miners?
