~SNIP~

Thanks!

@blatchcorn whats the best source to find latest update about your project? I mean on which social media platforms you are active. All I can see on your twitter account are just retweets. There is nothing where we find info on how to invest, the tokennomics etc. I suggest be active on platforms like bitcointalk.org, so we get to know more about what you doing.

You can follow us on twitter @cata_blockchain.
If you would like to invest in this round, you can send e-mails to investor@cata.network, with a brief introduction about yourself. We will reply you as soon as possible and have a further discussion.

Thanks~

545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: where to invest with 30 000 usd on: November 12, 2021, 05:23:01 PM
Hi everyone. I am planing to invest 30 000usd. The  money will NOT be devided, the whole amount will be invested in just one coin/token
So which one should i choose,  any 10x coin for the future?
Thanks for your advices.

Edit:Thanks a lot guys.I have plenty of other coins,as well.So i would like to invest in a single project or token otherwise the profil is not like i've expected. Thanks a lot for all the advices.

If you have 30k usd and you don't know where to invest it, then relax and take a break. First learn how to invest in crypto. If you ask here then everyone will suggest coin of there own choice and you will get confused, chances are that in this confusion your investment may get struck.
It's also advisable not to invest all your money in one coin rather build a diversified portfolio.  30k is huge money you can buy few solid alt coin in good quantity in this capital.

•Bitcoin replacing Banks.
•Robotics replacing Man-power.
•Uber replacing Taxi's.
•Amazon replacing Bookstores.
•AirBnB replacing Hotels.

According to wold bank, there are around 2 billion people globally that are out of banking system due to different banking constraint. Bitcoin can be very useful tool to include all these bank less people into financial ecosystem. But bitcoin is not in a position to replace banks. Just like AirBnB coexist with hotels n uber with traditional taxis, bitcoin will coexist with banks.
First of all Bitcoin need to made it to main payment system, if it really wanna replace banks.
547  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't ever quit your job to trade crypto. on: November 12, 2021, 01:11:06 PM

You can consider leaving your job only if trading and investing in cryptocurrency support the needs of your family and take about the same amount of time as the main place of work. Thus, trading will cease to be a hobby for you, and in this case you should become a professional trader.

I bet no one can full fill this requirement. Crypto is bullish these days and almost anyone can make profit in such circumstances, only those who get over excited because of this bull run can think of quitting the job. Relax, this bull will be over soon and bears will take over. Those who think quitting there job won't ask such question once we are in bear season.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you think of Meta (Facebook) allowing bets in the metaverse on: November 12, 2021, 12:02:17 PM
if they will indeed enter the gaming or gambling arena, it may cause one reason for people to get addicted with this app. but the reputation will possibly deteriorate as it may not be good for younger gen as it will be another source of many problems that may arise later on. they may get the attention but this move may put them in the bad light.

Already Facebook addiction is biggest concern of parents, as child's n young people are spending most of there time on Facebook n other social media sites.  Adding gambling to Facebook ecosystem will result in more gamblers of tender age, something not good for society but good to generate revenue. So meta or Facebook won't care for social aspect as its money making business.
549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 12, 2021, 11:52:41 AM

Hasan Ali's catch knocked Pakistan out of the final. However, it would not be wrong to call Hasan Ali a villain in today's match. His bowling figure is extremely dull preparation. If Pakistan is 10 in the 19th over  Match would have contested if he could have taken the run.

Bad luck for hassan Ali, it was not his days. There were catches dropped by Aus too in the match but they went unnoticed since they won the match. Hassan Ali would feel heat of this drop catch for many days. It reminds me of rahat Ali dropping Watson at 6 in 2015 WC quarter final, it also costed Pakistan the match. Pakistan team should focus on not to drop catches in crucial games otherwise they will continue to lose games like that.
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They will try to stop Bitcoin on: November 11, 2021, 06:15:40 PM
They are just diverting the blame to Bitcoin and POW. POW is what secures the network.

The goal of what they are doing could lead to using fossil fuel as illegal. But what will really force the countries not to use fossil fuels or coal when they have the resources to explore?  I don't EU will stop countries like India, Russia, or China in going to making massive improvements to thier economy in using their fossil fuel. These are the countries that will fight for thier survival. The world could change to alternative energy but thier promises to thier citizen will have to be achieved first before they will turn to alternative energy.

