If he took the proceeds from the auction, put it in bitcoin and hodl'd for a year, then he could pay everyone back maybe
1242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants to make a Google? Bitcoin Start up are the internet 2.0 on: July 23, 2014, 08:33:19 AM
I am all for business opportunities, but I think you need to have a concrete idea and a strong and small group of founders first.

Such stability

1244  Economy / Speculation / Re: My Story: Why Bitcoin Will Gain Traction Faster than We Think (The Five Stages o on: July 22, 2014, 05:11:59 PM
I took me one year to go through all of the stages - what an idiot I was  Grin
1245  Economy / Speculation / Re: A big crash is coming on: July 22, 2014, 01:37:40 PM

Every day we're getting closer to 600. As i said before i think a big crash is more likely than a big pump. Sadly enough.

If we don't go up soon i expect some big dumps. For most people there is no point waiting snymore for something that's not gonna happen, They will start selling. This expected rally up is taking too long.

Big dumps (10% or more) are unlikely to happen because currently btc is undervalued,
the trendline is higher than the current price so I'm expecting a rally soon.

I agree, looking at the charts we are really low compared to the hypothetical btc value of the trendline,
but no one can say for sure that we will follow that line again in the following years.
Can you post this chart you are referring to?
1246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 22, 2014, 10:29:44 AM
Bears are idiots.  It is clear we broke the downtrend - you cannot just redraw a a downtrend line to match today's price  Roll Eyes

The problem is 'fiat star' does not make any sense  Smiley
1248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Hangouts for Bitcoin on: July 21, 2014, 03:13:29 PM
So you want to talk to other Bitcoin members about Bitcoin through google hangouts is that what you mean?
Yeah. Ideally something a bit more arranged like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIP4YGXo8Nk
And not just random chit chat!
1249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Google Hangouts for Bitcoin on: July 21, 2014, 02:41:44 PM
I would like to take part in Bitcoin discussions on Google hangouts.  My main areas of interest are the implications Bitcoin has for businesses, particularly with marketing.

Can anyone recommend something?
1250  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: 2014 Malla Summer Retreat, Estonia (Aug 8-18) on: July 21, 2014, 02:29:17 PM
What currency are those prices listed in?
1251  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good news won't save Bitcoin's price any more on: July 21, 2014, 11:24:57 AM
This is your worst attempt at trolling yet.

You said we would never see $600 bitcoin again in the June bear trap.  Why should we listen to you?
1252  Economy / Services / Re: $50 Bounty - Figure out the problem with this website on: July 20, 2014, 06:42:29 PM
I am on the verge of fixing it Smiley

I am putting the bounty on hold for now
1253  Economy / Services / $50 Bounty - Figure out the problem with this website on: July 20, 2014, 06:06:09 PM
I have been playing around with various settings and plugins to make this website faster.  While it is faster, it is now very buggy with errors half of the time webpages are rendered.

The site is ahfreestyle.co.uk - not posting a hyperlink as this site cannot be indexed just yet.

So to get the bounty you need to:
Tell me cause of the problem
The best way to fix it

P.S. I posted a similar yet unrelated bounty for $100 recently for a different website. So please do not think I am trying to get the same advice for a lower price as this is a different problem with a different website
1254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 20, 2014, 04:56:21 PM
cavirtex has always been a low-pass filtered version of the bigger markets (bitstamp/gox, etc...)

we clearly broke the big downtrend a while ago but if you take a moving-average price line of a few days, cavirtex is at the top of the smoothed descending triangle...

fun stuff ahead.

Really interesting graph.  I think both bulls and bears can see these trends playing out.

And regarding the regulations: yes far from ideal but right now we need clarification that Bitcoin is legal to continue with the adoption process.  Laws can be changed down the line when large businesses accepting Bitcoin publicly criticize the regulations, rather than Bitcoiners.
1255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Banking Will Be Boring on: July 20, 2014, 09:11:27 AM
Boring = stability = good
1256  Bitcoin / Legal / Accounting for UK bitcoin businesses on: July 19, 2014, 03:35:48 PM
I have recently made my bitcoin marketing agency into a limited company, which now means I need to keep financial records.
Does anyone have a simple breakdown of what I should keep track of and a good system that works for them?

1257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 19, 2014, 02:02:57 PM
Now with Dell on board you have to be really dumb to just keep selling. It's clear there is only 1 way to go and that's up.
Then again i love seeing those idiots lose their money. Nothing better than seeing a 200 dump and the price going up 5 minutes later.

The dumb bears will still be saying merchant acceptance leads to more bitcoin being converted to fiat, which is very very shortsighted
1258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 19, 2014, 01:49:47 PM

Who thinks we will have a weekend rally?
1259  Economy / Services / Re: $100 Bounty to Get My Website Back Online on: July 18, 2014, 09:09:42 PM
Issue seems to have resolved itself.  If there are further issues I will PM you both so you still have an opportunity to win a bounty.

Thank you for your willingness to help
1260  Economy / Services / $100 Bounty to Get My Website Back Online on: July 18, 2014, 08:53:20 PM

I cannot even log into the admin panel to disable it.

Anyone who can get my site back will get $100
