Hope my impression is wrong!

Just to clarify the guidelines he has broken:

I would like this 'no tolerance' being enforced

This section is for the speculation and discussion of bitcoin's value.

Some general guidelines:
    • There is no tolerance for the spreading of false or deceptive information.
    • News articles may be discussed here on the day of announcement, but afterwards discussion will need to take place in the Press section.
    • Speculation of alternate cryptocurrency belongs in Alternate cryptocurrencies.
    • Discussion of exchanges belong in Service Discussion, but services related to speculation may be discussed here.

There is nothing about him being a scammer in those threads.  Your a disgrace.

Blatchcorn, are you trying to protect your scammer buddy? He is obviously trying to lure more people into the Bitcoin trap by talking about fake trades/demand. He/you better cut loose now! Stop fooling everybody!
Again there is nothing about him being a scammer is those threads and I have never spoken to Fonsie.  Now get off your alternative account.
1126  Other / Meta / Can we ban fallling? on: August 14, 2014, 07:48:24 AM
He started off posting deceptive information and aggressively telling people to sell or risk suicide later.

Now he has trying to damage the reputation, and make accusations, of those who speak out against him.

    How can this be acceptable?

    1128  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 14, 2014, 04:53:34 AM
I like how all of the bagholders are calling people who sold are were liquidated out of their longs scumbags and saying they are weak for not taking a 10 to 15% haircut... but the volume is at like 65 per fifteen minutes or less on Stamp and mostly towards the negative side. If they really believe their own bulls--- why aren't they buying?HuhHuh

Riddle me that one Batman? And I even think the price is a bit of a bargain right now on its face, but these jokers are berating people because the are holding rotting bags but they refuse to buy more.
How do you know whether they are buying or selling?

Look at the Market... Bitstamp has no volume. What I say is if you aren't a hypocrite and you think this is such a good price and everybody is terrible for not taking a haircut... then go and buy... buy 'em all. F---ing go for the gusto. Otherwise, you are, in their words, a "coward." Bunch of hypocrites.
We aren't all whales around here.  There are people buying, but that is going to do nothing to influence the price

1132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why did BTC drop to $570 level? on: August 12, 2014, 03:10:11 PM

1134  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Around the World on 80 Bitcoins on: August 12, 2014, 02:55:06 PM
I will abandon the corrupt banking system and leave all fiat currency behind on the 1st of January in 2015, trying to survive only with bitcoins talking about it in every corner of the globe. I am planning to visit at least 75% of the states/nations that there are in the world (UNO counts 196 and Wiki says 209). Therefore it will be forbidden for me to exchange bitcoin into fiatcurrency by myself or a third party. I hope you understand that i will not travel to countries at war or the north or south pole. You might lose all your investments and i can't even promise that there will be any refund for what you fund. I will take videos and pictures on my journey for sure and would be willing to team up with a documentary team if you wish so, and constantly update my web page. I will enable a person to act as a killswitch if something happens to me so your Bitcoins will partially be refunded in case i die on my trip. - See more at:

But i guess more publicity will be on this project

Bitcoin is the future and we hope that future generations will grow up and be able to experience and live in financial indepedence. So we have to help our newborn daughter build her future based on that. If you fund us, to help raise her, we will name her Satoshi Bitcoin. This way she will be spreading the message of Bitcoin to the people her age everywhere in the world. She will be the first bitcoin baby and she will become a living preview of the upcoming future of generation alpha, as part of a big community. Future is here! Be a part of a new era! Thank you for funding our little satoshi Smiley

You definitely seem desperate to acquire Bitcoin.  Does your wife know about these crowdfunding campaigns?

1136  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: August 12, 2014, 02:42:45 PM
As this is Risto's quality TA thread, could we please analyze the crash that occurred last night? Do we have some TA to account for the reasons or do we know nothing about the reasons?

launch pad is clearly at 550 USD. Just waiting for the traders to come back from their holiday and some good anouncements: paypal/ebay adding bitcoin + COIN ETF approved by the SEC

Delusional. Summer vacation lull is a myth, and this community puts way too much emphasis on the Twinklevoss ETF. Tell me why exactly investors will rush to buy in to an under performing asset just because it's packaged into an ETF? Everyone and their hairdresser is now aware of bitcoin... if they had wanted to invest in it, they would have invested in it. Clearly, the last 9 months are telling us something: they're not.
Some investors cannot invest in Bitcoin because of regulatory concerns.  The EFT enables huge amounts of money to be invested with no friction
1137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be use by future Mars Inhabitants? on: August 12, 2014, 02:40:09 PM
Some day in the future we will have human settlements in Mars can they use bitcoin?

The short answer would be, "Yes." The long answer is that there are already some cryptocurrency users who have thought of this, including the Marscoin Foundation. Interplanetary traders are probably going to insist on taking cryptocurrencies as payment for the sake of convenience and complete lack of patience with Earth-bound banks who want a slice of the pie that they haven't earned. It wouldn't be a long shot to say that those interplanetary traders could be backed by economic strategists who have gotten sick of Earth's insistence on using systems that were outdated before we ever had permanent settlements on Mars.
Talk about being proactive.  People must be running out of Altcoin ideas these days
1138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Store bitcoins in a timed vault. on: August 12, 2014, 02:32:44 PM
Does anyone think there could be a potential business opportunity in time vault storage?

There might be a few people willing to pay for it.  But it would be too easy for https://www.elliptic.co/vault to add a timed-release feature
1139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Bitcoin, US consumer agency warns on: August 12, 2014, 02:29:44 PM
And yet the average consumer gives a high value to anything "government backed" without knowing what exactly it means.
"Government backed" means backed by armies and violence, basically.

When you support nation-state fiat scrip, you support violence.
To be fair, I don't blame the average consumer for having more faith in government than cryptography.
1140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have my mother almost convinced. on: August 12, 2014, 02:26:30 PM

Hardest thing is convincing them of the philosophy of bitcoin and why we need it or something similar to evolve as a species.  People still think its some quirky nerd money.

It's because people are trying to hard to get people convinced to get on board. I'm sure a lot of people would actually consider looking into it, but when they are being pushed into it again and again, it really looks like some pyramid or Amway scheme....
I find the opposite is true.  Most people I meet and talk about Bitcoin with say they will read up on it, but never bother