Everyone is blaming PoW for consuming too much energy, if you read posts like this here it seems that only problem of world is energy consumption by PoW. What about other things that are consuming too much energy and destroying the nature with toxic gases like plastic Factories, pesticides spray etc. The list is too long to fit here. BTC network will continue to live even with 100 miners distributed globally (correct me if I am wrong).
551  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am I the only one having this feeling?🤔🤔 ( #Bitcoin ) on: November 11, 2021, 06:07:51 PM

So back to the title of this post..
How would your life had been without Bitcoin???

I got the real taste of Bitcoin when I started getting payments of my online work through crypto. When you work on online freelancer platforms like fiverr or upwork, huge money is deducted as platform fee and you get deducted payments after 15 to 20 days. With Bitcoin, I am now getting full payment, without deduction and most importantly instantly. So my life is completely revolutionized by Bitcoin and its hard to think to live without it.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 11, 2021, 05:48:02 PM
Pakistan have got big runs to play with as their batting once again came to the party.Pakistan scored 176/4 after 20 overs.
#Pakistan is unbeaten for 16 matches in Abu Dhabi in T20I's and Australia never loose against Pakistan in Knock Out stage of any ICC event .Looks like One of these records is going to break tonight .

Its the Pakistan who lost the game and end there winning sting. It was very entertaining game of cricket, Pakistan was very much in control f the game till 16 over. Marcus Stoinis played with very calm nerves along with Matthew Wade. Hassan ali was the man, conceded 44 runs in 4 overs and also dropped the crucial catch of Matthew Wade in 19th over. Matthew Wade hits three consecutive six after that drop catch.
Anyways we are going to have a team that will win T20 WC for the first time.
553  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I missed the boat is not new concept.. on: November 11, 2021, 05:05:36 PM

That's correct, but it's not how human psychology works. ATH brings enthusiasm, ATH brings FOMO, ATH has bigger chance for one to open his wallet. If he has the patience to get over the next "crypto winter", he has won.

On the other hand, in a bear market people tend to wait and wait and wait again for lower price, then they're fear the price will never rise again, then.. oops, it's ATH again. And this is how some find reasons after reasons for staying away.

Such things are very well explained by Warren Buffet "Buy when everyone fears to buy and sell when everyone greedy to buy". But we do reverse of it most of the time. When someone of selling in panic during dips, someone is buying (the wise one).

Quote
While I agree ATH is not a best moment to invest, if one made his mind, best is to DCA, whether there's ATH or not: buy multiple smaller amounts over longer period of time. This way one will clearly not buy always at ATH, this way one may even have the opportunity to buy the dip and the overall sentiment and investment may look really good. But, again, one has to be sure on what he's doing, one has to understand bitcoin, from what limited supply means to the market wild fluctuations and wallet security too.

IMO don't jump with your whole capital during the bull run, even if you are doing DCA then do that with 20-30% of your capital. Its very risky when BTC is at its ATH. The wild swings can go in any direction. Its the time when Whales are selling while the amateur investor are busy buying.
554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 11, 2021, 04:40:02 PM

This is just outright ridiculous. Do you really think that Pakistan will lose to Australia in the semifinals, just because CA promised to tour Pakistan? This allegation is as baseless as the one we had when New Zealand pulled out of the Pakistan tour. Back then, a lot of people here were saying that the BCCI asked New Zealand to pull out. Later it was proved that it was the New Zealand government which was behind the decision. And although CA has made the announcement, I am still not 100% sure about the tour. Some of the Australian players have already made negative statements about it.

Australia themselves have made them loo suspicious by announcing the tour just before the semi final . They were not visiting Pakistan even before 9/11 happened when all teams were happily visiting Pakistan and now all of sudden things changed. In the end its the decision of CA that matters not the players, if a player doesn't want to tour Pakistan then I am sure CA has replacement of that player. Even Pakistani coach is Australia Mathew Hayden.
Prime Minister of Pakistan sad that the reason for NZ tour cancellation was threat that originated from India, so we cant ignore the fact that BCCI is behind NZ tour cancellation.
555  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency trading is safe than forex trading on: November 10, 2021, 06:54:28 PM

I mean, mate, we're literally in a bull market; almost anyone's going to make money in a bull market as long as he/she isn't tremendously bad. Bull markets are times when almost everyone thinks they're some trading/investing genius. Wait til we get into bearish territory, then re-evaluate if you're actually good.

This bull season will not last forever, market always take correction after such a massive bull run and that bear market may end for months. Even in bull market you need to play smart in order to make profit.
Coming to OP question, if you compare forex and crypto trading then I would say forex is old and matured trading compared to crypto. Crypto is still in its early days and fundamentals for this trading are still in process of finalization.
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 10, 2021, 06:48:10 PM

New Zealand did it! Normally 57 runs from the 4 overs is hard to make. But New Zealand made it in just 3 overs. Daryl Mitchell played really great. But not going to give him the full credit. Devon Conway & Neesham batted well too. Everyone thought England would win today, but New Zealand has proven it wrong. And they are the finalist now.

NZ are in final of world cup once again. Though NZ is very good side but they manage to win only one mega event till date which is ICC Champions trophy in 2000 other then that its a dry era.
Odds were in favour of England before this game but thanks to superb knock by Mitchell (72 runs on 47 balls), NZ manage to win another semi final. England main expectations were from Adil Rashid but he was very expensive today.
557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 10, 2021, 06:38:20 PM

My dear mate it's just mind game from Australians because we all know about them how they have done these things against their opponents for this semifinal they are feeling some pressure which is surely had some big impact after losing against quality team like England very badly, so they are using their tactics even it's not going to have any special response from PCB or team for this match, but they started this all on good time. Still we have nearly 4 months for this all and after sudden quit from New Zealand it's uncertain until we have all completed it's just a rumour.

Australian already have some bad reputation about their poor judgment's as they have done against South Africa, so currently it's time to just chill and enjoy currently CWC's last 3 matches which are going to start from 10th November.

Fully agree with you. It's just a tactics by Aussies to get sympathy of PCB before the semi final. I too was surprised after reading this news that how can Aus agree to play in Pakistan at a time when both England and NZ have canceled there tours. I don't think they are poor in making judgements rather they are smart in making announcements at crucial times. PCB also looks convinced they Aus won't come in March 2022.
So it's time to focus on remaining 2 games, as NZ has qualify for the final.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: November 10, 2021, 06:30:18 PM

He is definitely looking to do something in retaliation to the government stating they wish to tax the rich.
So he is looking for a outlet so to avoid doing so in curtailing the sell-off of his own companies stocks and putting it into bitcoin.

USA govt is not that innocent that they will let MUSK run away with 20 billion USD unnoticed. He will definitely buy BTC from some centralized exchange where he can be traced and taxed. So I dont think this can ba reason.

I hate to admit the fact that Elon really makes this market a place circling his funds and assets , though I hate to believe that there is a chance that this tweet again makes the increase of Bitcoin price yet most of the currency he will

But the credit goes to crypto community for making him so popular in the crypto currency in such a short span of time after Craig White. We pay unnecessary attention on such people tweets and claims that serves their purpose.

If you would like to invest in this round, you can send e-mails to investor@cata.network, with a brief introduction about yourself. We will reply you as soon as possible and have a further discussion.

Thanks for clarifying the issue. Can you please elaborate what sort of information one should include while writing you the email? I am hearing this for the first time that investors need to tell something about them to invest.

Feel free! Anything, such as projects you've been involved in, or your insights into the crypto, decentralized storage, etc.
Since this project is still in its early stages, we prefer to receive support from projects that are more related to the project itself or to the ecology, rather than just money.
If you are from a related project or organization, we would love to establish a partnership with you. Of course, if you are just a big fan of crypto, we can reserve some amount of tokens for you, but we need to communicate with you by email first.

Thanks!
560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weekend Trading, how do you feel about it? on: November 09, 2021, 05:36:09 PM

So weekend trading is good for placing long positions?! And that can work, right? People can trade like that and make a profit if they do it properly! It's trading, after all, each of us can find the strategy that suits them! Of course, people who trade long positions only on weekends will miss this and that, but it does not matter, playing on safe can be less profitable, but at least it's not a loss!

IMO trading on weekends is as bad or risky as on any working days. Trading on weekend is suited for people who are in trading market for all the time. You cant just jump in the market on weekends and make profit.

Quote
I think in trading many things can work if you have a good approach, do your research, be patient, check your orders from time to time (on weekends)... and if it's profitable just continue with that! If not, change it!

Crypto trading works only on hit and trail basis. You need to lose something to learn this art. Though there are fundamentals like TA/FA and Charts, but what matters the most is your strategy and that only comes from your own knowledge and experience.
